I stumbled upon a Twitch stream full of communists. Literally communists. They were hilarious, so I came back yesterday night and got some reading material. Apparently I've been a Socialist all my life.


Anyone else find it odd Americans use and wear stuff made across the Pacific freaking Ocean? I've always figured it wasn't very efficient...

I'm not going to start a political debate because I know it will only end with the death of this RP, so I think we should step around this and talk about something else, like Nicolas Cage, or Tom Hanks.

I think everyone is just a little busy..but with all of us replying to the OOC Chat so often, I think it shows that we're all still paying attention. I personally can't do anything, and neither can crucial star, or even Soulfire, I think, until either Annabelle or Esca replies. They're both really busy..


 
And we can change the subject, sure, but I don't know that starting a -discussion- would be a bad thing. I think most everyone in the world as disagreed with communism for decades. Most, not all. There is no need to debate anything..she was just..saying what she discovered.


 
And I have two hours to write a paper!! >_>;;;

Hmmm. okay, straying away from touchy subjects is a must then! Ah! Annabella replied, actually! So we're just waiting for Esca, and I don't mind waiting for her! Since she did tell us she was going to be busy for a good while and have slow replies, and she's managing three different characters.


BUT. Like Linwe said, we should frequently talk on here and just chat about the most randomest things ever! I didn't know it would take the whole day to work on a Speech outline. I swear Gaaahssss.

Well, I prefer writing it, too. They say it's supposed to..you know, keep them entertained, help them get what they want quicker. And, in truth, I think it's just to make them feel more in control of their experience..

Listening to Ash was really interesting. It reminded me of a sermon from a Christian preacher, except that instead of 'coming out of the closet' it was 'confessing.' It's neat how you can hear the same sort of thing in two completely different contexts.


It's also brutal irony that Linwe mistook me for a woman when the conflicts that Ash talked about in her Ted Talks were both about her being mistaken for a man. I'm hoping that writing Lenna, even though she's not particularly emotional, might help me write better women in the future. My sister would probably kill me if I ever tried to write a novel that didn't have strong women in it. >_>'


I'd love to offer up an interesting discussion topic, but my head is completely filled up with economics...
