Sherri kept the golden card and her wallet in her jacket's pocket, so she didn't need to go back into the room and grab it. She was a bit surprised by Zoe's claim, taking a look at her clothes. "You look great to me. I love the messy look on you." She said this defensively, almost as if it were her own fashion sense that was denounced. She started flipping the card between her fingers, watching it move slowly over her knuckles as she took care not to drop it. Her hand was shaking a little too much today, so she had to give up though. On the way to the portal, she had a sudden thought that definitely needed an answer. "Come to think of it, it's probably a far off event, but when's your birthday?" It'll be good to know if I need to sneak anything by at the mall. I definitely should get Nika something to apologize for killing her so many times... Sherri's shoulders slumped as she realized that she'd done a lot of unearned injustices to Nika.

Yarra's initial disinterest had been replace with pleasant surprise. She'd been worried her roommate would be the sort to make noise often and, honestly be the quite the idiot. When she'd found her with a work, she was curious but her expectations were still low. But after the girl introduced herself, Blake, Yarra was admittedly impressed and surprised to find it already seemed the two were similar in a few ways. Her eyes glanced over to the cover of the book Blake had been reading for a brief moment, remarking on the title, before her gaze flicked back to Blake. A more genuine and pleased smiled crossed Yarra's face. The girl was dressed nicely, albeit in a suit, the only thing she'd complain about, but it seemed to fit the air she had about her. And she was ever so polite.

"Oh, yes, I've been busying myself quite a bit since I arrived here. Unfortunately that meant I haven't retired to bed until late at night. I apologize if that has caused you any trouble."

As it turned out, Yarra believed she would actually enjoy having this girl around. But Yarra's mood was ever so flippant. Tomorrow it was possible she would find a reason to hate her. For now, Blake had earned respect in her book, something pretty rare for most people.

"I do enjoy tea. Were you offering to make some? Or shall I?"

Aya strode into the cafeteria, eyes closed and slothing about as usual. However this time, instead of appearing well rested, vague circles etched the underside of her eyes, making her appear exhausted. It was clear the toll the simulation had had on her, and despite being rather thoughtless for the most part, one thought kept circling around her mind since. If those terrible feelings were what she had to look forward to as a true goddess, should she still even be here? Everything was pleasant previously. She could visit dreams, weave them, understand them without consequence. But now....

Aya grabbed an entire cheesecake and a fork and knife, and, out of all of the places to sit, inadvertently chose one with someone there. She sat across from a girl eating chicken and pizza. Aya looked up at, regarding her curiously before she forked a piece of cheesecake into her mouth directly from the center. After a few moments of eating cheesecake pieces from various places on the cake incredibly slowly, making it appear more like swiss cheesecake, she finally spoke.

"Hello... Tyche..."

Sameal went through the obvious challenge of the whole “fear thing” as a breeze. Being the egotistical man he was, Sameal feared nothing as he though he could do anything. Appearing near the tree there after, Sameal saw him. Immediately, Sameal became to race after him.
Lucifer walked out of the class after he was portaled out. Of course, he payed no attention to what happened in there. Everyone’s inexperience was caused by their lack of experience in thier powers. A few minuets after walking towards the rooms, Lucifer noticed a new person arriving. To his surprise though, he came through. With him running towards Lucifer, Lucifer smirked as he opened his arms to this man. Catching him, Lucifer kisses him softly. “Welcome, honey. I’ll be assuming you’ll stay with me?” He nodded quickly, even though Lucifer started to bring him along knowing the answer already. Arriving at the room, Lucifer collapses onto the bed. “We can go shopping in a few. I’m too tired to function right now anyway. Go ahead and explore however.”
Sameal quickly says “Okay” before heading out of the room, while noting where it is for later, and wanders around the camp. Remembering that Lucifer came from a certain direction, Sameal went that way certain to run into someone.

"Six months? ... Ah." Crystal had actually forgotten about that bit of mythology... History? Not really holding them to the rules set up by previous gods and goddesses. "You only have to stay there for four months, and that's only if we're being held to the arrangements of previous gods. And if we were, we'd be..." Crystal trailed off, looked at Jasmine with a faltering step in her walking pace, and then started on a different topic with a slight blush. "The underworld isn't all that bad, contrary to what you'd think... I didn't see much of the palace, but I'd imagine there's a courtyard with a garden somewhere left by a previous Persephone, and other than the sections dedicated to punishing sinners it's reminiscent of a park, with villas full of food and chatting souls and forests just a few steps off the path." Crystal knew nearly everything that went on in her domain, so even though she hadn't been able to look around she was able to get a good grasp of the underworld for the brief time she was there. "I can see how it gets lonely with only a few gods living there, but it is beautiful as long as you know where and how to look."

Zoe smiled when Sherri said she liked the little fashion she felt she had. "I like your fashion sense too." They walked in silence for awhile and Zoe kept thinking of what she should get Sherri. What says I love you and I don't care what you have to tell me but are afraid to tell me as long as you don't have a secret girlfriend waiting for you at home or something? A diamond? It DOES shine so brightly even after a ton of pressure. Sherri does like the color purple though. I could possibly get her like an Onyx? Her thoughts were happily interrupted when Sherri asked her when her birthday was. She was confused by the question. It seemed to have come from no where. "Come to think of it, huh? What do you have going on in that brain of yours? To be honest, I don't really CELEBRATE my birthday? It's been a few years since I have done anything for it." She thought about it for a second. "Were in August. There seems to be another five months left before my birthday... Yours?"

Jasmine watched Crystal falter and sidestep the situation of the six months thing. She was kind of confused. Wasn't it OBVIOUS we are probably going to get married? Or at least stuck together for a few months with each others company? Things are BOUND to happen. She also remembered her speech with her Persephone. She was promised to see her mother while she was down in the underworld too. To be able to talk to her and spend time with her. "My understanding is that we WILL be held to the arrangements of previous gods. That's what Persephone told me." Jasmine allowed the situation to change tho. "When do you think I can check out the underworld? If I am to live down there for half of my immortal life I would to know what I am getting myself into." Honestly, she wanted to see the underworld and check for this garden that other Persephone's have probably made but she REALLY would like to see her mom too. The sooner she saw the underworld the sooner she expected to be able to see her mother- but she wasn't about to tell Crystal that.

Harmonia smiled sheepishly at Gideon. She was tempted to hold his hand or wrap her arm around his as if he was her knight in shining armor but decided against both. Now that they were out of the simulation the connection was still there but she wanted to make sure that this was REAL and the best way to do that was to keep her pheromones slightly distant from him and make sure he liked her for HER not her Aphrodite powers like so many others. I think that's what's messed me up. You try being kidnapped as a baby and later having one main boyfriend that wanted to use you to kill your family and everyone you loved. Hmph. Being born with two God parents is NOT easy. She walked out of the room telling the voice in her head to SHUSH. On the way to the walk to the cafeteria she was feeling more normal and at peace. It was like Gideon had a calming effect on her. I wonder if this is what Mama feels with Daddy. She remembered her father would say there is a mix of passion and lust but mainly a comforting and calming effect when you are TRULY in love. There is a way of being that is just different when you are with that ONE person versus anyone else. She looked at Gideon with curiosity and asked "Have you ever been in love?" After she blurted it out she kinda wanted to facepalm with embarrassment but decided to hang in there. She WAS an Aphrodite chosen so it was a normal question she's asked plenty of times. This time it feels different tho...

As they traveled to the Cafeteria Gideon couldn’t help but notice how distant Harmonia had become. His mind went into overdrive thinking and overthinking things. Did he do something wrong? Did she think what happened in the simulation was a mistake? Did he take advantage of a poor vulnerable girl in her darkest moment? So many questions swirled around in Gideon’s mind until Harmonia suddenly turned to him as they stood outside the cafeteria. She asked if he had ever been in love. A fair question to ask if they were going to proceed with... whatever this was. Especially considering her position as an Aphrodite chosen. “ There was a girl who was nice and kind to me. I admired her bravery and compassion, but nothing more. She’s an old friend now. As you might guess getting too close to me can be... a problem. You are the first person I’ve.... never mind.”
Gideon said sheepishly trying to stop himself from revealing a long held truth. Though his body was more honest than he as he began to glow and heat up.
jj9095 jj9095

Harmonia put one hand on his arm. "We have both opened up to each other. It's okay. Please continue your sentence." She smiled at him sending him a different type of warmth. A kind of compassion and love through her and towards him. His body heating us wasn't a problem to her. She honestly kinda liked it.
St. Boethius St. Boethius

Gideon cleared his throat and prepared himself, “you’re the first person I’ve ever felt like this for. The first I’ve.... ever.....” Gideon’s voice trailed off as he still didn’t want to admit to her that she was his first kiss. That he had absolutely no idea what he was doing. In his attempt to dodge the question Gideon noticed a portal in the cafeteria. “ Would you look at that I wonder where it goes let’s go see shall we?” Gideon asked literally almost walking through the door in his attempt to not confront the topic at hand. Gideon knew much like back on Olympus all it would take is a word from Harmonia and everything would come spilling for. While he didn’t want to alienate her but he was still afraid of being completely bare before her. (Yep, those were on purpose),
jj9095 jj9095

Harmonia smiled at Gideon and could tell he was avoiding this conversation but she put her hand on his arm again. "Gideon. This is honestly the first time I have felt like this too. I don't know what it is about you yet but... I don't mind the scar on your face. I don't mind your robotic legs- although I do wish to know the story of who or what did that to you in case I can chop off their arms." She squeezed her hand a little on his arm proving she was mainly joking... kinda. "If you want to drop it we can. I will happily go into the portal with you and see where it leads." She dropped her hand from his arm but made sure to pass her fingers down his arm first showing how she felt for him already. She breathed in and walked towards the portal not wanting to push him.
St. Boethius St. Boethius

Gideon sighed and took Harmonias hands into his own stopping her for a moment. As much as he wanted to run he knew he couldn’t. Not in the face of such kindness and understanding . “ you... are the first person I’ve kissed. I have absolutely no experience in... your realm. You know, historically Hephaestus has been known as a... quick shot. It’s always been a fear... “ Gideon cleared his throat. This was neither the time or place to be talking about THAT. “ My burn was caused my father. My divine blood had yet to activate I guess you could say. It served as the catalyst. As for my legs. There’s no one to blame but the Fates. It was an accident. A car crushed them while I was working on it... there you are. That’s... me.”
jj9095 jj9095

Harmonia kissed him again. "Then I have been the second, and third kiss of yours as well." She smiled at him trying to lighten the mood. "I think it is a constant fate for Hephaestus's to have some sort of problem with their legs. Have you talked to-"

Harmonia paused as she saw Zoey. "Zoe! I was just about to mention you. I believe you and Gideon have met." She noticed her hand was still in his and squeezed his a little kind of liking the fact they were holding hands. She put her chin up proudly. "I know you are an EXPERT when it comes to robotics and technological innoventions- have you and Gideon talked about updating his legs?" She looked at Gideon quickly "Only if you want to of course. They are perfect the way they are."

Zoe watched Harmonia carefully. She can tell Harmonia liked Gideon, and not JUST because of their hand holding. She better not hurt him. I am already distrustful of her. I swear I will kill her. Zoe put on her smile before she gets hit on the head again by Sherri. "Yes, Gideon is a friend of mine and Sherri's. We had made plans to update his legs but have had some difficulties coming to a certain schedule of WHEN we can." She looked at Sherri and back to Gideon. "I don't expect our shopping to take that long I can meet up with you after, Gideon?"

"SHOPPING?" Harmonia jumped up and down excited. "Can I go? Can I go? Zoe, I know JUST the swimsuit that would look good on you! Can I go with Sherri? It will give you and Gideon more time to work on his new legs and get some rest. I will have Sherri back in the jiffy! Please?" Harmonia put on her best puppy face.

Zoe watched Harmonia and heard a huge alarm in her head saying WARNING! WARNING! She looked at Sherri to make the final decision. "Sherri, it depends on you. What would you prefer?" She trusted Sherri to not cheat on her and it looked like Harmonia liked Gideon enough. It seemed safe enough to let them go off and she DID want to work on Gideon's legs for awhile but she also wanted to get a necklace for Sherri... She was torn so she decided to give her partner in crime the opportunity to decide.

Sherri blinked, a little shocked. "Birthdays and Christmas are about the only times I go shopping normally, so it struck a chord in my memory. Still, to not celebrate yours... You live the dream life. My family forced me to celebrate mine. It's May 14th." She started wondering whether or not she should get anything for Zoe's birthday in particular. She knew that a lot of people that didn't celebrate their birthdays also didn't like receiving gifts for their birthdays. Honestly, she had a lot of questions about gifts, like if the ones bought with money really meant anything now that they had infinite money. When thinking about it though, she thought that she'd like most anything Zoe bought her or made her, and she hoped that the feeling was mutual since she didn't really have faith in her ability to make anything.

When they were about to reach the cafeteria they bumped into Gideon and Harmonia, the two holding hands. Sherri gave a silent mental cheer for the two, and she let Zoe talk as she thought about lots and lots of things that were running through her mind. Her opinion was asked though, and that brought the conversation back to the forefront of her mind. "I mean... I would like to surprise you. And Gideon does need his legs." Sherri indirectly affirmed that she was in favor of going with Harmonia, but she felt like choosing either choice could lead to trouble with the other girl. "Gideon, what do you think? I'm really up for either."

"I'm chosen to be Eirene, the god of peace," Nia replied to serenity's question. She took half a step back and looked the girl over. She looks uhhhhhh... serene. And way too calm. Nia placed her hands behind her back and smiled in a friendly manner. However, she wondered if it would even be possible for the two to get along, herself being so energetic and Serenity being, well, her name.
jj9095 jj9095

Serenity smiled kindly. "The god of peace? Do you believe that to have peace in the world there must be a sense of inner peace within first?" Serenity was a monk for many years. Raised in a temple between two mountains. She studied peace for many years. The idea of MEETING someone that was literally the god of peace intrigued her. Serenity felt like a big piece of her WAS peace but she also felt like Nia was a different peace. She was interested to learn more about Nia and the god of peace itself. Of course, Serenity had her moments of energy and could change her state at any moment herself but she lived more in tranquility. A constant shining light that brings people of joy near her often.

Gideon looked between all of them. Why was it suddenly HIS choice?! Couldn’t any of them decide for themselves?! Gideon gave a mental sigh and rubbed his brow thoughtfully. “ The sooner my legs are upgraded the better. And personally I’d rather have whatever you buy be a surprise.” Gideon said muttering his reference to Harmonia’s swim suit. “ anyway... by all means go, go have fun. I’ll be having my own brand of fun working on these bum legs. Luckily I’ve got a skilled craftswoman to help me out.” Gideon said with a chuckle and a hearty slap to Zoe’s shoulder.

"I mean, probably the next simulation? I don't think we'll be in the real thing until we're gods though." Crystal had no idea of the real reason Jasmine had, so she interpreted her words a bit differently, thinking that Jasmine felt doomed to spend a third of her time in the underworld with her. "You know... I don't want to hold you there if you don't want to be there. And we weren't the ones that made that deal. I'd love the company, but you really shouldn't feel obligated. Nor am I expecting you to marry me. I mean, Ares and Aphrodite broke the rules and precedents, so why can't we?" Though her personal desires went in an opposite direction, she started reasoning out that Jasmine shouldn't feel like she needed to stay in the underworld. It felt criminal to have her bound to her just because of arrangements previous gods made. And, it felt dreadful when she thought of the possibility that Jasmine was only getting along with her because she was Hades. No matter what, she definitely wanted the decisions of the past to not be a factor in her relations and future. If the rules said so and it was impossible then she'd back down, but until she knew that for certain she was definitely going to fight against it.

Harmonia did a fist pump in the air. "YES!" She kissed Gideon on the cheek and wiggled her fingers at Zoe and Gideon. "Have fun!" She grabbed Sherri by the arm, linking them, and walked her towards the portal. "I am so EXCITED! I might just get a new bikini myself." She wiggled her eyebrows at Sherri. "Any idea on what you plan on getting? One piece? Two piece? Scoop top? Push up top? ..." Harmonia kept talking while they entered the other side of the portal.

Zoe watched Harmonia and Sherri leave. To keep her mind off of how THAT was going to go she looked at Gideon. "Ready? Follow me. I started putting pieces together this morning actually." She walked Gideon towards a room full of computers and a 3d printer. Right next to this room was the blacksmith room. Zoe took out a blueprint and a model that she had already created. "So, here is my idea. Your legs should match your skin and look as humanly as possible but still be made of a type of metal that can take a punch from any God, literally. I already tested this metal." She tapped on it. "It's a special metal found around Mount Olympus and Hephaestus himself- your father- uses it often." She showed him the design and explained further. "What do you think?"

Cyon is nice and all but him and I haven't hung out like you and I have." She kicked a rock away from them and had her hands behind her back messing her thumbs. She finally reached the dorms and opened the door for Crystal to walk through. "From my understanding with Persephone is all hell would break loose if I DONT go to the underworld anyways. I'm glad I actually liked you as a person compared to having to deal with someone like Lucifer. We will have to do something to add more bushes down there for sure though."

Nia thought about her question for a moment "uhh... in a way. You definitely should be free of any major demons before you can seek to free others of theirs. However. sometimes the best way to solve your own problems is to help someone else." she told her.
jj9095 jj9095

Serenity nodded at Nia thoughtfully. "Interesting. My mentor once told us a tale of two wolves.

A grandfather is talking with his grandson and he says there are two wolves inside of us which are always at battle.

One is a good wolf which represents things like kindness, bravery, and love. The other is a bad wolf, which represents things like greed, hatred, and fear.

The grandson stops and thinks about it for a second then he looks up at his grandfather and says, “Grandfather, which one wins?”

The grandfather quietly replies, “The one you feed.”

My mentor and sensei also told us to hit the level of enlightenment was the moment that you noticed both wolves in a third person view. Outside of them. Realizing that you are not either. You are not your thoughts. That you just are. THAT is the way he explained the ultimate level of peace and to continue that peace you must serve others. Contribute to the world at large." Serenity started walking and motioned for Nia to follow her. "That is why I chose to accept Pasithea's offer. I wanted to serve the world at large and the best way I saw fit to do that- and the world saw fit for me to do that- was to be a Goddess. So I surrendered." She looked at Nia who seemed to be paying attentively. "What are your thoughts on this, Nia? Do you feel like you have defeated your own demons?"
Duke of Doge Duke of Doge

"I know I still have my demons. I have my good side and my bad side. I think that reaching enlightenment past that would devoid you of all attachment to reality, your emotions, and what makes you human."

"To be a god you need to be human as well, you need to understand the people you rule over. If you become devoid of what makes you human, you become detached from the people who put you there in the first place."

" I definitely think that my good side is way larger than my bad." she let out a breath "My sole purpose in life is to help people, I try my hardest to help as many people as I can how I see fit... and hopefully have some fun along the way."
jj9095 jj9095

Serenity nodded and stayed quiet for a few seconds processing. "Interesting. Thank you for opinion." She was hoping this could possibly be her friend to talk about such large scopes with but it seemed she was not. If she believed that enlightenment DEPRIVED her of her human sign it was rather incorrect but she didn't see a reason to argue. Nia just wasn't at the level she hoped a god of peace would be. "I am glad to hear your good side is larger than your bad. Helping others is an excellent purpose to have in life. It is mine as well." She let go of her expectations she had with Nia and moved back to curiosity with no judgement. "How may we be able to bring fun and serve others in the academy? I have been fully indulged with my own habits and new changes but it is time I looked outward. Any ideas?"

Sherri was a bit taken aback by how close Harmonia was to her, as always, never really used to people being in her personal space. Zoe got an exemption pass as girlfriend, though honestly even Zoe suddenly closing the distance puts her hair on hand. "Well... I don't really know. I just want to make Zoe's eyes pop." She giggled as she thought of the face she wanted Zoe to make. "I think I have decent sizes, so maybe flaunting what I have?" Honestly, she had no clue. The book of Sherri dress-up said keep trying things in the mirror till it looks good. She had no ideas of what the differences between swimsuits were, except for one piece vs two piece. That difference she knew. "Ah, I also need to make another stop other than the swimsuit. It's a good time to do it since Zoe isn't here."

Crystal grinned, glad that Jasmine wasn't opposed to the idea of spending time in the underworld with her. "You know, I think we'll need to get more than just a few bushes to perfectly fight against him." She couldn't help but laugh as she walked through the door Jasmine opened, nodding her head in thanks. "And, please don't understand it like that. I just wasn't sure if you wanted to be there. I like that I have the company of a friend to look forward to, but I don't want you to be forced there against your will. So, what's Cyon like? I haven't actually met him - I haven't met a lot of people, actually."
