Just FYI I plan on having us progress a fair bit in the next post, I want to get to the brigand camp soon so we can get some action going.
 
Wow all of the active female characters have some sort of backstory that alters their world view negatively while Anthony is "Look pa'! I'm an Armor Knight!" and Joy is "I am a bird, foolish humans!"

Maybe, but I'm more joking about how his isn't tragic in any way. He got to grow up knowing both of his parents, at the very least, so his world view is somewhat pretty normal.
 
Really nice bandit characters HerculePyro HerculePyro . I can't wait for the characters to definitely learn their stories and not just kill them within 5 minutes of battle.
 
Making my post now. if no one has any problems ill unload the horses or help anyone who’s already on the move to do so. Why does this excite me so much?

Even though Tali was raised in a household where she was viewed as less than human and essentially kept as a pet, I didn’t want her world view to come off as negative. In the beginning she’s maybe been a bit socially awkward, but I feel that’s to be expected. The fact that she’s enlisted into the militia proves in my eyes that she doesn’t hold any resentment towards humans for the way they treated her. So I wouldn’t say that her world view is negative. There’s been some obvious racism in the RP towards her so far, but I want her to overcome that and form some very strong relationships with the rest of the crew.

Eh, we're still probably gonna fight them.

But I feel like even if one of us crits them to death, they'll just "retreat".
Damn, I've been defeated... But I can't fall here, I must make my retreat!
 
Oh you're certainly going to have to fight them, my dear agent, whether you survive is the question

I wouldn't be so crass as just say "as they were struck down they fled" though in hindsight FE does do that sometimes doesn't it... hmm...

Anthony handled getting bitten by tali a lot better than I thought.

I feel like I should say most of you should recognise fydoria, she's been in the militia for a little while and I doubt there are any other pegasus knights.

No worries Arcanist, these have been some pretty big posts too.

I feel the need to say that I didn’t expect Tali to injure Anthony that badly. I figured the sleeves of his gambeson would be padded enough to prevent her from ripping into his arm. While it’s true she’s gripping onto him with her mouth, she’s not biting him with the entire force of her jaws. Also, leopards drag entire deer carcasses up trees. So Tali would definitely be able to drag him anywhere she wanted, even if he is technically bigger than she is. She was only grabbing him out of the way for a split second though, so if the Pegasus rider had attacked he wouldn’t have taken the first hit. Which is good cause he doesn’t have his armor. He would’ve had time for a follow up attack with his sword and shield, though. That’s what I thought in my mind, at least. lol

Alright, I can understand that. I assumed she was just biting his hand because I think that's what it said in your post, and I also didn't think about the fact that she could just grab his arm from the side and I kept thinking about the logistics of her trying to bite him further down his arm without gagging. Plus, Hercules had Karliah step in after the fact to heal him, so I again assumed that Anthony had gotten injured. Sure, I could change it to make him less injured, but since I only woke up now for no reason and will go back to sleep soon, it'll take a while.

Also, with Anthony's comments about her not being able to drag him, I think it works as a "ignorant Anthony underestimating the beastkin because he's definitely not racist and stupid" moment. But, he is pretty large, especially compared to Tali, so there is some logic in what he said.
 
Yeah so I mean about Fydoria she’s been I. The militia for a little under a year give for take 30-60 days. So I guess I should let you all decide the level of involvement you’ve had with her. Or honestly you could just act like you remember her from somewhere because in truth she’s been adjusting to becoming a normal person for quite sometime. In her academy days she made more enemies than friends and she has primarily spent time with Captain Brendan because she holds him in exceptionally high regard and Joy because he’s the reason she become more integrated with people directly. Other Militia NPCs, and province people around the Rivercross village.

So that’s kind of why her reaction is more strong towards Imrae because she feels maybe she would have caught wind of this information from someone but she feels awkward in having asserted herself towards someone she’s just met.
If you’ve been in the militia for quite some time odds are she would know some small details about you because her studious nature I can reflect these in my posts but not directly after all she’s not really amazing at understanding this whole friend thing. I mean her two friends are her bosses and a Pegasus so it’s safe to say she socially awkward as crap. Feel free to ask me questions and stuff too.

Like I said I’m more new to RP and stuff so I probably should’ve had Fydoria wait until Imrae’s post to mess with the horses. Oofie.

But after another post or so I can respond to Anthony and possibly Imrae about her ritual before we enter battle or just come to Imrae after battle. For Exalts sake.

There's no need to edit what you wrote. I'm actually just gonna roll with it. My surprise is most likely Tali's surprise, as well. She might have been raised in a human household, but she's still a Laguz. She isnt really aware of her own strength, you see. Also, for some reason I really like the idea of Anthony training Tali in military tactics. 😸 Dolches Dolches
