Fantasy Godling Academy

Caspar looked at Rayne realizing he didn't know what God he was. He went through them quickly in his head pointing out certain attributes of Rayne so far. Hades. Hades didn't exactly like other people hence why he picked the underworld. He did get connected to some people and one God, Persephone. But very few. Rayne thought about if there was a Persephone here yet and felt himself getting angry... Caspar looked at Rayne, his dorm partner, who he felt had a connection with him. Caspar has never liked someone. Never dated anyone. He was a complete and utter virgin. He didn't know HOW to like someone. He scratched his head and took the thoughts out of his mind and switched it to the problem at point. Caspar nodded his head and smiled. "Caves it is." He started walking in the direction of the caves. 'Mine.' He tried to shake his head to get the idea put of his. 'Rayne shall be all mine.' He stopped in his tracks and looked back at Rayne gesturing him to follow. He felt possesive. Something he wasn't used to but somewhat liked. He wanted Rayne for himself.... So he shall have him. @Cami

His eyes widened as he followed Caspar though he was curious in a way.

“Caspar, if you continue wondering in your head we’re going to take eternity” he chuckled before he stopped and gave him a serious look. “Though I wouldn’t mine, eternity with you would be nice – actually” he spoke softly. He would be away from most people, he wouldn’t have met half the people he hated and maybe he could have a space all to himself.

“So what are you a descendant of, I refuse to say who because I feel as though this would be a vivid dream which I’m soon going to wake up from” he laughed as he swung his and Caspar’s hands but clutched it tighter as he felt excitement come inside him. He wondered what Caspar was thinking.

“But if this is a dream it would be unfortunate because it would mean you’re a concept of my imagination. Ah – well. If you were real I’d just have to hunt you down” he smirked but came to a halt. Were they lost? His eyebrows furrowed but he decided to go along with it, there wasn’t anything he could do.

@jj9095

Alex watched the two roommates on their adventure silently watching over them "This is problematic " he said to himself biting on a hang nail. As they disappeared into through caves he climbed up a nearby tree to watch over them,falling asleep prepared for the next day

Caspar blushed. "I'm sorry." He started to wonder in his head again but came back to real life again. "Sorry sorry." He blushed. "It's kind of hard not to. It's kind of my favorite place to be." He made a hard right to the largest cave in the forest that he read up on. "I shall be taking over as the next Athena." He said. "I told you, I'm quite a nerd. Very hard for regular people to understand half of the things I am talking about." He smiles at Caspar and moved the hanging leaves on front of the cave and gestured him in. "Which means you aren't normal." @Cami

"Sorry?" he asked in confusion before smiling.

"You have nothing to be sorry about. I should be thanking you actually, you kind of saved me from having to socialize with that person earlier, though I wasn't aware of how much of a spit fire you are" he chuckled and stopped. He lifted his finger and moved a strand of hair out of Caspar's face, not really caring about the close distance between them,

"Ah... So I see where all the intelligence comes from. I don't know I like to think that I'm from the caresses of Oblivion, it suits better than having to name a person you have 'descended from', it's quite trope really" he said bluntly. He didn't see why he needed to pay respect or any of that.

"I'm clearly am not normal if I'm going into a cave without anything, I think deaths bells draws near" he laughed as he made his way into the cave but he stopped and held out his hand for Caspar to take.

@jj9095

Caspar chuckled "You're welco-" Rayne moved a piece of Caspars hair and he swallowed with wide eyes. He felt a surge of goosebumps spread throughout his whole body that he surely never felt before. Caspar knew Rayne said something after that but he honestly blanked out from the face of the universe for a couple seconds. When he saw Raynes hand extended towards him he took a step forward and felt a third leg rising. He ignored it and took Raynes hand legit wondering what was going on. Yeah he was smart when it came to books and planning but THIS category was for Aphrodite. They walked inside the cave for awhile. Jumping over a couple things and getting to the darkest part of the cave always holding hands. Caspar thought how unlike himself he was acting. He was completely unprepared for this kind of adventure. He wondered what time it was. His internal clock always woke up at 7am and went to sleep at 10:30pm. Surely it was later than 10:30pm. With the cave being so dark and them having to stop and wait for their eyes to adjusts he found his melatonin acting up and Caspar kept yawning every couple steps. "Rayne? I'm pretty sleepy." @Cami

Rayne looked at Caspar with concern, there’s a first for everything. He looked on to see how much was left; it looked like quite a lot so he decided they would stop for today at least. Next time he would probably go by himself considering it was a safer option.

“Sleepy?” he asked. He searched his pocket to check the time, he was sure he had a watch. When he finally found it he looked at the time and was surprised.

“11:40 already?” he asked. It didn't seem like that long but time did have a way of going quickly when you were enjoying yourself. He turned to Caspar and stared at him, the boy looked like he was about to collapse, and here was Rayne thinking that any descendant of Hades would turn out to be unfit and pale.

“You look like you’re going to fall any second, here-” he said as he bent down a bit. He stared at Caspar and beckoned for him to come towards him.

“You can hop on my back, I’ll carry you” he said amused at the early hours and his constant yawning. Rayne was used to going to sleep pretty late but it didn't mean Caspar should suffer.

@jj9095

Caspar shook his head. "No. I say we fall asleep here." Caspar didn't want Rayne to carry him and knew walking back would take on average 32 minutes and they left their luggage right inside the caves entrance which they would have to take with them. Surely Rayne couldn't carry him AND the luggage. Caspar got on the floor thinking it was actually pretty comfy. @Cami

"If you say so" he chuckled as he sat on the cave floor and laid next to Caspar. He stared at Caspar with a serious look before whispering in his ear.

"But if any thing happens, it's on you" his warm breath hit Caspar's ear before he smiled playfully and he stared at him in the eyes. It was okay when he thought about it, he'd been in worse situations back at home, nothing was safe there. You had to make sure to watch your back wherever you went. He wrapped his arms around Caspar.

"Okay my personal cushion, you are going to provide me warmth" he said in a sing song voice as he rested.

@jj9095

Caspar thought of the possibility of anything happening in a cave that they haven't seen any animals and very few bugs. The possibility was slim. When Rayne wrapped his arms around Caspar he felt himself drifting away without even thinking of how he has NEVER had someone this close. Soon he had fallen asleep and dreamt. Dreamt about Rayne and him in class and always looking at each other. Dreamt that his grades dropped because he kept spending more time Rayne instead of studying... And he was okay with it. In his dream... @Cami

Rayne stared at Caspar for a while as he was asleep. He made the odd sound here and then but it didn't sound like he was in any pain or something alarming was happening so he let it be. After a while he let go of Caspar, almost instinctively. He got up from his position in the cave and stood looking around like it was by command. He grunted when he heard a screeching noise in his head and began to stare at the opening of the cave. It seemed like it was better if he went back. At that moment, Rayne wasn't himself. It was like he was meant to leave Caspar. He looked back and tilted his head in confusion.

@jj9095

In Caspars dream he felt Rayne leaving. He whined a little in real life and moved to try to get comfortable again. His dream changed. Rayne didn't show up to class. Caspar still couldn't study. He kept wondering where Rayne was and started to feel anxious. His body started to sweat. Rayne left him... Rayne left him... Soon the dream disappeared and another started. Caspar was trying to find his mother. His biological mother that had left him. He found her to find out that she left him to take care of Rayne. Caspar without saying a word left them thinking Rayne deserved to be happy and Caspar was all about his books anyway. In real life he was grinding his teeth while sleeping. Soon he was memorizing a book in his sleep like he normally does. Back to normal dreaming. @Cami

Rayne stared at Caspar curiously for a while and crouched down by his side. He rested a hand on the palm of Caspar's cheek before sighing to himself. He looked over to see if there was anything bad in the cave. He sat down next to Caspar once again though he wasn't close to him. He knew what it was at a moment of realization. So this was his duty as a descendant? Hades was never with Athena not one bit, so maybe he wasn't meant to be with Caspar.

"It isn't meant to be this way" he said whilst leaning his head against a rock. Before he wouldn't have really cared but right now as if it was instinctively he knew he had to follow this 'pre-determined' fate that they all had.

"Persephone, huh?" he spoke. The thought didn't seem that appealing though it had some sort of allure.

Adriana entered a classroom - her classroom - and looked at her surroundings. A grin broke out on her face and she walked over to her desk, a skip in her step. She hummed a song, letting her finger slide on the desk as she may her way to the chair behind it; she fell back into it. It was a revolving chair and she couldn't help but swivel in her seat. She glanced at the clock, it being a couple minutes before her class. Adri closed her eyes and concentrated; she was going to speak telepathically to her students. @dakup @RavenReigns11258 @suzumiya42

Good morning, student; this is Eris speaking. Now, don't freak out. I assure you you aren't losing your mind and hearing voices. Well, you are, in your head, but I'm simply speaking to you telepathically; you'll learn this neat trick soon enough. But before that, you have my class! She sent them the location of her class telepathically. Now don't be late! Today's lesson is a real treat. Not the telepathic thing but something just as good.

Lyanete opened her eyes as soon as some voice popped up in her head. She got out of bed ready to fight and then kept listening. "In my HEAD?!" Lyanete turned to Samaria. "CAN YOU HEAR THIS?!" Annoyed that someone could get in her head she didn't wait for Samaria to answer and instead started going through her clothes and changed right on front of Samaria again murmuring on how know one believes in privacy anymore. She brushed her teeth first and then waited on her bed for Samaria with her arms crossed still annoyed. "In my HEAD?!" @savagePEST

Caspar woke up in the cave with a voice in his head. He stayed very still and tried to focus on his surrounding and who was speaking until he realized it was telepathy. He had heard about this. It was in the manual book actually. One of the things they would learn later. He got up and dusted himself off and looked at Rayne. He smiled. "Class time!" He looked down at himself and frowned. "We should probably hurry and find our dorm and see if we can change." @Cami

In front of the students appeared Aphrodite. A pink glow covered the cave as he approach Rayne,he looked at him smiling warmly "You pre-determined fate has absolutely Nothing to do with your love life,if you choose to be with Casper and Casper chooses you then I will see to it that the two of you are together " his voice sweet like honey @Cami

Samaria gently snored, breathing air through her mouth. She was knocked out, the previous day's events exhausting despite how short they were. Her dream was pretty vivid: the childish voice of that Eris lady was speaking to her. But the dream ended when a scream sounded in the real world. Sam's eyelids popped open and she bolted upright, the sudden noise startling her and her heart beat picking up slightly. She turned to Lyanete, who was up and ready to fight. Sam was about to question what she was talking about before the voice continued. "Am I still dreaming?"she breathed, looking at Lyanete. Suddenly, a vision flashed before her eyes and she gasped, squeezing them shut but the vision was etched into her memories.

She pulled herself out of bed, rubbing her forehead with the palms of her hands. She was too tired and confused to take note of her roommate changing in the bedroom portion of their dorm. She went through the same process as Lyanete - except changed in the bathroom. She exited the bathroom after flat-ironing her hair,"I'm as weirded out as you are." She gestured towards the door with her head,"Let's get going for this special surprise."

"Love life?" Rayne questioned. He looked hesitant and eyed him before he scoffed and turned away. Despite his situation and everything, he was still rational minded and couldn't possibly fathom the thought that all this happening around him was real.

"Don't get ahead of yourself..." he murmured negatively. That's right he was a realistic pessimist. He wouldn't let this be a set back.

@Angel Evans

"Ah yeah..." Rayne replied more distantly to Caspar than the day before. He got up hesitantly as he stretched and watched Caspar. So today was the day where everything would begin, eh? It seemed like a lifetime since he didn't sleep a wink. His eyes were a bit red but he could make do with what he had at the moment.

"Come on let's go" he said with more of a smile now. He walked on ahead, this time not talking Caspar's hand or dragging him along. It felt kinda lonely but he could feel an air of awkward rise even though Caspar probably couldn't feel it at all. Love life? He didn't realize he was in love because he'd never experienced it growing up. So this was what it was. Kinda painful.

@jj9095

Lyanete nodded at Samaria. "Sorry about the screaming." She got up still annoyed and decided to take her bow and arrow in case of emergency purposes. She opened the door for Samaria and turned to lock the door but remembered there was no lock. She sighed and walked next to Samaria remembering the picture of the location where they were supposed to go. She put her fingers on both sides of her head and massaged her scalp. "I don't think I could ever get used to voices in my head." @savagePEST
Caspar followed Rayne out of the cave as they finally reached their luggage. Every so often he would look at Rayne noticing he was acting a little different but Caspar shrugged it off. He wasn't worried. Rayne was probably not a morning person. "Our dorms are on the way to the location Eris sent us. We could get there in 8 minutes if we walk quickly and if you follow me. We can both take separate showers but we need to take 4 minutes in the shower and 3 minutes getting dressed. It will take 5 minutes from there to get to the classroom if we run and we will still have 2 minutes to spare. Ready?" Caspar looked at his watch and put the stop watch on ready to time each one to make sure they made it. He was NOT about to be late to his first day of class. @Cami

"Hey, if I was awake before you I would have done the same,"Samaria replied with a chuckle. She eyed her roommate's weapon, but joked,"Just don't go shooting that thing around when we get another mental message, alright?" She followed Lyanete out of their dorm and they walked together to their first class. "Yeah, it's not a daily occurrence when you hear voices that aren't your own,"she replied,"Glad to know that I'm not the only one who's new to all this."

Rayne laughed at Caspar. He'd never seen someone so excited to make his way to class. Most of the time, when he was in a more 'normal' place, he would ditch class so often. The thought of learning from some ignoramus teacher who was only in it for the money didn't appeal to him. Hence why he was self taught in most of his studies and had a completely different view of the world but he didn't mind.

"Right behind you, but don't get angry if we're a tad late. I'm not exactly a descendant of Ares with strength or agility" he laughed as he shook his head but even so he set off with Caspar as they both made their way to the dorm. Halfway Rayne was already taking off his clothes. He was shirtless as he went along.

"Free as a dove, right?" he laughed.

@jj9095

Lyanete chuckled with Samaria. She looked down at her weapon and shook her head. "Nah. As long as mental messages don't take over my body we should be okay. But just incase, get ready to duck." She flashed her pearly white teeth at Samaria thinking it was a good joke. "I'm glad to know I'm not alone too." She looked at Samaria when they were getting close to the class. "I'm glad you ar my dorm partner." She opened the door to the classroom again still looking at Samaria and not what was waiting for them inside the class. @savagePEST
Caspar looked at Raynes chest and had to swallow again but he saw the good idea in it and took off his own shirt while walking very quickly to the dorm. Reaching the dorm he grabbed a towel and automatically started to shower setting his stopwatch again. He got out of the shower a minute early and opened the bathroom door with his hair dripping on the floor and a towel around his waist. "Your turn. Go go go!" @Cami

"Yeah, yeah I hear you" he laughed as he quickly took a shower. He shivered at the cold water, technically he should be used to it but he shivered really badly. Couldn't he just ditch class like always? It would be so much easier.

He hoped out of the shower with his hair soaking. Rather than standing up like it usually does, this time it was all over his eyes and the sides of his face. It was a completely different look for him. He ran around the dorm half naked until he found his clothes and in a hurry put them on.

"Done!" he yelled as he was fully dressed. He looked around for the time and noticed that they only had three minutes left. Yeah he was dead via Caspar if he didn't make it on time.

"Come on" he stretched out his sentence as he took Caspar's arm and ran. He inwardly cursed himself for doing it again. Force of habit.

@jj9095

"Hopefully I'll do my best,"Sam grinned. They walked a bit in silence before Lyanete spoke up, resulting in an awed reaction from Sam. "Likewise,"she replied. She was glad to see that Lyanete wasn't a completely serious person, and especially happy that she hadn't offended her the day before.

They came to a stop, standing before the classroom. "Here we are,"Sam said. She playfully whined when Lyante held the door open for her,"Why do I have to go first?" Still, she was nervous, having no experience or idea of what could happen. She hesitated but, not wanting to be the first to chicken out, sucked in a deep breath and entered the room.

--

"Hello!"Eris said, standing from her seat. She came over to Sam and took her hand. Sam felt pressed down with power and felt this strong urge to do something socially unaccepted; instead, a creepy grin came upon her face. Eris let go of Sam and looked into the doorway, spotting Lyanete. She motioned for her to enter,"Come in, come in. I won't bite. Sit anywhere you want." Sam shook her head, feeling weird, but followed Eris' request and took a seat towards the middle of the group of chairs.

Caspar waited for Rayne while he was showering with anxiety. He was walking around the room back and forth, back and forth, and back and forth again. He kept looking at his stop watch and had to jump on one leg to stop from knocking on the door and telling Rayne to hurry up. He decided to rehearse a poem.

Grey-eyed one, I sing of you,

wisest and most beautiful, relentless Athena,

protector of cities, strong-armed and fair.

From his head the great god birthed you,

dressed in golden armor and bearing a sharp spear.

The holy mountains shook when you were born,

and the earth quaked, and the sea’s dark waves broke against the land.

Even the sun stopped in astonishment at this sight,

this goddess, fresh-born and strong.

Hail to you, Athena, may I never live without the shield of your Protection.

When he was done the door opened and Rayne automatically grabbed his arm and they started running towards the classroom making it one minute early as planned. He stepped both feet into the classroom and breathed hard trying to get his breath back. "We.. .Made.. It..." He looked around to see Eris staring at them with a huge grin and Caspars eyed widened. He looked down, smelled himself, trying to figure out if he forgot something. There was only two other girls in the classroom and everyone else seemed to not have made it yet.
@Cami @savagePEST
Lyanete saw how Eris said hello to Samaria and chuckled. This was an interesting Goddess. As soon as the Goddess turned to her she straightened her back and put on a serious face. She entered the room as beckoned with her chin up and her bow and arrow on her back. "Hello. Nice to meet you." She took out her hand to give to the Goddess. @savagePEST
