First Age Boxset?

Presuming it'll be information on playing in the first age... what are your character concepts?

Favored Lion - Dawn caste general of much ass-kickery.  He is arrogant and claims that the UCS favors him above other Solars.

I'll leave it brief and vague seeing as it's one A.M. A lone Solar, drifter somewhat outside the Deliberative, an Iron Wolf who wanders Creation. Not so much part of the Bureaucracy or Deliberative as man pursuing mysteries inside his mind. He is shunned by his bretheren for living like som petty mortal (which is still pretty fucking awesome still compared to today's standards). Destiny and Dark Fate all the way, driven to find the meaning of the shadowed out Maiden hanging over the Northern aurora.

Four words: Misho's First Age Incarnation.

Though he'd probably be on the high end of the power scale, as a primordial war survivor. I could also go for a shadowy Sidereal, watching in the background on behalf of his bretheren, or maybe a Dragon-Blooded, just to see what it'd be like.

And Dragon Kings are, of course, always an option. Would Jyfriss be just as snazzy in the First Age?

One of the circle of lunars & solars that were the first necromancers... because it would be cool to scare everyone else with low level necromancy !

Secret Agent dragonblooded (aspected to air, natch). An exalt who doesn't exist, who answers but to one solar. Yeah... I'd be playing James Bond/Kusanagi Makoto with DB charms and magi-tech artifacts.

His mission... well... I could tell you and let you live if you had the proper security access/protocols.

A mortal thaumaturge technician, trying to earn their way up to working in a Factory Cathedral. And, of course, not get offed by some crazy Exalt along the way. How exactly do you put together a good resume when your last boss went and blew themself up with the initial prototype that eventually led to the Soul Breaker Orb? And the one before that cackles maniacally and turns people into organs and other instruments...when she isn't randomly gutting people just to hear them scream and calling it a musical performance...

Master twilight sorcerer. Sorry, not enough emphasis. Master sorcerer. I'd be probably some kind of nerdy exalted that studied sorcery from his early age, first as a thaumaturge, then as a Solar. Solar circle would probably be an obsession until my early sixties, when I mastered it. Then I'd pass the rest of my existence living in the threshold studying and building artifacts and manses, and receiving as much knowledge as there is. Might sound boring, but I'd really like to do so.

I'd also just want to be a man, man. Compared to Second Age mortals, you live like a king, so what's a little servitude to a Solar and their shiny god-kingdom on that island twenty thousand miles away over their sea? Thaumaturgy ftw! Nations probably lived and died outside of Solar view all the time. One could probably conquer something in the same landmass of Alexander's empire or even the British holdings and the Solars wouldn't ever hear you existed.

Win.

So there's a dawn who thinks he's the king? Can we say Bull of the North?

I think it would be great to play a night caste, since they are my favorite, who is stealthy just because she doesn't look amazing. Something of an ugly duckling who is ignored because she lacks confidence and panache. She doesn't stand out like other exalts and is often handed off for her poor looks and ignored. Making her job as a scout and sabatour all that much easier.

Why would a Solar have to think he was a king?

If a FA Solar wanted to be a king, and the deliberative wouldn't just give him a kingdom, he could go expand Creation and start a new one.

QFT.

I have an idea for an Exalt from the South. The only words behind this that inspired me to dream him up, desert power.

... meaning that he's found some sort of desert cocaine, that allows for travel through the vastness of the Wyld?

I just like the idea of being the Favored Lion who is arrogant and that the UCS loves him more than anyone else.  Then when he turns his back during the usurpation I can be the Forsaken Lion!   :)

I'm honestly just looking forward to writing up my characters' First Age incarnations. That'll be a Dawn, an Eclipse, and a No Moon, so I'll have plenty of variety...
