"I guess not....McGonagall was very mad at us....I never seen so mad she scared me...we could have gotten really hurt..." Emily said seeing why they were given the cleaning duties. She sighs and gets back to work.

Emily now leaning against the wall looked at Earl in confusion. "What?....are you serious?...you can't tell me you actually enjoyed cleaning all this?..." she asked

"Well I guess it dose look nice..." Emily said placing her hands on her hips and looked around. "Never pictured myself cleaning a while dinning hall let alone with just my hands.....it looks nice but I really don't want to do it again if I'm being honest.." she said crossing her arms amd looking over at Earl.

"Agreed." He said looking over to her. "You're hands all cut up. What were you cleaning?"

"Oh...its nothing....just dropped some jars while cleaning. But don't worry it's nothing I'm not use to healing..." she said "kinda forgot that I had the cuts...." she added unattionaly.

He pulled out his wand and took her hand with a gentlness that betrayed his rough look and waved his wand over her hand muttering an incantation. The wounds healed immediately.

For some reason she did not understand the gentle way in which he took a hold of her hands caused her to lightly blush. He was busy focused on the task of healing her hands. She cought herself just staring at him watching his every move as he murmured the incantation. She watched as the cuts healed and vanished before her eyes. "Thank you Earl...." she softly said looking down at her own hands. Healing came naturally to her, but mostly it had been the fist from of magic she learned and practiced at home. Mostly to hide away any injuries caused to her and to help Tilly her nanny and head of maids of her family stop worring over her. She held a lot of random wounds from Earl it was becoming normal as he would get all scuffed up. But this was the first time Earl had healed her and the way he should concern and how gentle he was had cased her to feel a weird fluttery sensation in the stomach.
(Not fully cush just yet. I remember we decided that it makes scene that Emily would get a crush on Earl frist. But this is only their second year. Anyways I thought that before her developing an actual crush on him. That she would have theses like random sparks. She has no clue what they are and sometimes she won't notice but they are the starting of the development of the crush she will have on him down the line. X3 I don't know >u< thought it would be cute :p)

"No problem Em." He said letting go of her hand. "Now time to get to work on the next Holiday. Gotta figure out what to get everyone." He said.

Emily looked down to her hand and gently touched it with her free hand. "Work on the next holiday?..." she asked pulling away from her thoughts "why the rush?....Halloween just ended and Chistmas isn't for almost two months" she asked.

"Can't stop now." He said. "I've gotta make this the best christmas ever for you guys. I've only got six more years with you after all. Every minute counts. Who knows what comes after Hogwarts?"

"Best Christmas ever?" She lightly chuckled at Earl's determination. "You dont need to worry about that...six years is a long time Earl....why are you even so determined to making it a great Christmas? And besides why would any of us stop being friends after Hogwarts?...." she asked

But the thought of her being a whole different person or Earl, Alyssa and Josh then they are now once they left scared her for a reason making her feel uneasy.
