lol Shinon. It’s funny because when I was reading your character profile the other day, I immediately thought of Shinon. He was one of my favorite characters in path of radiance, despite his open racism. After the characters talk for a while, they start to make the racism less serious and into more of a joke. Then Shinon’s interactions are funny as he starts warming up to the Laguz. That’s what I’m gonna be trying to do in the RP.

When Tali transformed in front of Revek, in my mind I saw her losing her temper and kind of doing that hilarious thing that cats do where they “puff up.” lol The next time they interact, Revek could tease her about it, and it could be very amusing. lol

I was thinking he'd just stop once he got to know them better, since they aren't the "fearsome, monstrous, and man-eating beasts" he'd always imagined and heard of.

Gonna take a while for Tali since the first time he's seen her was with her claws and teeth bore to an ally.

Now that I think about it, Anthony probably wouldn't like Revek that much either since she provoked a member of a species literally called "The Savages". Of course, he still likes Tali less for doing what was, in his eyes, the Beastman equivalent of drawing your weapon on someone. He's more scared of Beastmen than hateful, despite the jokes.

Im pretty sure Hercule wanted everyone's characters to be one big happy family. lol I think we got a little bit of work before we get to that point.

I love how I'm not sure if Hercule intended for the Beast Folk tribe's title to sound racist or not, but it totally does. And now everyone is rolling with it.

The boat ride might actually be pretty uneventful since the most boring person will have to sit in the middle. Anthony would flip the boat with all of his armor otherwise.

Lol I understand them not being one big happy family, Brendan wants them to be one big happy family.

Also lol, was gonna have Karliah go the healer-sage route but if she needs to start smacking heads might go the war monk route, give her a huge axe!
Half of me is tempted to just have Joy be promoted to assassin but currently, I was only planning on having Brendan be a promoted class.
As the only one who can fly, if the boat tips while they're on the magical floating river Joy is only saving karliah

Lastly, I don't know a good term for the beastfolk :| Theyre not exactly laguz so I can't really call them that. Maybe I should call them Solomen (pronounced like soloman) after their god?

One point for the Solomen. Though Solomen sounds very similar to Soloman when you say it right so that could get confusing. Hi we are the solomen we worship soloman.

We were named when our lone ancestor left the empire and needed a last name on his pastport.

That sounds like a good idea, but the main "issue" is the carnivores being called "The Savages" even by themselves. You'd think they'd have a more flattering name than using an insult for their entire species.

Oh yeah in my next post, or the one where Joy gets everyone to board the boat, he's gonna have Anthony strip and put his armour on one of the horses cause otherwise he'd move too slow.

He'd probably be wearing a gambison underneath so he wouldn't be without any protection but in Joys mind it'd slow them down too much to have a full adorned armoured guy.

What good would leather be against big meaty claws? He'd probably be so nervous he'll actually stand up for Tali so she doesn't go berserk and tear him and the rest of them up.

Leathers actually good against big meaty swords so... probably good.
Also only the savage have claws... you have to be more concerned about... blunt weapons.
