Sherri watched Lena and Tera while waiting for Zoe, considering whether to point out the obvious sham. It was pathetic, really. But, ultimately, the one thing that stood true in her heart was that she never played this game to win, just to test out the spells. I don't care if they get the flag and win. There's probably a few sneaky things that Gideon did anyways, and Gideon is pretty strong, so the chances that they manage it are low. She nodded at Zoe's opinion to go right and lead the way, keeping an eye out for reds and the smoking remains of the turrets and robots Nika had destroyed. Sherri felt a bit of fear as she realized that everything got destroyed in the same way; a single wooden spear thrown with herculean strength through the most vital point, utterly destroying each defense's ability to function. I came really close to getting hit like this... "Not a lot of these look salvageable... You still want to try?" Sherri still gave priority to what Zoe wanted to do, even though she wanted to rush towards red right this instant.

Crystal smiled at Jasmine and took the hand while getting up. She gave Jasmine a pat on the back since it seemed she needed it and Crystal wasn't sure if a hug was appropriate, but her mind went straight to business afterwards. "What we should do..." She thought of the travel times and contemplated the probable current positions of everyone, and considered the probable maneuvers all of the known and unknown pieces were taking. "It's almost definite that at least one of the blue attack team pairs has reached our base by now, since Penelope was the only other defender not stationed in the base..." Crystal considered heavily, and then decided on one of the better but more risky paths. "Nika was an attacker right? If we find the path she trail blazed through blue's defenses maybe we'll be able to get to their flag without too many problems. Our defense in the forest has pretty much fully fallen apart with all of your plants burned, so at this rate it probably comes down to who can get the enemy's flag first. Even if we can't we can just head back to the base at the volcano and make a concentrated defense there."

Zoe looked at all the VERY damaged Turrets. She shook her head at Sherri. "They are not salvageable.... I'm proud of you for fighting Nika. You did some real damage." She touched her back lightly but didn't want to hold her hand or hug her in case there was someone watching and she needed both hands for an attack. She didn't want to put Sherri's life in danger. Especially because of her own emotions. "Let's go. Slow job in case anyone is around. We need to be prepared." They jogged and were very aware of their surroundings but no one popped up... She reached the river to find Lucifer, Felix, and Aqua there. "Lucifer! Thanks for keeping that portal open for me. It seemed best for both of us though for me to sacrifice myself. Crystal had me cornered pretty good." She gave Lucifer a quick pat as well. "Aqua, Felix, updates? Anyone cross recently?"

Jasmine nodded at Crystal. "Good call. The plants outside of this radius survived though and they are well hidden. If someone goes through the forest they can still get attacked by some of my babies." She stopped, went to one of the trees that were around and still alive and put her hand on it. She focused and felt the pulse of the forest on her palm. It went through her body and she focused to see who was in the forest. "Harmonia and William are fighting two blues to the right. Penelope is... Not to the left. She's past the forest. I can't sense her. I do sense someone else... I don't know who she is. Haven't seen her around. She seems like she's heading towards our flag though so probably blue team?" She put her hand down and looked at Crystal. "Seems like the left side is pretty open. Should we see and maybe attack the girl that is on her way over here or just ignore and head past the river?" She allowed Crystal to be in charge cuz it seemed she was most comfortable like that.

Flinching slightly at Zoe’s pat, but hiding it quite fast, Lucifer nods at her comment. Closing his eyes quickly, with his hands open, he spied to where the two are from before. Noting that no one else is with them, Lucifer told Zoe that quickly and then smirked.

Joy walked around the new camp, whistling to one of her favorite songs. While unknown by most, it was one of her favorite to play. Gripping her necklace, Joy decided on a whim to play it. Heading to what looked like an eating area, Joy took her necklace off and kissed it. After, Joy quickly tossed it onto the floor as it grew into a full size piano. Sitting down on the provided bench and played it from her memory, for all to hear.

Serenity was meditating behind the cafeteria near the river. She was slightly floating higher than usual since she had not eaten yet for the day. She was focusing on her senses when suddenly her auditory sense took over and listened to a beautiful song being played by a Piano. She perked her ears and slightly tilted her head with her eyes still closed. She sat there to enjoy the music just a little longer and finally floated down and started to walk around the cafeteria following the music.

She found a girl that was sitting on a bench with a huge piano in front of her. Interesting. She had gotten really good at not having expectations or being shocked about anything. When she was asked to become a Goddess's chosen she didn't even flinch. She just nodded and followed her life's destiny. She walked up, sat next to the girl in the bench. She nodded her head at this stranger that was still playing and sang next to her just enjoying this moment.

"I got lucky... By all rights she should have beat me, I just had the right tricks. If we fought again..." Sherri was disappointed in the fact that a rematch between her and Nika would most likely be completely opposite in results. She really didn't know enough spells and have enough tricks to be a good spell caster. She refused to think of the possibility that Nika was just too strong, since that's just an excuse. They quickly reached the river, and Sherri hung back while Zoe talked with a whole bunch of other blue team members. Sherri heard and focused on a specific part of the exchange, a name. Crystal is it... And the person that failed her is Lucifer. She tapped her notepad in her pocket and the two names were recorded, making up for her terrible memory for those identifiers. She just stood in the background away from the group, crossing her fingers in odd ways and just listening to the discussion going on.

Crystal was faced with a hard decision, and it wasn't made any easier by the fact that she was being given final say. She weighed the options carefully, considering their probabilities and chances. On one side there was an attacker, on the other the high-risk high-reward plan that she had brought up just a moment ago. To top it all, Penelope was missing in action. "... We'll stay on the offense. Camron has probably built good enough defenses to hold for a while no matter who it is as long as there's only one. He was making those huge gates that seemed like they were meant for a castle after all." She picked up her scythe and rested it on her shoulder, mentally preparing herself for the combat that was sure to come. "Ready to go? We've gotta run straight through, if possible. No stopping to fight unless absolutely necessary."

When Zoe announced that some of his turrets had been destroyed Gideon was bewildered. He didn’t hear anything. Unfortunately when he came to inspect them with Zoe’s device sure enough they weren’t repairable. “ Ivan! I need you to plug this hole in our security. I don’t mind how you do it, but I need you to buy time while I make replacements.”

Ivan looked at the smith and then as the aforementioned hole. Gideon was taking down the turrets and pitching them back at the forge like baseballs. It was a sure reminder that Gideon was strong and not to be trifled with. “ I understand, leave it to me.”Once Gideon was out of the way and working Ivan inhaled deeply and let out a slow drawn out breath. The icy north wind flowed forth slowly covering the ground and trees in ice. The more he blew the thicker the ice became until the forest in front of him was buried under a foot of ice. If he was going to replace the turrets. He would at least change the environment to suit him.

Zoe looked at Lucifer. "You see them? Let me know if they are getting any closer." Zoe was talking to the group about specific plans. "It's time we go after this flag. There's a ton of us here. Gideon and the new kid Ivan have it handled up there. Cyon is protecting the forest as well. We can-" Lucifer mentioned that Crystal and Jasmine are on their way over here. "First. Let's take care of these once and for all. Team, get in position to kill first and ask questions later." She looked at Sherri and raised an eyebrow. "You look hot when you're concentrated and kinda angry." She gave her a wink and went back to battle mode.

Jasmine and Crystal jogged through the forest uninterrupted. They heard a few fight movements coming from the right and she felt a few trees drop. Jasmine almost got angry and headed over but stopped herself. When they started to get closer to the river it was almost TOO quiet. She was certain that some of the blue team was there. She stopped Crystal and hid behind a tree. Without realizing she practically became one with the tree like a nymph would. She could barely be seen and she for sure had no shadow. Woah. Kinda cool. She felt the plants around her moving in anticipation or concern. If only plants would walk and be my army- kinda like Crystals undead army. She thought it and it started to come true. The plants got up and the roots were practically its legs. She was kinda in shock but she felt her truth. This was her awesome life and powers now. She nodded and whispered to Crystal. "Undead. There's for sure people near the river." She focused really hard to the point that she was starting to sweat as she moved her plants, even carnivorous and poison ivy plants, practically running towards the river and their targets there. She focused some more and got a ton of the plants to create a rather large golem like figure. She was breathing rather hard and relaxed on the tree still invisible. She was hoping Crystal can take it from here for awhile. She threw things at these people that she didn't even know she could do. The plants just listened to her and would do anything for her. She felt a rush of love towards her plants and smiled. She then continued to watch the fight while afar and one with the tree.

Zoe was paying attention when all of a sudden TONS of plants started to run towards the river at top speed. "What the f-" They started to quickly multiply and used each other to create bridge that crossed the river towards them. She quickly took out her bow and arrow but realized she was going to have to focus on close combat. She took out the one sword she brought with her that was on the exosuit. "Sherri! Fire bolts!"

Aqua felt the ground shaking underwater. He noticed that the sea monsters had become agitated. He swam up peaking his head out of the water. His eyes shot open when he witnessed what was before him. Plants moving on their own and not just vines like Zane but fully grown trees bushes even flowers! Aqua looked over at Zoe and grinned “Zoe stand back,it’s about time I got involved!” He shouted. “Eat the plants the come near the river” he commanded the sea kings as they began chomping at any and all plants that came within a foot of the river bank. At top speed Aqua swam in circles over and over until he was surrounded by a powerful current. Suddenly he shot out of the river still spinning a torrent of water following him. He dove straight into the bridge that the plants had made drilling right through ripping it to shreds. As the water dispersed and Aqua began to fall back into the river he threw his trident into the ground “Secret technique:Leviathan Smash!!!!” He screamed. Where the trident impaled itself into the ground it began immediately shaking and breaking apart. “GO!!” screamed as he fell into the river exhausted. vielpotato vielpotato jj9095 jj9095 BreezeCatcher BreezeCatcher That Lass Over There That Lass Over There

"Huh?" Sherri was flustered by Zoe's compliment, and slightly fumbled her staff, knocked out of her concentration by the unexpected remark. Then, while she was shifting her grip on the staff and looking around with a pink face trying to not look like a doofus, all hell broke loose. Plants ran out of the forest and formed a bridge, and two huge golems started walking out of the forest - one of bone and one of plants. Right as Sherri was thinking of how to modify the firebolt incantation to get the large area while still maintaining the heat of the bolt, hoping to incinerate all or at least most of the plants all at once, one of the other kids ran in and did a big Poseidon thing. Well, he's out of the battle, using flashy moves like that to exhaustion... She stopped her chanting and scanned the forest, but she didn't see anyone yet except the two golems. I might as well save my shots until they reveal themselves... She held out her staff and focused on gathering her energy into it, preparing to use the convenient no chant needed magic missile-like spell that the staff came with.

Crystal put her back against a tree, hiding much in the same way as Jasmine except she didn't actually become part of her tree. Shit shit shit. She originally was going to show her face and snipe some of the enemies using their shadows, but the bridge getting decimated in one hit made her reconsider. "Jasmine, there're six people there... Six! We can't fight six people by ourselves!" She whisper-yelled this, not looking anywhere in specific - not sure where to look for her partner that had taken tree hugging to a new level where the tree hugged her. Despite her pessimistic outlook on the fight, she told the bone golem to advance. As long as they didn't have any more moves on the scale from before it should be able to take a few hits and let Crystal figure out what they were facing...

When Sherri saw the bone golem take a few steps forward, she decided to let loose the magic bolt she had been preparing and see how it went. It was by no means a powerful shot, and it hit the golem on it's shoulder, managing to knock some of the bones loose from the surface of the golem. She frowned, deciding the fire immune and impact resistant pile of bones had bad compatibility with her, and she started chanting a rather long and improvised modified firebolt chant. The moment that plant golem steps forward I'll turn it to ash...!

Jasmine saw Cryatal freaking out hiding behind a tree as well and rolled her. She got a bush to grab her and bring her to her tree. She quickly hugged Crystal and made her part of the tree too. Inside the tree it was like they knew they were protected but you can see everything as if the tree was not there. "Sorry. Im guna have to keep hugging you or this whole hiding as part of a tree thing isn't guna work. What do you think we should do? I can't keep this on for long." She thought for a second and tried her best to NOT think about how close Crystal was to her and how her skin was rather soft for a soon to be Goddess of the Underworld.

Jasmine focused back on the fight and noticed how one of the Poseidons chosen kinda ruined her plant forming bridge thing. "There is no way we are going to go through that... unless... Do you think we can join forces? A Carnivorous Golem that we can hide IN kind of like what we are doing now with the tree? Test to see how the golem does crossing the river. If it can cross it we can cross IN it." Jasmine smiled at Crystal realizing that looking at each other only gave them a few inches of space between their lips.

Camron took the tea and drank it. He drank the whole thing. He smiled. It was almost like home. "I would add a little more sugar." He said as his southern roota came out. He said looking at Elizabeth. He wanted to kiss her but didn't. He stayed where he was. He was tired but stayed up just for her.

When Camron drank all of the tea, Elizabeth was trying not to laugh at his silly behavior. 'That is very strange of him to drink the whole thing, since Camron is probably going to have to go to the bathroom from that.' thought Elizabeth, because she knows that he didn't need to do that.
"Well, I like to drink it like that, and are you sure that it was a good idea to drink the whole thing during capture the flag? You are probably going to use the bathroom for doing that." said Elizabeth.
She wasn't sure where Camron should do that besides in the forest, but it would be too risky to do that when the blue team is in there.

'...Camron is probably going to have to pee in an empty bottle, and he looks tired.'
thought Elizabeth. She got a blanket for him, so Camron can take a break for a little bit.

"It's nice... to meet... all of you." She yawned gently and slowly tried to sit up, which ended up as her slouched in the chair. His eyes opened ever so slightly, revealing a thin line of crystal blue before they closed again a moment later. "You're right... Willow. Morpheus... Yes."

She reached for the flower crown, sniffing it hesitantly and sighed when the sweet scent of flowers reached her nose. She placed it on her head, albeit crookedly and felt it absently. "You are all... interesting to me. Why are you... sitting here...?"

She did enjoy the warmth of the hearth and pleasant atmosphere but wanted to know each of their reasons not for being here presently, but why they'd come to be where they are today.

The only comment Lucifer made. Closing his eyes, Lucifer started to whisper. Find them please. Also make a barrier underneath the water guy and carry him out please. Oh, and one sword as well. Opening his eyes, the darkness went to work. Scowering around, they began to work by looking around for the pair. At the same time, they began to life the water kid up and away from the dangers and back to the water while also forming a pair of small daggers into Lucifer’s hands. Walking up, holding the daggers pointing to the back, he was ready to attack.

Penelope brightened up when she heard him speak. Her ears perked up and it helped her forget their current predicament. "Yeah!" she replied with a big smile. "I think I heard someone say that once too. They must have been really smart."

Together with their combined power, they were able to reach the bank and Penelope, being as she was on top, hefted herself out of the river. Then she turned to Derrek. Using her strength, she pulled him from the river and helped him relax on the river bank. She knelt over him and began to gently inspect his wounds. "I'm going to help you okay?" Without waiting for an answer, she, very carefully, began to pull out the stakes from his shoulders and tossed placed them beside her.

With a "hmmm" she got up and bounded into the forest, returning a moment later with a few, big healthy, green leaves and began to wrap his wounds with them to staunch any of the remaining bleeding. "Okay, so I'm going to play my flute and you're going to get better, okay? But you might smell like leaves and berries." She brought the flute to her lips and began to play a gentle, lulling song. Slowly, very slowly, Derrek's wounds would begin to close and the pain would start to ebb. It wouldn't be enough to heal him completely but enough to stabilize the injury. The rest would be up to his body.

"How do you feel, brother-kabob-guy?"

"If you mean here today, as Godlings, we couldn't really turn it down." Sera and Lukas smiled as they nodded in unison. "My father was Zephyr, like I said, so I kind of had to do this. Take his place. I used to live a double life. My dad's life and my mortal life. I was kind of the bomb back home. I had everything coming for me. But I don't know. That changed I guess. I don't really know my mother, either." She shrugged lightly. "I didn't really know that I was destined to do this. My family had a lot of traditions, mostly having to do with Apollo, who was my ancestor. When he chose me, my family was contagiously happy about it. At first I didn't like the idea. Leaving my home to pursue my ancestor's legacy. But my family was very happy with me, and helped me to see how good this is for me." He looked down. He already missed his family very much, but there's not much else he can do about that. "But if you mean at the hearth, then it's because we didn't feel like participating in that nightmare." Willow walked from the group, pleased that she made friends. She waved at the pair outside of the cafeteria. She walked through the doors, and the fluorescent lights met her eyes. She walked through the room, looking at all of the rectangle tables. At her mortal school, she had circular ones. A huge waste of space, but better for socialization. She grabbed a plate and stacked the plate pretty well with some fruit, preferably the ones from the Spring season. She grabbed a cup of water and sat down at the table nearest the door. Felix looked over at the exhausted Aqua and shrugged, but then he heard the suggestion from the boy with the shadow daggers. Decay the bone golem with water, I can definitely do that. With that thought, he walked out onto the water. Standing there, he took aim at the bone golem's legs and unleashed a torrent of water upon them. Once the legs are destroyed it will be much safer to deal with. Felix thought. Crawling golems are slower than walking golems right?

William Hawthorne
(Janus Descendant)
62bfa4dd09ad92d278c1c51efe55a44b.jpg

William frowned at Kera’s response, disapproving of how she conducted herself, “You’re arrogance shall be your undoing, Child of Zeus. Do not yet believe yourself superior before we have crossed blades.” William still had both his hands on the pommel orb his sword, which was still stuck partway into the earth. The next few moments happened all at once in a flash. In his peripherals, William noticed a figure hurtling towards him with both feet first. Zane intends to kick me. Thankfully, William possessed incredible reflexes and speed. Putting on foot back, he leaned his upper body back and to the side to dodge Zane’s otherwise fairly slow attack. However, what William hadn’t accounted for was the fast-moving lightning spear that was rocketing directly towards his back. He had been lucky enough to dodge the kick though, allowing the gentleman to have almost completely evaded the spear too.

Unfortunately, the spear was just a little too fast and William glanced down in shocked surprise as reality seemed to move in slow motion. The spear creeping ever closer to his turned face, his eyes widening as he willed his body to move faster. Eventually, the blade’s tip grazed his cheek bone and continued to drag a shallow trench across the side of his face, ending before it reached his nose. Time sped up again as the spear blasted off again at ‘normal’ speed with a malevolently crackle of electricity: directly into Zane’s flight path. Because the two objects had both been flung at speed in William’s direction, Zane had been unfortunate enough to becoming vulnerable to the spear’s piercing movement. William wasn’t entirely sure the extent of the Child of Dionysus’ powers, but evading damage from the spear in midair sounded difficult even for William. It didn’t seem like Kera could react in time given that the situation had changed in an instant. William didn’t intend to give her a chance to recover her wits either.

It was at this point that William glanced over at Harmonia to see if she was okay. He wasn’t just in time to catch the back end of an awesome backflip, soaring with elegance directly over a flash of bright lightning. William, pulling his sword from the earth and sprinting forward, internally took a moment to appreciate his woman’s- his friend’s skilled combat expertise. My woman? That’s rather forward given our relationship, even for me. He then mentally tripped over the word ‘relationship’ causing a brief second of redness to rise to his cheeks for the umpteenth time, painfully reminding him of the uncomfortable stinging sensation across one side of his face. I’ll have to be more careful.

Approaching Kera at a fast pace, William cocked back his sword around his side so the blade was perpendicular to his spine, preparing for a particularly nasty horizontal slash. William could feel that Harmonia and Zane did not have their eyes on him at the moment, leaving him free to fight to the full extent of his powers. As William drew closer to Kera, he would wait for her to blink. As she did, all the conditions for his special ability would be met. Supposing nothing went wrong, William would appear to still be some way away from Kera, only to appear directly in front of her the moment she blinked, filling up her vision with his strong form and grimly determined expression. Upon closing the distance instantly, William would attempt to unleash a brutal horizontal slash under her guard and across her abdomen. He was fairly certain his plan would succeed; Children of Zeus were slower and had slower reflexes than him, so he hoped his little trick would take Kera off guard and dispatch her quickly. Should he fail, William would jump back and prepare his guard for a counterattack.

(For reference, I’ll assume every character blinks once every 3 seconds.)

Serenity noticed someone that looked like her dorm partner walk by. She checked her aura and it felt right. "Fur Elise sounds perfect" She smiled at Joy. "I believe that is my dorm partner walking into the cafeteria. Would you like to stay here or come sit with us?" She got up from the bench and waited for Joy to respond before moving in. She was a rather caring person and didn't want to leave anyone out.

Sherri's eye twitched as Lucifer told Zoe to tell her something when they were only twenty feet apart. Pfft, burn the forest. The hell. I can't combust anything at this range, forget a forest fire. Don't request the impossible, level one has limits. She couldn't say anything though because that would screw up the incantation she already had prepared, so she just made eye contact with Zoe and shook her head no. She wanted to keep her spell to incinerate the plant golem on hand, ready to go the moment it took a few steps forward, and it wasn't like she could output enough power at this range to start a forest fire anyways.

When Felix blasted the bone golem, focusing on one of it's legs, quite a few bones popped off but no major damage was dealt. It was something built with only the idea of durability in mind, and by the time the water reached the golem which was still a good twenty meters away from the river it had very little of the initial force behind it, the water losing a good portion of the pressure it was shot with.

Crystal took a deep breath, glad that she was out of that situation for a bit. She was just as conscious as Jasmine about how close they were, and she tried not to blush with the contact between their bodies. She turned her head a little so that they weren't face to face. "I don't know exactly what you're talking about, but that's what I sent the bone golem to do, test if it could walk across the bottom of the river to the other side... Plus it's tanky as hell, so I though it might soak up some damage. It's not waterproof though, we wouldn't be able to breath inside it." Crystal was trying to ignore Jasmine's breath on her cheek that was ticklish. "Honestly, it's probably best if we let the golems do some work and retreat back to base for now. We aren't in the advantage here."

Jasmine frowned but nodded. Retreating wasn't her favorite thing to do but she still wasn't ready to see Crystal die or even feel herself dieing. She shuffled a little bit trying to give Crystal more room thinking she might feel uncomfortable. "Im not sure the plants will hold off long the farther I am. What about your golem? Can we go for a run? OR what if we stay in this tree? I doubt they will find us if all the plants and golems drop. I am worried about that Erebus kid with the shadow stuff. I feel like he can find us if we get out of here." Jasmine moved her hands down a little bit more to Crystals waist trying to get more comfortable herself.

Zoe nodded at Sherri understanding. "No worries sweetie." She looked at Lucifer with a HELLOOOO SHES RIGHT THERE look. She stared at the rock and plant golems making its way slowly to the river. "It's really slow." She looked around at her surroundings seeing what she can use. She remembered she had an exosuit on and jumped to see how high she could jump. It felt like she was more on the moon then on earth. She looked at Sherri and then at the golems. "Babe I know you're in the middle of an incantation. When you finish firing that get on my back. Were jumping to the other side." She looked at Lucifer. "Can you find a way to the other side as well?" She nodded at Lucifer knowing he'd find a way.
