As the time passed, Winrey stood up and still felt sore as if he hadn't rested at all. I suppose I still need more practice...oh well. He had made it this far however, and resting did let him catch his breath a little and think about what his next strategy would be. He had thought a lot about the giant foe before him, and there was nothing he could glean from simply watching that told him anything about how to beat such a giant creature. He noticed that Lauren had made it just in time for him to stop resting and to move on. Earlier, they had worked together to try and defeat the golem and it hadn't exactly worked out (for Lauren anyways, Winrey was just fine.) So the idea of working together again seemed...rather counterintuitive at this point. But...going out there by myself is also not that wise. I don't have that many options.... Winrey turned to Lauren and decided to ask her to team up once again.

"Let's work together again. It might be the goal of this test, anyways." Going in alone like Ralph had didn't seem to work, and there were still a few stragglers left behind who Winrey had expected to join them by the giant's domain. "I'll make acid with the remaining holy water I have, that should help you break through the ice on the giant's side. And the remaining Holy Water can be transformed into foam. It's not much...but it's the best I can come up with at the moment." Winrey and Lauren briefly talked about their plan and were soon ready to put it into motion. Winrey handed off the acid vials to Lauren, and he took the remainder with him. If all went to plan, the vials he had should puff into extinguishing foam on impact. If all went wrong well...he guessed he'd fail this test on the last trial.

Winrey decided he'd use his skill to move a bit faster. He split away from Lauren who was headed for the icy side of the giant, and threw his portion of the vials towards the inflamed side.

TRAVERSING SOMEWHERE

Lauren nearly collapsed of exhaustion after making it past the trial, her body sore where her prosthetics were attached to her stumps and waist. Still, she slowly made her way towards the final trial, looking towards the colossal monster she assumed they needed to defeat... It was far too big for her to deal with herself, though the sight of Ralph trying to fight it gave her some hope. It did up until she watched him get pulverized by it. A part of her perseverance cracked, as the only other person with her now was Winrey - the same disadvantage they had a couple trials back to a much greater degree. She slowly approached them and sat down a few feet away from them, giving them a glance before speaking up.
"So... It's only the two of us left. Not looking forward to brutally dying by ice or fire like they did, but I doubt we'd survive just sitting idly by either. So, we should probably team up and at least go out trying. As for how to attack it..." Lauren pondered as she recalled the Golem in the second trial, with the vials of what she assumed to be acid. Attacking it's flames would probably be a bad idea, seeing as how she didn't know what type of acid the rabbit-man had on them - assuming they had more on them. At least if they didn't attacking it's flames wouldn't be such a bad idea, as the vials could at least temporarily put out the flames it produced. As for herself... Would punching and kicking even be effective against it? Maybe she could chip away at it's icy side, though it wouldn't stop her from getting squashed like a human pancake... Or a fae pancake rather. Her new race still confused her, even more so that her artificial limbs now made her an abomination instead of an amputee. Her thoughts started to wander towards her electric ability when she remembered something she had studied in her past life, about how electricity reacts around ice and acid and the circumstances in which they work. She then turned to Winrey, her eyes brimming with determination and confidence. "If you have any form of acidic potions we can use, that'll be our best chance of defeating that monstrosity. Here's the plan..."

After a brief planning session on how to best attack the elemental golem Lauren stood up, bottle of acid in hand as she glared at their foe with determination. Their plan was fairly simple: She would use the acid Winrey had concocted alongside her ability to boost her attacks strength, and hopefully shatter its leg as to throw it off balance - with the fall hopefully being enough to shatter the rest of its ice and destroy it. Winrey would act as a distraction, with some sort of foam potion at the ready to extinguish its flames and hopefully weaken it. Out of the two of them the rabbit-man was faster than she was, though she still had to exercise caution when approaching the monster. Her eyes looked towards the ice making up its leg to see what looked to be a mark left behind by the man crushed under a mountain of ice, deciding to attack there for the best chance of shattering it's icy leg. After all of their preparation she started running towards the monster shortly after Winrey, approaching the perceived crack in the ice with a sprint and the vial of acid ready in her hand. Though instead of finding a crack she found it was just small pockets of air trapped within the ice, though that also meant that the ice would be easier to break through. Whether it was luck or fate that drew her to attacking this spot she didn't know, but she punch it as hard as she could as the vial broke and acid spilled out onto her metallic fingers and palm. Then she charged up an [Electrostatic Pulse], with her knowledge of [Physics] paying off as the smell of Ozone was enough to know that the acid was doing its job. Should things go to plan, the electricity she was generating should try grounding to the arena floor and break through the ice in one massive pulse - her only concern was how quickly the monster would retaliate to her attack.

Actions:

1. Received a vial of acid from Winrey, running up to the monsters frozen leg to attack.
2. Used [Electrostatic Pulse] and punched the bubbled ice as hard as she could
3. Used her knowledge of [Physics] to boost the electric attack, with the acid acting as a conductor trying to rid its charge into the arena floor below the monsters feet.

In a final race against time and their fading strength, Winrey and Lauren would rush the titan with alchemical fluids in hand. When they closed in on the titan's ice half to begin their assault, the titan raised its foot to smash the ground, sending out a concussive force of ice and cold. Their attacks, achelmy, and efforts were blown away, but frozen over in the new layer of ice like bugs suspended in icicles in winter.

"Your efforts were brave, but know your limitations. The stronger should have led and the weaker should support. The offensive should have been given power over the movement. May you take these lessons and fair better in the world below."
