The Pun Tyrant
Were the homebrew classes accepted?
I can't speak for Ian Temero 's since I have no clue about it, but mine was accepted (with an agreement that tweaks can be made during the game if something proves too imbalanced, which is fine since one of my goals in playing it is playtesting).
What do they entail/what are they?
My homebrew class is the Chimera. It's a martial class representing a character that fights using the power of their own body and its unique characteristics. Where other classes hone their body or their skills, this class instinctively uses a modified or evolving body as the source of their power, specializing in using their body alone - such as by the use of unarmored defense and natural weapons. The class's core feature is called monstrous alterations. They have different slots representing different parts of their body, and at certain level they can add a monstrous alteration to an unnocupied slot. An alteration might give them a tail that makes them more dexterous, it might turn their feet into soft paws that reduce the sound of their steps, or imbue their arms with an elemental nature to reinforce their attacks.
I'm not 100% sure which Mutagenic Purpose (AKA subclass) I am going to take for this one yet. Specifically I haven't totally committed to either Natural Hybrid or Arcane Aberration, but I am leaning towards the latter. The Arcane Aberration is the half caster subclass of the Chimera, which allows the chimera to put spells in the slots of monstrous alterations when they would get one. They also have a feature that lets them charge up a magical blast, using points which accumulate when spells are cast near them.
