Really? You have Pre-AP classes? I have 3 AP classes, on top of College-grade English dual-credit. Needless to say, once the homework starts coming in you guys will see A LOT less of me.

But of course, I'm a senior so of course I'm going to have harder classes.

When I walked into Tech class on my first day of high school - which was Freshman orientation day - I realized that I was the only girl out of nine or ten annoying as all hell guys that I had known for at least three years, some five. They realized it, too. Imagine how fun that was for me.

Considering that most of my classes will be college classes this year, I have a feeling that I will be saying the same think. While also being really scared.

My mom asked tonight if - in other words, because she doesn't really know what it's called - an Xbox 360 is something I would want for Christmas. I don't think I've ever given that much of an enthusiastic yes before in my life.

Then I told her that she could buy a 360 at Gamestop for around $100 just to give her the hint that I REALLY WANT ONE. And she said maybe. Fuck yeah. That is progress right there.

And tonight I had my fourth person in a month say that I look like I'm 15, not 17. I don't fucking understand how in the hell I look like I'm fucking 15. What the hell.

So I finally finished the Halo 4 campaign since my brother will be away from home for a few days. I'm still very annoyed that they made it seem like John and Cortana were in love. I have been since I watched my brother finish this soon after the game came out, and I this just instilled it more.

Oh, well. At least I feel like I am getting better at playing Halo. That's an improvement. Now to try the campaign on normal at some point in time. I estimate I will die about 112 times.

The two definitely cared for each other but I wouldn't call it love... Well maybe only for Cortana. Especially with her wanting to touch him.

Exactly. They saw each other as TEAM MATES. Someone for each of them to depend on and work perfectly with in battle. In the Fall of Reach, it actually talks about the part where Cortana was first given to Chief. She got to choose which Spartan she wanted, she she chose John. Halsey knew that was probably because John was her favorite also, and Cortana was bound to pick up some of her traits like that. And when Halsey tried to tell her that she needed to be sure on who she wanted, Cortana basically said that her mind and John's were almost a perfect match for working together. In fact, she fixed a part of herself in a slight but significant way just so their brains would work almost perfectly together (sorry that that doesn't sound quite right, my brain always feels fried after playing games for even an hour and a half like I just did, and I still can't think quite straight yet. I think my glasses and headset do that). So, yes, they were a perfect match- for working together and creating strategies on the battle field. Their very first field test together definitely showed that. But they weren't a perfect match for love. Just their line of work.

So i found this on tumblr and it is painfully true.

Okay. It's official. I'm still as sucky at playing Halo as I was before I finished the Halo 4 campaign. I don't see much of a difference, if any. This is depressing.

While you have been doing that, I've been bullshiting my way through Halo: CE on legendary. It's not going too well. Level 1 took me 20 minutes. Level 2 took me 2 days. I only managed to do that through the use of the noob combo and the grunt funeral skull. For level 3 I've put 5 days of work into and made little progress. I've had to restart twice too. The first time was because I left my sniper rifle behind. (At the time I didn't know it was the most important gun in the level.) The second time was because I got a bad checkpoint with 2 Elites chasing me and I had one health point and half a shield. There are so many fucking unfair sections on that level.

Me and a friend tried Halo: CE on MCC together on legendary. After a while, we just had one person stay way behind so the other person could suicide run over and over again... We played from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM and only got past the third level.

The first game is hard as shit in my opinion... I can manage 3 and 4 on legendary.

If the magnum and more medkits was in the level I could probably bullshit my way through it. I really hate playing through most of the level on 1 fucking health point.

All this talk about legendary kind of reminds me of story from the podcast. It's kind of hard to explain. So Gavin and Dan were doing a LASO Halo 2 play through. They found this werid bug. So when they died they spawned at different checkpoints. However on each persons screen they saw the other player at their checkpoint. So say Gavin spawns at checkpoint A and Dan spawns at B. So on Gavin's screen he's playing through the level but on Dan's screen he's shooting the air and walking into walls. Same thing happened to Dan on Gavin's screen.

At least you have been having trouble when it's supposed to be hard. I played through on Easy the first time, and it took me about, I'd say, seven to eight hours to do. Granted, I don't usually die a whole lot, but that is simply because I'm always extremely cautious and thoughtful about which weapons are most useful on each enemy I come across, unless I'm taking forever and Cortana starts bitching at me. Then I just say FUCK IT and go crazy for a moment. I usually only die when I'm trying to hijack a Ghost, get pushed over the edge by a fuCKING KNIGHT, or when I'm driving a vehicle through one of the two levels where you have to constantly be moving and dodging shit and boosting to time things just right and get out of the stupid Forerunner shithole that Chief got his stupid ass stuck in. I died so many times on those two levels, with the ghost and ship (forgot what the ship is called). But, even though I don't die very much during combat and I always make sure I have the ammo and weapons that I want, I still am terrible at aiming when stuff is moving a lot (like it always fucking does) and when I'm scared. I do the normal rookie thing where my crosshairs go fucking everywhere that ISN'T at the enemy. I just get so scared and flustered sometimes and I'm way to cautious and slow. So I take forever on something that should be pretty damn easy to do.

Although, I got lucky for a moment while I was playing through the campaign again last night. I forgot that an Elite with a sword was on one of the levels, so I went charging through and punching Grunts and Jackals and all that to get through. Then something happened, I kinda go stuck with my shields gone, tried to leave as I got stuck in a crouch, then I look over to my left to see the Elite just standing literally two feet from me. With the sword right at my nose. I yelped, thanked my lucky stars that he was somehow looking away from me like I wasn't even there and wasn't giving a fuck for the split second that I saw him, so then I shot the shit out of him with my BR as I said "OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD" and he was distracted. I actually managed to kill him without getting hurt. I walked away feeling like I somehow cheated.

Oh, I watched that podcast where they talked about that. That would have pissed me off so much to have to deal with.

Try using a couple skulls. Particularly Cowbell and Catch. It makes nades much more useful with a slightly higher chance of death.

Try to use the "noob combo" when you can.

Shotguns/Scattershots are a bit easier to use than the "noob combo."

I looked through the skulls last night, and I don't remember those sounding particularly useful. I guess I could give them a try next time I restart the campaign, though.

Also, I don't always like shotguns, and the scattershot seems so useless. The only Forerunner rifles I truly like (and I do like them a lot) are the (I think these are the names) Binary Rifle and Supressor. Just the Forerunner version of the Battle and Assault Rifles, and very useful on all the Forerunner enemies, just like their human counterparts.

I would also like to mention that I can be pretty stubborn about what weapons I use, and tend to stick to, like, the same four or five weapons for the whole damn campaign. I've always been really bad about that.

I think you got the Binary Rifle confused with the Light Rifle. The Binary Rifle is the sniper rifle.

Oh. I could have sworn that it was called the Binary Rifle. Oh well.

New Doctor Who season on Netflix. I know what I'm doing tonight.

*Crawls out of one of the many circles of hell* I finally did it. I beat the fucking The True and Reconciliation! *Looks over at Halo CE: level list* I still have the Library, Attack on the Control Room, and Two Betrayals to go through. *Swan dives back into the circles of hell*

I told everyone about that RP I made that died, and then it randomly got a bunch of people on it? Well, these guys are just going and going. It's dwindled down to three people by page 7 and now they are on page 25. I've thrown them a couple plot points, but all they want is character interaction. I'm just gonna see how far they go.
