He first became interested in technology when he found a broken phone on the sidewalk, deciding to try to fix it, he becomes fascinated with technology and starts pursuing his career in engineering. After graduating colege at the age of 24 .He decides to move to a colony in jupiter where he would be closer. He only made it because not of his strength but because of his intelligence. Over the last six months he had been in a few battles often keeping control and not overloading his MS having to fix it which is easy for a genius like him.


Other:Raika carries a pair of headphones that he uses to listen to music and a stress ball. In battle situations he carries a pistol and a pocket knife.

    Personality: As an officer of JOTUN Halvey tries to carry himself as cold and professional at all times. Occasionally however, his misgivings about the colonists come seeping forward and his distant professionalism is supplanted by red-eyed fury.

    Newtype Status: Oldtype


    History: Halvey was fresh out of the academy when the war began. Born relatively well off in southern France, Hal was unrelentingly optimistic in his younger years always trying to see the best in any situation. He was nearing graduation in high school when the violence in the colonies really began to increase and chose to pursue a career with JOTUN with the belief that he could help put an end to the chaos that was erupting. He had just left the officer's academy when the first colony fell.


    2 years later and with a lot of dead friends in the back of his mind, barely a hollow shell of who Hal used to be still exists. Replaced with a deep cynicism and a relentless hatred of the FCF and the Colonists in general.

    Personality: Lupe comes off as indifferent and cold to the people around him, which stems from the lack of motivation he has to do anything. In fact he had no passion for anything and felt like his life wasn't his own. Once he fought his first battle under UEL this changed entirely. He discovered that he had a passion for battle, and the life or death atmosphere that it provided him with made him feel alive. Outside of battle, he still maintains a lifeless attitude towards the world around him.

She is angry with her self for not being there for her family, thinking that if she didn't resign she may have been deployed in the battle and can help stopping the bomb. She is stupidly self sacrificial, especially after her family's death. She will not let her comrades to die, and will recklessly put her self in the way of danger to ensure that. A quiet loner when she's sad of thinking of something, and would lock her self inside her cockpit when she's in that mood.

She's already used to her gundam and kind of hate to see change into a new one so... Feel free to tease her about that xD "You said that you hate spacenoids but you use one of their suits?"

Personality: Akito is very understanding of people or at least tries to be but doesn't let that shake his determination or weaken his drive. He fights with his heart as much as he uses his head, never completely cold and calculating but never emotionally blind. To him war always seems to threaten the destruction of everything but will always arise as its necessary or human nature to crave war. As such he seeks to be the one to bring an end to such foolish war and bring humanity to a new Possibility to a new path. He'll always believe in a different possibility and never give up because that's just the kind of person he is.


Faction: Colonies - the Quantum Force


Newtype Status: Innovator


History: Akito is a survivor of the "Belt Incident". His went there with his father and mother as they were their to study the effects of high purity GN particles on human development. On the day of the Belt Incident he remembered his mother and father locking him inside the cockpit of a mobile suit when he was 12, then they jettisoned the suit out into space away from the colony then the viewscreen of the suit went dead. Next thing he remembered was waking up in a medical bay aboard a ship that picked him and a few others up who were stranded out in space.


He learned the colony blew up and that his parents died in the incident as well. While he mourned their deaths he retreated to the cockpit of the mobile suit his parents left him with, then a video message from them played and learned the gist of their resesarch and that is all lead up to him and this MS. They called it their final gift. At first he didn't understand but he would later learned due to exposure to high purity GN Particles and being near the Asteroid Belt he evolve into an Innovator. Then he learned that others were using the Belt Incident to justify war. He felt as a survivor of the Belt Incident it was up to him to right this wrong and others that came from it by ending the war. He chose to do it with the gift bestowed upon him by his parents the product of their research, an Innovator.


He joined up with a small faction of Rebels who were formed from the Surivors of the Belt Incident. Under them he was trained to be a good pilot but with his Innovator capabilities he became a great pilot and their Ace pilot. The faction is really small and besides him has Four massed produced suits based on the data from his own suit though they lack everything but the GN Drive system and the Veda Based AI as their support OS.(hint- very likely to die off one by one.)


Other: His MS was recreated from data they found in a large databank they have hidden somewhere which Akito passively looks for sometimes. They also recreated the Quantum Gn Drive Technology used and made some improvements both to the Drive and suit with some of the latest technology.


He recenlty switched to the 00 Raiser after identifying a problem with the Quanta and its GN Drives as well as following the deaths of the rest of the Exia pilots. Two of their GN Drives were used in the Raiser.

  • O Riser Weapons


GN Beam Machine Gun: Mounted on the binders of the O Riser it has a much faster fire rate than a beam rifle but proportionately less power. When combined with the OO Gundam to make OO Raiser the beams have a somewhat higher output.


GN Micro Missle: A small one shot missile mounted in the O Riser's main body.


GN Vulcans : Mounted on the wings and main body of the O Riser they are for shooting down missiles and other such projectiles.

  • OO Gundam Weapons


GN Beam Sabers: Two GN powered beams sabers with adjustable length stored in the rear waist of the Gundam.


GN Sword III: Attached to the arm of OO Gundam, its made out of GN Condenser Material. In Sword Mode, it can be used like an ordinary sword to cut things but GN Particles can be condensed into the blade to allow it melt through armors of other suits and resist beam sabers strikes. A beam can also cover the whole blade of the GN Sword II, but in Trans Am it can used to fire off a Raiser sword which a really large beam saber perfect for cutting ships in two. In Rifle mode it fires single shot beams with variable output.


Crest Mounted Vulcans: Small vulcans inside the crest of the OO Gundam to do what all vulcans do.

  • Optional Armaments


GN Sword II: Shape like broadswords and normally used in a dual wielding style, in sword mode they are made from GN Condenser material and shift from rifle and sword mode. In both modes the swords can emit a beam saber around the blades but only in Sword Mode can the GN Condenser material be used to condense GN Particles into the blades. In Sword Mode, the two sword can be put together to form a dual bladed staff. In Rifle mode it can fire shots like standard Beam rifle. However it can fire charged shots for larger targets and to have a higher output. They can be stored on the waist of the OO Gundams, carried by hand, or attached to the wings of the Riser of GN Drives of the OO Gundam. Together these two blades can produced a Raiser sword with some assistance from the wings of the O Raiser.


GN Shield: Made of E - Carbon, when not in use it stored as two separate pieces on the GN Drives or the wings of the O Riser. Perfect for deflect solid ammo or weapons and for resisiting beam or heat attacks.


Special Abilities: The OO Raiser have several important special systems to it.


Raiser System: The system that has to do with the O Raiser docking with OO Gundam to form OO Raiser. It's not necessarily needed to maintain and tune synch as much as it was for the older model. But it's actually meant to retune and resynchronize as well as pick up the slack after during Trans AM cooldown. Outside of Trans AM cooldown it's like an amplifier to the OO Gundam which pushes Field: new heights which is why the combination is referred to as a whole new unit entirely. In other words its a charger that allows for safe usage of Trans AM features.


GN Field: Similar to an I Field, its a field of Condensense GN Particles. Defensively, it can deflect beam, heat, and solids alike that are within it's strength. A GN Fields strength depends on the amount of GN Particles in the field and clearly be seen by how bright the field is. The field can be broken by repeated attacks to the same spot without the chance to restrengthen or by particle infused weapons. Offensively, the field can be shaped to increased the power or penetration of melee attacks or focused into a flat surface to increase the power of beam attacks.


Trans Am System: Normally GN Drives have a normal particle producition rate whike excess particles are stored in condensers within the drives. When Trans AM is activated the Condensed and stored particles are released as well as the GN Drives switch to maxmimum output. This increased the mobile suits performance and output exponentially as the stored particles saturate the the suit giving them that reddish glow they have during Trans AM. After trans AM is a cooldown that normally drops the suits performing 20 - 30% but with the Raiser the OO Gundam simply loses the increased power given by the O Raiser during the cooldown.


But Trans AM with Raiser System gives birth to the Trans AM Raiser System. In addition to a standard varying boost to Trans AM the Trans AM Raiser System allows for the use of the Raiser Sword. The Raiser sword is a large beam saber that can cleave ships in two. With the GN Sword II both blades with wings of the Raiser can produce a Raiser Sword but the GN Sword III can do this on its own. Another feature is Quantumization or rather Quantum Teleportation, a short range teleportation technique that leaves behind an afterimage of the OO Raiser to fool enemies. Quantum Teleportation is somethingburst, the a True Innovator can get the Trans AM Raiser to do.


With the final function Trans AM burst, the Trans AM Raiser can produce a large amount of GN Particles to spread his newtype powers across the battlefield or enter the Quantum Space where those encompassed within it as well will find themselves floating there hearing the voices of others. For others who experience this several times they develop the possiblity to Innovate.


Twin Drive System: This system uses two the GN Drives to reach a result squared of normal single Drive. This system works by keeping the two Drives in sync to reach a higher rate of particles production. It's ultimately the source of all the cool features of the OO Raiser. This system is regulated by the O Raiser which restabilizes and regulates both drives to stay in tune with the system.

We needed more colonists and this looks like just the reinforcements they needed. He's accepted.
 
As a general message:


Anyone who hasn't yet, go ahead and follow the chat thread. I'll use it to post updates and stuff from now on.


Newtype and Maximus, if you guys are still in and have the time go ahead and post something.


Since we're lacking on the colonist side, I'll go ahead and make some antagonist characters. If anyone else feels up to it, it might be good if we each have a character on either side so that there is more interaction going on. At least until more people join and we have a larger cast to bounce off of.
 
Aside 2: if there's a mobile suit you want to reserve for a future character/ upgrade for an existing character, either post it in the chat or PM me and I'll make a list.

    Personality: Hotheaded, he oftenly rush to fight without thinking, but his skill thankfully helped to keep him alive. Talk rudely and doesn't have any manner to higher ups, but he is kind and care about his comrade, subordinates, and his foster siblings. When under people who he respected, he will turn into someone who will happily follow an order. Like a dog, someone said. He like a challenge and loved to challenge people into a fight, by teasing or by mocking them.


    Faction: Colonies - "The Lion"


    Newtype Status: Oldtype


    History: Born in one of the furthest colony, a mining colony. Things are hard and people oftenly kill each other just for a piece of bread. Leon never know who his parents are, he only knew that a group of street thugs have take him in out of pity. From what he heard, his father was a miner who killed in an accident and his mother is a prostitute. It's not like he cares about them, he have a better family. Things were hard, his group always have to steal food from the mining company storage and beat other gangs to protect their 'territory'. Death oftenly happen, especially when someone got injured bad in the head. Even if they could take him to a doctor, it will be very expensive.


    To help people that he already see as brothers and sisters, Leon joined the army. He sent all his salary to the person he sees as his big brother, a man older than him named Edrich. Leon is more than eager to rise up through the rank, succeed on doing a hard mission or getting a medal so he could get a bigger salary.


    Other: When he have some time off he will work as a dishwasher or something, if not going home and visit his foster siblings.

Psycoframe Cockpit: This technology helps newtypes more effectively control their machines. In Codename Athena's instance it helps her control the funnels. The cockpit also has sensors that display the battlefield in a 3-d style and show the trajectory and movement of enemies


Quad Wings: The mobile suit is surrounded by four large wings that carry the funnels, beam sabers, I-field generators, and sub-arms. This weapon fires a focused beam of massive, high-velocity mega-particles, which cannot be deflected by magnetic fields and tears through any conventional armor material. The output power of the mega-particle cannon is 4 times greater than conventional laser weapons at the time.
  • Beam Saber: The Kshatriya Novum has a total of six beam sabers located in the forearms and wings.
  • Machine Cannon: Smaller arms fire used primarily to intercept missiles.
  • Beam Gatling Gun: Optional weapon that fires rapid fire beams.
    Backstory:
    Jesse-Ann is a Newtype, though she is closer to a cyber newtype in some people’s eyes as she is a female clone of an enemy Ace created using his DNA extracted secretly from the colonies. The enemy Ace is believed dead but the project was still carried out and Jesse-Ann, codenamed Athena, was born, raised and trained to be the perfect soldier and Mobilesuit pilot, even her unit the Kshatrya, is derived from colonial tech designs in order to help her cloned abilities flourish more rapidly.
    She has only ever known what it is to be a soldier, little else and very few even know of her existence within the Earth Forces and he unit is used only in situations where a heavy and rapid strike unit is needed, hence only members of the secretive Mithril Knights Special Operations unit know who she is and what her unit can really do. She has accomplished herself as the units ace in the hole but often scares others off socially due to her lack of knowledge as to what it is to be human. Who knows maybe someone will change that for her someday.

    History: Born in one of the furthest colony, a mining colony. Things are hard and people oftenly kill each other just for a piece of bread. Leon never know who his parents are, he only knew that a group of street thugs have take him in out of pity. From what he heard, his father was a miner who killed in an accident and his mother is a prostitute. It's not like he cares about them, he have a better family. Things were hard, his group always have to steal food from the mining company storage and beat other gangs to protect their 'territory'. Death oftenly happen, especially when someone got injured bad in the head. Even if they could take him to a doctor, it will be very expensive.


    To help people that he already see as brothers and sisters, Leon joined the army. He sent all his salary to the person he sees as his big brother, a man older than him named Edrich. Leon is more than eager to rise up through the rank, succeed on doing a hard mission or getting a medal so he could get a bigger salary.


    Other: When he have some time off he will work as a dishwasher or something, if not going home and visit his foster siblings.
