It really wouldn't be about "want." I mean... imagine you really were one of the last dozen or so people left of the human race and you were trying to save your species. First of all, you'll need all the anxiety medication left on the damn planet, and second of all... you'd have to learn to get over some of your personal wants/needs/desires. I imagine that would be one of the first "lessons" of the RP. These folks are going to have to travel together and work together if they want to survive, even if they don't like it or each other. No matter how many mellow characters there are, not everyone is going to be thrilled to spend almost all of their waking moments with the diverse personalities left.

BUT, this is assuming that every-character believes that the human-race deserves to repopulate. I mean, they destroyed a whole planet.

They are being saved by these dragons with the intention of saving the human race. Why would the dragons even appear if they weren't trying to save the human race? Why bother? They could simply let them live out their lives on the earth and spend their time/energy on another altruistic quest.


I agree with @KingHink . If people were really against trying to revive humanity I think they'd stay behind (which is kinda boring RP-wise) or possibly would be left behind?

This would lead to some interesting IC conversations on planning and offer interesting sorts of relationship issues.

Yeah, I guess it's more beneficial from time standpoint. A balanced number of males and females is better for gene diversity

There are a lot of ways the roleplay could go, and a whole bunch of aspects to explore. When I accept peoples we'll get a group chat going and start plotting out some events and developments we want to see as time goes on. It's a very player moldable world and I'm excited for all the ideas that shall come!

I think it is a pretty darn cool idea. And would offer plenty of philosophical discussion and drama. And I think it is something we could very well explore as the rp goes on.
