Realistic or Modern Foster Life

"It's just early. But I can always nap on the couch. She laid her torso over and smiled, wanna nap, Rex?" She patted her stomach. "You can lay here and we can nap till time to eat, deal?"

Rex replies deal he then smiles and lays his head on her chest and closes his eyes and starts to doze off due to the sound of her heartbeat.

She wrapped her arms around him, and closed her eyes. With one more yawn she began drifting off into sleep.

(I'll post tomorrow. Gotta sleep before class in five hours.)

[QUOTE="Aryn Harris]Amanda laughs and nods her head. "I know it is." She murmurs, yawning. She closes her eyes and yawns again.

Jackson would glance around the room for a moment followed by admiring Amanda's face. Following that he shuffles up slightly closer and shuts his eyes, taking a deep breath thereafter.

Amanda smiles at Jackson, her eyes still closed. A few moments later she falls asleep, dreaming about what her baby would be like.

[QUOTE="Aryn Harris]Amanda wakes up a half hour later and sighs. She yawns again and sits up, careful not to wake Jackson.

Checkmate. Regardless of how careful she was Jackson was only in a light sleep anyway as he wasn't really that tired in the first place. Due to her added weight as from the pregnancy as well when she sat up the mattress would have most likely sunk slightly. He awakes with no issue; he runs his eyes up and down her once and then takes a deep breath.

"Are you okay...?" He asks quietly.

Amanda nods her head and closes her eyes. "Sorry. I didn't mean to wake you." She says, and rubs her stomach, grimacing slightly. Her eyes wander over to Jackson, hoping he didn't notice. She was having a Braxton Hicks. She only knew that because the pain didn't get worse when she moved.

He wouldn't have noticed. Happy as can be he sits up and glances around the room. "It's okay... I'm not tired anyway."

"Let's go downstairs." She says, and stands up. She waddles out of her room and downstairs, walking into the kitchen.

He would have followed her. He's still dressed in his pyjamas; he looks out into the back yard after entering the kitchen and admires everything out there, from the items that belong to the household as well as the general scenery that was being naturally created. He thinks to himself for a moment and then turns to her, "Do ya' still get sick at like... Mornin' time?" He asks in reference to morning sickness.
He drags a chair over from the table and sits it by the counter. He then climbs up on it and reaches into the cabinet, pulling out two glasses and placing them down. "When can we choose names and stuff? He asks while wandering over to the fridge and pulls it open, pulling out the carton of orange juice from within.

Wendy didn't feel like getting out of bed. She would give anything to have her old life back. She wanted her parents and her boyfriend Kevin back. Sadly, when her parents had passed away, her boyfriend had broken up with her because he was moving away. As both had happened at once, Wendy couldn't have been more heartbroken. She hasn't bothered getting up and didn't know when she was going to.

After a conversation with Amanda, Jackson got her and himself some juice and left it at that. He drank his own down and then decided to take a stroll about the house; he returned upstairs to his bedroom and got out some of his toys to entertain himself while there was nothing else to do on an early morning such as this one.
After a brief period of time he'd find himself bored again. He'd leave the toys he had out on the floor before he stands up. He wanders downstairs once again and makes his way out into the backyard, taking a deep breath as he glances around followed by walking over to a sun-covered spot on the grass and placing himself down on it, listening to the quiet sounds of a gentle breeze and the songs of daytime birds in the near distance.
He remained sat on the grass for quite some time, merely absorbing the sun and getting some fresh air while watching the gentle breeze create ripples in the pool in front of him. He looked back towards the kitchen where Amanda would presumably still be unless she had left the room for some reason.

Amanda sits down at the kitchen table and yawns. She runs her fingers through her hair and then places her hand on her stomach. She frowns slightly when she realizes she still needed someone to take her to her appointment the next day.

Jackson would stand up from the grass outside and wander off back inside the house. He walks back into the kitchen and takes a seat at the kitchen table opposite Amanda. "Hi." He murmurs, smiling softly at her.

"Hey buddy." She says, smiling. "What do you wanna do today?" She asks. "We can do whatever you want to do." She adds, still smiling. She runs her fingers through her hair, and places one hand on her stomach.

"Um..." He pauses and thinks to himself for a moment, maintaining his smile. ".. I wanna' do somethin' fun!" He says in enthusiasm, giving a grin while he rocks back and forth a couple of times.

Amanda giggles and nods her head. "Then something fun we shall do." She says, matching his enthusiasm. "And then after that I can ask someone to take me to my doctor's appointment tomorrow." She adds.

"What are we gonna' do? And can I come tomorrow, too?" He asks, smiling at her while he stands up from his chair while he awaits her answer. He's still dressed in his PJ's, so getting into some proper attire would probably be a good start.

Amanda laughs and nods her head. "Of course you can come." She says, and stands up. "And to answer your first question.... I don't know what we're going to do... What your absolute favorite thing to do?" She asks.

".. well... I like to play games and stuff... I like doin' fun stuff outside, too." He says simply, he'd glance around once again and the back to Amanda. "What do you wanna' do? Do you wanna' go outside or do you wanna' do stuff inside?" He asks thoughtfully.
"Should I go get dressed, too?" He asks in anticipation. He'd look off towards the exit of the kitchen but would then look back to her.

(I was supposed to put this on the end of the last one, my bad.)

Amanda smiles at him. "We can go outside." She murmurs. "And yes go change into other clothes. I will too." She states and walks upstairs, and into her room. She grabs a long sleeved shirt and some leggings, quickly putting them on.
