that's what I'm asking too.
 
Are they like, aware in the moment even though they're not in control? or do they just become the story version of themselves and then once the scenes over they're back?

I'm currently working on my history, so my thoughts are a bit scattered, but here’s the gist of it:

In the "scenes," the characters will be playing their scripted roles. For example, imagine Seungwoo fighting ten guys. He beats them all up, acts cool, and seems fine—until the "scene" ends. That’s when his true self awakens, and he realizes he’s in immense pain from the fight.

The characters are aware they're in these scenes but have no control over their actions because they're bound to the script, which plays out the author’s story. I hope that makes sense, but let me know if clarification is needed!

The Concept:
During these "scripted" scenes, you’ll roleplay your character as they act out their role. The first arc, *Out of Character*, will explore the moment the characters awaken for the first time and realize they’re in a storybook/script. When the script is active, they’re unable to control their actions, even though they’re aware of what they’re doing. The overarching goal will be for them to find a way to break free from these scripted roles.

For now, the story takes place in a scripted narrative called Love Over Flowers. Your characters’ scenes will align with their roles in the storyline, but you can tweak the prompts to fit your character’s personality.

Example Scenes:
Here’s an example using my character, Seungwoo:

In the script, Seungwoo skips class and gets into fights. One day, a group of 4-5 kids challenges him, and he accepts. During the fight, Seungwoo nearly gets stabbed but dodges and beats the kid down. At some point in the chaos, he "wakes up" and realizes he’s broken free of his character.

Meanwhile, the other characters and NPCs (random extras) are still fully immersed in their roles. Even after interacting with a character who’s "out of character," the next day, they won’t remember it and will revert to following the Love Over Flowers storyline.

Other characters will have their own arcs based on their scripted roles. For example:
- Kang Haeun might be bullied by Min-Ji. At some point, Haeun breaks free and fights back.
- Sohee could be at home, trying to escape from his abusive father/stepmother.

When your character breaks out of the script, they’ll eventually find others who have also awakened, and together, they’ll start piecing things together.

"Scene" Mechanics:
When a "scene" begins, characters are automatically "placed" in their assigned locations. For example, if Seungwoo’s scene takes place on the rooftop during a fight, he’ll appear there when the scene starts.

Decide where your character begins in the script. For example:
- Kang Haeun could already be in conflict with the [Principal’s son], setting up a rivalry.
- Min-Ji might start by bullying Haeun, while Seungwoo, having just beaten someone up, could appear as a background character with Sohee and a [side character] for an example.

Feel free to customize these prompts for your characters! Let me know if you have any questions or need further clarification.

wanted to ask though, i know for sure sohee knows his fiancee but how are his relationships with everyone else? did you have specific thoughts on that Sign Sign or am i free to reach out with my own? o:
