Realistic or Modern Getting Back to Your Roots

Reilly finds an emptry bedroom and decides to call it home. Leaving his luggage packed inside, he walks out and towards the livingroom he'd seen earlier, but instead it has people inside unlike before. Reilly smiled lightly as he entered the room, intent on being friendly and he sat down on an unnoccupied couch.

Casey sighed when she heard voice and stood up, heading out of her room. She headed. Down the hall, her heavy combat boots making notice with every step. When she reached the living room she noticed a couple of people by the couch.

She took a deep breath and held it, she really REALLY didn't want to do this, hopefully it wouldn't be all for nothing. Thinking about her jet in a pink color send shivers down her back, so Casey walked towards the others, sitting down in the furthest corner of the spacious couch.

Mira smiled and watched him disappear. She was interested in him. He seemed grounded, and nice. She smiled and looked at the tattoo on her wrist absentmindedly, wondering what would come of her being here. She sighed, listening to his guitar from here. She wanted to sing along, but she wasn't very good. She sighed and walked inside her room and picked up her paper.

Liona saw how the two acted sheepishly. She felt that maybe she should loosen up a bit. She noticed that two others appeared as well. She introduced herself to the two newcomers, "Hi I'm Liona," she greeted address the two others who entered before asking, "Has anyone else adventured around the camp yet?" She questioned with a curious smile.

Reilly looked at Liona and smiled lightly and introduced himself, "I'm Reilly. Aye, I've toured, but only a wee bit." Shrugging as he spoke Reilly glanced around the room, content with sitting but willing to move if need be.

Dravin notices the tough looking girl siting away from everyone. So to make new friends he gets up and walked over to her."hello mam"he says softly. He glances at her and could tell she was military.

Mam? Casey bit her tongue in annoyance, but put on a fake smile.. There were just something's she didn't like to be named. "No mam, just Casey or Cade is good enough.. I don't bite though, I'm not like those marine brats." She said with a small smile when she noticed the other was a bit nervous of some sort.

When Skyler hears Dravin and Casey talking she immediately looks up. "What branch are you?" She asks curiously. When she had turned 18 she had thought about following her older sisters foot steps and joining the marines, but though better of it.

Dravin smiled and said "sorry casey ,but i'm a lttle nervous"he chuckled. He then said "my names dravin but you can call me Drav if you preffer". He couldn't help but laugh at the not biting part.

Mira looked up, deciding to hum a bit. She suddenly started singing a bit. "But I'm only human, and I bleed when I fall down, I'm only human." She sang, not the best ever. She sighed and kept drawing her picture, tracing the lines carefully. She looked at her wrist and drew the same tattoo on the girl's wrist.

"Airforce." Casey said as she looked at Skyler. "I'm a fighter pilot and did some years with the marines too, but the plane is a bit more fun. Do you serve too?" She asked. She might as well start a conversation.

Seeing that conversation struck up within the room Liona help but smile a bit more. Hearing that Casey was was within the armed forces. She wondered if Casey had just gotten back from base and came here during her time off. "Do you enjoy your field of work? And did you come here straight from base?" She asked stopping herself from rambling on as a hint of curiosity resounded within her voice. "Also I apologize if I cut anyone off." She stated realizing Casey asked Skylar something.

Avi stopped abruptly noting the girl began to sing in her room, which in turn made him smile. He put the guitar in the corner and got dressed in something more relaxed than a leather jacket. With a new beanie, flannel shirt, and some jeans he walked out of his room. With a couple knocks to Mira's door he walked past, heading down the stairs.

Skyler shakes her head. "When I turned 18 I was going to go into the Marines like my sister did, but I decided not to. So I went to college, and I now work in the Crimes Against Children Unit for the FBI." She says, smiling slightly. She hated what she saw on her desk everyday, but at least she got child rapists, kidnappers, and killers off the street.

Dravin not liking being around a lot of people simply got up and walked away slowly. His smile faded into a blank expression and he walked outside wanting fresh air.The sun beaming down he found a tree to sit under for shade and so he sat down just looking of at the sky.He liked to do this ever so often to remind himself just how big the world was.He then felt a leaf fall onto his shoulder he brushed it off and saw it blow away due to a soft breeze of wind coming past him.

Mira heard the nocks and got up, walking to the door. She opened it and looked around, not seeing anyone at the door. She looked around a bit, trying to find the source of the nock. She got a childish glint in her eyes and walked downstairs, her feet thudding the ground. She smiled, jumping down the last of the stairs. She smiled, her sketch book in her hand. She looked around at everyone, but she had a feeling Avi was the one to blame for the knocking.

Casey just nodded in understanding, she knew what kind of files the FBI got on children crimes and it wasn't a pretty sight, almost as bad as war. Then Casey turned towards Liona with a small smile. "I love my field work." She said to the other with a happy glint in her eye. "There is nothing better then being outside in the air going faster then sound. I'm part of a special squad so we get out quite a lot so most of us stay at base, but since I'm the only one without a partner they send me here, threatening me that they will make me a flying target for the rest of my life. We already lost enough members, so I had no choice but to come here... How about you guys?" Casey asked. "Did you sign yourselves up or did someone else do it for you? My team only signed me up because I love my jet and the air too much, I haven't left base really in the last three years or so, if you don't count the missions and deployments of course."

Avi had passed the group with a wave and smile, heading to the kitchen behind them. The bar gave a full view of what Avi was doing, making a sandwich, not very exciting. He noticed Mira had heeded his knock and gave a wave over his shoulder, still focused on the contents of the fridge. The group was very chatty, and he would have joined them if they weren't talking about work. He still had a feeling Mira knew his occupation which put him at risk from fangirls like usual.

Skyler nods her head and runs her fingers through her hair. "How often are you deployed?" She asks, obviously interested. She flew around all the time, but never to different countries. When she asks about the other people's jobs she looks around the room, waiting for them to answer.

Listening to the groups conversation, Reilly half sighed. They all seem to have good or honourable jobs, and here I am, the Irish bartender. Reilly still listened to the conversation, but then decided he could go for a small drink and he'd take it to his room and unpack. Standing up and walking to the kitchen, Reilly nodded to the other who was making a sandwich and Reilly dug through the cupboards and on top of the shelves. Saddened at the lack of alchohol, Reilly grabbed a soda, not caring what kind and cracked it open.

Mira smiled and walked towards the kitchen. She had skipped breakfast this morning, but she did that a lot. She smiled and looked around the kitchen, looking for some food. She saw jam in the fridge. She reached over Avi's shoulder and grabbed the jam and placed it on the counter. She smiled and started toasting some bread.

Casey pouted in thought. "Depends on the situation." She said eventually. "I've been deployed four times in the last six years or so. Usually it's not that long, but I just came back from Afghanistan two months ago after being gone for two and a half years." She sighed. "My team is pretty quick so we're usually not gone for more then a couple of months. We've been really active around Israel for a while too. So we'll have to deploy again in a couple of months if everything goes as it does now."

Dravin gets up and begins to walk to his room.Hearing all this talk of jobs on his way there bothers him.He doesn't know why it bothers him maybe its because he hasn't ever needed a job ,his parents took care of him since they were beyond well off when it came to money. Dravin gets to his room opens the door then slams it shut and he then lays down on his bed just staring at the ceiling fan.

"Mm toast, not very adventurous this morning are we." Avi gave a smile as he looked up from the fridge, but his attention quickly returned to the assortment of items. He settled with ham and cheese, seeing no condiments seemed to fit him. With the bread in, guess where, the bread box which was removed. A plate held his two slices in place as he made alternating stacks of cheese and meat.
