Zoe was picked up by Sherri and she kept her mouth shut. She did her very best to blush. Really, she did. She doesn't think it was working though so she started to talk- maybe a little too much. "So, if we walk Southeast hopefully well see the tree so keep your eyes pierced and Gideon thank you for being so nice and you really don't owe us because you helped me not fall on my face too and also I think its so cool how Im into making things AND magic and you two are here with me." She just kept going and going and going and she really didn't shut up. Sometimes she would talk to Gideon and nerd out on some things they can build together. Other times she would talk to Sherri and tell her about a new spell that she should learn with her or a potion she wants to try next. They must have walked for another 20 minutes. "Gideon, I really have to fix that belt of yours though. It was too easy to take it off the doppelganger and I can imagine its the same on you and- Sherri, honey, can you put me down? Let me try walking." She put her feet on the ground and felt like herself again. She sighed, looked up, and saw the broken tree. "GUYS!" She started to walk/wobble towards the tree. She got right next to it and looked at her two partners in class (instead of crime, ha). "On the count of 3 lets all put our hands on the tree? ... I didn't mean to rhyme." She smiled at Sherri and Gideon. "Ready... 1... 2... 3!"

Sherri was a bit sad when she put Zoe down, but she did as she was asked seeing as how Zoe was uncomfortable. Actually, it was a bit good, because she was reaching her limit anyways, but that didn't mean she was happy about it. She chuckled at the unintentional pun Zoe made, putting her hand right next to the tree. She touched the charred bark, and found herself right back on the training grounds with Zoe and Gideon. "That was fun, let's never do it again!" She said with a broad grin, having waited to make that joke for half the walk to the tree. She looked up at the dark sky, watching the stars with bright eyes. "Now then, why don't we go grab dinner? I'm starving."

Gideon was a little worried about Sherri carrying Zoey, after all mages aren’t know for strength, but the both of them seemed to be enjoying themselves so he wasn’t going to force the issue. It was really great to be able to talk with someone else about machines and make plans with. Though the talk of spell work went mostly over his head Gideon admired how versitile Zoey’s skill set was. She was at least on par with a son of Hephaestus when it came to craftsmanship, though from what he understood he could produce the same quality in half the time, and was teaching a daughter of Hecate magic. Having an All rounder like her as a friend would no doubt lead to some great projects.

When they all appeared back at the start he heard food and immediately realized how much energy he had burned during his fight. “ Before that... how about a change of clothing?” He suggested gesturing to his own lack of a shirt and Sherri’s bloodstained attire.

"And a bath bomb." Zoe muttered realizing how tired and hungry she was herself. "Lets meet up in the cafeteria after all of us get situated?" before she can go anywhere Briana came up to them.

Briana looked at the first three kids to come out and clapped for them. "Good job the 3 of you. Before you go off though make sure to get your tattoos." She showed off hers. "This tattoo will symbolize your first full step to turning into a God and letting of your mortal parts."

Zoe muttered underneath her breath "Told you."

Briana gave Zoe a look. "You may pick wherever you wish to have the tattoo. Today, you will get the outline and then you can be on your ways. When you graduate you will get a full tattoo filled in, as well as your full powers."

Zoe was astounded. She was getting her first and probably only tattoo. She wiggled a little and her left foot was still a little numb. "Can I go first? This leg is still numb so I might not feel the needle."

Briana smiled at Zoe. "You may." She called up Rae for him to do the process. He finished it in five minutes. She looked at the two other kids. "Who would like to go next?"

Gideon nodded as the group decided to reconvene once they had a chance to clean up. It was a welcome opportunity for some rest. Just as he was about to head back to his dorm the headmistress stood before them congratulating them and talking about tattoos. Since Zoey already volunteered for first Gideon sorta gestured to himself, “ I suppose I’ll go next. Put it over my heart.”

Briana nodded at Gideon and gave Rae the cue to work on his tattoo.

Zoe looked away not wanting to see his bare chest, especially in front of Sherri. She was pretty sure that was a sign of respect towards her girlfriend... Speaking about girlfriend... She looked Sherri in the eyes. "Soooo are you afraid of me killing you or afraid of me betraying you?" She gave a weak nod. She wanted to talk to Sherri about this for awhile but not while Gideon was around. It was another reason she felt uncomfortable when Sherri was carrying her. She felt confused.

Sherri realized that it was something that needed to be talked about, so she took a moment to think and give Zoe the best answers she could. "I'm just generally afraid about our relationship in general. I don't even know my own feelings... Definitely betrayal though, I never even thought of you killing me." Sherri felt like that was enough, and watched as Rae gave Gideon his tattoo while frowning a little. She was a bit reluctant to get a tattoo, having never really appreciated them or needles. It's always been a good idea to do the things you don't like as soon as possible, but that opportunity was gone. "What does your tattoo look like?"

She shook of the thoughts that she had and looked at the girls. Her stomuch had started to rumble. She looked at thr girls and smiled. Zoe showed Sherri her tattoo on her leg. It was just an outline but if she moved it, it looked like the owl moved his head from side to side. It was a really cool tattoo. "Owls are known to be Athena's animal. It stands for wisdom and protection." She looked at Sherri and hugged her with arm. "Like how much wisdom I have in picking such a fantastic person to spend my time with and how I will always protect you." She stopped smiling and looked very serious for a second. "Sherri, I would never betray you. I need you to know that and before you almost died in my arms- I still want to take it slow with you. I don't want to rush either one of us into something but... I know I want to spend my time with you."

She turned around to see Gideon and got kinda embarrassed. "Sorry about that Gideon." She looked at Sherri and shooed her to get her tattoo "You've got this. It's going to be magnificent!"

Sherri's happy warm fuzzy moment brought from Zoe's words curled up and died when Zoe shooed her to get her tattoo, and she gave her a bitter look for crushing that nice moment before brushing her hair over her shoulder and saying, "On the back of the neck, please sir." It took a lot of willpower to stay still and not flail in the presence of the needle, which she mustered by childishly sticking her tongue out at Zoe. When it was done, the outline of a pair of burning torches was left there, only to be covered up by her hair which definitely wasn't the master plan. "Alright, let's go to the dorms... Or dinner? I mean, does dinner wait on us? Because I value food over a bath right now."

Gideon didn't move or flail from the pain of the tattoo. On the contrary he was much more concerned about the little needlegun and the person using it as the exposure to his skin usually causes things to heat up very quickly. However, for some reason, probably magic, The ink didn't have any issue and the gun didn't heat up. As he stood there getting his tattoo he made a dismissive face, " Don't worry about it Zoe, I've gotten used to you two by now. Don't worry about me." The tattoo would be an anvil wreathed in flames, though like the others it was only an outline at the moment. " While you guys go get food I would at least like to put a shirt on, and get my spare eyepatch. Feeling the wind on the burn is a bit... strange. Anyway I'll meet you guys there. " Gideon said already making his way over to his dorm.

Ari watched as Cyon went down, screaming at the fearling above him. He was yelling at Cyon, but Cyon didn't seem to hear him. He then got an idea. He collapsed, falling asleep on command. He jumped from his body and flew over to Cyon. He whispered into his ear. "You can do it Cyon. I need you to do it. Conquer your fear. Conquer your mortality." He then sat back and hoped it worked (pssst it did). Nico Nico Angel Evans Angel Evans

"I hear you Tera... Three!" Crystal pressed her hand against the bark of the tree, and they all came out on the training grounds they had started in. Andy smiled at Alice. Next thing you know, he began sinking. He looked around, realizing quick sand had mysteriously appeared where he was. He began to panic, the thought of using his powers not coming to mind, and his senses went blank. He begged for something to save him, and he was already suffocating. He wasn't even in the ground yet. He struggled against the thick sand, his breathing ragged. Shadows began to chuckle, circling around him. He was gonna die, and nothing could save him. He then took a deep breath as his head went under. He frowned for a moment, then shook his head. "Drowning? Really? This is not how I die." He thought. He shadow traveled out. The immense power that he had released earlier, draining most of his energy, allowed him very little power. But considering power (at least his) is based off of fear and emotion, he was easily able to overcome it and get out. He was one of the more simpler cases. He didn't need much of anything, really. He then felt a cold feeling, and he looked behind him to find darkness surrounding his neck. The cold bit into his neck, and he watched as a dark, pitch black star formed on his neck. When he looked at it, it sent a shiver down his spine, and it seemed to glow darkness. He smiled. "That, is cool as hell." He said aloud, chuckling as Tart ran up to him. He looked over at Noir and smiled at the precious boy. He had no fear, so he said it. "You are hella attractive, you know?" Blackrose7 Blackrose7 Ariel Ariel

Cyon's heart was beating faster and faster as the vines pierced through the fearling. Tears were strained down his face as he struggled against his fears, he could do this. It was something he had to conquer if he wanted to become Demeter. He gasped in surprise when he heard Ari's voice. Ari was there, he wasn't alone after all. Something shattered as he could finally see Ari, Zane and Aqua again. He stood up and clenched his fists around the swords. "I'm not afraid of you anymore." he stepped forward. "I'm not alone." he stepped closer. "I have a future unlike you!" he said and sped forward and swung his swords down in an arc. Cutting through the shadow father and relieving Cyon of his fear.

His head felt clearer and he breathed a sigh of relief. He glowed a light color and looked down at his wrist. A bundle of wheat appeared as a tattoo on his skin and he grinned. He felt lighter and more free, as if his mortal fears had been taken away. Which they had. He turned to Ari and smiled "Thank you." he said and put his swords away. "I did it..." he whispered. He faced what was supposed to be his father, with the help of his new friends.

They have a little bit of potion in them of course." She winked at Sherri. "I bet you want to know what they are don't you?" The soft steps of a slender individual cut across the natural soundscape of the training grounds with light care. Locks of tousled hair draped down his face, some hanging off his glasses and obscuring one eye, nearly touching a good-natured smile. The white collar jostled in the light breeze as the young man came to a stop before a large table, one adorned with very few weapons now. There were not many around, likely all having gone to take part in whatever training exercise the teachers had set up for them.

"Well, I suppose that's about right for showing up late. I must remember not to stay up all night reading. This is the third time now that this kind of thing has happened..." A rueful smile soon faded as William glanced about, looking for other people. Being late meant that he was deserving of being left behind, but perhaps there were others like him. He ran a hand through his hair, shifting a few locks out of his eyes to get a better view of his surroundings. A few people were left, stood in groups, but they appeared to be busy. William wasn't the type to intrude brashly. He also couldn't just walk into the forest; he was getting a strange vibe from it, as if something dangerous was warding him away. Instead, William pulled out a small pocket book and leaned against the nearest table, reading the contents of the book with a wistfully familiar gaze.

Sherri was glad that Zoe liked the tattoo she got, though she personally didn't care for it. "Bath bombs?" Sherri dug through her memory, faintly remembering what they were. It's been a while since I've taken a bath. "A potion you added? If it's a bath bomb, a scented- Or maybe..." Sherri's still mostly innocent mind had an idea, and then she went wide-eyed, chasing after Zoe who had gained a head start in her confusion. "Zoe you're a goddamn tease! Don't you dare test those without me!" She laughed too, glad she had someone to goof around with in this unfamiliar place. Come to think of it, Harmonia's probably a good person to goof around with too? I probably should try to spend some time with her as friends.

Briana walked up to William. "William! You are late." She huffed and you can tell she was rather mad about it. "Listen up and listen up quick. This is the one and only time you are ever allowed be late. You hear me? I will accept it this time because you weren't here for Orientation. When you are done with the test come to my office so we have a chat about some rules around here. One of them is if you are late to class you get sent to the mortal realm with your memories erased of anything that has to do with this school or Greek gods. Understood?" She sighed and pushed back her hair. "Here is your weapon, your healing potion in case you almost die, which is rather likely, and your fear potion. This will bring your deepest darkest inner demons to life in the forest and all your classmates can see them as well. Drink up." She waited for him to drink the potion. "Now, Hold my hand." As soon as he held her hand she rushed through the forest in a blur so that he couldn't see where he had taken her and she dropped him off with 'Team Lemon.'"Here. He is yours. Make sure he comes out a life." She shakes her head. "Good luck students." Briana disappears right before their eyes with lightning speed back to the training grounds.

Zoey got to the dorm and picked out a specific bath bomb for her and Sherri. She wasn't sure if Sherri wanted to share the bath... So she decided to get two and let her decide. She knew Sherri was the one second-guessing their relationship. Not her. She did get them the same one. "It's a healing and energy potion. It should make us feel like we had eight hours of sleep in less than an hour of soaking in it and our body will recuperate from such a long day. It's perfect for long days, post-workout, insomnia, and wanting to make someone you like feel-good inside and out." She blushed a little and gave one to Sherri. She got both of them towels and headed to the bathroom that all the girls shared. "It doesn't seem like any of the other girls are back yet so we should be good for now."

Noir's lips twisted into a small smile and his cheeks turned a soft shade of pink. "U-Um thanks. You know you're not so bad yourself." He murmured awkwardly, a little timid with forwardness. He definitely could admire Andy's appearance but actually admitting it was different. "When we're done, we'll have to bandage that up," He said softly, gesturing to Alice's wound.

He looked at both of their new tattoos in awe and thought to himself that it was probably time for him to get one of his own. "Come on, I'm sure the tree is around here somewhere..." Noir said, looking around. He took a step forward and not a moment later a large black shape similar in size to himself collided with him, knocking him to the ground and the air out of his lungs. He gasped and sputtered as the figure on top of him punched him across the face and he immediately tasted blood in his mouth. When he looked up, he was surprised to see an identical version of himself, only his face was twisted sadistically and was full of malice. He raised his fist to strike Noir again but Noir managed to deflect it and tried to buck him off. He managed to get some leeway in and rolled the other Noir over, smacking his back into the ground. For whatever reason his first instinct was to wrap his hands around the others neck and squeeze. His swords had been knocked from his grasp when he was thrust down. Now the other Noir reached for one and slashed at him. He had just enough time to stumble backwards and managed to avoid a lethal cut.

The two collided again and rolled around so many times, it would be impossible to distinguish one from the other. Both were covered in dirt, their clothing rumpled and were panting when they seperated, stumbling away from each other. Both looked over at Alice and Andy with wide eyes.

"Help me! Kill him!" One said.

"No! Kill him! He's the enemy!"

"Don't let him toy with your mind!"

"He's lying! Please, I don't want to die!"

"Please!" Both said in unison, both expressions identical. The real Noir had ice cold fear seeping through him, wondering if they would be able to tell them apart. He was worried that if he were injured or killed then this faker would turn to hurting them and the thought terrified him.

Harmonia lost it. As in lost her mind at some point after seeing her parents at an old age with a freaking cyclops going after them. She was pretty sure she lost her group too after seeing them and not being able to control herself. She just ran with no plan of action. She had this feeling in her heart and she trusted it. "You! Will! Not! Hurt! My! Parents!" Her mom's side of her came out and all of her younger sword training came out in one go. She lost all self-control, like her mother has told her time and time again happens to her. All she knew was to kill. She stabbed the cyclops in the eye and as soon as she did she saw little hearts come out of her sword. That kind of woke her up from her illusion. She took the sword out to look at it and the cyclops fell. She got off the cyclops, shrugged, put away the sword and wiped her hands. "I know you guys aren't my REAL parents but can you NOT get attacked by monsters again? Thanks." Her dopperganger parents disappeared and she sighed. As soon as she turned around she realized she had just done what her mother would have done in that scenario. She looked at her hands. "But- But I have the power to protect them. To let them have mortal lives. Right? I will be a God, not them soon enough..." She stopped and thought. She knew her father would have done the same in the scenario if it was me or Briana in trouble. She clenched her first and jaw KNOWING she did the right thing. She chose Aphrodite. Aphrodite would have acted like that too.
She started to walk back to the group when random strangers came out of no where wanting to grope her and feel her. They wanted her 'love.' Or like mortals like to call it, 'lust.' "STOP! Get off of me!" She ran a little but they just kept coming up to her. She knew this was a fear of hers as well. She was afraid she wasn't like her father. That she wasn't good enough to be Aphrodite. She had never fallen in love but she was supposed to help others do it? All she ever had was a crush here and there and people would tell her she loved them but she never felt like they loved HER... More like the concept of her and maybe her body. She wanted someone to love her for HER. Why was that so hard? She closed her eyes shut. "I will not give in to this. I will not. I must be stronger. Love is stronger! I WILL find love and share it with the world! No more second guessing myself!" She stopped feeling people touching her and opened her eyes slowly. They were gone...
She fell on her knees and just... cried. She cried KNOWING that these were her fears. Knowing she was afraid that she would never find love even if she became Aphrodite. She wanted what her parents have. She wanted to be loved so deeply that the God of Love himself didn't cheat. She wanted very little in life. Her parents safety... and actual love. Is that too much to ask for?

She finally got herself together and called out for her team. "Drake?! Kera?! Hikari?! Can you hear me!"

William gave the 'fear' potion a dubious look before taking it and cautiously downing the liquid entirely. It tasted about as you'd expect a potion of fear to taste, causing him to screw his eyes up in a distasteful reaction. Having gotten over the first hurdle, William took the healing potion and picked up his weapon, a rather conspicuous-looking ornate silver-golden sword. Now William was definitely not one to look for overcompensation, and this certainly seemed like something a king of history would wield. Still, it seemed deadly enough for all its bejewelled features, so he was content enough with it.

Luckily, a holster strap and scabbard came along with it, allowing him to slot the blade neatly at his hip, just like the knights of old. In a way, it suited him. The others wouldn't know it yet, but William much preferred to entertain the idea of chivalry, even if it was not reciprocated. Smiling contentedly at his new acquisitions, he turned to Bri to ask her a question, "So, what's next for-" He was cut off abruptly by the sound of wind sharply whistling in his ears as the landscape seemed to meld and morph like a painting being smudged by the artist's brush. Greenish colours seemed to darken and grow more pronounced until the rushing feeling stopped and William felt himself become still again. More than a little dishevelled after the recent light-speed encounter with Bri, he turned around, shell-shocked, to see the female in question was nowhere to be seen.

William shook his head ruggedly and used his fingers to brush his hair back into place, before glancing about at his surroundings. He was indeed deep in the forest. Glancing down at his hand, William noticed the healing potion he was still tightly grasping and loosened his grip on the drink. The words the teacher had said came back to him, "which is rather likely...", slightly more daunting and foreboding than before. Fully turning around, William then noticed that there were two others near him: probably the other students that he was tasked with joining during this training session. Bri hadn't really explained what he was supposed to do in the forest, other than the fact that his deepest darkest inner demons were going to be brought to life before them all. It was something he really wasn't looking forward to, because even he wasn't sure what would appear. William frowned for a moment, before replacing his expression with a more gentle smile of friendship and a slight bow.

"Greetings. I'm William Hawthorne, Janus descendant. It is a pleasure to meet the both of you."

Andy watched as the feud broke out, and he tried to follow the real one through the brawl, but he lost him in no time. He began to panic. He watched as they argued about who was real. One had a more terrified expression. It could be because he is the real one and doesn't wanna die, or it could be because the fake one is exaggerating. He began to point his sword at the [real] Noir, and then the [fake] Noir. He freaked out. "Oh god." He then felt a tug. An idea struck his mind. He put his sword down and stepped between them. He decided to check something. He willed himself to sense, to know. He felt a tug to the right. Then a tug to the left. Confusion struck his mind, but then the tug began to rapidly tug at the one on the right. Tart looked into Andy's mind. "Yes. The real one is on your right." That was all the information he needed. He looked at [real] Noir, took out his sword, and swung it behind him, slicing off the fearling's head. "Fear is but a figment of your imagination. This person I just killed, was your fear. You should never be afraid of yourself." He said, looking deep into Noir's eyes. "Only then will you be free from your mortal self." Ariel Ariel Blackrose7 Blackrose7
