I'm currently reading a book called The Color of Water


Outstanding book, the title really fits it. It's (literally in the front cover it says this) "A black man's tribute to his white mother."


 
......So phone was dumb and wouldn't let me Un underline the rest of the text after the books name...


 
Anyway, with the religion in the book (still amazing book) The author use to ask his mother if God was black or white.


she would reply with "God is the color of water, clear."


Now I don't consider myself religious but this is a truly amazing concept xD
