Futuristic Gastrea Virus (zombie RP)

"Yea, Yea," Luke said. His suit also picked up on the voice, but wasn't fitted to be measuring vocal distance. "Do you have any sort of reading on who or where the voice is?" Hopefully whoever this was isn't some hostile. They could be of great use to them. Even the dumbest of asses had their use.

"Y'got'it!"

Again, Jeson was cut off, but at least the reaction was mutual. With the man's hand calmly at the hilt of one of the blades, Go took that immediately as some sort of challenge, even without declaration. It was simply his nature, in opposition to the calm (and on-edge) nature of the rest of the gang. Without drawing his weapon, Go rush forward, a barbaric grin on his face as he placed a foot on one of the tables, full on leaping towards the man. With Xi being the closest, Go casually tore away the shovel that Xi had strapped towards his back, swinging it along with his leaping momentum at the man. It first lurched Xi backwards, and then recieved a mutual response from the rest of the group.

"GO, NO!"

With Go making a running start and swing at the man, Jeson would run forward in an attempt to stop. But with Xi on the ground in front of him, the young man's tall stature tripped over and stumbled on the body, grabbing the nearest thing that he could use as leverage, unfortunately, that still being Xi as he fell, grasping nothing but air. In the green-haired man's attempt to stand, he would find himself slung down to the ground by his comrade once again, and the commotion at front would cover Chess' aim, extending a long sigh. Chess quickly reached back into their pocket, and the shard of broken glass would be the first thing that they found, the most recent thing at least. (After you react to Go trying to slam you with a shovel) Chess tossed it up into the air a few times, before they swung it using a fast-ball like grip on the shard, causing it to spin violently, before landing dangerously close near the entrance where the man's head stood, embedding itself into the wall like a knife. There was so much pressure in that single throw, it was enough to lightly make the top of Chess' fingers bleed, but it was a clean cut, nothing more dangerous than a papercut. But in this situation, all too dangerous as well.

"Can you kids stop? Not every heterochromic bastard is like you, Xi, sorry. Besides, we're on the move. A horde could come at any moment, and I rather not have to waste ammo on you rats."

@AceOfSpades0210
Raymond would react quickly to the advance, unclipping the sheath from his belt and raisng the covered blade up to block the incoming shovel. The momentum and force that Go had gained left Raymond pinned against the wall, however their new equal strength left the two locked. He was about to unclip the second blade from his belt with his remaining hand before a shard of glass came flying dangerously close to his face.

The sly smirk still on his face, he leaned in towards Go and partially drew his second blade. "Ah, if only we could fight without an interruption." An unspoken rivalry developing between the two, Raymond would release the second blade and have it slide back effortlessly back into its sheath. "I was clearly on my way out, your friend here is a bit wild, isn't he?" Chuckling, but keeping enough force to have the shovel locked in place. "Now if you could remove this shovel, I'd be glad to be one my way. It would be smart if the four of you did too, with the loud ruckus you just made."

"the voice is female... and whoever it is isn't very far from here." Soma answered as his suit popped up the estimated data. "actually... if we head west from here. we'll run right into whoever yelled." Soma pointed in the direction as he said it. His suit let him know he and Luke were only a few yards off.

@The Unamed Beast

"Oi, you ain't leavin without a fight, ya fucki--hck!!"

Go simply pushed down harder on the shovel, but for the brief second that it happened, the weight of him was immediately lifrted from Raymond. Chess seemed to have taken the time to walk from the counter to him, their fist gripped hard around the scruff of their neck, seeming to dig their nails in as they threw them on the ground. Lightly kicking his fallen form, Chess tore the shard of glass from the wall by his head, simply delivering the young man a
dead glare, before stuffing it into their pocket.

"Sorry about that. Probably. We're out."

"Guh-"

Chess stood shorter than Raymond by about 4-5 inches, though their glare appeared to be cold and condescending. Angrily shoving a can of marmalade into the center of their chest, they seemed to hiss out the words from between their teeth.

"Die an honourable death."

Well, it was some sort of acknowlwedgement, at least? It's been a while since any of them have spoken to anyone, and it's been a while since Chess had spoken so much in general. Waving back to the rest of the group, they quietly opened the door of the cafe, the musty rotten air of the city filling their nostrils. It's not like the broken windows of the cafe did anything either. Jeson bent over and grabbed Go, slinging him over his shoulder, shovel and all. Before he could complain, Jeson delivered a simple salute to Raymond, before following closely behind Chess, who appeared to be unhesitantly leaving behind the rest, whether they came along or not. Alas, that left Xi left, who was still on the ground in a slight daze of what happened.

"... well. I'm sorry you had to experience that, but uh, hopefully out paths may cross some time. It's been a while since I spoke to anyone else, so, thanks."

Quickly rushing up to their feet, Xi waved his way out, having to sprint to catch up with the rest of their group.

"You piece of shit... he's right. There's people coming this way."

"How can you tell?"

"Can't you hear metallic footsteps? Whoever it is is probably wearing some mech suit or whatever. And it's your fault for deciding to stall."

"S-sorry!"

The group found their way through the alleyways and narrow streets of the city, but it didn't appear that they've made it exactly far from the cafe. It's not like they're gods, they're not going to be able to sprint like absolute ninjas while being armed. But at least they could hide under the shadow of the building along a narrow street, which would have concealed them at best. At this point, Go was already on the ground, risking the factor of him yelling if he was still being carried.

"You guys need to stop being yourselves, not in public at least."

"Thanks, mom~"
"Yeah, yeah, dandelion."

"Jeson, get some ground."

Jeson, looking around with what he could work with, swung the rope he had up towards one of the steel balconies that was at the side of the building, rusty and abandoned. Cautiously tugging on it to see if it would fall, the metal didn't even creak under his weight, allowing him to safely climb his way up. Using the walls that were built so close to the other in the city, he was able to scale his way up towards the roof, where he rolled on top of, pulling his rope along with him. Xi and Go still remained on the ground with Chess, who was audaciously listening to whatever sound they could hear. While they definitely weren't the tallest or strongest, they at least has perceptibility on their side.

Raymon stood silent and just watched Chess deal with the situation, almost intimidated of her himself. He blinked quite a few times in surprise, but watched the more physical figure of Go grt pulled away by Chess. He nodded his head towards Chess's farewell, replying with, "Don't die.. I guess.." And grabbed the can of marmalade before it fell to the ground. As he watched the others leave, he waved a hand towards Xi before he left and called out, "Take care of your friends." before he turned the corner to leave. A happy sigh, he chuckled yet again before fleeing towards the street he had entered from.

Now on his own yet again, be continued down the streets to search for some point of interest. Once in a while running into a few undead, he would duck into corners and alleys to avoid conflict. Fighting was the last thing he needed right now, a place to relax on the otherhand would be much appreciated.

"All of them....taller than me...." Gale sighed while sulking. She had spotted a group while scooping out the surrounding area. She decided she better go down anyway, if she can't fight, she's at least fast. And since the ladder had broken on her way up, she could only repel down. So, after setting herself up, she safely got to the sidewalk below.... Who am I kidding? She slipped and ended up upside down. "Damn it....." She looked for the group, but only spotted three of them. "Um? Hello? You wouldn't mind helping me would you?"

Celia ran out of the garage and looked out of the gate. "I can not believe I just did that..." She said to herself with a facepalm. She sometimes let her anger get to her and that was a problem. "Lets just hope those two loudmouths are friendlies..." She said to herself as she gripped her pistols.

"Eep!"

In surprise, Xi's first instinct was to tightly grip onto Chess arm, like a little child. Unfortunately for her, however Chess and Go weren't the nicest people when it came to being startled. Chess immediately spun around, a glock aiming straight for the center of the girl's forehead. With their grip on the gun tight, the lifeless glare in their eyes seemed very willing to shoot. Go had drawn Xi's shovel, which was still held in their grasp, holding onto the handle as if it were a baseball bat, ready to swing. While the both of them appeared ready to hurt the girl, Xi in the back like a timid damsel clutching onto Chess' arm, Jeson was covering his mouth, holding back amused laughter at the on-edge nature of his group. A short girl ended up upside down, somehow, among the group of one of the most paranoid groups that she could have possible come across. She was nearly a foot shorter than he was, from what he could tell of the height comparison between her and Go.

"... you know, she's probably perfectly harmless."

"She was probably stalking us or somethin' dandelion, stop being a fucking daisy!"

While the both bickered, Chess set their locked gaze on her, their glock unmoving in their grasp as it was aimed directly at her forehead. After a moment of their separated silence, Jeson would seem to immediately find his way right in front of the girl, hanging on the end of his rope about 3 inches from the ground. Nonetheless, he held out his hand dramatically, speaking in an overly charm-like matter.

"Mi'lady, it'd be in my good intentions to assist you~"

Fortunately for Chess, Jeson was also in the line of their shot, meaning that if they were to fire, it would gladly hit him as well.

"Why shouldn't I-"

There was a light "clackle" on the ground, and a high impact sniper would have been on the ground, followed with the girls cries. Chess eyes would widen, and almost in a blink of an eye, Chess would have darted forward. Using Jeson as a sort of leverage, they slammed their foot into their back, in which he was facing her, and climbed up towards the rope. With one hand securing them on the rope, Chess immediately swung around and kicked the girl forward away from her weapon, most likely freeing her from being upside down, but at the same time, Jeson lost his own grasp on the rope and ended up falling to the ground, wincing. Pushing themselves off of the rope, Chess rolled forward and grabbed the girl's sniper off the ground, before raising their glock back up to aim at her. Xi would quickly run forward towards the girl that was recently just, kicked down to the ground, nervously shaking her shoulder.

"A-are you alright? Did you hit your head? I'm sorry about my friend..."

Go, while reluctant, cautiously edged themselves towards Jeson, who remained defeated on the ground. Go tugged on Jeson's rope a little, before trying various angles to pull it away, eventually managing to get the weight to fall, unfortunately, on Jeson himself.

"Ow."

"Sorry?"

"Okay..... come closer.." She said loud enough for the two to hear her. She unlocked the fence and opened it. She looked down the road both ways to make sure none of the Zombies heard her. "Quickly before they come." she said a bit agitated. In the yard was a bunch of mechanical devices and old vehicles that looked like they were scavanged for parts.

Gale sighed, "I'm fine, thanks for asking. I'm Viper, uh, you have my sniper, and I have a golden eagle. The reason I'm here? I thought it be better here then a town over." She jumped up, beginning to walk twoards Chess. "I'd like my gun back now. And, for you to tell me what the hell your problem is?"

Soma rubbed the back of his head and just decided it'd be less of a headache to just do it. So he dragged Luke through the woman's somewhat fortifies base. "now i know why the area around the lab was picked clean." He commented, though nothing there looked like it came from the lab itself.

(short replies for a bit. im baby sitting children)

Luke reloaded the shotgun chamber on his pistol and then holstered it. He looked around. "This place seems devoid of any medical material." Rebuilding Sector 5 was second-place to Luke. He was far more concerned with getting medical supplies. They didn't have long until their next encounter, and these guys were the real deal

"Well I am sorry that the hospital got overrun when this thing started." Celia said a bit annoyed as she closed the gates and locked it. "I have medical herbs in the back... though do not ask me how to use them cause I have no idea." She said as she started wiping engine grease off her hands. "There is food on the first floor and sleeping chambers on the second. Now if you excuse me... I am going back to working on the motorcycle.." she said with a roll of her eyes

"My problem? The wiser question be why are you so relaxed around a bunch of strangers. You're the one with the problem here, your common sense is as diminuitive as your height."

Throwing their sniper roughly back, they kept their guard up high, ready to fire at them if they decided to fire off. Around them, the walls were narrow enough for their stature to climb, and they had their gang members nearby the girl if it came to the worst, though Go was bound to back them up if she did decide to get hostile. They slowly backed away towards the street once more, making sure to keep their gaze on the girl, their glock locked. Jeson managed to finally bring himself up with a shiver, and Go would hold out the shovel, letting Jeson grab on so he could pull him up.

"M-mon amour, surely we can spare her some..."

"Remember what happened at the cafe?"

Chess snarl seem to made him flinch a bit, though Go straightened his posture, swinging the shovel back over his shoulder.

"Well, what'do we do now?"

"We're backing out of this one. I'm not dealing with this."

Go turned to look towards the girl Chess was glaring so hostile at, and Xi was still next to the girl, his hands pressed together in prayer. Audibly mumbling apologies, he tried to justify for the actions of the ones he travelled with.

"Sorry, sorry, they act like this a lot! Chess is really, uh, distrusting... and Go really likes fighting so he's pretty fiesty, but they're all good people. Do you need help with something? I can try to help you if you need something, but I'm pretty sure they're pretty uninviting towards strangers..."

Attempting some sort of propisition, his voice was hushed and rushed, curiously peering towards the girl with blue and green eyes.

Soma watched the girl walk off, he had no intention of staying. He was an experiment and as far as Soma was concerned. His only purpose for somehow not being disposed of after the project fell through, was so he could rebuild one of the labs. "Luke, im going to leave this place after a few. if you want to stay..." He left the sentence unfinished since he knew Luke would know what he meant.

Gale easily caught the rifle, and spun it back over her shoulder. "Mind if I tag along with you guys for a while? I don't really know this city, but my parents live here," She said, touching a cut on her head. "Ow." Gale then realized something, "How tall is the red headed cutie?"

"How tall is the red headed cutie?"

"...!"

Chess would immediately shov their weapon back towards it's holster, before making a mad dash towards Go. Everyone seemed to be in a state of disarray the moment that she mentioned height, and Xi would stand in front of her with his hands out, as if trying to calm something. Or someone. Go would throw the shovel violently in Xi's direction, which would cause him to grab Viper by her shoulders and immediately shove her to the side.

"Duck and cover!"

The shovel would strike merely centimeters from Xi's arm, though it struck his jacket, the shovel getting jammed among a crack in the building and pinning him to it. Trying to tug out his jacket, Go roughly drew his sword, a metallic noise ringing out as he nimbly raced towards the girl, a sharp edged sword lined with blood from numerous Infected held tightly among both hands to provide more leverage and ground for him. Swinging it forward, Go felt something rough slam into his stomach, and his slice was immediately thrown off, but it struck against a small section of her ear, causing it to bleed (literally just around the top of your ear, nothing to the head and stuff) and potentially cutting off part of her hair. Chess would slam both their hands against his arms against the ground, making an effort to keep him down, though in their attempts, Go managed to swing their head up and slam into their head, causing them to stumble backwards in a daze, allowing Go to throw Chess off. Using the blade of their sword against the ground like a cane, they immediately jumped back up and made a wide slash towards her, which missed, but potentially cut a part of her leg (not deep, you can dodge). Something tight found it's way around Go's legs, and he found gravity yanking hard onto his head.

"Guh!"

"Chess he's down!! He's down!!"

Violently trying to untangle his legs from rope, Chess slightly disorientedly tore his sword away from him, sending the center of their shoe onto his forehead. Pressing down whenever he struggled, there was only dissapointed grunts from him underneath.

"... die in a fucking fire, bitch..."

"He's... he's 5'3..."

Luke wouldn't see it, but Soma smirked from behind the helmet of his power suit. "i wouldn't die from suicide... maybe." He couldn't really refute Luke since even Soma himself knew his own gunplay was shit. He turned at The women from a second ago walking back over. "unfortunately for you, a car attracts too much attention." He answered, then cocked an eyebrow at the women knowing about the lab. "as for the lab, we don't need files from it. im just trying to scavenge parts so a can get the lab working again. after that..." Soma shrugged, he hadn't yet planned that far ahead. "so if your planning to fix the lab. then you'd actually be saving me the trouble of us doing it."

"Whoa....if it makes you feel better....I'm 4'10," Gale said putting her hands up in front of her, adding a nervous chuckle. "Besides, it was just a question, I wasn't mocking you." She then saw a few strands of hair flutter down. "Oh you did not just do that you bitch!" She exclaimed, "Do you know how hard it is to keep your hair like this in the middle of the fucking apocalypse! Jesus fucking christ on a fucking tricycle!" Despite the current situation of hell on "earth", she managed to keep her hair somewhat decent.
