"You aren't gonna quit band, you moron. You know why? Because that's not the Alexander I know. The Alexander I know never gives up. The Alexander I know is relentless." Burr paused. "Now stop being a baby and march your ass back to class."

"You don't understand." Alexander said softly. "I'm giving up. I'm done." Alexander flipped the page of his book.

"I understand perfectly Alexander." Burr paused. "I understand that you're an emotional wreck. I understand you're letting your emotions control you." He paused again. "You're not quitting. You don't quit until I say you quit."

"I quit when I can't take any more. And I can't take anymore. So I quit." Alexander was calm, contemplative. He knew what he was saying. He knew what he was doing.

"You can take much more than this, Alexander. You've taken more shit than any other person I know. You can handle anything that's thrown at you. So I'm gonna say this one last time. You're not quitting." Burr said all of this with the sternest voice he could muster. He wasn't going to let Hamilton back down. Not now.

"I have my limits too, Aaron. And I've hit mine." Alexander whispered, focused on his book but not reading the words. "Go back to class. Pretend I'm sick or something. But I'm quitting."

"Alexander Hamilton? Limits? You don't have a limit. You keep on going. You are relentless. You waste no time. So..." Burrs posture tightened. "Get back in the band room. Now."

Alexander gave a bitter laugh. "That's who I used to be. I'm not strong enough for that any more." He mumbled. "I'm just not strong enough."

"Not strong enough, Alexander? Not strong enough? You struggled through with Eliza, now look where you are. Your relationship may be rocky, but you got through that. You and I fighting? You got through that. Hell, you were the first to apologize. You got through your sons death. You've gotten through everything that's happened so far. If anything, I think you're stronger than you were." Burr replied, holding himself back from yelling at Alexander. "Now, for the final time, will you get over yourself and get back in the band room?"

Alexander nearly burst into tears at the mention of Eliza. Of his son. Of everything he's been put through. He slowly closed his book and looked at Burr the round his glasses. "I can't." He said, his voice choked with tears. "I can't do this anymore, Burr." Alexander started rolling up his sleeve. "I've never been able to do this. I've just pretended I'm okay. I'm not. I can't do this any longer." Alexander finally got his sleeve above his elbow and showed Burr the long scar left after the attempted suicide. "Washington was the only thing keeping me going. Now I don't have him."

(Gonna sneak a Washington post)

Washington stared at his letter, he found some to prick his finger on and put it on the letter and let it sit. He lifted it and smiled.

(Sorry this took a while!)

"You're right, you don't have Washington anymore. Now you have me. And I'm telling you to never give up and to get your ass back in the band room. Please." He was practically begging Hamilton to listen to him now. Burr would do anything to stop him from making stupid decisions now. He just hoped the things he was saying were getting through Hamiltons thick skull.

"No." Hamilton whispered. "No, I can't. I'm sorry." A tear fell down his cheek and Alexander wiped it away.

"God dammit, Hamilton. I'm sick of this. Im sick of you doubting yourself. Just listen to my advice for once and GET BACK IN THE BAND ROOM." So much for staying quiet in the library. Burr was practically yelling now, he didn't care. He just wanted Alexander to stop being so stubborn.

Alexander broke down into tears, wiping at the tears as they fell. "Please stop. Just let me be."

Burrs posture slacked as he sighed to himself. "I'm sorry Alexander. Just promise me one thing? Don't quit band. You can take a break from it. You can do whatever you want, just don't quit. Okay?" He asked, concerned.

"Ok, Burr." Alexander whispered, still crying softly.

"Good man." Burr replied, patting him on the back. "Just know that I'm here when you need me." He muttered again, walking out of the library as he did so.

"Mr. Adams? I think Alexander is going to need to take a break for awhile." He said when he arrived to the band room.

@Camilton

When Burr left, Alexander broke into sobs, burying his face in his hands. He'd lost too much. He needed a break.

Thomas sighed, "I'm sorry James.. it's he's just getting on my nerves." He said and hugged James, then gave James' a soft kiss.

"So, about after school..." James said, an awkward smile on his face. "Who is going to bottom?"

Adams nodded, "Let him have it." He said and started looking at some music.

"So, about after school..." James said, an awkward smile on his face. "Who is going to bottom?"

Thomas smiled, "I will." He offered and gives James a soft kiss.
