'Shadow Demons' are special kinds of demons that are born with the natural ability to manipulate darkness. It is generally known in the supernatural community that most of them deal in underworldly business and organized crime. Many Shadow Demons are part of the mafia, hitmen or gang members.

Enhanced Senses/Physical Abilities
As common with Shadow Demons, both Kira's hearing and sight exceeds that of most others. The same applies to his agility, speed, reflexes and general flexibility, even without having to enhance them with his shadows.
Mental Shield
Telepathic abilities such as mind reading, or mind control, are uneffective against Kira. As having your target know what you're planning on can be fatal on missions, the boy's father trained his mind to block out any and all intrusion. This makes him unable to receive any telepathic messages, or possibly learn such an ability himself.
Bio: Kira's mother died while giving birth to her son, leaving him in the hands of his father, who was an infamous assassin. Said person teached the boy from very early on in the arts of killing, wanting him to continue the family business. He had to survive and stand through extreme conditions such as immense pain, incredible heat/cold and similar situations, as part of his training. Well, and since the boy didn't really know anything else, he came to the conclusion that this was normal, and didn't complain about it. Not like speaking up to his father was an option for him either way; the punishment he'd have to face for disobedience would've been alot harsher than any of the other stuff he had to deal with. Things went on like that until about the age of thirteen, at which he had to make his first kill. An old man who had made himself a few too many enemies was ordered to be dead by the morning. Kira was a little nervous, but ended completing the job successfully. He stabbed the guy in the neck while he was asleep, seperating his skull and spine. The man was dead before being able to notice anything. From there on out, his life basically revolved around killing, doing one job after another. But then, one day, Kira got a mission in particular that changed his view on things. He had to get some information out of a boy around his age, but wasn't allowed to threaten or hurt him in order to do so. After that, Kira was supposed to kill said person.
He registered himself at the same school as his target and started befriending him. It took about two months until the male started speaking... but looking back at the time he took to get there, Kira realized how he actually ended up enjoying living a 'normal' life for once. Going to school, having friends, all of these were new experiences for the boy and it kinda made him reluctant to actually finish the job and going back home. He did eventually decide against it, knowing that continuing things like before wasn't going to make him happy.
The ex-assassin went into hiding for a little while, until he heared about Guardians Academy. It seemed like the perfect place for someone like him, therefor, the boy decided to register himself at the school.
Personality:
Kira is a pretty straight forward person. He isn't afraid to speak his mind, even if it may come off as rude to some and wouldn't refrain from hurting someone if it really came down to it. Still, it's rare for him to be the first one to attack in a conflict.
He's quite confident in his fighting abilities, resulting in a general cockiness of his. The male values loyalty over honesty and doesn't take betrayal lightly at all.
