Something I need to make clear before I do my character bio;
In this AU, my oc will have a hyphenated last name as a result of her mother marrying into some random branch of the Malfoy family. Which means we're adding some random, unidentified and frankly unimportant branch to the Malfoy family tree.

Now that that's out of the way...

Name: Ivy Sterling-Malfoy
Age: 11
Gender: Female
Blood status: Pureblood
Hogwarts Year: 1 obviously
Hogwarts House: Slytherin
Talents: Naturally excels in potions, Parselmouth
Companions/Pets: An emerald tree boa (big green snake lol) named Noodle, a young snowy owl named Marshmello (Mello for short)

Personality: She named a like 6 ft long bright green constrictor "Noodle", I think that about sums her up xD

Extra info: Breaks most of the Slytherin sterotypes by being fairly social and being friends with lots of people from other houses, especially Gryffindors. She has plenty of self-confidence but isn't arrogant or selfish. She likes to terrorize Draco with her snake friend, Noodle, who really isn't even that scary and would never hurt anything (but he doesn't know that).
Is also shunned by most of the Malfoy family because she doesn't hate muggle-borns and muggles, also for being friends with the Weasleys. She will actually defend muggle-born students whenever conflict arises.

Edit: She's also the person who will never study but get a better grade than you anyway lol

Pet: cat; a grey scottish fold female named Dusty

Personality: Rowan is a very energetic boy, who is understandably awed by even the smallest sort of magic. He’s quite optimistic and friendly, and pretty oblivious to the stereotypes regarding the different houses.

He’s also really talkative, and will gladly talk to anyone/anything that listens. Rowan is usually cheerful, with a an almost constant goofy grin across his face. He may not be the most intelligent kid, but he does have quite a charm on most professors since he’s just so... happy and bubbly.

Unfortunately, Rowan is an easy target for bullying. He’s gullible and a bit naive when it comes to bullies, so it’s pretty easy to take advantage of him. A lot if the times he doesn’t even realize he’s being bullied. After getting called a ‘mudblood’ for the first time, Rowan thought this was the funniest thing.

Still, Rowan definitely isn’t stupid; he just doesn’t exactly think things through all the time, whether that be his actions or words. He also does really well in herbology for some reason. He’s a true and loyal friend.

Both his parents are muggles, obviously, so they’re very new to the while wizarding world. Rowan’s mother was originally from England, but moved to Scotland after she met Rowan’s father during a vacation. Both are incredibly proud of their son. His mom runs a local florist shop and his dad is a carpenter.
