    Personality: Ivelda is extremely narcissistic. She loves herself and believes that she is the fairest creature in existence. Enjoying the company of young, handsome men, she surrounds herself with them in order to feel all the more desirable. She can appear to people in many different ways, transforming from a young maiden into a fire-breathing dragon in a matter of seconds. Ivelda likes to feel that she is in control and becomes envious quickly, especially of women that truly have more beauty than she. If this is the case however, she does not hesitate to make her distaste obvious. Most often, instances like that end with them arrested for any kind of reason and she steals their life essence before 'releasing them' aka having them killed. She's very unpredictable by nature: being charming and kind the next, but can turn vicious on a dime. Her greatest fear is losing her physical beauty and losing her throne.

    History: Growing up, Ivelda always felt that she deserved much more than she was given. She was born as the eldest of three daughters, although it was obvious that both her father and mother enjoyed the company of the youngest much more than hers. The youngest daughter had always been a prodigy when it came to magic, while Ivelda was left far behind. Her sister was always referred to as "the perfect child", which only fueled her already-present hatred of the girl. Things only got worse as they entered school. Ivelda struggled while her sister thrived and even found friends. As all of her siblings went on with their lives, she couldn't help but feel unfairly treated.

    The day that her mother died changed everything. Ivelda had been furious when her sister had been chosen to take her mother's place. Everyone had said that "The magic had chosen her," but Ivelda didn't believe it for a second. She began exacting her revenge. She murdered her sister, then her father, even taking his magical abilities. Thirsty for more power, she turned her sites ruling the entirety of Rhindeval. She knew she was no match for all of the royals, so she ended up making a deal with Evil forces in order to gain the power she need to get rid of them. Soon she heard about all the royals gathering of Prince Richard's birthday. Disguising herself among the well wishers, she manages to kill all of the rulers and take over. Brainwashing the princes and princesses, she keeps the princes and banishes the princesses and her sister to Earth, believing they'll never be a threat to her there.

    Ziran is a bright-looking guy. To put it simply. From pink hair that fades into purple to eyes that always seem to fluctuate between pinks and blues. He has a natural colour pallet with various colours. But even the clothes he enjoys wearing continue the pattern of bright flashy colours. He's often seen wearing more casual wear. Loose clothing that is both trendy and easy to move in. Along with the various colours. He enjoys both dressing nicely and comfortably. And he makes sure he can have the best of both worlds! Ziran also likes jewelry albeit, more collecting rather than wearing. But he has a piercing on each ear and often wears earrings. He also is littered with freckles. Mainly on his face, but he has some spread on his shoulders and back.

    Ziran is a very outgoing and energetic person. Always has to keep himself moving and doing something. He doesn’t enjoy staying idle for too long which in turn makes him seem childish. It was similar to when he was a kid too. He was that kid that insisted on being friends with everyone. Always wanted to go outside and would play and explore anywhere his little legs would take him till the sun began setting and his parents had to drag him back inside. It didn't matter who they were or what they did, if they were willing to play with him, then he would play with them in a heartbeat!

    However, at first glance, he may appear ignorant and naive, but he is a bit more of a schemer than he lets off to be. Often letting others think of him as weak and simple which in turn often makes him seem easier to trust. Someone who can't cause harm. He’s a bit of a misleading fella, but he usually doesn’t have any ill intentions. Just ulterior motives. A strategic and perceptive mind hides behind cheery smiles and charming words. A successful merchant can't thrive off of naivety after all. The best merchants know how to gain trust and use it to their advantage. But Ziran does value the relationships he makes and the people around him. He sometimes feels ashamed that he's constantly hiding parts of himself from people.

    Despite how friendly and social he is with others, he doesn't fully trust many people. Never as open as he seems. In the world, people always get used by others. And he knows he does the same thing so he definitely isn't helping stop the problem. But he'd prefer not to become attached to people who will eventually leave him. He's content with the life he's living now

Sylas is a troubled young man. Raised to be the heir of the Elwood Dynasty, he grew up believing that nothing was out of his grasp if he put his mind to it. The weight of being a future ruler, of meeting his mentors' expectations, of living up to his potential, it all weighed on his mind. Even after losing his memories he found himself in positions where people depended on him and his skills.

The death of his parents haunts him by Ivelda's design. It fuels his near-feral drive to action; in his eyes, it's better to charge forward unprepared than to stand still and risk losing what he loves. She saved his life and paved the path for his growth into who he is today, and nothing he can do will ever convey the gratitude he feels towards her, or the depth of his loyalty.

You can still sometime see his inner child shine through. While on his adventures into the wilderness of Rhivendal you can find him swinging sticks, skipping rocks, climbing trees and overall being mesmerized by the world around him. He always has gifts to give to those close to him every time he returns from a hunting expedition, and he gives them with the joy and confidence of a little kid showing you a cool rock he found.

Early Childhood

Sylas was the firstborn son of the former Elwood dynasty. His family’s covenant with Akantha, warden spirit of the Silvani Kingdom, blessed his bloodline with druidic talents: his own manifested as beast kinship, beast speech and nature spirit summoning.

If he wasn't learning from the sages of the royal court, he was exploring the vast palace gardens or any of the surrounding villages. He would play with sprites and wild animals and get to know the denizens of the forest valley. The king and queen thought it was important that the young prince should come to know the lands he’d one day rule over, so they let him explore while supervised by a bodyguard. Sylas came to love and admire every nook and cranny of his homeland, as well as all those who kept the country and its natural beauty safe. That love also came with the burden of knowing this would eventually become his responsibility, and some part of him feared it. It sparked his desire to be reliable like all the people he looked up to, like all his ancestors before him.

Some nights his dreams are haunted by memories of the day his parents died. It’s a fragmented mess of whispers and blood-chilling shrieks, of his parents’ brave fight against the masked fairy that took their lives. He was nine then, and only just beginning to control his gift. He thought he could do anything, his former mentor, Sage Asher, always spoke of the incredible potential he had as a druid. When that thing locked eyes with him, though, all his confidence was ripped away. He was reduced to nothing more than a child crying desperately for his parents. As far as he knows, If Ivelda hadn’t been there to rescue him before fleeing to safety, he wouldn’t be here today. Of course, those are all memories hand-crafted by Ivelda. Asher was never a mentor to him, there was no fairy, and Ivelda never "rescued" him.

Life as Servant

Ivelda was quick to take in the orphaned princes, but not before altering their memories. In the process, young Sylas was born anew as Jasper Olsen. Jasper was made to believe that his parents were both loyal servants of Ivelda who died protecting him and the queen from an "evil fairy." That's where his distrust for fairies first started.

Those first 3 years as a new person were difficult for Jasper. He blamed himself and his lack of skill for what happened to his parents. When he realized he couldn't use his magic anymore, it crushed him. He thought perhaps it was punishment from his patron spirit, and he should count himself lucky that animals still saw him as kin in some way.

And count himself lucky he did; in fact, the company of animals was the only thing that seemed to bring him some peace. Seeing this, Ivelda had him work as a page under the palace's falconer, hound master and stable master. He was always busy, but he welcomed it if it meant not thinking about his past. And this way, he thought, he could begin paying back his life debt to the queen.

By the time he was 12 he'd built up a reputation as a "beast master". That's how he caught the eyes of his current mentor.

Captain Shula of the Chain Lynx mercenary company had been on a 3 year wyvern-hunting campaign off the shores of Rhindeval. When she finally returned, she saw the state of the continent and she knew what she had to do. As she arrived at Lostein with her mercenary company in tow, ready to pledge her loyalty to the new head honcho, she got to see Jasper's handiwork firsthand. Shula could appreciate the way he handled all of their horses and wildcats, how effortlessly they followed his commands. Much like the sages of Greenhaven, she saw the immense potential in him.

Part of the deal Shula made with Ivelda when discussing her company's role as crown-appointed monster hunters was bringing in Jasper as an apprentice. With such a perfect opportunity to train the boy in a skill she could make use of, why would she object? Thus began his apprenticeship under Shula and the Chain Lynx.

Shula made him a ferocious hunter. After a decade of training as an apprentice to the Chain Lynx and learning their techniques, he found himself able to enter the company's signature "battle trance" on command. It wasn't long before he became captain of his own segment of the Chain that took direct orders from the queen. He spends his time neutralizing rampaging nature spirits and clearing monster nests all over the continent.

Personality:
Growing up Jade was lonely and mistrustful, but also a little proud that he hadn't (in his mind) broken under the manipulative pressure coming at him from all sides. After brainwashing and losing his memories, that pride vanished. With no memories to be sure if he could entirely trust himself, he became obsessed with whether he could trust those around him. When a person is honest to him, he feels relieved and will go to great lengths to aid those he believes he can trust. Lies and manipulation makes him short tempered and sometimes violent. (This doesn't apply to the Queen, due to her magic and his obedience training) As long as he wasn't thinking too much about his forgotten past, Gann can typically remain positive and enjoy life around him. He does pride himself some on his sword skills and is eager to please her royal highness by enforcing her laws and improving his own skills.

Backstory and Post-Brainwashing Life:
Jade spent most of his childhood around adults. If he wasn't training at the sword, he was studying the many things he had to learn as the prince. He never complained, but Jade always hated the constant stares and whispers that followed him. The young prince was acutely aware of how the two major guilds were in a constant battle for power, manipulating him to be in their favor whenever possible. He grew up isolated and mistrustful, and dreamed (in childish simplicity) of becoming king and putting his foot down on these manipulative organizations.

The coming of the Queen and the wiping of his memory was rather traumatic to Jade (Given a new name of Gann). Without his memory he was only left with his feelings of mistrust for those around him. The Queen placed him under one of her knights, who trained Gann in both swordsmanship and obedience to the Queen. (The magic would make him obedient anyway, but this way he would believe it was due to his training rather than manipulation) As he grew older and his sword skills improved Gann submitted himself to work directly beneath the Queen and was appointed as one of her enforcers, using both kindness and force to keep her subjects in line.

Without his memories, the fact that it might be possible for him to do magic never occurred to him.

Spectral Body - So long as Jade is in a place with light, he can form numerous spectral body parts (he prefers arms/hands, but can do heads and legs/feet as well). The strength, number, and solidity of the specters are directly related to how much magic power he expends. With careful control, a spectral arm's strength could go from steel to vapor and back again in an instant, but such finesse work requires concentration and tends to lower the number of simultaneous specters.

Jack-of-All-Trades Alchemy - Through his royal studies and personal experiments, Jade had developed a series of magical spells capable of producing a wide range of effects (IE: create fire, grow plants, shoot water, move earth, cause darkness/light, freeze, etc.) however these spells all require their own type of magic stone and will cause the stone to break after a certain number of uses. (depending on the strength of the stone, power of the spell, etc)

Kingdom:
Edelstein the gemstone kingdom
exists in the far north, built within a series of large chasms beneath a frozen, glacier covered wasteland. The kingdom costs of three main 'Chambers' (A chamber being a cave large enough for a small to medium city to be built in). The 'front chamber' is the southern-most chamber and is the travel gateway to the other kingdoms. From there you can travel to the 'Upper Chamber' and the 'Lower Chamber'. The Upper Chamber is directly below the surface and is covered by a giant glacial roof. The light shining through the dense ice is the closest to sunlight the kingdom gets. The lower chamber has great gemstone pillars throughout its city, providing beautiful colored light throughout the day and night. (The gemstones are magically attuned to match the day-night cycle). Between and around these main chambers are various small caves ranging from a small mining outpost to a small town.

Edelstein has a ruling monarch just as the other kingdoms, but behind the scenes there are three major powers running the nation. The first is of course the royal family and their high noble council of advisors. Then there are the two guilds: The Magic Guild and the Mining Guild. Edelstein's economy is based heavily on its abundant natural resources: Gemstones. Edelstein mines and sells both normal and magical gemstones across the kingdoms. The mining guild more or less controls the extraction and trade of these gemstones. However the abundance of magic stones drew a considerable amount of magic researchers, inventors, enthusiasts, and scholars. A culture of magical experimentation grew quickly in Edelstein and the magic tools and other forms of knowledge became a secondary foundation to Edelstein's economy. All of which would be closely run by the nation's magic guild.

    Juno is described to have permanent winter skin, even during the summer she only tans a little, she is much more sensitive in hot area than cold areas, unable to deal with the heat for long she often gets sunburnt which leaves her to usual be inside for the summers. She has platinum blonde hair and mossy green eyes. Her outfit usually aligning more to a simple and graceful along with comfort clothes.
    Personality
    Silence is very much preferred over sounds, Juno is a very quiet and reserved person, she often watches from the sidelines, interested, and does not engage much unless necessary many people have often called her cold or rude due to her strictness on them. However she does not mean for them to be hurt by her words, she simply wants them to be able to do well. Her teaching method or advice can often come across blunt or rude but she does not have ill intentions. Juno wants to be tough to the people she cares about to ensure when they face a hardship they can overcome it easily. Due to her overly warm family she tends to stay away from people who are pushy or too touchy as it gets annoying. Although she doesn’t show it much she loves her family very much as much as their ideals and hers clash a lot. She is wiling to put everything down when the occasion calls for it to save her family.

Amethyst/Amy is a very curious individual. She loves delving into the subtle details of a system to discover its secret intricacies. In particular she is fascinated with biology and ecology, the subtle paths of evolution and natural selection drive her thirst for knowledge and understanding. In simpler terms, she is what you might call "an animal person." While she has no issue socializing with other people, being optimistic and open with her interests, she rarely feels any regret sitting down alone for a night with only animals for company.

History:
As a young princess, Amethyst was a walking ball of energy. Where other children might have grown tired after a day of busy royal lessons, Amethyst would embark every day on her own little adventure to explore some new place. After several failed attempts to keep her from sneaking out, the royal palace set up a secret system to monitor her each day. She was allowed to travel farther (though she still believed she was sneaking out secretly) and visit many interesting places in her underground kingdom.

Down on Earth, Amy was adopted by a single mother running a small pet clinic/shelter. Amy found she had a natural affinity for animals and proudly began following her mother's somewhat lost dream for becoming a professional biologist and Ecologist. She's gotten in trouble a few times in her dorms for trying to secretly take care of stray animals she's found, including (but not limited to) a stray cat, several geckos, Beetles, Spiders, a Squirrel, an Opossum, and a variety of different birds. She often dreams of discovering new life in some deep underground place, (Strangely full of crystals for some reason) finding all sorts of exotic plants and animals thriving in a place wholly unlike the various forests and fields she often visits here on Earth.

Magic:
Stone Mimicry - Can animate pieces of stone to resemble a creature she has great knowledge of, it will follow her commands as long as she supplies it magic energy. After which it will either go berserk or fall apart lifeless. The larger the stone, the more energy it takes to animate. She will mimic any animal that fits the needs of the moment, but has a fondness for creating insects and arachnids.

Crystal animation - Using a magic crystal as a catalyst, a sentient (though not particularly intelligent) crystal golem can be created. Each golem has different magical abilities corresponding to which crystal was used. It will remain 'alive' and can regenerate its body as long as it has magic energy stored in its crystal body.

He is forgiving of accidents and misfortune, but has a limit with excuses. The only times he lets his guard down is when he is working on his homestead, or interacting with creatures. Of the Mud Prince


History:

A family with a long hsitory of following Tradition. Of following a set of rules that taught respect, of everything physical and spiritual. Ido grew up learning to control his emotions, to never give into his anger. To be a leader of example that never bends to another. Or else he would dishonor his ancestors, who were always watching. It was rare to find the prince alone, as there always seemed to be a tutor or guard with the boy. Yet the boy met everything with a silent determination. At times his guards would say he would speak to the air, as if questioning the walls for answers on various subjects. There were some rumors of the prince being cursed with madness, yet his family tried their best to turn the rumors into tales of him being guided by his ancestors. Thus the boy was alone, but he never acted as if he was. Always off looking for answers, and asking questions to the air.

The truth was that Ido did see his ancestors, he could hear them. For a boy that was ostracised by those in the physical sense, it was a comfort to have others that cared for you always there. Yet the downside of this, was that he had little privacy, and the only true place he could be alone was in his mind. So he grew in the habit of talking to himself, and learning to not vocalize himself so much.

After his mind was altered, things changed though. The boy turned into a cold, calculating man. Set on pursuing knowledge and magical items for one person. The Queen. Whenever there were mentions of magical artifacts or strange events, he would go investigate. And he would have little concern or mercy for others. A plant that sings and heals you with each verse? Uproot it and take it in for study. A stone tablet of ancient text that was the town's pride and joy? Take it, and cut down anyone that tries to stop them. A woman whose hair grew to great lengths and was quite strong? Shave it off and see what happens!

The boy who was always surrounded by family, lost his connection to them. He was alone, and the Queen exploited him into her academic watchdog.

PERSONALITY


A man of many faces, he never shows his true emotions. He always has a smile ready to fire, a witty comment to stoke a flame, a smooth comment to soothe the raging fires. He makes people feel confident, discontent, courageous, and fearful. He's the master of strings. Twinkling eyes hide masked pain. Who is he? A man with a passion. A passion for people. His true self? Quite. He doesn't often speak, he just... thinks. Thinks about people. How they act. How they work. It's the key to his success. He rarely truly smiles, because who does he have to share that smile with? The motherly queen that he serves has a dark side, he is certain. But... it's as if there's a block to keep him from digging too deep. The other nobles? They are wary of his words. Afraid that he'd talk them into some contract. He's lonely. That's why when he's by himself he thinks, doesn't talk, doesn't smile. No witty comebacks, no flirtatious curve of the lips. Sadness, drive, passion. Wrapped inside of a body who can't remember his parents. He roams the halls at night, unable to sleep, like a ghost with no purpose.

BIOGRAPHY


The only son of the Kingdom of the King and Queen of Tingul, he was the son of the castle. In their eyes, he could do no wrong. He trained with the glaive, learned to sing and act, and studied the many many people that came through the courtroom. He lived a dream until the "motherly queen" killed his parents and brainwashed him. With his new name Jad, he became Prince Charming. He still practiced the glaive, feeling a connection that he didn't understand. With the patience of the queen, he became her negotiator at the tender age of 16. He became one of the wiliest and most ruthless ambassadors she could ever ask for. When he left the rooms, people always caved. Now at the age of twenty-two, he is the most loved and despised courtier of the realm.

LIKES


He likes people. Or rather he likes to study people. He likes to try and figure out how they tick. Reading is also a deep passion of his, always trying to figure out what the authors were thinking as they wrote. He also likes sparring and working out. There's just something about the light burning of the muscles.

DISLIKES


He dislikes flagrant wealth. He always was attracted to a rather minimalistic dress code (for a noble). He always internally scowled at the nobles who wore enough jewelry to drown a child if they were thrown into a river with it all on. Also, he really, really, dislikes zucchini.

    The royal family of Havintena has always strayed towards more distant and hands-off upbringings for their children, thinking it best for them to grow independently and form their own ideas, and Rebecca's parents were especially so. Other than arranging tutors and listening to personal requests, Rebecca rarely saw or interacted with her parents. But lonely as she was at their distance, she knew they did care for her, and so she worked hard. In particular she read very many books at a young age, eager to please her parents, seek praise and make excuses to see them such as wanting a new tutor for a new interesting subject. Her simple one-track mindset for knowledge led her to become quite the timid, mindful and reclusive over-thinker, with little experience interacting with anyone other than those within the palace.

    Rebecca was only 8 when tragedy struck, fearfully dragged off to a distant birthday party for a prince she barely knew. She... could've saved her mother. Perhaps not for long, but she could have. Unfortunately however, whether it was from fear or a lack of belief in her own abilities, she hesitated to reach out. And that was enough for the dagger to plunge deeply into her mother's heart. Warm blood vividly splattered her face as the world went dark, mixed with scathing tears she didn't know had even started to flow.

    Now (Problem child)
    On Earth, Rebecca was always a bit of a problem child. She had little tolerance for others and long looked down on the stories of glorified love and friendship often told to the children there. Her face was often cold, expressionless or condescending, and she often wandered off or holed herself up on her own more than anything. Slowly however, with the efforts of Lilith, or Ms Evans, at the orphanage, her attitude got a bit better, though she still remained quite the lone wolf.

    Whilst young, she was adopted and brought back three times due to her attitude. However, especially to others, her fourth family was considered a jackpot. The Nattev family was a rich one, with a busy, successful business man and a sickly but refined madam. Although they originally only adopted Rebecca due to her resemblance toward their late daughter, they did care for her, even though her adoptive father was always busy and her adoptive mother had to rest often. She did not fault her family. Her few years there were quite nice and peaceful, especially whilst at home. But there were many in high society that were not happy with this new street urchin entering their ranks, and Rebecca only grew more hard-hearted and heartless for it.

She is confident, almost unruly, and while not inherently inhospitable, she also rarely makes an effort to act “presentable”, instead preferring the silence of the wilderness. Circe cares little for how she is perceived by others, a strong willed, stubborn girl with an almost carefree nature. She can appear indulgent, almost obsessive to the point of fault over her odd, and sometimes contradicting interests. While Circe cares little for the opinions of others, she constantly holds the fear of being a “bad friend” or a failure to those she loves and cares for.
