==> Drey: Enter lounge.

Lounge? No no no no, this is clearly a living room, not a lounge. it has all the things a regular living room would have, so it is indeed NOT a lounge.

==> Drey: Where's Boss?

That's actually a good question...um, disembodied voice. It's been like forever since you last saw him a few minutes ago. Did he bounce? You never EVER new him to just leave you alone, without telling you in person. You wonder where he could be.

==>

*Glowing figure watches Drey from behind the corner.*

Ulrich : Test

You have noticed something about this collection of rocks orbiting this black hole. Gravity is very weak considering there being, ya know, a black hole beneath you. Would it be possible to jump to one of the nearby surfaces? Only one way to find out.

Ulrich : Jump!

You leap across a massive gap and tumble on the ground on another rock. That actually worked. Huh.

Ulrich : Explore

Thats a peculiar bunch of holes in the ground... What could it be...?

Ulrich : Ah!

"Ahhhh!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Ulrich : Observe

The music note shaped beings hover off somewhere.

BP: OH SHIT

BP: FIRE

BP: SO MUCH FIRE

BP: TURNS OUT THAT SUN LASERS AREN'T SUCH A GOOD IDEA

BP: AT LEAST NOT WHEN USED INDOORS

>> Extinguish fire

Through some set of circumstances, your penhouse is engulfed in flames. You quickly pull the fire alarm and extinguish the fire.

BP: Okay

BP: Fire's out

BP: Although I may have just destroyed my computer

BP: Which would mean I would have to use the computer in my cybernetics to run the game

BP: Not really the end of the world

>> Install game

Using the optical reader in your palm, you scan the two sBurb discs and install them on your integrated system. There. That took way longer than it should have. All the other players must have an enormous head start already

BP: Okay

BP: Going to connect as your server now

Ulrich : Pursue

You leisurely follow the note creatures.

"Hey guys, I'm friendly! I promise!"

Persuasion Role...

Nat 1.

Thats how shit you did.

Ulrich : Be Stumped

UC: i FounD somE strAnGE AliEns in my lAnD.

UC: But i sCArED thEm oFF.

@electroShogun

QG: Good good

QG: By the way, odd things have been discovered whilst you were gone.

QG: Which brings me to my next question.

QG: You are human correct?

Well you can never be too sure, am i right.

@Rhodus

QG: Some of our team mates are not.

QG: They represent another race of humanoids known as "Trolls"

QG: I couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw SF.

QG: The only people I have confirmed to be trolls are SF and AT.

QG: The others are currently in a state of mystery.

@Rhodus

Vix: Do something

You decide to go out and get some more Grist. Who knew what it was used for, but you were going to take Fenras's word and look for some. You approach several imps, one of which seemed to have a chest mouth that seemed to be part meowbeast? Huh. You try jabbing it with a quick shoot of your harpoon option, which kills it for the most part. Except it almost survived... These things are getting stronger. That itself was indeed troubling. You were about to return to your computer when you spotted a strange light in the sky. You were too tired to investigate it however and sat on the ground, taking a breather.

BP: Hm

BP: I suppose that's interesting?

BP: I don't know

BP: Xeno-Bio's never really been my thing

BP: But they still speak English though?

BP: That's rather convenient

BP: Or do we speak their language

BP: Eh who cares

BP: More important things to worry about

BP: The biggest of which is that we need to start playing this game

@Kurai Okami

QG: Ah, yes.

QG: The game.

QG: I nearly forgot.

Autumn began to hoot softly again, as if signaling something approaching; however there were to many factors signaling as to what she could be silently freaking out about. Either way, you were too busy to notice. You click the accept button and wait for things to be placed in your house.

QG: Ah, by the way.

QG: Please refrain from placing anything in my room.

QG: I would prefer my living quarters to be machine free for the whole game.

@Rhodus

Drew: sigh

You heave a loud and hefty sigh before a addressing the situation.

QG: Although my house is large.

QG: I have no way to get onto the roof.

QG: And the ladder is in the garage.

QG: Which my pops keeps locked whilst he is out.

QG: Honestly for that I have a few theories.

QG: But now's not the time.

QG: There's an overhang where the attic window is.

QG: With the aid of the ladder I should be able to get up there.

Drew: prepare

You equip your RUBBER GLOVES, and grab your IPHONE.

Autumn!

As you call, she takes flight and lands on your arm, and together you traverse to the attic.

@Rhodus

Drew: Climb

You climb a small portion the stairs with autumn beginning to hoot more sporadically; although you ignored it she seemed to be freaking out.

Maybe you should stay inside.

You place Autumn on the windowsill before grabbing a metal folding chair to smack the cruxtruder with.

Drew: SMACK

You smack the lid of the cruxtruder off, to which it flies off of the roof onto an oncoming car pulling into the driveway. It was your pops, now startled and angry.

bollucks

You murmur under your breath, whilst turning the wheel on the cruxtruder until the green dowel was capchalogable.

QG: Can you delay my Fathers entrance into the house.

QG: I'd rather not delay the games progress through his intolerable rants.

QG: Which he forces me to listen to.

@Rhodus

BP: Yeah

BP: Just a sec

>> Delay

You build small room with no door around the car that just pulled in. That should hold him for a while.

@Kurai Okami

QG: You could have put the alchemeter in front of the door.

QG: It doesn't matter now.

QG: Place down the rest of the machines.

Drew: observe

You stare into the now reddening overcast sky. Nothing struck you as unusual, but it wasn't nearly time for the sun to be setting yet. It was the middle of the afternoon a few minutes ago. You stare at the clock on the cruxtruder wondering what it was for.

12:53

Troubling to say the least.

@Rhodus

Ulrich : Actually Purs

You walk around the strange rock in search of the musical beings. You spot a group of them cowering by the edge, surrounded by the monsters inhabiting your world.

Ulrich : Strife!

You leap and strum your ELECTRO HARP, catching the attention of the monsters. they turn just in time for you to smash your Harp down on one of their heads, shattering the wood-plastic casing and causing an explosion of GRIST. The other monsters pounce, fangs bared and claws out. You swat one off the cliff, but another manages to bite your arm.

Ulrich : Test AA's Theory

After trying to shake off the biter, you decide to bite back.

...

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_01/BLUHUlrich.png.203b39245de30c1c230a07a3b5fe9658.png" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="100494" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_01/BLUHUlrich.png.203b39245de30c1c230a07a3b5fe9658.png" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

BLUH! THAT SHIT TASTES LIKE PLASTIC! AND OWWWW! TONGUE SPLINTERS!

...

That aside, you crushed through the head of the monster, killing it, and causing its allies to flee.

Ulrich : Be Victorious?

You pull the splinters out of your tongue and wipe the plastic taste (and blood) off of it.

"The strange beast saved us!"

"What are you creatures?"

"We are Beats, the natives of LOVAV."

"LOVAV huh? Are these all of you?"

"No. We Beats live in different tribes separated by the gaps between our landmasses."

"The landmasses were once a whole?"

"Yes. But during one of our festivals, we played a tune that upset the Grand Harpist, and he increased the power of the void beneath us, tearing the world to shreds. Now only fragments remain, scattered in its orbit."

"Interesting. And what were those Monsters I just fought?"

"We call them Imps. They are Underlings of Derse."

"I see. Thank you."

Fenras: ?

You hear a noise from the mealblock. You get up and go to investigate.

Fenras: !!!

Strange colorful creatures are making a mess of your mealblock! You slip your claws on and let out a battle cry. The creatures turn towards you, then lunge.

Fenras: Strife!

Vix: Stop sitting around!

You feel motivated by the sudden shouting, and do just that. You see a few sparse imps, ripe for the picking. Except, you hated doing this without anyone. You couldn't even help Fenras correctly without lagging them behind! Urgh. You decide to take out the imps to try and listen to him for once. And do it CORRECTLY. You eradicate the ones near you, realizing how inefficient your weapon was starting to become against these creatures. You decide to question Fenras about it.

Vix: Approach destination!

With a few things on your mind, you approach your Husktop. And at the same time, a fireball comes through and causes the cave to cave in front of you. Your mouth lies agape as you suddenly feel something gnash at your insides and rip something out. You turn to the serpentine creature, your mouth gawking. It seemed to be grinning.

"You just... You just... YOU JUST..! I'LL! I'LL!!"

You start shouting at the creature, gripping your grappling hook much tighter than before. You feel extreme emotion, then suddenly... You break down.

"I just wanted to play this game... And you ruin it by..."

You can't finish, and collapse onto the ground. You feel helpless. Very, very helpless. Unless you convince yourself that you could do things alone, you might not recover. The basilisk lurches over, saber-teeth gleaming. This must be the end. Well, you tried.

Suddenly, a glowing chest appeares and rams the basilisk onto its side. The chest then went over to you, shoves you back onto your feet, and screams at you. Like usual. But, this time, you feel a little more inclined to destroy this creature. So, just this once... You'd do something on your own. Even though you might mess it up.

Vix: Strife, dang it!

==> Drey: Come up with scenario.

Hmmm...Oh, what if Boss was captured by evil monsters bent on destroying the world! He could have been reading his daily paper when suddenly, out of nowhere, they jumped him and toke him as their prisoner! They dragged him all they way to their stronghold and threw him into a cell where he would never be allowed to escape! He'd be trapped! Worse of all, he wouldn't have his CUP OF JOE to help him get through the day! You have to go save him!

==>

Nah, that doesn't sound like Boss at all. You can't even get the jump on him, what advantage would evil monsters have? If he ever got attacked, he'd just probably start handing out paperwork to everyone demanding them written in triplicate. He's kind of strict about his paperwork.

==> Drey: Try think of another scenario.

Oh, uhhh...He could of...Uh...Hmmm, what else could of happened? You can't really think of any other scenario that could've went down...

==> Drey: ponder.

*As Drey stood in the middle of the living room, loss in his train of thought, the glowing figure ceased lurking from his corner and started creeping up closer to Drey. The glowing figure

as it drew closer and closer.*
