Realistic or Modern Haenghada High (CLOSED)

Rosee gave a tiny smile to Hoya when he asked her what was going on, "I'm just not feeling very well." That was the easiest way to put it. When you put it that way it seems to people that you're simply ill. And that was the way Rosee wanted it. How could she explain to everyone that she felt ugly? And that going back to her old school was tearing her apart from the inside out? She couldn't. Everyone would be around her trying to convince her otherwise and it would only make things worse. Rosee knew she wasn't ugly, she didn't think she was the most gorgeous person on the planet, hell she didn't even think she was the prettiest in her own house. But no act of rationality could make her feel any different.

When Hoyas attention was pulled away she was partly thankful and slightly hurt. He just seemed concerned and now she was a second thought so he could go hoist Choi up on his shoulders. Whatever.

Rosee gave Yuri a small wave when she entered the water and the same for Jin... though she quickly looked away when he began to question as well. "You may be right, I haven't felt very well.... actually I think I might just go take a nap before dinner so I'm not a downer there either." Rosee gave a sheepish chuckle before climbing out of the water and wrapping herself with a towel quickly and making her way back to the room where she plopped into the bed and played on her phone.

Minho rolled his eyes a little, his hand was fine! He would be fine! But before he could even protest Choi was calling over Hoya to play with them. It caused him a huff a little as his eyes rolled yet again. "Choi I would be fine! Being babied is driving me insane."  And before he knew it Hoya was throwing Choi over his shoulder and running off into the water. Minho wanted to say something but he knew he had to hide getting actually upset. To the others he and Choi were just some flirtatious sort of thing.

"Yeah sure whatever." Minho grumbled in response to Yubin as she tried her hardest to include the poor sap. "And Hyunn right! You and Hoya have no chance Choi. You guys don't have the chemistry that we have baby."  Minho was back a little, making his cocky comment and giving her a wink as he stepped into the water and leaned against the wall. "And I think Yubin is more Hyunns sibling than you are. Seriously

are you two even related?" He smirked again at his stupid joke before throwing his hands obnoxiously in the air. "Alright ladies and gents start your engines!"

Insufferable wench? Who was he addressing? Her eyes narrowed at Hoya as he walked to her, even more so when he picked her up. "God you're a beast! A brute I tell you." As soon as she was placed back in the water she grumbled and straightened out her suit. "I just hope you're not as rough on Rosee like that. Poor little thing." She smirked over at Hoya and gave him a small jab with her elbow. "What was that, Minho? Tell me, as the personality type of your group, isn't it your job to fake chemistry with people?" She shot a small wink and smirk over towards Minho before smacking Hoya in the shoulder. "Down beast. Rosee is way more forgiving than I am, failure is not an option. Don't drop me." With that said she hopped on the back of his shoulders. "Hyuun's always gotten along with bitter people. She's a better fit than Yuri was ever. Who knows, if he invested in a hairbrush or a comb he might win her over!" Yeah, right. The kid was worse than a child when it came to his hair. Or anything for that matter.

Yuri rolled her eyes and sank deeper in the hot tub as Hoya made his jokes. Soon enough he got out to go join the others to play in the pool. Rosee seemed to be behaving pretty odd, but in the water she was pretty much voiceless. She had been acting more weird than anyone here. When she got up out of the water she watched her with curious eyes. "R-" Once again she caught herself, letting out a small huff of anger. This was getting old.

Standing from the tub she grabbed a towel and wrapped it around herself. With another long sigh she walked back up to the hotel room and peeked in on Rosee. Sleeping? Not so much. A small smirk formed on her pretty lips as she cleared her throat to make herself known.

Hyuun arched his brows as Choi said something about his hair. "You come near my hair and I'll cut those modelesque hands of yours. Know who you never see being the personality of the group? A hand-less pretty girl." He shot her a quick glare and looked from her to Minho. "Why are you bringing up this chemistry nonsense? It's a game of pushing and shoving. No one should be having chemistry together. Chemistry was last years science class." He definitely didn't want Choi and Minho to become a thing. Imagine how awful that would be. The most egotistical, self righteous couple. That's what they would be. Now Yubin and him though? The angry gaming couple.

He could get behind that.

His face flushed at the thought. "Right. Well. Let's get to it." He knelt down in the water so she could climb onto his back. "Seems like even the ref is rooting for us. You guys don't stand a chance."

"I cannot believe that they beat you two three times in a row...." Minho let out a giant laugh as he leaned against the counter in the kitchen and shoved his bandaged hands into the pockets of his nicely tailored suit. The girls were finishing up getting ready for the fancy dinner downstairs that Fei had reserved and the boys were simply waiting. The pool was brutal, Yubin had pushed Choi down into the water rather quickly. Then Hoya insisted on best two out of three .... then best three out of five. Finally it was Choi who broke the cycle, obviously fed up with getting nearly drowned.

"Are you girls almost ready?!" Minho yelled into the direction of the bedroom and shifted his weight on his feet. He was wearing a very classic looking suit, black with a white button up and a black bow tie. His hair was slicked back and a pair of nice patent leather shoes were on his feet.

The dinner was in some five star restaurant connected to the hotel. Fei had made reservations for them to have a nice dinner there and then whatever spa treatments they wanted afterwards.

Yubin stuck her tongue out at Choi one final time before turning around in front of the mirror. "It was nice to not have to blow dry my hair." She snikered to herself and ran her fingers through the loose curls that Rosee had put into her blonde locks for her. After the pool they had all went to get ready and the dresses Fei sent over seemed way over the top for dinner, but some of the others reassured here that this restaurant was actually that fancy.

The red satin was draped over her skin in a way that was a lot more feminine and sexy for Yubin than she was used to... the large slit in the material showed a piece of large of lace in the same burgundy color that went to her mid thigh. "Aish...." Yubin sighed a little as she yanked to try to make herself more comfortable in the gown. Yeah, she wore revealing and tight clothing on stage but that was different. This just felt... weird.

"Calm down!" Yubin yelled as she heard Minho yell, throwing open the bedroom door and making her way out to the boys and crossing her arms across her chest and rolling her eyes at the boy. "Was waiting five minutes really going to kill you?"

Jin had followed Yuri upstairs shortly after she left the hot tub but he stayed in the living room and flipped through some channels. It seemed like Rosee and Yuri were talking and he didn't want to bother them... well more Rosee talking to Yuri but the sentiment remains. After a while the others returned, Choi looking entirely unamused and Hoya looking pissed while Yubin and Hyunn seemed over the moon confident.

"Minho give the guy a break, you couldn't even play if I remember correctly." Jin smiled and gave his friend a gentle shove in the ribs before turning his attention to Yubin as she entered the room with a grumble. A part of him wanted to compliment her but the other part thought that would be very awkward. Though she did look very nice. Jin himself was wearing a charcoal colored suit and a black button up under with a silver tie.

No one could lie to Yuri. The girl just looked to innocent to keep anything from! So Rosee spilled about it all, her middle school, the bullies, the insecurities... everything. The girl responded in reassuring smiles and a few things written on the whiteboard and it ended with the two of them watching funny videos while laying in the plush bed and waiting for the others.

The talk made her feel a tiny bit better, like she wasn't completely alone. But she was still terrified of going back there and Hoya running off to the a lot more feminine and well sexy Choi... made her feel like trash. Not that she was into Hoya like that, but she still

enjoyed the attention. All the other boys around her didn't even look at her once. Not like that, but the girls around her were constantly chased after and flirted with.

Once the others were back they all started getting ready and Rosee couldn't help but sneer at Feis choice of dress. "She always wants me to wear pink because of my name!" Rosee grumbled as she pulled on the two piece rose colored ensemble and looked up and down in the mirror. The top was a heavily headed halter and the bottom a flowy skirt. She took her red hair and tied it up into a messy but put together updomwith swept over bangs.

Yuri let out a small whine as she looked at herself in the mirror. The silver halter lace up dress showed more skin than she usually liked to, but it was the dress Fei picked out. And since everything Yuri owned was either a ridiculous color or something casual...well, she had to wear this dress. Her shoulder length light brown hair dried in perfect waves, her makeup and nails done by Choi. She didn't look like the happy go lucky cute girl anymore, she actually looked like a woman.

Being a woman was uncomfortable. She much preferred bright colors and more comfortable clothes than the tightly tied dress.

As she gave one final look she attempted to pull down the end of the dress before giving up with a long sigh. Right. With that done she walked out to the others, her big brown eyes avoiding looking at everyone. Her cheeks were a bright shade of red as she situated from one black heel to the next. Her eyes glanced over at Jin and felt her cheeks heat more. He looked nice, really nice.

Losing didn't happen. Choi got what she wanted. Was she spoiled? Slightly, but she was also one of the most competitive people out there. At least, she liked to think she was one of the most competitve. So when she was pushed in the water she was none to please. The second time she was sure to push Yubin in! Unfortunately for her she was drench in water at this point, and that made it more easy for Yubin to push her in.

"Yeah, well I was going to shower anyway." She knew that if Minho and her were on a team together then they would have won, but she really didn't want him doing too much. The last thing they needed was his reckless ass getting hurt again. She smiled to herself as she put one final curl in her hair. Her long dark hair fell flawlessly into perfect waves down her back, her short black dress fitting her perfectly. The dress was lacy and complimented her long thin arms and tanned body. Her makeup was done with a simple coat of liner, some blush and a red lipstick. Finally she slipped on some black heels and looked over at the girls. "You guys look great. Fei knows what she's doing when it comes to dressing." She hoped.

With a tuck of a curl behind her ear she followed out the girls. "Minho I hear you cackling all the way from our room. If you so much as bring up our loss I will punch you into next week." She shot him a look before turning her glare at Hoya. "If someone knew how to properly hold onto a girl this wouldn't have happened."

"Stop being so bitter. You guys hate each other, it's no surprise that you lost." Hyuun groaned quietly and fussed with his hair. Minho kept saying what a fancy place this was. At first he didn't care, but the text he got from his sister threatening to cut all of his hair made him run a brush through his hair. He wore a fitted suit with a burgundy tie and the same burgundy hair tie to hold his wild hair. "Besides..." He trailed off as he turned around and seen the girls walk out. He didn't really notice most of the girls, just Yubin. His cheeks lit up a bright red and he looked away, his hand rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

"You uh, you look good. I like that dress. It's different." Hyuun wasn't one for saying nice things to people so compliments were more difficult than he thought they were. "And Choi, if your dress got any shorter I'd say that dress is best left for the bedroom." He smirked slightly and looked over at her. There, he was back.

"We would have won if we did 3 out of 5, but nooo, Choi was too afraid of drowning. Baby." Hoya rolled his eyes and tugged at the collar around his neck uncomfortably. One dinner was too much in this. Chains and spikes he could do, but tuxes and suits? They were tight, uncomfortable, and an eye sore. To make matters worse, Fei gave him a pink tie! The bitch was lucky she was Rosee's friend or else she'd find herself shipped to some random island to get her far far away from him. "Let's just get this over with..."

"Properly hold onto a girl? I held onto your hips! What else am I supposed to grab? When you first fell you damn near snapped my neck!" He glared down at Choi, smoothing the gelled mohawk. "Anyways, where's Rosee? Let's get this over with so I can take off this suit."

"Oh-uh thanks?" Yubin snickered and ran a hand through her blonde waves to shake them out a little before turning on her three inch heels and moving towards the door. Hyunn looked nice himself but no way was she saying anything in front of Choi, not after their conversation by the pool. Though she did have to admit, they were totally right about the hair brush thing.

Once downstairs they gave their names to the hostess and waited a few moments to be seated. The people around them were dresssed to the nines and the room was done up in crystal and gold accents. The tables were draped with black linens and the tops covered with a crystal vase and single red rose. It was all very.... swanky. "Holy shit." Yubin heard herself saying and instantly converting her mouth as they sat down. The menu was a single sheet and most of the items she had only heard of on TV.

"May I have a glass of merlot?" Yubin smiled sheepishly at the waiter before turning back to the others and whispering, "It's the only one I've ever had..." usually Yubin was more of a beer girl... or boxed wine... or vodka. In her clutch the small cell phone chimed and she jumped a little, who in the hell? She pulled her phone out sneakily and looked at it under the table: Ask for two seats, G and I are coming to talk to you.-Fei

"Yuri-" Jin stopped himself before he got himself into anything stupid, she was dating G after all no matter what the two of them had talked about. And none of the others needed to think he was turning her into this cheating girl again. Not that she really ever was.... but anyways. Yuri looked gorgeous and mature. Not that he didn't love the quirky adorable side of her but this was just so different and just wow.

"Yeah, let's go." Jin gave Yuri a small nod and a smile as he held the door open for her and the others, even pulling out her chair as they sat down.

When Yubin spoke to the waiter, Jin cleared his throat and spoke up "Kim merlot is the one you don't like. You like Pinot noir." Instantly Jin blushed a little, it wasn't his place anymore but it was just so second nature that it slipped out. "I mean Yubin. The merlot is the one that you spit out..." Sometimes it was easy to forget how long the two of them had known each other. Especially when she seemed so intent on forgetting. "Anyways, I'll just take a water please. Thank you."

Fei groaned as she trudged into the restaurant covering her face slightly with her clutch as she swept passed people and whispered to the hostess. The peach haired starlet was clad in a flowy white dress that reached the floor and her hair was worn with natural wave around her face, the bangs braided back. It wasn't that she didn't look good, it was that she didn't want to be out of her house at all. Let alone bothered about the fire, or anything for that matter.

"Ladies, gentleman. Yuri, where's your boyfriend he was supposed to meet me outside but he's running late. Anywho." Fei finished in a sing song voice before ordering a glass of wine and turning back to the short haired girl. "The doctors called the school because they didn't know how to reach you, since you can't really talk. And since you apparently put down me as a contact, thank you by the way, I have some more information." Fei stopped to pull a paper from her clutch and handed it to Yuri. "I hate to do this now but I figured I should do it before your spa day, so you can use it to relax. But they don't think it's a good idea for you to sing at the middle school trip."

"I'm coming I'm coming!" Rosee yelled and shuffled out of the room to catch up with the others, the skirt moving behind her dramatically thanks to the lightweight material. When she was back with the group she cheered a little, "Don't we all clean up well!" The idea of the dinner and spa made her cheer up a little bit. Though the trip was still in the back of her head.

"This is insane." Rosee looked around the dining room with wide eyes, like a kid in a candy shop. Even during her time in a group they had never went to a place like this. What kind of money did Fei make now?! Hell now she couldn't blame the girl for wanting to go solo.

"Ah water." Rosee didn't need alcohol, plus knowing her she would just spill the damn thing on her dress. Especially when Jin spoke to Yubin. It would have required a spit take. For some reason Rosee always forgot the two were once a thing, they just seemed way too different... "Uh ah.. Fei! Look guys it's Fei!"

Unfortanatley Fei didn't come with very good news...

"So do we cancel?"

Well ill maybe she did.

As usual G was late to the party. Good thing too because he didn't want to be the one to break the news to Yuri. Would she freak out? A little, but he didn't want to see the sad look on her face when she heard the news. He had a plan though. She could write the lyrics and focus more on her dancing. Sure she'd be a little pissed, but if it was for her recovery how could she resist?

G marched into the dining room and adjusted the black and white tie around his neck. G could never really wear anything normal, that just wasn't his style. So the silver, black, and white suit made him stand out. His eyes glanced over the dining room before they landed on the gang, a bright smile lighting up his face as he walked over to them. He ran a hand through Yuri's hair and looked over at the waiter as they took orders. "The little lady will have a glass of chateau margaux and water. Same with me." He pulled up a seat next to Yuri and grinned wider. "You look great. We match!" His eyes landed on the paper and his smile fell. "Oh. Uh, shit. Don't freak out. I had an idea!" He grinned once more. "You may not be able to sing, but you can still write. And this means you can focus more on the dancing."

Yuri felt her cheeks heart up when Jin said her name. Was that a compliment? She felt even more uncomfortable as she left the room and went to the restaurant. The group got a couple looks from the other diners. Were they good looks? Oh, she just wanted to go back to her room. When Jin pulled out her seat she smiled up at him and gave him a small smile of thanks, tucking her dress underneath her as she sat in the seat.

Her brows raised curiously as Jin ordered Yubin's drink. They drank a lot of wine together? She knew they dated, so why did she feel so jealous all of a sudden? Thankfully Fei came and distracted her. Not for the good obviously. A small frown took over her pretty face as she took the paper and heartd what Fei had to say. "N-" but before she could even protest what she just had heard G was touching her hair and ordering for her. Her brows furrowed as she glared at Fei and G, the glare remaining as G spoke. Oh, great, she could dance! Was dancing what she was good at?! No! She was a singer.

Quickly she pulled out her phone and sent Choi a message for her to say for her. Might as well stay home from the trip seeing as I'm not much use otherwise. She sunk down in her chair as she sulked.

----

Why'd she get dragged out here? Yuri didn't want to be apart of this, she didn't want to even go on this stupid trip. Fuck, before she left she got so angry at G she broke up with him. He was overbearing! 'make sure you do this, make sure you bring this, have fun' how the fuck was she supposed to have fun? Watching Yubin sing? Yeah. So much fun. Rapper and singer, meanwhile Yuri is just the dancer that isn't as good as Rosee. Yeah, she'd impress everyone.

Most of the car ride was spent sulking and blaring her music. The drive was long, and by noon they had arrived at the inn they were staying at. She climbed out and straightened her bright yellow shirt and black sweats. She wasn't feeling like herself. The medicine she was still taking made her feel like crap, and she still wasn't allowed to talk. Her short hair had gotten a tad bit longer now, long enough to put in a small bun on the top of her head. "Hmph." She pouted as she looked around. She just wanted to sleep the time away.

Choi watched Yuri type out something on her phone and sulk in her chair. What? Before she got to question her she felt her phone vibrate, her brown eyes looking down at the message from Yuri. "Might as well stay home from the trip seeing as I'm not much use otherwise." She sighed quietly and put down her phone. "Yuri, you're still a good dancer. Put your talent towards that and writing the song." She smiled at her before glancing at the waiter. "Water please. And is alcohol really the best thing for her right now, G?" Quickly Choi shook her head. Nope, not starting anything today with anyone. If Yuri drank she drank, if she didn't she didn't. She was a big girl.

"So tomorrow we'll start working on the song and dance then?"

-----

Choi wasn't one for long car rides. She spent the whole car ride leaned against Minho sleeping. When the van parked she opened her eyes in time to see Yuri climb out. "Mm. We're here?" Slowly she rubbed her eyes and yawned quietly. She wore something cute and comfortable today, a white tank top with a high waist floral skirt, a brown belt wrapped around her waist and wooden wedges. Her wavy hair was tied in a loose ponytail, slightly messy from the nap she took.

"Yuri, just relax. Enjoy the trip. You've perfected your dance, and the doctor gave you the clear to talk in a couple days. So just enjoy, yeah? You're free of G now too, so you can flirt with some cute local boys." She shot her a playful wink as she climbed out and tossed her arm around her short friends shoulder.

"I'm not classy, I want a rum and coke." Hyuun shot a quick glare over at G as he ordered a drink for Yuri. First off she wasn't supposed to be drinking. Second off, he still didn't approve of their relationship. Who was he anyways? He didn't deserve a sweet girl like Yuri, especially when he relentlessly hit on other girls like Yubin! Yuri already had a screwed up idea of a relationship thanks to Hyuun. Now she'd probably think that his behavior was acceptable. He had to break the two of them up. Or just get rid of G all together. Did they really need the bastard?

"G, aren't you our mentor? Shouldn't that mean you stay away from the girls? Especially Yuri. She's so sensitive right now what with the loss of her voice. Someone like you around who's big in music? Don't you think you'd just upset her?" The same went for Jin, but the enemy right now was G.

-

"This. Is. Trash." Hyuun groaned as he sat his head back in his seat at the front of the class, looking over at Yubin. Why'd he get dragged here? G didn't value Hyuun's opinion at all, he just wanted it to seem less sketchy than if he was to just invite Yubin. So here he sat for nearly two hours in a class watching G and Yubin talk about rapping. They weren't even talking at this point, just gross flirting and making everyone feel awkward.

"Oi, G." Hyuun stood up and leaned against the wall. "If all you were going to do is hit on her, why don't you just ask her out and get on teaching a class?" The students laughed and made Hyuun grin. That would set him straight. Though if he did ask her out he'd probably knock him on his ass.

"Oi Hoya watch yourself." Minho gave Hoya a sideways glance as they exited the car, his chin moving to nudge in the direction of a few people walking around the area, presumably locals. Plus this place seemed nice, it was a change from Seoul sure but it was a welcome change, here they would get noticed sure, but not as bad as when at Haenghada. The entire car ride he didn't have to worry about people trying to peak through windows and take pictures of them when they did finally exit the car. He could just sit there with Choi asleep on his shoulder and talk to Jin and play on his phone.

When he was outside, Minho stretched his arms out high above his head and gave a large yawn. "So tonight we just sit around and then tomorrow Yubin and Hyunn come up right?" And G, but at the moment Minho was on everyone else's side. The guy needed to go. He was okay as their mentor but he was turning into a dick. Just a complete self centered asshole. They used to be friends but his obsession with flirting with any girl he saw was getting old. Especially when his actual best friend liked Yuri, and Yubin was an old friend. God help G if he even looked at Choi. That would be the end of him.

"Choi let's go get us checked in. Can someone text Fei?" Minho reached over and grabbed Choi's hand gently, pulling her in the direction of the bathhouse before letting go and smirking down at her. "Flirt with local boys huh?"

"Hyunn!" Yubin scolded as she turned her head to him so quickly that she could have gotten whiplash. Though he did have a point, a big point actually. G had asked her out, well kind of. He said he wanted to listen to some of her past stuff from Haenghada, which meant being alone in the practice room... which was probably more hitting on her now that she actually thought about it. "Ah you're right. Anyways, yeah G, continue... teaching that is." Yubin rolled her eyes and chuckled before reaching into her pocket and pulling out her phone that had been buzzing, Hoya?

Yubin let out an audible growl and quickly sent him back a; I will killlll you Hoya

Suddenly her attention was drawn once again to G, "What? Oh yeah sure." Yubin hadn't been paying attention and G was already on a roll of breaking the class down into three groups, giving her all the girls. Great. Girls were always way to excitable. She straightened out her black hoodie before walking over to the group and kneeling down. Finally getting around to what her and Hyunn were forced to do today. Tips and tricks with the younger students.

Once it was all finally over, Yubin noticed another text from Rosee that they had arrived at the little village. "Ah so can we be done now? It's been hours... "

Jin was trying to hide how over the moon he was the entire time, Yuri broke up with G. And broke up with him hard. It was probably one of the greatest things that Jin had ever heard, though he never really wished for anyones sadness. But G seemed to bounce back just fine, it's not like he and Yuri were that good of a pairing anyways, he was just obsessed with his childhood crush. Jin was also trying to hide his excitement because Yuri seemed miserable, not talking or singing was really starting to weigh on the girl... that and just because she broke up with G didn't mean they would be able to really date... Even if they had admitted they liked each other, the public was crazy and they were only about a fourth of the way into the year. Imagine what would happen around the holidays?

"Choi is right Yuri, your dancing has really improved this last week and I'm sure the song you wrote is amazing." Jin smiled down at the girl in the bright yellow shirt as he stood beside her outside of the car. Behind him he heard Minho scold Hoya for his comment and his own face kind of saddened. Wasn't Rosee from a little town like this? If he remembered correctly she was... that would probably really hurt her feelings especially coming from Hoya.

"Minho just remember when you check in that there will be a different dialect, so don't be rude."

Rosee's legs were shaking the entire car ride, she tried to sleep, to listen to music, to read, anything to take her mind of the past but nothing would work. She was far too focused on the girls that used to bully her and the boys that used to ignore her. As soon as she got into Haenghada everyone seemed to think Rosee was so cool, and that they never made her feel like absolute garbage, but it was just because they wanted to be able to say they used to be her friend. But she didn't really used to have those... Despite her cheery personality. In middle school she really only had two friends, a boy a few years older who was her neighbor, his name was Jung and his girlfriend at the time. Though she didn't really talk to either of them anymore.

Once they parked, Rosee hesitantly got out of the car. But at least she was in time to hear Hoya's griping. And man did it hurt. Hoya knew that Rosee didn't come up the wealthiest and he was always totally fine with that, so Rosee assumed he was always like that. But apparently not...

"I'll go with Choi and Minho, so some inbreed with a dialect can understand the other inbreed." Rosee shouldered past Hoya as she moved to catch up with Choi and Minho.

"Hello." Rosee spoke cheerily, despite how much her heart hurt, hearing her best friend speak ill about where she came from, "We had a reservation for-Jung?" Rosee instantly blurted as she recognized the male behind the counter, her eyebrows going high as she stuttered, "I mean we had a reservation for Haenghada high, but I'm sorry, do I know you?" It turned out Rosee was right, she did know him.
