Forbidden Love (Dreamer)

Izabelle-

"I'm back!" I wanted to hug them but also fight them all off so I could make sure it was true, but for now, this was incredible.

((And now, back to school. Cause I went today. And I feel awful. Woo!))

((Aw, I'm sorry :( ))

Reven-

I was shaking a little, and Father was rubbing my back with a strong, warm hand, his other arm around Izabelle, and I could feel Mother's hand over one of mine.

"You're back." Father said gently, and pressed his head against ours, letting out a slow, careful breath I knew meant he was controlling himself. "I'm so glad you're back."

Izabelle-

I couldn't help frowning, "But. . . Where was I?". This room was warm, and full of people. Not at all like the freezing, damp woods had been with my voice sailing out into the nothing.

Ben-

I shook my head, fingers curling in Dad's sleeve because it was there and I wanted to hold on. "I don't know. You - You touched the weapons and - and you flew back and you were just - just gone." It was terrifying.

((*cough* Reven *cough*))

Izabelle-

I frowned, meeting Reven's eyes, "Favian told us. . .". Well, he didn't tell us what would happen, but he had warned of something. And hey! Where was he anyhow? Jerk should be in here by now!

((*cough* Fenris *cough* XP))

Reven-

I frowned a little, shrugging slightly. "He - He said that we couldn't touch it, because we don't have magic. . . He didn't say what would happen." I wondered if he'd gotten in trouble again. I hoped not.

((Karma hates me. Must you always one up me?))

Izabelle-

"I'm fine, Mother" I repeated an hour later, "Please let me stand. I'm fine!". But she insisted, I wasn't moving anytime soon. So when she finally fell asleep in the chair next to me, Father also asleep but standing and leaning against a wall, I shook Reven, hoping he was still awake so he wouldn't make a noise and surprise them.

"You have to go find him, Reven" I whispered, "You have to make sure he's okay"

(( :D ))

Reven-

I looked at Izabelle, worried, and didn't want to leave her. I nodded fractionally, though, after a long pause, and glanced at Mother and Father. ". . . Don't let Father sleep like that for long." I knew he could probably do it, but if he stayed that way too long while sleeping he'd either get sore or collapse onto the ground.

((Brat( ;) )

Izabelle-

I made a bit of an exasperated face at him. I wasn't allowed to move, what in the name of Heavens was I supposed to do with Father? And Reven knew perfectly well Father slept lightly! I'd scare him before I could do anything else. . .

(( \(^-^)/ ))

Reven-

I rolled my eyes at her, kissed her forehead, and crept very quietly away from the bed. I managed to get out without waking Father, moving on silent feet, but left the door slightly cracked so the sound of it closing wouldn't startle him awake. Now I just had to find someone that could tell me where Fenris was, or at least find him myself.

Izabelle-

I laid there, studying the ceiling. I really hated this. Sitting here doing nothing? It wasn't for me. I decided then and there I would just go after Reven, I was just as silent as he was! So I might've had a bit of fun and tapped him on the shoulder after sneaking up behind him, "Hello, kind sir!"

Reven-

I was just beginning to think I knew how to find Fenris when someone tapped me on the shoulder and I very nearly jumped out of my own skin. "Izabelle!" I hissed in a whisper, spinning around to face her and frowning a little. "What are you doing? You're supposed to be in bed! And you startled me." She was just lucky no one was really in sight yet or we'd probably both be in trouble.

Izabelle-

I grinned, bouncing on my toes as I gave him the best pouty eyes I could. "Oh come on, Reven, you knew I wouldn't stay!". Besides, this was my plan, I had to lead it! It always worked out that way.

Reven-

I frowned at her, petulantly, then finally shook my head. "Oh, fine. . . We'll find him together - but no splitting up." I wanted to keep an eye on her, and splitting up always got us in trouble. We were better together.

Izabelle-

I just grinned at him again and tugged him forward. Did I have any idea where we were going? No. But that was the fun of it! Now, how in the name of Heavens does one locate an elf?

((I'm sorry my replies have been so slow as of late. Things have just gotten really stressful at work, and occasionally at home, I've been more busy with attempting to have a social life and be a better friend, and I've been getting writers block for a lot of my rps. When I get too many rps stacked up that I need to reply to, I feel a little more stressed, and sometimes I'll open them, look at them, won't be able to think of anything to write, and will close it again, so I've really only been posting when I have a real idea of what I want to say. So please don't be offended if you see me online posting somewhere and I don't reply to this at the same time. I will continue to do my very best to reply in a timely fashion, but I just want to warn you that that may not always happen so quickly as we all would like, myself included -_- ))

Reven-

I smiled just a little and let Izabelle pull me, looking around as we went. "Should we look at the armory again?" I frowned, thinking. "I don't think we should go anywhere near inside, but maybe he'll still be there somewhere. . . Or maybe we can ask around and find Jesslin, and then she can tell us?"

((Honestly not a problem. Im so stressed Ive been vomiting. Dont worry about it. Take care of yourself, breath, and remember that Im always here for you!♥))
Izabelle-

I tried not to balk at the idea, but nodded, tightening my grip on his hand. "Good idea". Maybe we could call his name as we got closer to it?

((Oh god D: Are you okay? Is it school? Work? I hope everything's all right...))

Reven-

I looked back at my sister, fingers curling tight around her hand. "Don't worry, Iz." I said softly, giving a little squeeze. "'I'll protect you." Izabelle didn't often need protecting, but when she did I was here. I was always ready to throw myself in front of anything coming to hurt her.

((I'm fine. It was a giant life decision- Hawaii or Portland? I'm staying in Portland, so I'm better now. But it was stressing me out so bad. Hope you're doing better(: ))

Izabella-

I leaned into him, almost following behind him. He'd always been this way. Leading quietly and protecting me, who was stumbling and loud. Mother and Father would often laugh at the story of our birth- how Reven had come into this world first, quiet and gentle, and I'd been making a ruckus since the moment life entered my lungs.

Reven-

I led Izabelle with me, my fingers tight around hers, and stopped us at corners to peek around. We really didn't have to worry about sneaking about here, though, and after a while when we encountered elves we were able to ask where Jesslin had gone. They didn't know where Fenris was, but if we could find her she could probably tell us where he was. She seemed to watch over him as much as she watched over us.

Jesslin-

A gentle knock came to my door. With a wave of my hand, it opened to reveal the children. I couldnt help smiling at them, not with their curious eyes.

"Hello there. What has you out at this hour?"

Reven-

I blinked, surprised, and glanced back and forth to see how the door had opened before just shaking my head a little. "We - We were looking for Fenris." I started, not sure if we should enter fully or stay in the doorway. "We were . . . going to help him with his weapons training." Which wasn't really a lie, since Izabelle obviously wanted to help. But foremost we were trying to be sure he hadn't gotten punished again because of us.

Izabelle-

Jesslin smiled, shaking her head only a little, "He's in the West Library. You'll find him by the largest window". I spun back around and made it out into the hallwaay before looking back, confused, at Reven. "Um, which way is West?"

Reven-

I paused, thinking, and frowned a little before going to find a window. "That way," I said, pointing, once I'd found the sun. "It's that way." I started walking, pulling her carefully along with me. "I'm sure he's okay. He's probably just studying or something." Did people here study like we did? Maybe he was reading for fun.

Izabelle-

I grinned, following after him, loving the light echo of out feet scattering across the halls. But I was stunned when we saw the beautiful library doorway. It was huge, and a cherry wood, details in silver and gold with jewels sprinkled among it.

"Wow" I whispered, stopping in my own tracks.
