Actually, I find his lack of knowledge will make a more interesting scene given his nature and personality.

That's a good question.... I was thinking of having them on us already, but that would not make much sense. But having the item appear after meeting the priestess is also a bit rushed. I think it would be used as a good character development tool.


In the anime they were a gift from the holy spirit taiitsukun, but I wanted to do it differently.


Let's say, the celestial artifact appears during a warriors most desperate hour. Or maybe when having a close relationship ( non-romantic ) with the priestess. I would say there can be multiple conditions to receiving the artifact and that it should be decided by each member, just let me know privately beforehand.


I hope that does not mess anyone up.

The only thing I saw that would change his 'easy-going' personality had to be related to that Library. Just so you know, I am all for conflict, manipulation and stirring bad feelings.


If someone else created this Fushigi Yuugi thread, I would be Nakago in a heartbeat. But maybe as GM I can maneuver things, like Nakago, to achieve the same result.

I suggest watching Fushigi Yuugi on youtube. Always gets me motivated to post in this thread. Especially the one scene in OVA 1 episode 2 when tamahome is being blown up and in the background Nuriko's character song 'Perfect World' is playing.

After all, his Artifact is what always leads him to the right path, by the Priestess's side.
