Synopsis
GLASS is a modern-themed superhuman RP about a city known as Hale that has recently undergone structural changes. A private military company known as GLASS has taken the city's law enforcement into its hands and wants to incorporate superhumans as a part of the law enforcement. However, an underground rebellious uprising known as STONE would much rather stick with traditional law enforcement. They also have a burning hatred for GLASS and their seemingly "oppressive" regimes.

[TRANSMISSION START]

"Hello there. I like how you just sort of decided to open this. Anyways, it's probably because you're in Hale and listening to this broadcast. Don't worry, though. This isn't the type of broadcast that tells you to bring out all superhumans. Do not worry, if you're different. A lot of the population, approximately 1.42%, is different. And I admire you if you're different. That's why this new city structure has to be put in place, so more of those who are different can come out and be an active part of the community. It's called GLASS. The system being put in place, that is. And if you're different, I think you'll fit beautifully into GLASS.

[TRANSMISSION END]

The City of Lightning

tumblr_niljw9M0Op1tvuu8no1_500.gif

The City of Lightning, known commonly as Hale, is the large area in which you reside in. It has all the standard city features, including a population of 1.2 million citizens. Combine that with the 1.42% statistic and we get quite a few different citizens.
Who's Different?
tumblr_inline_ndgc0ccRVq1szaa83.gif

Who's Different? - Those who are different have inexplicable abilities, or powers, that no regular person has. Each different individual is usually blessed with abilities in a certain way and have varying degrees of control over it. How they use it is completely up to them, but we have our reason for recruiting these different individuals...

G.L.A.S.S.
tumblr_nw471zclOH1rfd7lko1_500.gif

GLASS stands for the Generally Lax Active Success System. I could not come up with a better acronym for our cause. Don't think of us as a military of enforcers that are taking the city of Hale. Rather, think of us as a...system. The ones that are different in our system live, breathe, and fight by the GLASS codes. The others are officers, armed to the teeth with special equipment to give them enough to enforce the law.
STONE
tumblr_inline_n76mg1Lyuq1sc413t.gif

Psst. Hello. Is this thing on? It better be. Anyways, I've decided that I'm finally tired of this. I'm tired of this GLASS trying to take over your lives and telling you how to live. I'm giving each and every one of you the opportunity to turn your life around right now. Join STONE, the Superhuman Team Of New Empires, and overthrow the oppressive GLASS. It's a tough system to crack, but I'm sure if you're different... it won't be as hard if you all banded together against the opposition. You can do this for me, right? You will fight against opposition, defy their rule, and make this underground STONE society take back the surface.

The city of Hale was a stormy, taciturn, isolated area of civilization. A large city, about the size of LA, stood miles from any other cities. The only way information reached Hale was through the forsaken Commentary that spoke like a religious bell every day at 9 AM and 9 PM.

"Hello city of Hale! This is your nightly commentary! The time is 9:00 PM on a Saturday evening and it looks like we have some special announcements today! The temperature is a pleasant 75 degrees, though the weather is currently drizzling! Current news is that GLASS, our beloved private military, decided that they're going to have a couple of rallies in the coming weeks to talk about their new safety features for Hale! Be sure to attend the first one, which is tomorrow!"

The female voice on the commentary ceased to speak, and the temperature began to drop outside. Most of the shops were closed on the Saturday in preparation for Sunday, but the one lone shop, Starshucks Coffee, stood open as it always did.

Squit No. 7295014657 "Brent" - Squit Raiding Squad

Well, here they were. Standing on the hard, cold floor in the corner of Starshucks Coffee. It'd taken most of the day to get in here, but they'd made it. Well, some of them had. Like most shops, this place had anti-Squit traps in all the entrances - usually just thin strips with sticky glue smeared over them - which had turned their squad of a few thousand into just several hundred, something that had also removed their ability to talk to each other. Still, he was hopeful. Now they were inside, the prospect of collecting enough food for days was far too great to ignore.

BOOM!

A foot the length of the Empire State Building came crashing down to their right, knocking those closest to it over with the force alone. The squad scattered for a moment, before making the collective decision to run like hell. Thankfully, the foot moved on, not paying any more attention to them. Even so, they all knew they we're no longer safe, as such ran to the nearest empty table, scuttling under it, getting out of sight.

They'd assumed this place would be closed. As it turned out, they'd been horribly, horribly wrong. But this changed nothing - leaving now would be a betrayal to the Swarm (praise Swarm!). They still had food to scavenge, one way or another - there were a few crumbs with them underneath this table, but they were not worthy for the Swarm (praise Swarm!). With this little intelligence, planning wasn't exactly an option. But he didn't care - to die for the cause would be a great honour.

Walking into Starshucks, Ali walked up to the counter. "Hey, guys, I'd like a dark chocolate mocha with an extra shot of dark chocolate and an extra espresso shot with skim milk and 2 shots of vanilla." Ali was a religious coffee drinker. She drank it every time the Comentary came on. Walking down to the area where she waited to pick up her coffee, she started humming a familiar tune.

Stas was on the quick response team, being ranked X was a fun job. Well if you liked being shot at it was, he was cleaning his SPAS-12. A old shotgun but why try to fix it if it aint broke. His job focused on responding too: Terrorist attacks, violent crime, gang voilence, squirts trying to.... squirts..... just fucking squirts. Atleast they dont have a large heart. He does not want to deal with having to see 1000 heartbeats in one room.
He sat at his desk. Awaiting a call, he stayed at the office, it was his 'home'. Where he stayed the most at least. He was not much a of a deep thinker, he was just a thinker. Solutions, solutions, solutions to difficult problems. One of the things he thought about was how to genocide squirts. He had multiple answers. All of them not too good.

Doctor Gareth
Strolling through the halls was one of Gareth's favorite pastimes. Though he had a small lump each step, paired with the clink of his metal heel hidden within his shoe. He had read a map years ago of the compound, and per usual, never forgetting a inch. Currently he was on floor 7, considered on of the upper floors for GLASS, he found it more quiet and less crowded. Adjusting his glasses, before tucking his hand back in his pocket, he stared glummily at the floor. His office was on floor 9, with a magnificent view and quite cluttered, plus according to his watch it was 9pm, meaning he had been kept up without a stroll for 5 hours. Bloody hell.
Gareth heaved a sigh of bordem as he pulled out his metallic flash, and taking a quick swig. He needed someone to talk to. The lab was quite boring after a few hours, and he had already doctored and talked up his patients today. He'd probably find someone on this floor. Making his way to the cubical area, where most X members were put unless they had a mission, he let his amber eyes scan the room. Finding a head out of the vast sea of empty cubicals, he cleared his throat. "It's 9pm, why are you at your desk and not in the field shooting something?" Leaning against the cubical across from the man, he took another swig of the whiskey, and let his eyes sink in the face, which would be stored who knows where in his brain.

The light rain feel onto her face as she watched on top a roof, watching the night sky. 'It's astonishing how something so small as a rain storm could become the cause of my masterpiece.' She thought, realizing her hand was extended to the sky and she felt electricity stir. She made a fist and pulled her hand away. 'I can't be going so easily into temptation. It shows my need for my power. It makes me look pathetic.' Had she been with her parents still, she would have believed it was the devil tempting her to hell.

She shook her head, clearing her head of such foolish thoughts, pulling her hood tighter, she lept down onto the next building, climbing down the fire exit. Under the cover of the roof, Ji-Hae pulled her phone out. She tapped the screen and a pulse went from the phone to her. 'Damnit. This is the fifth time within the past hour. ' drawback of electricity, her power feed off it. Drained anything electrical of its power. Lee Ji-Hae sighed, walking to the nearest open shop, Starshucks.

Stepping into the thrush hold, she immediately took a table and sat down in a chair, cross cross apple sauce. One leg tucked under the other. She placed her phone helplessly on the table. '4 more mintues and I will try to revive the thing.' She thought, sighing as she took out a sandwich out of her hoodie pocket. Nonchalantly, leaning down and placing a quarter of it on the floor. She shrugged and sat straight back up. She didn't know if the Squits where here, but this being the only shop open she assumed they would. She wasn't heartless.

She waited patiently for the girl at the counter to leave so she get a straight black coffee. She realized she knew the girl from headquarters. 'A Cadet by the looks of it. I know names of the X's.' She thought. Shrugging and turning back to her lifeless phone. She put her finger on the charger slot, her eyes swirled colors and a pulse of lighting escaped her finger and into the phone. It vibrated to life and she smiled in a small relief. Easily typing in her very long password in. 'Nothing new. Guess no needs me.' She shook her bored.

Stas looked at Gareth with heavy eyes "I have yet to get a call, and i slept in. So i have nothing better to do except stay here": Of course the sleeping part was a lie. He sleeps maybe 4 hours a day. "Why, do you have a problem with me working extra?" He says putting the final peice on his SPAS-12.

Squit No. 7295014657 "Brent" - Squit Raiding Squad

The ground began to shake again. Someone was coming. The whole squad clumped together, searching around for danger, and the usual impending doom. But, bizarrely, it never came - instead, the legs that had been moving towards them stepped up into the sky, and rearranged themselves in some weird fashion. This was... strange. He didn't like it.

And then it only get stranger. A hand descended from above, opening up only to reveal a cruise-ship sized chunk of food, and then retreated back to where it came from. Now, a Squit's brain, at its simplest, is designed to do two things - collect food, and avoid death. Of course, when the two conflict, they choose to collect food over avoiding death, something that has made them both easy to kill, and difficult to get rid of.

As such, several hundred Squits crawled out from underneath the table as a crowd no bigger than a postage stamp, and piled silently onto the sandwich piece that was lying, exposed, in the middle of the aisle.

Unfortunately, having lost so many of their number in the last few hours, there was no way that they'd be able to consume all of it. Or even half of it. Or a quarter. But even so, they piled on top of each to get at it, many of them finding their way inside of it, searching out any sugary or starchy material. One climbed up on top of it, surveying the area.

He could now see the person who'd bestowed them with this - whoever they were, they had clearly been sent by the Swarm (praise Swarm!) to reward them for their faithful actions and sacrifice. Perhaps they were not a threat. Otherwise, he could only see one other person from here, someone with bright red hair. She was quite far away for now, and facing the opposite way. Hmm. Not a problem for now.

He knelt down and started stuffing his face with the light, fluffy stuff, shoving the starch into his mouth.

He excitedly pulled out a lighter and a can of bug spray. "Idiot, don't do that." Yvelle laughed at Shaun as she handed Alison her coffee. "Here you go!"

While Yvelle was handing Alison the coffee, Shaun decided to investigate for Squits in the first place. He continued to comb the room, walking back and forth until finally, he found them. When he located the sandwich piece, he smiled down at the little pests. "Yvelle, found 'em!"
"Shaun, no, don't use the lighter! You idiot!"

It was too late. The idiot pulled out the lighter, bug spray, and pressed the top. "Ladies, clear the area! Squits infestation!"

Location: GLASS HQ
Commander Unwin Cardinal
In the top floor of the tall HQ building of GLASS was Commander Unwin Cardinal. He was only there to replace the old commander, who was his father. That meant he was in charge of some seniors. He placed the metallic plate onto the sides of his head and turned on the modulator. At the same time, he dropped to the ground on his feet. The gravity field he made was now finally under control.

He was clearly tired. Circles under his eyes, and the fact that every few steps was interjected by a yawn, were all clear signs of his tiredness. Cardinal made his way past the cubicles over to Dr. Gareth and Stas. Despite being command, he still referred to subordinates by title.
"Hmm, it is indeed an odd time for both of you to be here, in fact. Doctor Gareth, I don't expect you to be anywhere at this time, but why the cubicles of all places? It's downright boring." It wasn't unusual for Cardinal to speak like this. "Anyways, I do have a mission for whoever is up for it. I'm going to host a rally tomorrow to show everybody what exactly we're about, but I've heard, ehm, this girl has plans to strike an attack during this time. And I'm sure it's not just her, but it's probably her whole STONE team." She held up a picture of a young woman who looked like a college student. Except nothing about the image said 'college student.' "I'm going to need a full combing of the streets to make sure the Strike Team is out of sight. Doctor Gareth, Stas, I'm entrusting you two with the task of locating all active GLASS members and performing this combing. Should you run into any STONE members, they are to be taken alive. We don't want any accidents ruining our reputation."

Christine Winters
On top of one of the crates in the shipyards lay Christine Winters, sleeping peacefully on the hard metal. She awoke at the sound of the Commentary. Stretching, she grabbed her clothes and hopped off of the crate and dropped to center of the shipyard in one swift motion. After donning her attire, she surveyed the several different metal crates around the shipyard.

STONE had a shipment of heavy metals and kinetic weaponry inbound at 11 PM. Christine obviously wanted to touch the stuff first, but she'd rather have the Strike Team on hand to help unload. "If you guys are here, now would be a good time to come out," Christine muttered under her breath as she put two cupped hands up to her lips.

Tweet-Tweet Tweet! Tweet-tweet! Tweet!

A high-pitched, repeating whistle rang out from her hands, signaling all the STONE members in the shipyard for a meeting.
"Come on everybody, wake up if you were sleeping." Christine was very well aware that, despite it being night-time, many STONE members slept throughout the whole day, especially on shipment days like today.

Stas nodded. "I'll comb the downtown docks and market place. Id imagine they would buy weapons from there." He says getting up from his chair. He sees a squirt on his desk trying to eat s piece off of his saltines that he ate earlier out of the corner of his eye. He grabs a jar from under his desk and traps it in a nearby jar (that he keeps just for the occasion) and looks back to Unwin "Sorry, it's like playing Sims when you put a bunch of them in a habitat" he chuckled and puts the now trapped squirt on his desk. "I'll radio in if I see anything." He grabs his handgun and walks off, going into the elevator

"Thanks, Yvelle!" Ali said, paying and walking away. "Shaun! You... You... Pffbtfbt... I was gonna sit there!" Walking away towards the door, Ali pushed it open and went to one of the patio tables. Sitting down, she took out her phone and started going through her social media websites and apps, then went back inside to finish her coffee after about 5 minutes. "Are you done burning everything now, Shaun?"

Ella Ashton

Ella was sitting on a bench, tormenting a couple of squits she found nearby. The little guys were absolutely hilarious! Blowing on them made them act as if a sting typhoon had just hit and splashing water on them made it seem lile a tsunami just hit them. Oh she could do it for ages! She actually has some at home, caged up in an altered ant farm. She finds it so hilarious how they seem to revere her whenever she feeds them. Te fact that they look like people made her feel even more powerful, the lives of these creatures at her very fingertips.

She was at the midst of popping them beneath her feet when she heard Christine calling out. Ella stood up and headed toward Christine. There must be a mission if Christine was calling everyone, and missions are always fun. Well, some are boring, but the interestjng and fun ones are always something to look forward to. "Hey, why don't you shout louder, GLASS might not be able to hear you if you just shout ghat loud." The girl called out to Christine, doing it for no reason other than to do it. "What are we gojng ondo today? We gonna rob, kill, or destroy something? Please tell me it's destroy, that always hits the spot."

Matilda was sitting in the corner of the bustling coffee shop, sipping tea and reading a post-apocalyptic novel. She was lost within the throws of adventure when her comfortable little bubble was punctured by the barista's carefree, childish voice.

"Squints infestation!" the boy called out, enough firepower in his hands to burn the shop down. Tilly snapped her book shut with an irritated pout. With a subtle mental tug, she made the lighter fall from his hand and clatter onto the floor. She watched confusion flash across the boy's face, and she rolled her eyes. It never got old.

She stood up, brushing imaginary dust from her jeans and straightening her flannel shirt. Hugging her book to her side, she headed toward a quieter corner of the cafe. She caught a girl calling out the pyro-boy, and she chuckled.

"He was done before he started," Tilly joked to the girl.

Tilly smiled at her, her previous irritation gone in light of meeting someone new. As the Ali talked, she felt what could be compared to as a subtle zap of electricity touch her mind. Her sixth sense picked up on it with ease. It was an uncommon experience for her to have, but she knew what it meant.

This girl was different.

She didn't know how or why, just that she was. But Tilly didn't let on that she knew; it was a personal detail that no stranger could have known. And for that matter, she didn't want to let on that Tilly was different either. And so, she pushed the thought from her mind and focused on Ali.

The friendly smile she gave back to her was genuine. Powers and politics aside, she loved meeting new people. "Matilda," she responded. "Nice to meet you, Ali!"

Ji-Hae sat quietly. Staring blankly at the phone screen waiting for an update or mission from HQ. She sighed, clearly agitated at having nothing productive to do. She had already finished all of her training exercises, plus the rain was a nuisance when it came to training. Causing her to over calculate her jumps or steps.

She watched as the Squits piled on to the quarter of the sand which she placed. She reached down and put a protective glass jar around them, straighting up just in time as Shawn made a makeshift flame thrower with bug spray and a lighter. Not an electrical one either. Shame.

When he finished , the glass stood in harmed, as the lighter fell from his hand.. "Shawn. How about you go get me a straight black coffee and I deal with them when I head out? Mkay?" She said, her eyes not leaving much room for questions. She watched as Ali yelled at him then another C go talk to Ali. 'I doubt complaining will do her much good. ' she thought, shaking her head, stil glaring at Shawn.

She turned to her sand which she kept, and contined to eat in her silence. Occasionally scanning the room with the corners of her eyes. She was not one to argue, but she had a small level of sympathy for the creatures, which many found the small emotion astonishing, considering she cared for no one else. I mean why not feel bad for the tiny creatures who only wanted to live?

He burrowed into the bread slightly as he ate, his body growing slightly as he did so. It wasn't amazing material, but it was decent - certainly better than what they'd been eating outside. Even with the several hundred of them eating at once, they'd only now started even making a dent after a minute or two.

And then, yet again, the ground began to shake. But this time, it was different. Faster, more directed, and... coming right this way.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Some of the smarter of the group had already began to run off, perhaps already knowing what was coming. He stayed put, simply not knowing any better. But then, something unexpected happened yet again. A giant glass barrier appeared around them, protecting them from the flames that roared down, lighting up the entire sky for a few, terrifying seconds. Those who'd ran had found themselves on the wrong side of the barrier, getting slightly singed in the process. Yet even they survived, the flames dying down prematurely, and some kind of object dropping to the ground near them.

The Swarm (praise Swarm!) was clearly looking out for them today. Those fortunate enough to be inside the jar continued their meal, although some occasionally glanced around cautiously. The few dozen or so who'd ended up outside, however, attempted to force their way back in for a couple of seconds, before scattering off in all directions, the imminent threat of death more than enough to keep them running.

He made his way up onto the desk, forearms pulling him and over the side. There was food here, he knew it. Good stuff too, most likely. He scuttered along the surface-top, hunting it out. Forward a little... forwards a little... right a bit... and there it was. Crunchy, crumbly goodness. He pushed his face into the nearest crumb and starting chomping down, stuffing his face.

...And then it all went wrong. The walls closed in from above, and suddenly he found trapped in some massive glass structure. Mildly confused for a moment, he crawled around aimlessly. It was difficult to make out what was going on outside, the glass distorting the light coming in, but it seemed the danger had passed after a few moments. With little else to do, he continued chomping on the crumb he'd still been holding.

Squit No. 12593820522 "Jerry" - Dock Scavengers

This was bad. The simple run they'd been doing to pick up leftover food from the docks had gone horribly, horribly wrong. On paper, it'd been perfect - go in late in the evening, when everyone had already left. But, of course, they hadn't counted on... her.

The girl had already wiped out most of their number, splattering their bodies over the pavement. She'd insisted on terrorizing them before killing them, though. Just a few moments earlier, she'd been raining down water from the sky - not quite enough to drown them, but enough to throw them around helplessly. Some of them had even been washed away entirely, flowing miles downstream, never to be seen again.

Now there was just a few of them left, soaked and exhausted. He looked around, desperately looking for somewhere to hide. But of course, there wasn't - they'd been caught out on open ground. So instead he looked straight up, to see the girl seemingly looking straight at him, smile on her face. His world was plunged into darkness as the shadow of her foot passed over him. This was it.

The foot came crashing down, instantly causing most them to pop, insides splattering and soon to become nothing but a small red smear on the rubber sole. But there was one who'd survived - his legs had been instantly pulverized, but the rest of his body had been caught between the treads of her shoe. He waited for the next move, for her to end him.

...But she never did. Instead, the weight above him shifted, he he found himself being lifted into the air. The relief was short lived, though as he was slammed down again, and then lifted again, then dropped again, and on and on and on... He struggled to even remain conscious through the crazy roller-coaster.

Connor Morton "Booster"

Connor was woke up by Christine's call, rolling off the makeshift bed he'd set up. Well, 'bed' was generous - he was just using his bag as a pillow, and a fireproof blanket to the pad the ground a little bit.

Ugh. He already knew what she wanted them to do - the usual unloading shtick. Well, the Strike Team could handle it. They were trained for this kind of thing, right? He didn't really need to get up, not yet. Unfortunately, the choice was taken out of his hands by the other Fork members, who swarmed out of the shipping container they'd been squatting in, 'eager' to help. Suck-ups.

Still, it was enough to wake him up properly, so he sat upright, rubbing his eyes. Even if he was up, that didn't mean he actually have to work. Because, really, when they had telekinetics who could do all this stuff with just a thought, what was the point of him getting involved? He'd probably just get in the way. So, instead, he stood up, and merely leaned against the side of the entrance of the container, watching the others buzz around, trying to look busy. Suckers.

Doctor Gareth
"I don't like your attitude, better change it quickly before I send my titanium leg to somewhere unpleasant." Gareth would've continued, by he saw a familiar face out of the corner of his eye, Cardinal. Rolling his eyes as he took another swig, he had a strong distane for the man who never stood him in the fight. "A walk is a little more entertaining to me than fixing some broken gun one of you recruits screwed up." The rest of the man's words flew between his ears by choice, side affect of the whiskey. He had the choice if he wanted to ignore the information and completely not remember.
Gareth would let this X run the case, it wasn't much of one anyways. "Take the lead. Just delegate the shit you want done to me and it'll get done."

Stas chuckled "Yea yea old man. Just keep on drinking" he says hitting the elevator button and taking a taxi to the downtown market place. it was later in the night so not a whole bunch of people were there. but he still saw a few heart beats.
He inspected the area, stopping by the occasional open stand to talk to the owner. Asking them if they have seen anything suspicious.

Location: Yekaterinburg
A bitterly cold wind swept through the Russian city's streets, with the street lights and building lights striking the nighttime metropolis with a briefest of illumination. Along these cold moonlit streets, someone runs with frantic breath and darting eyes that constantly looked behind. The panicked man ran down the back alleys of the city, leaping over icy steel fences and dashing across recently formed puddles as he continues his exhausting run. A man looks to be about in his early to mid-thirties, with receding brown hair and black eyes, with tracksuit bottoms and shirt showing his athletic psychic.

"Where did he go" the man mutters before the sound of a silenced gunshot whispers into the air. Then bullet fired from said weapon, shatter the man's knee cap causing a roaring scream as the man falls over intoxicated in pain. As the pain shoots through the man's body, a figure approaches him. The figure is wearing a black suit with black gloves and a silenced weapon in hand. The figure walks until he looms over the man on the ground. "You kill an agent of ours allow me to show you the error of your ways," the man says in a cold tone as the raises his gun. Before the man can blurt out any sort of excuse, a bullet greets him to his grave. The cold eyes of death looking up at him give are eyes he's seen many times before. Walking off Johnathan Scott simply puts the silenced pistol away.

A car arrives outside the headquarters of the Generally Lax Active Success System. GLASS. Johnathan could respect what they wanted to do, after all, he of all people knew you had to go a great distance to protect people. Still, he wasn't above occasionally questioning what he fought for. Going to the door he sees Stas leave then building. Stas was someone he could respect is not fully trust, he does have a hothead streak in John's opinion. Not saying a word Johnathan takes the elevator up to the floor, ready to check in with the sub commanders about his successful mission.

Stas comes into the docks. He sees 8 heartbeats. Quite a few seem to be in stress. He peaks around the corner and sees deal going on. Weapons, he doesn't see any known STONE operatives. But they may be disguised (open for interaction for anyone who has a character)
He leans into his phone. Texting Unwin "I have eyes on a weapons deal. Should I intervene. Send backup if any is near by"

"That's not fair. Seriously." Shaun grumbled as he picked up the lighter and pocketed it. He stalked off to the back, bumping Yvelle's shoulder hard. "Get that girl some coffee." Yvelle winced and walked off, getting black coffee for the girl and handing it to her. "Here you go!" Yvelle leaned in towards Ji-Hae slightly. "Sorry about Shaun. He's a bit of a nutcase." She nodded happily and turned to Matilda. "You must be Matilda Holms. Nice to meet-" At that moment, Yvelle's phone beeped three times, and Shaun came running to her side. "Did you get it?!"

"Yes I did. Alright. X's line up in the front. V's and C's in the back of the triangle. Look."

Sending backup. Do not intervene until backup arrives. Send pictures of their faces if possible. Do not put Dr. Gareth in harm's way. Also sending X Johnathan Scott over.

Unwin immediately pushed his chair in and went over to the elevator. He hit the top floor; the floor for the helipad and waited for it to reach the top. It was clear that now was a time of urgency.

"Wake up calls are harmless. Why don't you stop talking about that? We're just working here in the shipyards after all. Miserly paychecks and odd jobs," said Christine, hastily, in an attempt to cover Ella's mistake of mentioning GLASS in the first place. The Strike Team member probably shouldn't have gone off talking like she did. Christine shook her head. "All we have is a shipment to handle, alright? Nothing's going to go boom or pow or whatever. We just need to unload crates. Now I'm not going to have you do that on your own." Christine picked up a clipboard that was resting atop a shipping container and quickly skimmed through a couple pages of material. "Hey, Morton! Get over here and help us unload!"

In the distance was the long-anticipated ship, pulling into the dock. As it edged closer and cast a looming shadow over the dock, Christine walked over to the edge of the dock (dangerously close to the edge, might I add), and grabbed the rope thrown from the top of the ship. "The back will open up in a second. Ashton, Morton, follow me. We need to have a word with the captain." Obviously, she meant there was no talking involved.

Marcus Reston looked around the ship expectantly, waiting for his allies to climb aboard.
'If only Christine paid me more.'

Stas saw the text appear in his messages and texted him back
"Copy that. I'll try to get some pictures"

He rounds the corner and snaps a photo of the deal. Zooming in on the side paying for the weapons. He sent the picture. It was around 6-9 people there. He sent the picture right too Unwin. Hoping his backup would get there a little quicker.

Joey looked at the cloudy sky through his apartment window. He was fiddling with his phone, spinning it around and around in his fingers thoughtfully. His controller sat on the coffee table, untouched, and his eyes moved back towards the blank TV screen. They would be back, they would keep coming back, and eventually, they would stop Asking. He gave a sigh, glancing down at his watch, seeing the time, they would be knocking at his door soon. "No" He stood up, grabbing his backpack, and leaving swiftly. Into the elevator, down to the first floor, and out into the street. He turned the corner into an alleyway, just barely avoiding a couple of officers who were entering the building. "Not for me" he shook his head, walking quickly, wanting to get far away. Where he was going? Well, he hadn't planned that far ahead.
