Grown Up

"Ever since we moved into the dorm your mind has been everywhere" Riley nodded having some of his fries. "If you're nervous about school don't be. You were valedictorian senior year remember? It was only a few months ago" he chuckled lightly

"Im not worried about the school part." He leaned against the chair and looked out the window. "I know heard about what happens in collage experementing and stuff. Im worried about doing it." he sighed. He was scared being intimate. He knows its a stupid fear but it was true.

Riley simply laughed a bit more "Leon.. I don't think you should worry about experimenting." He smirked and took a sip of his soda "as of now I'm the only person you talk to, and you know I say these things cause I'm your friend." He nodded "I think you should be more worried about me experimenting" he smirked hoping that would cover things for the night knowing before they got to Dairy Queen he almost blew it

He looked at him drinking his water his eye brow. "So your going to experiment? With who?" He knows that Riley can get his way with anyone. Now he was curious. He leaned in a bit to put pressure on him. He may not be a flirt but he knows how to get under peoples skin.

Riley shrugged "I don't know, I said maybe, I don't know if I'll actually do that" he leaned back in his chair after eating most of his food "I don't think you'll appreciate me bringing someone home" he didn't want to specify the gender, he didn't like girls and wouldn't go as far as fake something with them to keep his secret from Leon. "I might just have to control myself"

"Humm" he leaned back drinking the water. It felt weird having a talk about stuff like this. "Lets go to a frat party." He said out of the blue finishing the fries and looked at him. "I bet you can get up in with you and your peoples way." He said with his uninterested expression on and tapped his finger.

Riley raised his eyebrow shocked at what Leon suddenly just said "are you serious...? I thought you weren't going to those. You know drinking and people. Lots of people" he nodded very confused at his sudden change of heart

He makes an uncomfortable face and slowly nods. "I have to get out of my shell there's more than books." he looked away. He really didn't want to go but he cant be shy if he want to be a professor. "Best to have fun now than later....j..just say yes so I cant back out later." He said with anger in his voice not enough to scare him just to make him agree.

Right now he was sort of in a crossroads. The fact that Leon wanted him to make him go meant he probably wasn't going to enjoy himself there but maybe there was a chance he could. He sat there in silence for a moment before nodding surprised as to how he acted it wasn't the usual Leon. "Alright... We'll go, but tell me when you want to leave and we'll leave"

Leon nods and stands up. "Come on...." he grabs his hat and puts it on. "I saw a book store on our way hear. Can we stop by?" He asked as he waited patently. If he was going to a frat arty he would like to read before they go so he wont be a total buzz kill. He bit his lip cutely to make him say yes.

Riley stood up gathering his things and piling the trash onto the tray. He looked at Leon and sighed with a smile, how was he supposed to say no to that face? He gave Leon a nod "to the book store it is" he stuck his hands in hi pocket, now that he was living with him and stuff keeping this secret was going to be a challenge.

He gave a light smile, a rare thing. They headed out, walking the quiet streets. He looked around for a sign and sees some cars driving hom and the club that Riley was talking about. It was down an ally way, Riley watches way to much horror movies about people getting killed, raped or Kidnapped in ally ways. He shivered but he lets out a sigh walking up to the book store. "Finally." he mumbled and walked in. The book keeper greeted them and he said his hellos and walked through the pillars to look at the books.

Riley stopped for a moments in front of the club. As the door opened to let someone out he got a taste of the music. He looked back forward seeing Leon ahead of him and jogged to make up the distance. When they walked inside he moved some hair out of his face and looked around "maybe I might just get a book" he nodded and wandered through the shelves

He heard Riley's words. "I thought you said and i quote, 'Books are for fore eyes now pass me the pickle jar.' "He chuckled but only to himself grabbing two books and looked at them reading the backs and puts one way and goes to find Riley. Leon Leaned on a pillar that was in the shelf that he was in.

Riley chuckled and shrugged as he pulled out a few books looking at them and putting them back and pulling out another on "well we're in college now, a lot of changes are going to be happening" he glanced at him and then back to the books "what did you pick out?"

He looked down at his book "The collectors book of Sherlock Holmes." he waved the book before putting his arm down. Curious he walked over and looked at what he's looking at. "Yea there will be changes, lets just hope there good." he taped his shoulder. "ll wait outside." He walked and payed for his book then walked out feeling the cold air on his skin. He looked and sees people walking out of the ally way drunk and laughing loudly. He can hear the music from hear. Imagine how loud it is inside.

Riley nodded and put the books away after a while. He couldn't quiet find one hat sparked his tastes. He shoved his hands back in his pockets and walked outside. Feeling the cold he popped his collar and looked at Leon "so frat party time now right?" He smiled a little

He looked at him biting his lip and slowly nod. "I guess so...." He looked up at him and holds his hand out away from them. "Lead the way." Then he began to follow his friend. A frat party, his first one. He know for sure he was going to get drugged. People like him, the shy ones, always get drugged. He looked at Riley. "Watch me ok?" he mumbled softly but being friends with Riley he heard him.

Riley walked in the direction of the campus,now hen he heard Leon mumbled he looked at him giving him a reassuring smile "I won't let them do anything to you" he promised looking back forward and stepping past the gate. He smiled a little bigger when he saw a group of students head towards the Greek part of the campus and a faint pounding of music can be heard "and remember what I said before, tell me when you want to leave"

He heard the music and lets a sigh out. "Lets go party." He looked at him and nods walking too the Greek's fraternity house. Loud music was playing and was hurting his ears he shakes his head and sees two senors looking at them.

Riley gave the seniors a nod and looked at Leon "come on, the trick is not to look like a freshman" he chuckled lightly and went inside the pounding music not affecting him all to much since he was used to music of this volume. The first thing he scouted out was the drinks table

He tried to look cool. Easy for riley to say, he is short he could pass for a freshman in high school. He looked around and lost sight of him. He started to panic but sees him getting drinks then began to calm down. He stayed in his spot and a girl came up to him and gives him a kiss slipping something in his mouth. Leon froze and blushed hard when the girl giggled and whispered in his ear "Have fun."

Riley looked around for his friend and found him standing over by the wall. He walked over to him with toe glasses in his hand one with a beer and one with soda. He handed him the soda and took a sip of his beer "see? It isn't too bad. Girls are all over you" he laughed a little half heartedly a little disappointed he would let a girl just come up and kiss him.

He looked away taking the soda and drinks it. "She came on to me. To be honest I didn't see her till she kissed me." He growled under his breath having his first kiss taken like that. He looked up at his friend seeing him drink his beer. Sighing he grabs his friends drink and pores a little bit in the soda and hands him his drink back. He looked at him seeing the suprised look on his face. ".....What?" He said drinking it making a sour face.

"Nothing it's just..." Riley smirked a little bit "you never drink" he nodded still surprised, he looked down at his glass and then back up at him seeing him cringe "it's a bit of an acquired taste, now why did you out it in your drink" he raised his eyebrow
