"Hmmm..." Riles squinted her eyes as she listened to Kishune's answer. "You're partially right, but there's more to it than that..." tilting her head, Riles wondered whether the Kitsune really knew what their job was, or if he was simply using the information she had already provided.
"Well, we'll be able to talk about it more inside." Riles snatched the keys from Kishune's hand after muttering so, and opened their room. In appearance, it was a simple 3x4m room with a single double-bed, and nightstands on both sides. On the nightstands sat lamps, which were already lit, giving the room an amber glow.
'Such a simple room... Ah, but I guess that's to be expected from a fantasy game, huh?' Riles walked into the room and sat at the edge of the bed, considering that there weren't any chairs in the room. After doing so, she patted the space next to her, signalling Kishune to sit next to her.
"So, where should I begin...?" Riles looked up at the ceiling as she thought out loud. "Ah... First, maybe we should start with introductions?" lowering her head to return her eyes to Kishune's mask, Riles smiled. "Just the stuff that the character-creator had you pick is fine, so... I'll start. I'm Riles, an Imp Mage. My element is Darkness."
With that, she gave a playful bow using her upper half, and waited for Kishune's response.
@Kishune
We'll essentially be talking back-and-forth over the next couple of posts, so there's no need to apologise for short posts. They'll probably be the norm for a little while, after all.
