So does it have to be humans? What about a large, sentient snake? That's be pretty cool. Although I will understand if its a no go. Cause y'know, giant King Cobra snake. Sentient and all that bull.

I would prefer they have human traits, look human, enough to fit in in society. Born with the flaws, if that could be possible for that idea?
I want this to be realistic as possible with slight fantasy with the vampire, you get it? Lol I feel like talking hard to explain :p
