Gallows

Raven nods at him and then looks at one last time before heading up to the engine room. She picks up her tiara and the dress she arrived in and moves upstairs to the Captain's room to change. She changed into her dress and puts her tiara back on her head. After this she climbs back down the ladder and heads to the food deck. She looks at Gio, "have you thought of the price yet?" She asks quietly, leaning against the wall behind where he sat.

"I want him to free every pirate that he has in those cells if his." He says quietly, "but let's be realistic, he won't do that, will he?" He laughs a little, falsely, "and I also want Genevieves body. But again, he won't have that. He'll have thrown it out or burnt it like some trash. He has no regard for the rituals of the pirates. She deserves to have a proper funeral." He shuts his eyes and shrugs his shoulders, "other than that, no, I have nothing."

Raven looks at him, "He will release all the pirates if he thinks he had no choice. What if we make him believe that's you'll actually kill me, in front of his eyes." She says to him. She looks at the floor, "I can find her body, It wasn't too long ago, I know where he keeps all the dead bodies, if though I'm not allowed near there, I could get us there." She murmurs.

"How do I make him believe that I will kill you?" He asks, finally looking her in the eye and using a hand to move his hair out of his eyes. "And as for the body, if you could find it, then I will assure that no pirate of mine steps foot on your kingdoms land again, and that's a promise." He says and smiles a little, before trying to make his face completely serious. He looks down at the floor and taps his fingers on his knee.

Raven looks at him, "Well I a return looking hurt, or hurt. It needs to look like you're serious and I know for a fact that you could have beat me and lock me in a room but you didn't." She says quietly, "I look to be in perfect health, he won't believe it." She adds, looking at him, "As for her body, I will do my best. And I promise that when the thrown is mine you won't have to worry about not being near my kingdom, I'm not my father." She says quietly with a small smile.

"You want me to actually hurt you?" He says, raising his eyebrows slightly. He wouldn't be able to hurt her without feeling guilty about it, after all she was... Well. He liked her, she was pleasant enough, much more pleasant than most of the pirates that he had. "I would have thought that the unpleasant experience that you've had with pirates would be enough to make you want to keep us out forever, but if you say so, princess."

Raven shrugs, "Not that I want to be hurt, but it would look more realistic if I was. If I'm in perfect health and you say your going to kill me, he'll know you won't." She says quietly before smiling at him slightly.

"I uh... I don't know how to hurt you, without..." He shrugs his shoulders, "I think I shall feel very bad after this." He stands and bites his lip, looking at her. "What... What do I do? I need to know what I can and can't do to make this less unpleasant for you, because in truth I don't really want to hurt you, even if you think I do. I have a soul, you know." He puts his hands in his pockets, drawing out a blade in one hand and looking at it, the light catching off it.

Raven shrugs slowly, "well it's this or you get your crew to hurt me and I'll probably nearly die if they all attack me." She says with a small chuckle, she looks at him that at the blade in his hand. She nods encouragingly, "Unless you know a different way we could do this." She says.

"I don't much fancy hitting you with my fists," he says, "or kicking you." He walks over to her and bites his lip, before putting his blade back in his pocket. "I don't want to do it in the food hall either, it's too public and while yes, people may enjoy me hurting you, I don't much like the idea of them seeing this when it isn't real." He says before grabbing her arm roughly, trying to leave a bruise or something, he glances at her apologetically before pulling her up the stairs and into the engine room, he lets her go. "Climb the ladder," he commands, but in a less harsh tone than usual.

Raven can't help but flinch slightly when he grabs her arm. She nods and climbs the ladder rubbing her arm where he gripped her tightly. She gets to the top and sighs slowly, she didn't like the idea of this any more than he did. She waits for him to climb the ladder and sighs.

He climbs up after her, then pulls her into his room, shutting the door behind him. He didn't lock it, because he didn't think he really needed to. Letting go of her, he pulls the knife out of his pocket and looks at it, then at her. He bites his lip. "I don't... I've never hurt someone without meaning it before. I don't know how you expect me to be able to do this, I don't..." He sighs, then traces the edge of the knife with his finger, before looking at her again. "Where do I cut first?"

Raven nods at him and thinks, for a moment, "My arms or shoulders. They're more noticeable places." She says, she knew what she'd do as he did this, she was going to endure the pain as best she could without making it look painful. She'd try her best not to flinch or whimper or even cry. She stares at him, "We can rip my dress too, that will look bad too." She comments.

"Okay," he says, and then bites his lip as he lifts the knife and cuts deeply into Ravens arm, then again, two deep cuts. "I'm really sorry," he mumbles, before offering her a hand, "if you need to like, squeeze my hand or whatever, you can." He remember that his sister always had to squeeze his hand when she got hurt and her mother would try to fix her up. He flicks his hair out of his eyes and looks down at the knife in his hands again, before bringing it to her cheek. "Faces are noticeable too... Don't worry, I won't let it scar." He says, and cuts her cheek light enough to make her look hurt but not enough to leave a scar.

Raven looks at him, biting her lip to hold back a winces. Her lip was visibly trembling. She smiles weakly, and winces when he cuts her cheek. She already had a bruise when he slapped her when she first was taken. She stares at the floor, "It's fine, this is the only way." She says quietly.

"I wish I hadn't taken you," he sighs, before turning her to the side gently and cutting her other arms, then he uses the knife to tear the dress at the waist line and tear one of the sleeves off, he uses his fingers to smudge some of the blood onto her skin, and he cuts her neck a little lightly. "I'm really sorry about this whole thing... Erm... When I kidnapped you I didn't expect myself to be such a weak ass pirate."

Raven nods and grimaces again as he cuts her. She flinches and hisses slightly, "It's fine Giovanni, you're a great captain, it's not your fault you have to hurt me, this is so it will look realistic. My father is hard to trick." She murmurs, hating the pain that could be felt from all of the cuts. The one on her neck hurt most, stinging every time she moved. She stares at him and smiles weakly. She watches as a lot of the blood runs down her arm, "This should be enough. I don't want to die from blood loss." She says looking at all the blood and grimacing, she hated the metallic smell of it,

"Right. I'm sorry." He says and steps back, throwing the blade onto the table. He looks down at the blood on his hands, and walks in the direction of his small bathroom. He washes away the water from his hands and then walks back over to Raven. "I... There's a lot of time to pass until tomorrow arrives." He says, avoiding what he was going to originally say, she already knew that he was sorry, and repeating it over and over again wouldn't change anything.

Raven nods and sits down, letting out a small hiss as she knocks one if the cuts, "Well to say the least, I feel like shit but at least it will work now." She says, she felt weak from the cuts but doesn't say anything. She closes her eyes momentarily before opening them again. She sighs slowly, "What shall we do to pass the time?" She asks quietly, her throat aching from the minor cut on it.
