Fantasy Gothic Fantasy RP set in Victorian Era?

Hello everyone,
I know this is a very niche idea, but I hope that someone might be interested in creating an RP with me that is inspired by the show "Penny Dreadful?"

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the show, the premise is gothic fiction, and the setting would take place in the Victorian period of London, in the 19th century. The plot of the RP would be intricately woven tales of werewolves, vampires, ghosts, Dr. Frankenstein, witches, gunslingers from the west, and even Jack the Ripper. All connected to the overarching political plotline of industrial Europe, where revolutionary advances in the sciences clashed heavily with society's pre established faith and belief systems.

I have been craving to write my own character in a dark fiction story with myths and magic and the occult, all tied together with themes of a transforming society. I hope someone would be willing to help me satiate my muse.

You can think of the RP as being similar to Game of Thrones, but less medieval and much more macabre and Shakespearean. The society of 19th century London was based around strong social changes, and the spread of political movements like socialism, liberalism, and organized feminism. The plot of the RP would definitely dabble in those.

The RP would be intended for mature participants, since it would sometimes involve graphic subjects. Without breaking the rules of the site, of course. Just for clarity though, the RP's main focus would be the elements of fantasy, and you would be welcome to make your character a human or a monster, or something in-between.

I consider myself a writer of dark fantasy, and if anyone else shares my passion and would be interested in participating with me, please feel free to DM!

There will be an ooc on RPN as well. You don't have to use Discord if you you prefer to stay on the site. I hope that helps to clarify a bit better.

Yes I'm currently working on the details of my character's backstory and profile, as well as the RP's aesthetic (I'm trying to reteach myself how to bbc code but I might need some help), and then I'll have to make the opening post. There's a lot that will be going into the creation of the RP, and I really don't wanna be lazy about it. I would like to ask everyone to be as patient as possible with me during this process, and I would of course accept any help that is offered. I unfortunately don't have a specific time frame that I can give you guys of when the RP will start, but I just want you guys to know that it is "in progress!"

Thank you for your interest in the RP! Its been an ongoing wip for a while, but things are nearly finished. I had another person who asked me if they could join recently, as well.
