Realistic or Modern Generation 8

The tracker hissed and threw Danny off of it. The knife was stuck in its side under the ribcage. It whipped his arm around and clawed Brax in the chest. Jonathan got to his feet quickly and drew one of his pistols and fired a 9mm into the creature's skull between the eyes. Blood exploded from the creatures forehead and it fell motionless onto the ground. It was dead. Jonathan tried to catch his breath and 6 more emerged from the woods all wearing silver collars around their necks.

"Fuck," Jonathan whispered. He holstered his gun and pulled a hunting knife from the belt. "To the house! Move it soldiers!" Jonathan shouted throwing himself up into the are and scouting the area to get a generalization on where all the trackers were.

Brax nodded and shot out of the water, dashing back to the cabin. His enhanced speed caused the wind rushing past him as he ran to kind of dry him off. His ability to feel the electromagnetic signatures of others indicated that Trackers were all around. By his count, there were enough Trackers for everyone to take one on...perfect.

Everything seemed to be happening in a blur, he couldn't tell how or when, but he was running, feeling the ground pounding beneath his feet and to cold wind slapping his warm skin. Why were they running if they would just have to fight? It didn't seem to make any sense to him as he kept running, daggers still in hand. He could feel his fangs poking through, sensing the danger, he was ready to fight he stopped running. He glanced back looking at the trackers; stopping dead in his tacks, skidding along the loose soil, before turning his body and running head first to one of the ugly beasts. One bite, that's all it needed, one bite and then the tracker would be dead; then there would be five more to worry about.

Danny grabbed hold of the tree and threw herself onto her feet, sprinting inside without a second thought, besides how the knife didnt stick deep enough and thick bodies must be compensated for. She grabbed all her supplies and threw on her full clothing

Brax hopped in the cabin through the window and threw on his backpack and grabbed his staff. "Harley, Tony, it's time to rumble." He says to Harley and Tony before hopping back outside. Seeing the trackers now surrounding the cabin, he readies his staff, ready for action. he eyes down one of the trackers, picking it as his target.

Harley was ready to attack Brax, believing that he was one of the trackers. However as she saw the familiar face she stopped herself and ran outside after him, going after her own target, jumping up and ripping at it's skull with her sharp claws. The screams were terrible begs for mercy, and that was the energy that she fed off of. It was beautiful, to feel her claws rip through the fragile flesh letting her beast run free, bathing herself in the blood tat was shed (metaphorically of course).

Ian, being as scrawny as he was compared to a tracker, well, it wasn't as easy to take on one when the only useful ability at the moment was to bite, yet he couldn't even get close with the fat lip now growing and a bruise forming under his eye as he tried to stab the creature with his dagger, but pinned down too harshly, being pounded by it's large fist repetitive times leaving blood staining his face. It stopped for a moment to growl down at him, which is when Ian took his shot and quickly stabbed the dagger into it's side, though it didn't seem too effective.

Danny looked to see the trackers, plotting. She took a small group as victim. With razor wire, she climbed the cabin wall and threw the wire connected knives to distract them. Wires unseen, and each weaving closer to her until it was evident where she was. As they leapt at her, the wires sliced through their bodies with ease. She retracted the wires and crawled off the wall calmly.

Brax charged at a tracker as it growled harshly. He worked his staff like he was in an old action movie and slammed one end of the staff into it's face. This had no effect, so Brax then jabbed the tracker's knee with the end of his staff, popping the tracker's kneecap and making it whelp in pain. On instinct, the tracker swung its arm and sunk a claw into Brax's arm. He cried out in pain, moving away from the beast and holding his arm. He then swung his staff and smacked the tracker across the face, blood flying out it's mouth as it fell to the ground. He tossed his staff aside and jumped on the creature, and with one focused strike, slammed his fist into the beast's skull, making a cracking sound. The beast is now dead.

Quickly, Harley killed the first tracker and was on to her next, feeling it's calloused hand under her throat as it tried to choke her, she only laughed, and though it was weak she laughed; not in the slightest intimidated by the thing. She wrapped her hand around it's meaty arm and sunk her claws in deep to his warm flesh. She was fine in a fight, the blood that stained her hands and clothes showed that, seeing as none of it was her blood. Harley was easily released, and she wiped a claw against his throat, blood spurting everywhere. She turned, holding the mans head and snapping it until she felt the bone break within his neck, a satisfied smile on her lipstick colored lips.

Ian got the chance and took it, sinking his fangs deep into the creatures hand, letting the venom within his teeth flow into the others blood. He hated to do such things, the violence was what kept him up at night, the fact that he killed a living thing, it was not pleasant. Ian hated it, he'd rather his old life with his parents that didn't want him, or at least adopted somewhere and in a foster home. It didn't matter, anywhere would be better than here. He stumbled to his feet, a little lightheaded from being punched so hard in the head multiple times, and he was very caught off guard when another came from no where and tackled him off his feet, causing him to drop both daggers giving him no advantage to the fight he was about to go up against.

Caught off gaurd, danny was attacked from behind. Usually nothing gets past her, however there were already many tracker presences in the area. It muddied her instinctual radar. She creature sunk its claws into her back and prepared to finish. She was pinned and out of options. Unfortunately calling for help wouldnt work in her case. She sliced its leg and hoped for the best

Seeing both Danny and Ian were in trouble, Brax was called to further action. He tossed his staff like a javelin and knocked the tracker off of Ian as he tackled the one off of Danny. Brax couldn't stand seeing his comrades in trouble, this only made him hate the trackers more.

Jonathan swooped down and ripped the creature off of Gabby's back and threw it with all his strength into a tree. "Die you beast!" Jonathan shouted piercing the monster's neck with his knife. He pulled his knife from the creatures neck and ran towards the cabin to protect the others. He kicked open the cabin door and threw his duffle bag over his shoulder.

"Soldiers! Hold your positions! Protect the base at all costs!" Jonathan shouted sheathing his knife and folding his wings over his body for protection.

Danny wasted no time, quickly getting up despite holes in her back and taking hold of a scalpel sharp knife. She tjrew heraelf at it while brax distracted and slit its throat, watching its head roll and its blood rain down.

Brax got to his feet, rushing over and helping Ian up as the creature was distracted on the ground. He started reaching for his staff before realizing it's over by the creature as it was used as a javelin. He cursed under his breath.

Danny saw the staff as she turned the area around her into a danger zone. Using razor wires the trackers would fall to pieces on contact. She lifted a blade to hit a tree as they ran at her and somewhat like a trip wire their legs sliced off.

Ian leaned heavily onto Brax for a moment before he picked up his daggers from the ground. He held them tightly in his hands until his knuckles turned white, he could see Brax eyeing his staff and so he looked to him through the blood that dripped down his eye from his brow, "I'll distract him, you get it," he said not giving him any chance to say yes or no, charging right at the creature. Both daggers slicing on either side of its sternum, pushing hard he hoped that one of the two blades he weilded would have pierced its heart, just to be sure, he bit down hard on its collarbone, despite the pain from it clawing at his back.

Bright lights from atop 3 army hummers pulled up to the cabin surrounding the teens. the trackers stopped attacked. There was a loud booming voice from a megaphone and the trackers retreated to behind the army vehicles.

"Children! Stop this fighting and return home to us. We miss you at the facility. We created you children and we can unmake you just the same. Give yourselves up or we'll have no choice but to use lethal force," the voice was all to familiar. It was the voice of Dr. Peter Adams. He had send his troops out and they where using speakers on the hummers to blast the Doctor's voice from an iPad in one of the soldier's arms. The doctor was still in his office and using some sort of video chat to be in the woods with his men. The doctors men locked the trackers into human sized cages in the back of what appeared to be an ambulance. The men who're camouflage and all held an assault rifle. The group was fucked all they had were knives, except Jonathan who had his semi automatic pistols.

"We're never going back Peter! Never!" Jonathan screamed drawing both of his guns and flying into the air.

Brax dashed to his staff, picking it up off the ground. The group only had knives, Brax's staff and John's guns. And of course, a secret weapon hidden in Brax's backpack. He rummaged through it and found a grenade he had stolen off a dead guard from their escape from New Genesis. "Take this you fuckers!" He yelled and armed the grenade. "Everybody get down!" Brax shouted to his comrades as he tossed the grenade out. It landed under one of the vehicles and soon exploded, sending the vehicle and it's men up in flames in the air.

Danny turned white as a sheet. No.. no no no! They cant do this! They got so far and they cant just go back. She sprinted at them, full speed, eunning up trees and coming down through their heads with blades. She easily maneuvered through the spray, killing them off by ghand. If she got shot she was too hyped on adrenaline to notice.

Harley quickly took orders, diving into the house, covering her head with her hands as she fell onto the floor, she wasn't about to question where Brax got the grenade but hell she was glad he did have it. She was ready to kill them all if she had to, save that for another day then.

Ian was quick to get back with his companions, face bloody and more than likely a broken nose, ready for a fight, not giving up the freedom they had just won back, he wasn't ready to give up no, he still had so fight left in him. He watched as the grenade flew in the sky, they would have to leave, tonight if they survived. Ian didn't have much of a reaction time, so he turned on his heel and curled down, at least it would just be his back that got the closest to the blast and not his face. He cowered in on himself, the heat from the blast overwhelming, even to the cold blooded.

Brax was knocked back by the blast, falling in front of the cabin on his back, not injured by it but taken by surprise.

The men ducked for cover when they say Brax throw the grenade. One of the hummer's exploded and killed a small group of the mass of soldiers. They opened fire onto the group with there automatic weapons. Bullets went flying out in every direction. Jonathan swooped down and unloaded the clips of both of his guns into the soldiers hitting whatever he could. The guns clicked and he quickly holstered them and drew his hunting knife slitting the throat of one of the soldiers. On his way back up into the sky he was able to steal an automatic weapon off one of soldiers and a grenade belt off an other.

"Retreat! I Repeat! Retreat!" Jonathan belted pulling the pins out of the 6 grenades on the belt. He threw them at the center of the hummers. The grenades exploded the sick wave threw Jonathan down into a tree behind the cabin. 3 of the hummers had exploded and caught fire fire lighting a fallen tree. Within minutes a group of trees where on fire. They had to escape now or they'd bee trapped in the impending forest fire.

Now having more time, Ian stumbled into the house, out of the heat of the blast and was able to collect his things, he looked around at the others and made sure that they were okay before he got his duffle that never got unpacked and ushered the others out of the house and away from the fire, he didn't have time to see if John was alright, or if the others were following, though he was sure they would, they couldn't be caught in the fire or they'd all die for sure.

Brax slung his backpack over his shoulder and grabbed his staff. He quickly trailed off from the cabin, away from the fire and getting to a safe distance. Not sure if the others were okay, he began to have another panic attack as he walked away, after passing a few trees and getting away, he feel to his knees uncontrollably and began breathing heavily. His ability to pick up on electromagnetic signatures of others was muted, disabling him form sensing if the others were nearby. All he could do was suffer from his panic attack.

The soldiers had started to retreat for fear of burning in the blaze. They left there dead comrades with there equipment and just ran or used the last few hummers to escape. Jonathan flew back towards a group of dead soldiers in an attempt to collect more gear, weapons, and supplies. Sure it was stupid but they were all on the run anyways. Jonathan was able to collect 3 side arms, some ammo, and two wallets off the men. They now had credit cards and more cash. Jonathan thew his findings into his duffle and flew towards his comrades in an attempt to escape the burning woods. Trees where burning and falling all over the place. Jonathan's instincts where to fly out of the fire and save himself but he had to protect the others.
