General Discussion

Istar means Rihaly is more experienced, right?

Or do elves see age differently for different races?
Yes , she means more experienced. Purely by years , she knows that she's older than Rihaly possibly could be at least five times over.

Though , I do believe Istar knows when it comes to Elves being so long-lived age kind of is just a number. Rihaly's more of an adult than she is , and hence her thinking of Rihaly as older than her.

I don't think Rihaly has had this kind of conversation with an elf before; I know she knows they're older, but she doesn't grasp their extended childhood. Or she didn't before now. :3

It seems Istar will have to educate her on the Elvish life cycle , then! She'll be more than happy to do so.

I almost forgot my fortitude save , but I just rolled one up and edited it in. It's good she has that Divine Grace or she would've ended up under that DC15 sweet spot for these sorts of things..

Well what ever reason y'all needed the Fort Save for you passed, which means you may never know what it was for. :) *hides behind the DM screen cackling and rolling ALL THE DICE*

Sorry , I forgot to remove the 'I don't believe I'll" from where she almost said something about climbing the crow's nest.

Based on Istar's effect on her? :3

No, but seriously she thinks Istar has a knack for making people feel special and important in the moment they're interacting with her. So they want to live up to their image in her eyes, and want to spend more time around her so they feel that way again.

That's really just Istar's outlook shining through. She sees all life as special and precious , especially all intelligent life. So everyone she meets is special for some reason or another , and with her very genuine nature the other person would have to be emotionally blind to be unaware of that. Sometimes the issue comes when someone realizes she treats everyone as some degree of special (except her Mother and Father , and now Rihaly - they're the most special!) , and take it the wrong way. I'm sure it's very obvious she isn't aware of these facts yet , though.. I'm not sure if she'd act different no matter how acutely aware she is.

Regardless , it's so adorable that Rihaly thinks of Istar like that!

...if I'm second guessing myself and doing badly trying to post with Istar , who's always on the east side to post with , it may indicate I just need to fracking sleep. Sorry.

I'm so so so sorry that post took so long to make , everyone. I'm so very sorry for that. I'll try to be faster getting Istar's reaction out there next time.

Should I change that last paragraph to just have her watch Rihaly , instead of going ahead and having her react to Rihaly's reaction and leaving? I mainly made it that way to move it along a little faster , but admittedly I wasn't too sure of that choice. It may work better for the overall flow to have it without detailing how she reacts to Rihaly'a reaction that hasn't actually happened yet.

Rihaly isn't going to give her a death stare, so feel free to show her reacting happily (but thanks for checking)!

But is Rihaly going to react well? Because Istar's good at picking up on emotions (18 Charisma will grant her that ability) , and she'd be able to tell if Rihaly didn't like her being so open about it.
