Realistic or Modern Flight 2466: Plane Crash

He brushed his fingers against his forehead. "It's bleeding a bit. But it's not severe... I have a migraine, but nothing-- how ironic --that some water can't fix." He put his hand on the back of his neck "If you know where the source is..." He spotted some mostly undamaged, discarded coconut shells, and it made him realize how hungry he was. "We can take some coconuts shells, and fill them up with water!"

These people weren't savage. In fact, they were kind and welcoming. They had a need, and Tyler would do his part to help.

Rae smiled broadly.

"That's a great idea!" she said. She took off what remained of her vest, and tied some knots in it, handing it to Tyler.

"May knows the way, so we will have to take her lead. Here, put what you can in here, and we can be on our way. Thank you so much for your help, and once we get there I will make sure to look at your head, okay?"

She rose to her feet as quickly as she could; she was distracted from her own pain by the need to do something.

She looked at the three remaining survivors; May, Randall, and Flannery.

"May, how are you?" she asked. "Be honest with me. Are you going to be able to make the trip alone, or are you going to need one of us to help you? I don't want you to injure yourself further by doing too much too soon."

She assessed the situation. If May needed help, she could get in between May and Randall and help Tyler, since Randall seemed like he would need the most assistance. They would have to come back for Flannery then. If May were okay to make it on her own, then she could help Flannery herself and Tyler could take Randall; those seemed like the best options.

She voiced her opinions to May and Tyler, wondering what they thought would be the best idea. She didn't feel comfortable making all these decisions on her own.

No one had seemed to hear anyone call out, so she pushed that thought to the back of her mind.

She had other concerns, which were directly in front of her.

Tyler, with as much enthusiasm he could muster, began placing any coconut that could hold water into her sweater. When he had collected nine, he sauntered back over to the group.

"So, how are we getting there. It seems dangerous to leave him here, heat stroke and all..."

Tyler was certainly one step ahead of them, May watched him collect the coconuts in brief confusion before realizing they would need something to place the water in. She considered Rae's suggestion, she was so helpful and the least May could do was assist Rae and make it easier to do things. Especially with the situation Randall seemed to be in, it made it more simple if she were to reject the notion of sleep and make the short trip there. It obviously wasn't a conflict for May and they could get him there quicker whilst helping one other. "I believe I would be alright to make the trip, you should stay here and assist Flannery and I may traverse with Tyler and Randall. thank you for all that you've done, Rae." She turned towards Tyler who had made his presence known before inclining her head in gratitude. "Intellectual thinking with the coconuts, I was wondering if you and me could travel to the stream with Randall in order to supply him with water while Flannery and Rae stay here..would that be amenable for you?"

"Sure! We can totally go together! The coconut idea wasn't reeeally, mine though. I've seen Cast Away. But I figure that it's worth a try, right?" He confessed openly. Even if it was a movie, it was pretty realistic, or at least he figured so.

"I may be thinking too far ahead. But... Should we consider making tents, or camps? Because, I don't think we'll be leaving tomorrow..." He didn't want to face the reality he dispised so much, but he couldn't ignore it.

Upon see the water in the forest Layla dipped her hand in the water cupping it in her hands drinking it in gulps. She didn't realize how thirsty she was until the water started pouring down her throat. Although the water wasn't the cleanest it still tasted pretty damn good. Layla stopped drinking and looked at the sky and trees. The girl still found it pretty strange that the plane had crashed after everything. She wondered how her family was and if they had heard about the crash. That answer was very likely though as we have been here for a couple hours. She hoped they still thought that she was alright. But that was probably unlikely as the last thing she texted her family as the warning came up was 'Plane Crashing. I'm scared. I love you all. Goodbye'

The girl sighed shaking off the memory and leaned against a tree, taking another handful of water in her mouth. It was best not to think about it. It was getting dark as well and they still needed to find food. She shrugged and looked up. Maybe today was a lucky day because in her line of sight were a few bunches of bananas in the tree and few others.

"Guys! I think I found dinner!"

She looked to the new-ish guy. Tyler, was it? "Meh." She thought."He ain't a bad lookin' fella, I'll give him that. Maybe this won't be that bad."

"Tents, huh?" Flannery said. "That's a good idea, but right now, getting everyone at full power and healing is more important. We'll also need fire for the night, and a way to keep extra food from spoiling." Flannery grimaced in pain as she tried to move her leg. She knew that it wasn't broken, and if she wanted to survive, she'd have to do something around camp. She couldn't leave it to one person to help everyone. Using her good leg, she tried to stand herself up. "May, I think I can make it. Besides, I think that this'll fix itself if I can get some water in me. I could help carry the coconuts. and if we find anything else, well, y'know."

"What?" Gwen glanced back at Layla when she heard the girl mentioning her finding dinner. She then followed her gaze, looking up at the trees. A smile formed on her lips as she noticed the bananas, a whole bunch of them that was enough to feed the whole group and the others. Now that Gwen was actually thinking of food, she could hear her stomach grumbling loudly. "Good job Layla" she said with a smirk. "Anyone volunteer to go up and get some?" Gwen asked as she looked back down at everyone else with a raised eyebrow. "We need to get enough for everyone and we need to hurry."

Arabella kept screaming, until she felt the harsh metallic taste of blood in her mouth. Her mouth was dry, and she was in desperate need of water. She was beginning to give up. She was too far away for anyone to even hear her, much less see her.

She started to pull at her hair, thinking of all the things she never got to do in her life. She would have began to cry, if she wasn't as dehydrated as she was.

She couldn't die here. She wouldn't allow herself that. She had to live, she had to get off. If anything, she would at least try. If she were to die on this beach, under this stupid piece of metal, then she died trying.

Arabella began her screaming again, coughing up blood every now and then. But she didn't stop, she continued, even louder than before at times. She wasn't going to die here, not like this. That thought alone, gave her the strength she needed.

Toby Guzzeti

A blush reddened Toby's cheeks as he listened to Yarrow's suggestion. He liked the idea, but the other group might worry about them. He laughed a little at his proposed promise, Toby nodding his head a little excitedly. "Yeah, that would be nice." He said, answering both of Yarrow's questions.

@Zatanna

Rae nodded in agreement.

"As long as you are sure you can make it May, I am fine with that idea."

"Flannery, are you sure you're okay to walk? Your leg seems pretty bad."

She still thought, from time to time, that she heard someone calling out - screaming even.

"Do you guys really not hear anything though? I swear I thought I heard someone. Maybe while you guys get Randall to the water I will check it out."

She was almost sure she heard someone, a female she thought, but she didn't know where the sound was coming from.

The logical place to look would be near the wreck, so she could start there, but that was not where she had ended up, so she wasn't really sure if that was the right direction to go.

"If you are all sure you can make it then go on ahead. Just make sure they way is clearly marked and I will join you shortly. I keep hearing someone and I want to make sure we aren't leaving anyone behind."

May glanced at Flannery who had offered to help, biting her lip in contemplation before startling at the sudden sound of screaming veering off into the distance. "I believe I heard that as well, there is possibly someone here and as for your offer of help, perhaps it would be best if you stayed with Rae in order to help whomever that was? She would be here alone if you came along but if you wish to come, I certainly would appreciate your assistance as it seems like you need water as well.." She had been surprised by the sudden rush of newly found survivors and she wouldn't doubt that the screams they had heard belonged to a straggler, she just hoped that they weren't badly injured.

Tyler went silent, a look of horror on his face. "You guys can hear screaming? I... I can't hear anything!" He started to panic at the thought of never hearing music again, what if he was going deaf?! "I just realised, I can't hear as well! It kinda sounds like I'm underwater!" He sunk to his knees. "Oh my God why..." he moaned, kunkles turning white with his grip on the sweater.

"Cool. Sounds like a plan. Come on lets go back." he smiled, kissing Toby's hand that was holding his.

"So babe," he laughed a little at the sound of that coming out of his mouth.

"Uh. What are your like goals...? Who do you want to be? What do you want to do? What does your future look like Toby?" he asked looking from Toby, to the sky.

"Sorry... Im not trying to interogate you, just get to know you beter." Yarrow blushed.

Arabella was hungry, tired, and thirsty. She hadn't had food since before the plane, and she needed water, now. She had coughed up quite a bit of blood as she screamed, her throat feeling absolutely horrid. There was this taste of metal in her mouth, that just wouldn't go away. She was once again doubting if anyone even heard her. But eventually, someone has to come her way. Just when was the question.

May instantly went to Tyler's aid, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder in order to center him before hugging him. "Hey, everything's alright and we'll find a way to fix your hearing..you possibly have sand stuck in it or something and you may have to wash it out.. I know this is scary, I'm very scared but we have to get that man to some water quickly.." May smiled comfortingly, withdrawing back before glancing at Tyler. "Do you think you could do that for me? Stay calm and I'll help you."

Toby Guzzeti

Toby let out a nervous chuckle as he felt his lips touch her hand, humming slightly at the touch. His eyes widened, the good sort of widened, as he listened to his new title, his hand squeezing his slightly. He shrugged slightly, his free hand lifting up and scratching his neck. "Well, I was studying to be a graphic designer. I'm pretty good with computers." He said, realising that he probably sounded like a big geek. Toby laughed a little, blushing slightly as he attempted to throw Yarrow a line. "I hope my future will have you in it." He smiled, looking down at the ground.

Tyler calmed down a bit, getting up from where he sat in the sand. "Thanks... I was, just kinda... freakin' out. Y'know?" He sighed, shoulders sagging. "Music's just a really big part of my life. Losing it would be..." He shook his head. "Nevermind. We should go get water now. It's just really hot. And we're stranded on an island. But whatever. Lessgo!" He took a few steps into the bushland, but not soon pulling his face up in disgust. It was awfully muddy, and bugs buzzed around."This is gross." He grumbled, beating away a spiky bush, only to instantly regret it, shooting his hand back into the pocket of his jeans. That lasted for about thirty seconds before he tripped over a tree branch, falling into the dirt, he began cussing. Every word that would throw him out of a classroom, every insult that would give him looks of unorthodox, he shouted angrily, before pulling himself up. Giving a nasty, withering scowl to no one in particular, he continued to grudgingly stomp forward, muttering as he did so.

Yarrow smiled listening to him. He was so cute.

"Computers huh? So basically you're a geek?" he chuckled smiling at Toby.

"Nah Im just kidding. Computers are the future and it's good you know them." he said nodding, agreeing with what he had just said.

He blushed when Toby said he hoped his future had him in it.

"I hope my future has you in it too. I mean I dont see why it couldn't... I mean you aren't out as bi or gay or whatever but... thats not really a problem. I can be just a friend until your comfortable. If you ever want me to like stop being all flirty and shit just say something alright?" he said softly. He knew sometimes he got a little touchy. He had a hard time with boundarys but he was working on it.

"On second thought, I'll stay here and try to work out this thing." She said, motioning to her locked leg. "It feels like a cramp, but I dunno." Flannery sat down in the dirt as best she could, and butt-scooted over to a nearby tree until her back was against its sturdy trunk."Fuck this." She began to stretch her injured leg, working on her calf muscles. "After a bit of this, I should be able to walk again, and then I'll be able to find Layla."
