Kera Aetos
Kera continued her charge, Zane had finally fallen victim to Harmonia's charm it seemed, but she could snap him out of it within time, but first... The girl was foolish enough to approach, perhaps she felt confident enough to test her abilities upon the daughter of Zeus? "Heh." Kera smiled as she thought the girl's plan over, love was simply an emotion, and not one she held to a high regard when compared to passion, her passion for success. As her spear reared down, moving to strike upward toward Harmonia's core, yet something cut deep into her attention, the ground starting to shake.
"Zane! No!" She attempted to command, but the boy seemed too far gone, her sudden lapse in attention allowing Harmonia to grab her, dragging them both down into the ground. Without hesitation, Kera began pounding at the top of the soil above them. "That idiot!..." She mumbled in frustration, pushing Harmonia from her side. Each time her fists struck, a bout of light seemed to erupt, and between shock-waves, she responded to her opponent. "I... Don't... Care!" She impatiently acknowledged, her mind still far too focused on winning the game at hand. It went on for minutes, her knuckles beginning to bleed as she forced herself from their prison, and just as she began to see the light... The game was over. It was disappointing, she had yet to prove herself, but she could not dwell on it, instead preparing for their next class.
SIM
Now this was a class where she knew she could flourish, ruling over mortals had been her dream since learning of who she truly was. Those she used to live among would now rely on her, and those that denied her would meet her wrath. Kera resided in the temple of Zeus, watching over the people, changing the seasons as needed, watching over the well-fair of their communities. As time passed, however, it became more and more clear that the problems were not to lye with said mortals, but with the gods who were to overlook them. Kera had failed to realise her most important responsibility, too distracted by her own power over imaginary beings, she was too late to resolve the conflicts caused by the other gods, those whom she was supposed to keep in line. As the world was destroyed, Kera could only watch, already half-way down toward the surface to attempt to fix their problems, the failure flashed before her eyes. "I will not let this happen again." Kera told herself, her voice confident, yet clearly full of shame, knowing all too well that the gods would be watching their mistakes, and in her mind, hers being the greatest of them all.
Present
Kera had little interest in a free period, and took it simply as a chance to get to know more of the to-be gods. As she strolled the halls, she noticed the dorm of a goddess she had yet to meet, but one of great importance. Hera, the goddess of family, childbirth, marriage, and the partner of Zeus in legend. Kera was not one to mull over romance, but still, there were still many demigods she was yet to meet, and there was no need to waste more time.
Knocking on the door, Kera slowly opened it. "Elizabeth, right? I don't think we've met, I am the chosen of Zeus, Kera Aeto..." Kera's voice proudly questioned, her staunch face held high slowly moving to peek within, though the girl did not exactly look in the mood for conversation. Kera's mind drifted back, she had noticed all of the work the girl had put in to the simulation, only to be ruined by the actions of others. As their faces finally met, Kera's expression dropped slightly, her eyes moving toward the floor for a moment in shame, before moving up toward the girl. "Your deeds over the lesson were impressive... I apologise for what happened." She noted, with a slight sigh, her voice perhaps for the first time in a while no longer boomed, almost drowning toward a whisper. "It was my fault, the other gods needed my guidance, and I simply was not there." Kera noted, her tone apologetic, looking into the chosen of Hera's eyes, before breaking contact, looking back out toward the hall.
No. Who was she to grovel in sadness? Apologies meant nothing, she had to press forward, not dwell on her mistakes. Once more, Kera stood tall, looking back into Elizabeth's eyes. "Have no mistake, my failures will be atoned, for you, and the other chosen." Her voice announced, slightly booming once more, a serious expression painting her face.
