Backstory: Talon joined the Army when he was 17, with his mother's permission. When he was away, she died of cancer, leaving him alone. He didn't hesitate to renew his term without any hesitation, avoiding his mother's funeral and all mention of her death. He detached himself completely. But after a few months, he got a letter from her, that she had written before she died. Reading it told him about his father, and about Camp Half-Blood. After his term was finished, he went to the camp, and stayed.


Personality: Distant, hard to get along with, very distrusting, explosive.


Secrets: He hasn't told anyone about his mother, and doesn't advertise his time in the Army. That being said, he does wear his dogtags everywhere he goes.

One word that describes Max Steel? Badass. She's tall, 5'8''. She's thin and yet still very curvy and incredibly attractive. She has brown hair with blonde in it, and blue eyes that are a little bit misty. She never wears perfume, but always has a light flowery fragrance, like her mother. She does have a few tattoos, including a snake that curls around her left arm, a bat on the back of her right shoulder, and a double crossed torch on the front of her right wrist.

Backstory: Max was born in Florida, to a goddess and a British man named Jackson Steel. He knew who the mother of his child was, and told Max the second she was old enough to know what it meant. She instantly knew that she was special, and that she was powerful. She was sent to Camp Half-Blood when she was 6 for the summer, but when she was 10, her father was killed during a robbery gone wrong, and she ended up staying at Camp year round.


Personality: Again, one word. Badass. She's confident, snarky, sarcastic, willing to fight anyone who insults her, insults other people in a joking way that even they can't help but laugh at.


Secrets: She worships no god except Hecate herself, but respects the others.

Emma, due to her Godly parent, Has a strong affinity over the Mist. She can easily illusion mortals. But her abilities to illusion Demigods are lacking, she can only illusion about 3-6 depending on the time of day. She can't illusion the Sons or daughters of any of the Big three or any children of gods that reside inside of the underworld .Her illusions can be broken if the small 'glitches' in them are found.

Strengths
Emma's abilities are strong enough to get her out of most situation. If needed her instincts kick and she will run away as fast as she can. She was a gymnast when she was in Ireland, but that was a few years ago.

Backstory
When Emma was born her custody was given to her father ,Her mother had left shortly after she gave birth to her. After her mother left them her father became slightly overprotective of her, knowing fully of the dangers of monsters and other demigods.

No major incidents happed in the 14 years that she grew up in Ireland, her father grew a pair and moved them both to New York at the age of 15 soon attended The Dalton private highschool, where she meet a few of her best friends. After long she quickly started to develop her Demogod abilities, her control over the Mist grew so quickly that she was targeted by a monster in her second year of Highschool. This is around the time that she met some one who she thought was a normal mortal, but with the luck of the gods was on her side and it turned out he was the son of Khione. With his help they were able to slay the monster, this was the final straw for her father. Despite his previous thoughts he sent her away to Camp half blood.

Personality
Emma is one of those girls to get hot headed fairly quickly when the wrong buttons are pushed. This demigod does not hold back on her words unless it was someone important like a God. When with friends she's a little more open and tends to joke around and have fun. Though if she's really close with her friend(s) she will be more open and is almost a complete different person. She's kind and sweet with them and really doesnt get that angry unless laughed at. With strangers, she's a lot more guarded and rough. Tends to be far more stubborn then if she knew the person.

Sexuality: Homosexual, although she's in denial about it and tries to date guys. It just never seems to work out for... well, obvious reasons.


Appearance: About 5'9", 140lbs, she is lean and fairly muscular. She tends to wear tank tops and shorts, and has a necklace that she always wears in the design of a pair of wings, a gift from her mother.


Godly Powers: Never say die: As a daughter of Nike, she has the ability to enhance her determination for victory, enabling her to push herself past the limits of her body in order to defeat her opponents, and ignoring all injuries that she may sustain.


The downside of this is that while she gains the ability to push through pain, any injuries sustained are still present, and do her damage. This means she could get herself killed or badly injured without even realising it. Once the ability wears off, she will feel all the damage she has taken in battle.


Enhanced strength: She has a very slight boost to her natural strength, but she can't do anything a particularly strong mortal or demigod couldn't.

Backstory: The daughter of a wealthy lawyer, she grew up with a lot of pressure on her to be the best in everything she did. She wasn't given time for anything other than striving to be successful, her father's expectations that she be the best in everything she did dictating her social life.


She never really wanted for anything, but found herself growing distant from other people, not getting close to people because she never had time to just hang out or chat. As her courses got more difficult, she was pushed harder and harder to improve. She wasn't ever congratulated when she brought home straight A's, or won a sports competition - it was just an expectation, not something to be rewarded. The only time that her dad would ever pay attention was just to disapprove if she did anything that wasn't perfect.


She was picked up by one of Camp Half-Blood's satyrs, who she saw in the middle of escorting another demigod to the camp. He caught her staring, understandably freaked out by the guy with goat legs. Before he could explain, they were ambushed by monsters, and she was forced to flee,the original kid not making it.


Her father cut off contact with her, but she found a new family at Camp Half-Blood, and was claimed by her mother a few months later, on her twelfth birthday.


Personality: Katy is a perfectionist, always striving to be the best in everything she does. Partly as a result of her strict upbringing, and partly because of her godly parentage, she can't really deal with being second-best. This can make her a bit over-competitive, and leads some people to dislike her.


She's quite a disciplined person, never really disobeying rules if she can help it, although she secretly admires those that do. Not that she'd ever admit it, of course. If asked, she'd say they were just shirking their responsibilities, but if any of them ever thought to invite her, she'd probably join in.


While she appears confident to the rest of the campers, deep down she's very critical of her own actions, beating herself up over every little mistake. She's also quite thin-skinned and easy to rile up, mostly because of this insecurity. She's far more likely to go out of her way to start a fight than avoid one.


Underneath it all, though, she's a dependable friend and team-mate, who will go out of her way to protect others and doesn't think twice about marching head-on into danger. If someone managed to take her down, she's the kind of person that would walk back from the Underworld just so she could take them down with her.


Secrets: She refuses to admit to anyone that she's attracted to girls, mostly because she feels that she has to be the picture-perfect example for others to follow. While it doesn't necessarily clash with that, her father's influence lead her to believe it does.


She pretends that she's completely confident and happy with herself, but worries about people discovering that she's just really scared of failing.

@Play On Words I worded that kind of badly. It doesn't get rid of the pain completely, it just kind of forces her to ignore it and focus on the victory. Her body's still in some way aware of the injury, so there's definitely a limit to how much she can take. Once she passes that, she's basically left completely unable to fight.

Okay. Just, in combat situations, remember to bring in things like blood loss to also weaken her. Aside from that, accepted.

Backstory: Rorik has been alone for most his life, and likes that. Rorik first spoke to his father, when he killed his first monster at age nine. Thanatos gifted him with the spear, and they haven't spoken since. He has been in multiple conflicts, and proved himself to be a skilled fighter. Despite his age and heritage, he chose to not stay at Camp Half-Blood. Instead travels on his own across the land. Right now, however, he is at Camp Half-Blood. The reason for this is he was badly wounded by a large monster, and needed somewhere safe to stay. Soon, he may decide to leave.


Fears: Doesn't want to stay in one place for too long, and fears that if he does, he will become emotional and kinder. Rorik also fears that one day he may turn too cold and monstrous, and that he would hurt innocents.


Weaknesses: Very proud, this serves as a liability at times. He also hates to work in large groups, it makes him uncomfortable.


Strengths: Strong, fast and skilled with his spear and his power. Strategic mind, he likes to attack where his enemy is weakest, but his pride can sometime get in the way.


Goal: Rorik just aims for survival, but likes to be around when interesting things happen.

Backstory

Seth never really expected to be anything other than a completely regular teenager with completely regular problems. He isn't sure how it happened,but one day his main concern stopped being learning about the costumes of his mother's people and became fighting monsters to stay alive.




His older brother was the person who he usually ran off to get advice or simply support. He felt that as long as Caleb was alive,he could stay firm.


That is why the sudden death of his older brother devastated him so much. He had a common,human death. But still,his mother blamed him for it. Seth didn't feel any point in staying at his home anymore,as he wasn't welcome in there. So he ran away to the Camp,knowing that it was a place where people like him could finally find themselves.


It was a difficult journey,and one he would rather not remember. He joined a group of demigods in his way there,but he and another Hermes camper where the only ones to survive.


As soon as his foot touched the ground of the Camp,a Hammer of War appeared above his head. He was claimed. And Seth was a son of the God of War.


I didn't matter much to him at the time. His mother taught him about her own gods,and those were very different from the Greek ones. Still,he struggled to know more about the man responsible for his life. Even so Seth's original culture never really left him.


Life as a Demigod was tough,but so was Seth. He struggled against the hardships in the only way he knew: with a big smile upon his face.


Personality


Seth is not exactly what most people would expect of an Ares camper. Beyond anything,he is a completely carefree person. It's very hard to get under his skin,and you will find him laughing more often than not. Not only that,but he is a pacifist. He would prefer to solve things through dialogue instead of open fighting.


Of course,Seth wasn't always this nice guy. Like most sons of Ares,he was born as a complete selsish kid. Not only that,he was overconfident to the point where he was an asshole. Only the death of his brother made him realize how much was wrong about his life,and he decided to struggle to change himself and be more like Caleb.


Even particularly grump people seem to have their moods improved when Seth is around. He is extremely friendly,making friendships with the blink of an eye and usually being able to maintain them for a long time.


It's hard not to like Seth,and he is aware of that. He usually keeps his own concerns to himself,allowing other people to open up instead. This means that he keeps a lot of things inside his heart,but he doesn't seem to realize that.


Seth doesn't like one nighters and quick relationships. He will playfully flirt with people from time to time,but not take it forward unless he feels like the relationship will actually last.

Seth had been driving the car when his brother died. He was underage and tired,but he still agreed to take the car home. Up to this day,he still blames himself for the slip that killed the person he most loved in the world.

There is a reason for Kaya to be mostly shielded to Death,and that isn't her relation with Thanatos. She truth is that everyone around Kaya has simply died or left without giving any clues of where they went and how to reach them once more.


Kaya had a mostly regular life before she found out about her powers,although her household was completely dysfunctional already. Her mother and stepfather were both junkies,spending more time on the streets than in their actual house. She tried to shield her young brother from the constant beatings,which meant that most of the violence was turned towards her instead. But she could take it,as long as little Elliot was safe from that fate.


But eventually she grew up,and her power began to grow as well. In a dangerous,uncontrollable manner. That only made the beatings happen more often,but Kaya was beyond useful to it. She had more bruises from her parents than from the monster,until the day when Thanatos contacted her and finally explained to Kaya why she was so different from every person around her. As soon as Kaya understood her powers,she took a decision that would end any kind of normality that her life still had: she turned towards her parents and allowed the dead to drag them towards the Underworld.


Social services eventually found out about the death of their parents,although they couldn't find a trace of any crime. Her brother was eventually adopted,and Kaya allowed him to go. She couldn't raise him in her current state where she would more harm than good to him. Of course,no one wanted the kid with the weirdly dead eyes. So she eventually simply fled the orphanage,living by herself in the streets of Cali.


Those were years that Kaya would prefer to not talk about. Life is hard when you don't have anyone by your side,specially for someone like her. She spent her time drinking,stealing and fighting off monsters that kept finding her no matter how long she fled. Her hate for the Gods and the life they gave her only grew,up to the point where she couldn't even hear a word about Greece without cringing. But Camp Half-blood was another story.


To put it plain and simply: Kaya wanted to die. And she wasn't brave enough to end her own life. So she decided to go to Camp and simply wait until a mission was assigned to her. At least in this way she would throw her life away at something important,and maybe the ghosts of her past would stop tormenting her.


Personality

Kaya is the antisocial type and she makes no apology about this fact. Interacting with people makes her tired and she would rather stay far away from them if that was possible. She usually gives no fucks about anything happening around her,acting with either apathy or sarcasm. It's hard to affect Kaya's temper,mostly because she never cares for long enough to lose it.


It's hard for Kaya to make friendships,mostly because she loses interest pretty fast. The friendships she does have usually take time to reach her full confidence,mostly because she can't trust people easily.


Her depression or bipolar disorder hasn't been diagnosed,but it doesn't take a genius to realize that Kaya has those problems. Still,she doesn't care enough to even try and search for help.


Kaya doesn't speak much,mostly because sometimes she will pay more attention to the dead talking around her than to the living people.

A dagger materialised in front of her, and Lyra heard the voice of a woman saying: "I claim you as my daughter..." A symbol appeared above her, and her father just arrived to see it.


He told her about her mother, and how it was too dangerous for her to stay now. She was sent to Camp Half-Blood without incident, and made herself comfortable. She greatly enjoyed meeting new people as she moved into her new home


Strengths: Many people or creatures don't want to hurt her, so she is much less a target for monster attacks. Being such a nice person drives others to help or protect her. Though she is a kind person, she will kill monsters if she has no choice. Skilled enough with a dagger. Lyra can raise the spirits of friends, and can even calm people filled with rage most of the time, preventing conflicts within Camp Half-Blood.


Weaknesses: Sometimes, she can't bring herself to kill even a monster. Not so good in a brawl, the only weapon she can use skilfully is a dagger.
