"Oh yeah! Yeah. I live in the Dallas Metroplex. I love it there... I usually come up here for a few weeks during the summer cause it's just so darn hot in Texas. But Im here now to kind of... get away from people since Jessica." James shrugged a little, "Yet, you fell.. kinda... on my door step." He smiled, "But oh well, it was nice having you around for a few hours, plus Jane seems to really like you."

 

[Kaoru Asuna]

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt your vacation with my almost-demise." I grinned and said it lightly. I looked down into my bowl. "I don't even know how I got lost. It never should have happened, with how many times I've been up here..." I turned red at my own foolishness. 
(Hey, if you're still here, I'm going to log out for like 45 minutes, but I should be back after that.♥;P)

James laughed a little, "No, no, its totally fine, I dont mind at all.. Like I said, Jane will probably go crazy with just me, so at least she'll have the memories of you to keep her sane a little, right Jane?" He looked down at Jane and smiled and then looked back at Liza and smiled, "No reason to be embarrassed, Honest."

 

[Kaoru Asuna]

"Thanks. I still feel stupid though," I smiled again before taking another spoonful of my soup. A few more spoonfuls and I was finished. I took the bowl to the sink and ran water over it.


"Um, do you want me to do anything for you before I go to bed?" I asked without thinking. I slapped my hand over my mouth. "I-I didn't...I, it wasn't supposed to come out like that, that's not what I mean--" I couldn't even look at him. I was just glad that Jane couldn't understand us.

James just laughed at her embarrassment, "No no, its fine." He smiled towards her, "Its completely fine, I'll see you in the morning alrighty?" He brought his dish over and put it with hers, "You have a good night Liza." He smiled


Jane cocked her head at Liza, "Wow, she's making her moves quick!"

"I--good night," I mumbled, turning redder and letting my hair fall over my eyes. I walked quickly to the stairs and ran up them once I was out of his sight-line. I tried the second door on the left. It was the empty bedroom. I closed the door behind me and leaned against it, sliding to the floor. What the hell made me say that?! I ran my fingers through my hair. I felt like screaming and laughing at the same time.


I stood and climbed into bed, but I took the pj bottoms off first. The hoodie hung down to the middle of my thighs, in case I had to leave the room for something. But just in case, I got up and locked the door anyway.

Jane jumped up onto James' leg and looked up at him.


"She is leaving in the morning." Jane cock her head to the right.


"No, she can't stay, remember? This is us time." Then Jane cocked her head to the left.


"I know she's cute.. Look, we'll stay here during the winter, til Janurary or Feburary, March at the latest, then we'll go back.. We'll get her number when we drop her off tomorrow, and ask her out on a date when we're back." James shoot his head, "That wont even matter, she doesn't live in Texas." He looked back down at his dog, who was now shaking her butt a little.


"She isn't staying, no amount of booty shaking will convince me otherwise Jane." He reached down and picked up his dog and turned out the lights as he made his way to his bedroom.

(Yeah sure. I had't really thought about it♥)


I fell asleep almost istantly. A nine hour walk through the snow will do that to a person. It will also give you scary dreams where you get buried under 20 ft. of snow. Although the one where I walked through a museum in my underwear, I have no idea where that came from.


I woke up at about four in the morning. I used the bathroom, then I realised my throat was really dry. Water... I thought sleepily. I went downstairs in the long hoodie to get a drink.

There is someone outside. Who is it. Who is it. My human is here. There is no one else here, what is going on. Human wake up.


Jane jumped on James who groaned and rolled away, which just made the determined corgi start to lick his face. He groaned and got up groggily, walking downstairs in nothing. He walked to the dog door and opened it because he had assumed thats what Jane had wanted. When he looked down and didn't see her run out, he looked for her, saw Liza and jumped because he'd forgotten she was here in his tired state, and hadn't imagined she'd be downstairs this early. "Oh!" And then he realized he was naked and coverd himself, "Oh shoot! Shoot!"


Jane ran down the stairs and found the other human, ready to attack the intruder, until she realized she knew this human. Liza! Liza had come back! Jane hadn't seen Liza in what felt like years and instantly ran to her, jumping on her leg.

 

[Kaoru Asuna]

"Oh!" I heard behind me. I turned around, and immediatly wished I hadn't. There was James. Naked. I snapped my eyes shut, and covered them with one hand just to be safe.


"Shit, James! What in the world--"


I felt paws on my leg. Jane. I reached down to touch her head, remembering I was only wearing a long-ish hoodie.

 

[DrCompton]

"I forgot you were here!" James was covering himself and went behind the couch to hide himself. He looked out the window, "oh no." He went out from behind the couch forgetting his nakedness. "Look.... Out... Jesus it's a blizzard!"


It had snowed over night, and the entire car was covered, he wouldn't be able to take her into town.

 

[Kaoru Asuna]

"What? You mean we're snowed in?" I exclaimed. I made the mistake of opening my eyes and saw his naked ass standing by the window before managing to close them again. I turned around.

 

[DrCompton]

"Sorry! Ill.. go put on pants!" He ran upstairs, and then walked back down with shorts on. "Yeah... we looked... snowed in." He frowned, "There are plenty of supplies here to last us for like 3 or 4 months, because I knew this was a posibility just... I wasnt expecting a second person, but we should still have enough." He rubbed his face.

 

[Kaoru Asuna]

I opened my eyes when I heard him leave. I sat on one of the chairs by the table, keeping my legs tight together. Who sleeps naked any more?! I thought, half annoyed, half embarrassed. How can I look at him again?


(I have to go.)

Jame sat across from her and frowned, "So... looks like we're gonna become good friends... or murder each other, I suppose it could go either way." He smiled a little. "Want some coffee? Im pretty much awake." He stood up and walked toward the kitchen and got stuff together to atleast make himself a cup of coffee


(Alright)

 

[Kaoru Asuna]

"Ha ha." I didn't look at him when he stood up. I felt like Supergirl, I had x-ray vision. "Thanks, but 4am is a bit too early for me. I'm gonna go back to sleep for a few hours." I stood up, walked to the stairs and paused at the bottom. "If I'm not up by twelve come wake me okay? I'll probably try to punch you though, so be careful."


I went into my room and shut the door, not locking it so he could get in later if I didn't get up, and jumped into bed, falling asleep right away.

James did his morning routine, drank some coffee, put on more clothes and watched Jane get lost in the snow, then come back excitedly after she did her business. He ate some cereal and browsed the internet for awhile before doing a small workout of mostly push ups and sit ups. Around noon he walked upstairs and knocked on her door lightly and opend it, "Liza?"


Jane shook her self, trying to get the extra snow off of her after her adventure to go potty. She followed James around, and when he was exercising she attacked him thinking James was doing some sort of new playing, which she found out when he swatted her away, that he wasn't. When he started to walk upstairs he went to the second door and opened it. Jane dashed through the door and attacked Liza with a flurry of licks and kisses.

I woke up covered in slobber, and felt something jumping around on the bed.


"Bad dog," I whispered smiling a little, pushing her head away gently. I cracked an eye open and saw James standing there. "You're lucky you let Jane wake me up. I really would have punched you."

 

[DrCompton]

James smiled, "Thats why I send in the cute one in first." He winked and close the door, leaving Jane in there with Liza. He walked back downstairs and made himself a sandwhich, wondering what he was going to do with Liza. She would have to stay, there is no way they could go down there in this. He frowned a little and sighed, "So much for solitude."

I sat up and stretched my arms over my head yawning. I threw on the pj bottoms and ran downstairs to grab my clothes, which were pretty dry. I went back to my room, changed, glad to have my underwear back, found a hair brush in the bathroom and brushed my hair, then went downstairs again. I found James in the kitchen making a sandwich.


"Mind if I have some cereal?" I asked, pulling a box of Cheerios from a shelf. I poured myself a bowl and sat at the table, yawning again.

 

[DrCompton]

"Sure, you dont have to ask.. You're.. kinda stuck here for now. So Im not sure what we're gonna do about your clothes, cause I imagine you'll want to wear more than just that." James scratched his head and showed her where the stuff was. "I guess I can lend you some of my stuff. I mostly packed lazy clothes anyways like sweats and shorts and hoodies and old t-shirts cause I wasn't coming up here to impress anyone." James smiled a little.

 

[Kaoru Asuna]

"Okay," I mumbled, spooning cereal into my mouth, "Thanks." I ate as quietly as is possible with crunchy cereal.


"Oh hey," I said after a few minutes, "do you have a pool table here?" (Please say yes.)

"Yeah, its in the back, if you go through the door under the stairs. Here I'll show you, do you play a lot?" James stood up and walked toward what they called the game room for the cabin. It had the pool table in the center with a small bar and a table in there. There was a shelf filled with board games. "I wasn't expecting company so I didnt even really think about this room.
