Equipment: Uses Armiger magic. Currently, Lorin is only bonded with a survival knife given to his father. He is proficient with other weapons, but by request of his father he only uses that knife for his magic currently.
Fighting Style: Lorin fights aggressively, but not recklessly. He prefers to warp in to start a battle, and can use his phasing to dodge attacks while striking in opportune moments. He is also proficient in changing weapon styles on the fly. That said, he can get excited in the heat of battle and rely too much on warping and phasing, in which case he will become exhausted for a moment - plenty of time to be struck down.

Appearance

Personality: Lorin is a charismatic young man, though still passionate and headstrong due to his youth. Even so, he believes in the right of people to live their lives and tries to allow this, though when one decides that the way to live their life is to harm another, he steps in. His loyalty is to his family and crew first and foremost, and will not put them in undue danger - not even for a national leader.

History: Lorin was born on the League ship that his father and mother captained: "Tolra's Doom", named for striking down a feared sky-pirate. Regardless of this, he lived as normal a life that the son of a League Captain could. He learned from a young age how to lead, how to fight, and how the ship and her people worked. In addition, when it was found he shared the silver talent with his mother, she taught him how to use it herself.

The crew grew to like Lorin for the most part, and most consider him to be the natural heir to Tolra's Doom when his father steps down. Of course, no one knows when that would be...​

Equipment: Abby carries around a basic wooding staff with a herbalist kit containing plants gathered in her travels to be used when magic cant solve the problem. Shes able too use Cura and stone and aero as a combat spell and is able too blind others.
Fighting Style: Abby tries too avoided fights as much as possible. But when in combat Abby will act as a support unit giving minor healing to her allies and can blind foes for up too six secs. If on the offensive she can use Aero to cast wind magic and Stone to throw any nearby earth.

Personality: To the public eye Abby would come off as a soft-spoken person. But to those that know her to see her as someone who is very passionate about her work and is all ways excited when finding new ways to help others. When others are hurt she tends to refuse to take no as an answer and will get right too work on you regardless of your feelings.

History: Abby was born in markath too a family of weaker white mages. Growing up it was found that Abby was very gifted in the white arts and this would eventually get her a scholarship to one of the most famous White magic schools in markath. Abby would study here for a few years but would end up leaving after having several arguments with her professors and other students. Not having anywhere to go after this she would join the league as a freelance doctor to do her own research during her travels and hopefully make some sort of medical breakthrough while healing the illness her parties tend to get.

Fighting Style: Unlike most black mages, Kiel doesn't prefer to stand on the side and shoot spells from a safe distance at his enemies. He often prefers to be among them, step around their attacks, and weave spells into his own movements. Most of the magic he uses is at the base or second (-ra) level due to being quicker to cast, but he still knows a third (-ga) level Fire spell as well for if/when the situation arises. He isn't much for strategizing, and although his fighting style can't be considered reckless by any means, it isn't exactly calculated beforehand. He describes it as "an improvised dance! Like when suddenly hear a song you love and can't help but move!"

Personality: Kiel can be described as extremely cheerful and bubbly. He's able to stay positive even in the most dire situations and is always smiling. Sometimes his optimism is to a fault. He believes there is good in everyone and everything, and if someone or something is doing a bad thing, it's for a good reason. He doesn't feel this justify their actions or absolve them of any consequences, but it makes him reluctant to fight unless he needs to. Even during combat his demeanor is always apologetic. If retaliating isn't a necessity he often just avoids his opponents' attacks until they tire out and give up.

Regardless of if he's fighting back or not, he uses battles as a way to put on a show, making each move as if it was choreographed, and casting his magic at optimal times to enhance it. This is especially the case when he's fighting alongside allies, and he'll even go so far as to ask for feedback on his steps from them.

Another flaw of his is being oblivious to when people around him dislike him. This goes so deep that even if someone were to insult him to his face, he would somehow find some good in their statement and take it as a compliment. Luckily for those people, he isn't extremely energetic, attached, or overbearing, but rather extremely relaxed.

His interests, personality, and mannerisms could be considered stereotypically effeminate, but he's happy with them and doesn't mind if others criticize, although he is a little apprehensive about going to Belen or interacting with someone from the nation, due to their culture having negative views of his "softness."

History: Kiel was born to a family in Markath who lived among a community of nomads. In terms of their attitudes, they were extremely akin to hippies, believing that everyone should be able to do whatever they enjoy as long as it's not hurting anyone else. It's easy to see that these views heavily influenced Kiel in his upbringing.

His community didn't follow the societal norms of their nation in the pursuit of knowledge in schools of magic, which left them fairly outcast from Markathian society. Ironically, many of them were extremely skilled in magic regardless. They also lived fairly meagerly, as many of the well-paying jobs required good educations, but they were content.

Due to the nomadic environment he grew up in, Kiel had no issue hopping aboard the Tolra's Doom and traveling the world when he found an opportunity there. Due to learning about the stars and many constellations as a child, he is very fit for being a navigator, especially if the technology aiding those in the position fails.

Fighting Style: Fast and furious; rapid strikes from all possible angles zeroing in on any guards left open. M'ryha is very likely to be the first person into the fight... and the first one out of it, for that matter; she has little compulsion to stick around in a fight that's going to end poorly for her.

Personality: Freewheeling, opportunistic, curious and a touch reckless, M'ryha very likely could have ended up a sky pirate had she not been hired first as a lookout for the League, where her sharp eyesight and keen intuition have served her well. That being said, her penchant for gambling, her desire (and low tolerance) of alcohol, and her occasionally short temper have in turn led to more than one occasion of her fleeing into the night with an angry tavern mob nipping at her heels. In other words, just your everyday lovable scoundrel with a bar tab longer than her tail.

History: Prior to her time with the League, M'rhya was your everyday unlovable scoundrel on the streets of Belen, scraping together whatever she could between the infamous triad of begging, borrowing, and stealing. The numerous military bases in the area meant that perfectly good supplies were often disposed of wholesale due to logistical hassle, but that retrieval of these goods was always fraught with danger. Then again, when the choice was between braving sword and axe wielding depot guards or going with an empty belly and a cold night of sleep, rarely did the latter win out. For many years, this comprised the majority of M'rhya's existence, until one day she got caught.

Somehow, whether by empathy, luck, or just pity at the clearly ragged Miqo'te he'd snagged by the tail, the soldier who caught her relented at throwing her into the brig. Instead, he allowed her to stay in an unused office in the depot warehouse, but if and ONLY if she agreed to keep an eye out for future intruders, and, more importantly, if she stayed out of sight of the other soldiers on base. To her credit, she actually became quite good at her duties, and while the soldier had little more to offer than a place to stay and food to eat, at one point he gave her a token gift; a combat knife which just "happened" to have disappeared from the depot's inventory. To M'yrha it was the fondest (and only) gift she'd ever been given, and she treasured it right along side the OTHER combat knife which she'd already liberated much earlier, no fool was she to the possibilities of this place.

But alas, this semi-peaceful life could not last forever, and one day, the soldier announced that he was being reassigned to another post, and that it'd be better for her to depart while he could still make sure nothing came of her presence. M'ryha was sad to have to leave the one place she actually called home for the first time in her life, but knew that it was now time to strike out into the world on her own, to try and grasp hold of whatever her future held. It just so happened that she had seen a posting for hands needed in a so called "League of Free Captains"; sure her "military" qualifications were somewhat fabricated, but as long as her skills rang true, who would be the wiser? And the rest, as they say, is history...

Equipment: Cobalt (Short sword), Broken (combat knife), Stinger (Pistol). Arm mounted grappling hook. Bomb or grenades on occasions, if he can get the material to make them.
Fighting Style: Larue is a close-quarter combatant, using brutal tactics to fight. Using his short sword was his primary weapon, and switching from his pistol or knife when needed. His grappling hook is used for controlling the field around him from closing distances to traps and even using it as a rope mace.

Personality: A reserved individual, Larue is professional and courteous towards he is around. Disciplined and dutiful from his past as a soldier, he is extremely respecting of his commanding officers. With those he is closer to, he has an easy-going demeanor with a bad habit of making dark jokes that don't always land. Since joining the League, Larue has developed a new sense of justice and
altruism with them, finding great joy in the work he now does.

Due to his reserved nature, he keeps to himself about matters, preferring to help with maintenance or filling in for the lookout. When not working he finds himself reading, or playing his guitar.

In battle, that reserved nature turns to a cold fury. Fighting with expert skill and focused aim, his mindset being to end fights quickly and move.

History: Born to an automation technician and a teacher, Larue lived a simple life. Growing up he learned the technical skills that his people were known for and having a respectable aptitude for them. He found he had a more athletic skill, and wanting to be a good countryman Larue signed to become a soldier. Due to his high skill level, he was recruited to become a Gearmen, one of Juril's elite warriors. Passing the training, and tests top of his class, he found himself a great future ahead of him. After one mission in which he led, Larue came back to a court-martial trial, accused of crimes he knew he didn't commit. Despite the strong case, he found himself out of the military and learning of the old rivalry of his family. The Restons, a wealthy family framed him, not wanting anyone in his family to rise too high. A simple letter explaining the point they wish to make.

Scorned by his nation, and knowing any attempt to rise in their society would only bring the wrath of the Restons, Larue began to look elsewhere. Taking the note of an old friend, Larue went to the League and after some time found himself employed to a ship. It didn't take long for him to enjoy his new life and the adventures it brought. Though he did hope that one day he could clear his name and maybe defeat the Restons.

Fighting Style: As a Dragoon, Edrick has the ability to Jump high and maneuver himself in the air to land on his enemies to deal a devastating blow. When on the ground, he relies on his mobility to move around and fights almost like a beast. He strikes with a quick chain of powerful blows from his spear, the jumps back to a distance preparing to strike again.

Personality: Many would describe Edrick at first glance as a serious person, but that is not entirely true. The fact of the matter is that he is just very disciplined. He is a very organized person, and all of his belongings seem to be perfectly in place and well kept. This by no means, he is against humor or fun. In fact, he can be quite impulsive at times, especially when there is the prospect of a good fight. He simply believes that there is a time and place for fooling around. Edrick isn't anti-social, but he does have a hard time making friends, since some see him a scary person. But when does gain allies, he is loyal and true to them as any other. He holds his friends and Kingdom higher than himself.

History: Edrick was born into a well off noble family in Belen as the second son. From a young age, as all noble children are, he was taught how to fight from a young age. The Valor family, a family of dragoons, expected highly of Edrick. He was expected to follow the tradition of the famed dragon knights, and he exceeded all expectations by mastering the spear at the age of 15. He however lacked one quality, and it was the undying loyalty to his King and countrymen. Edrick loved his family and country, if there was a war that threatened their lives, he would gladly fight. However no war is place, and as the second son, he had no obligation to stay. So when he finished the ceremony of the Dragons soul, he left home. And made his way to the free cities, looking for work and craving adventure.

Fighting Style: Close range combat is preferred. He is able to store a magic into the katana that can be released into forms of special attacks or buffs for himself. The magic is only able to be stored during a fight, like a rechargeable battery. As he fights, the sword recharges and a move can reset it. He's the one that feeds the magic into the katana.

Personality: Cocky, confident in his abilities. He loves the beauty in nature and is particularly fond of clouds.

History: He used to be the bodyguard of a royal, though Tokitoki wasn't very fond of them. They were not the nicest of charges and often times attempted to spew abuse over at him, just because they felt he could take it. They weren't wrong, he could, but it didn't make the situation any better.

Cutting ties, he joined the league so he could put his passion to use. As a sky artist, he can help navigation, understand what the weather plans, and where they are on the map. He particularly loves to lay on the deck and stare at the clouds.

Personality: Young and adventurous, Archy wants to see the world and apply his skills wherever he can. He’s something of a tinkerer and likes working on all kinds of machines but his lack of specialization means he’s not as skilled as a specialist. He’s generally friendly and is good under pressure when it comes to mechanical issues. Though he is not much of a fighter and would much prefer to just run away.

History: Archy was born in a small harbor town that looked after airships and sea vessels all the same. He was the fourth of seven children with his father being a retired sailor and his mother being a fishmonger. His childhood was filled with helping around the shop and asking tired sailors about their adventures when his father was too busy. Early into this he found he had a fascination with machines and how they worked. His parents recognized the fascination and ended up setting him up with an apprenticeship with a local mechanic. Lucky for the young Archy the mechanic didn’t live very far away from his family so even if he did have to move over to the mechanic’s shop he could still visit home regularly. From there Archy began learning the craft of the mechanic and as he has now turned 21 he is able to go out on his own. Though not quite a master in his own right yet a sense of adventure has made him want to leave his hometown and see what else is out there.

Fighting is a simple thing to most, to Cal'vina, it's more or less a matter of trying to stay alive long enough to continue doing what he does best. Which i can assure you, it is not fighting. he will help, but his drone's gun, and subsequently his, will be used from afar and from hopefully behind cover and or other people. Otherwise, hes not quite strong, rather good with his hands and typically able to cobble together a makeshift explosive or.. something? that can help.

A dusky skinned miqo'te who, while working away at an engine, tends to be covered in whatever grease or oil that he was fiddling with that day, He has a Short fluffy head of blonde hair that matches his ears and tail, providing a delicious contrast to his dark toned skin. He has no tattoos, and his skin and hands are rather well taken care of despite the tough work he does. His hair frames his sparkling golden feline eyes rather well, which are typically narrowed, accompanied with a smirk, like a cat who had found it's newest plaything.

He also takes rather good care of himself, as you might guess from below.

"Oh my kitten I assure you I meant absolutely nothing by it."
As you may have gathered he is a very.. flirtacious individual, passion driven and more than a little smug about... Most things. he loves nothing more than so see a face brighten up a few shades of red and stammer away, even more when they return his play. "When all is play, even work is fun. But I assure you I am most attentive and careful around these darling machines... Don't mistake me for some careless kitten now sweet heart." lavacious and... More than a little charged... His attentions are not strictly focused on one person, in fact he doesn't quite.. Fall in line with usual expectations of... Falling in line with one and only one, something he is very open about and makes certain, if one is to play, you know the rules. For both parties. No nightly fun is worth a lifetime or hurt after all, best come to understandings.

This openness about the.. Finer things in life comes from his upbringing and beliefs. Life is life, why limit one's self as long as you can support it. Such is why he took up such a strong position aboard an airship, one that pays well enough for him to send money back to his friends and rather.. well extended family.

Suffice to say.

One in every port doesn't quite tell the whole story.

History:
"First and foremost, I am a magitek engineer, I know these things like the back of my hand... Or the rooms of most brothels in Juril.
I'm kidding kitten, I tended to work only one of those rooms."

He was sprung from a life that was much like his own, his mother was a magitek engineer like him, and much like him a lover more than a fighter, but one who knew the inns and outs of a engine like most people know their own homes. Outside of that, he was raised by a rather group of people, a cult that prioritizes life and liberty, freedom to explore one's self and to spread love wherever they go. This seems nice, but given the later teachings when they finally became adults were... of a similar yet different nature. He was taught not to fear what he wants, and how to take responsibility for that which he does. Or rather whom he does.

But not all is... the pleasures of being alive, he is quite intelligent, and this has shown from his years of working on various vessels, most he left for better offers, some he left as things were getting abit too heated for his taste. And only a few because his antics were not appreciated.

But hopefully he finds better work, something to bring in the gil...

Hes got some prior connections to send money to after all.

Equipment:
Prototype Gunblade X-1 ~ A hefty weapon originally crafted by Edwyn's father. A unique blade, first of its kind X-1 packs some heavy firepower though it is still a prototype. Because of all of the gun mechanisms in the hilt and guard of the blade X-1 is heavier than most swords meaning that it is also slower than most. Now for the gun part of the sword, X-1 uses shell-like ammunition which is loaded by inserting it through the guard which needs to then be racked back via a slide on the side. Currently, X-1 has the capacity of one shell which after each use must be manually ejected and reloaded meaning that X-1 has a rather slow rate of fire, and it is prone to jamming.

Slug Shells ~ an ammunition type that fires a single metal projectile, mostly used at mid-ranged due to X-1's poor accuracy and longer ranges.

Explosive Shells ~ A short-ranged explosive shell used to deal devastating damage to opponents. Though with a strong explosion there is also some strong recoil and it could easily knock Edwyn off balance if he isn't prepared for it. But, this recoil can also be used to propel the blade mid-swing creating a devastating swing though if missed the momentum of the heavy blade will also knock Edwyn off balance.

Fighting Style:
Thanks to X-1's high-risk high reward capabilities Edwyn takes a careful approach to combat specializing in either parrying or dodging opponents and waiting for openings to deal devastating damage. While Edwyn would be classified as a tank he would have less hp than other tank jobs (in a jrpg sense) but instead of absorbing damage, Edwyn opts out to dodge blows as mentioned before.

Appearance:
Edwyn can be described as a tall individual with long, messy brown hair which is usually tied in a low ponytail. Pale green eyes accompany slightly tanned skin with few blemishes other than multiple scars on his hands and arms from his profession as a weaponsmith. Other than that Edwyn is a rather well-built individual as being a gunbreaker requires a large amount of strength to use the gunblade.

Personality:
Formal yet relaxed is a good way to describe Edwyn's personality, or as his father would describe, "A Jurilian with the heart of a Belenian". He's a more go with the flow kind of guy who keeps his mind open to new possibilities and experiences. Appearing much wiser than his age Edwyn can easily fill the older brother role to those younger or around his age, he's chock full of advice and wise proverbs. His formal attitude also affects his speech, usually adding "Sir" or "Lady" when saying a person's name or speaking very eloquently without sounding snooty.

Other than that Edwyn is a very hard and dedicated worker, usually spending long hours working on his craft even into the dead of night. He's quick no notice small details as missing them could mean the difference of his sword exploding in his hands and actually functioning as planned. It wouldn't be a surprise if he pulls an all-nighter working on one of his projects.

History:
The child of a seamstress and a Belen noble who ran away to Juril to live out his Mechanica dream. Needless to say, Edwyn had a rather well upbringing. He was given a good education at a young age and was taught the noble Belenian ways from his father and the thrill of tinkering and experimenting from his mother. As Edwyn grew older he began to follow in his father's footsteps in becoming a weaponsmith and the two began an ambitious project, one they named the gunblade. Work on the gunblade was slow and expensive making a sword that was sturdy enough to house a gun while being maneuverable enough to be used as a sword was tough. The term "Gunbreaker" started as an inside joke between the two as all the unsuccessful prototypes would easily break upon use, "The damn things better at breaking guns than being useful," Edwyn's father would joke and over time the Gunbreaker title began to stick.

As progress moved forward and the Stone's began to inch closer to a functioning weapon prying eyes began to notice their work. The potential was there, a powerful sword that can be used without the use of magitek, only relying on a simple mechanism to fire off projectiles like a regular firearm and resulting in devastating damage. And with the completion of the first prototype that didn't explode under heavy use (The X-1) it was clear that someone wanted their hands on this technology. With their workshop raided and shady figures stalking them throughout the day the Stone's took notice and in order to keep their work and themselves safe the two devised a plan: Edwyn's father would return to Belen with his mother and seek refuge with some family members while Edwyn would take the X-1 as well as their research and join the League. Using the group to continue his research out of the watchful eyes of Juril.

Personality: Adventurous and independent Sif is the type to rush headlong into a situation regardless of how many times her naivete and cultural ignorance makes a mess of things and gets snippy at those who help without being asked.

History: Hailing from a traditionally reclusive Viera tribe living separate from other peoples Sif's curiosity and wanderlust was strong enough for her to leave her life in the forest behind despite the knowledge that doing so meant becoming an outcast.

Finally free to explore the wider world Sif wandered without direction and made many mistakes in remarkably short space of time but still pressed on with joyful enthusiasm. Not long after joining the rest of civilisation she was drawn into the freewheeling lifestyle of the League and signed on with the first crew that would accept a still mostly clueless Viera.

Personality: Serious and humorless at first glance, that is a bit far from what Reginald’s actual personality tends to be like. He’s an adventurer at heart, always willing to swap stories with people, granted his manner of doing so can be easily mistaken as boastful and wishing to one-up someone’s story. You had to sail in a thunderstorm and almost lost your life? He did the same thing, but had to pick off pirates from a distance with a limited amount of ammo on hand. Under all of that, he is a loyal individual who will not waiver on his morals.

History: The son of two well to do merchants, Reginald was afforded the opportunity to live a comfortable life. He was afforded a life of privilege, being able to attend one of Jurill’s finest schools and would then go on to enlist in Jurill’s Navy, serving as a Master-At-Arms.

After his service, Reginald found himself as a freelance bodyguard, offering his services to help protect a ship’s valuable cargo from sky pirates. Eventually, he found himself disenchanted with the role of a glorified bodyguard and was looking for more of a challenge. Coming across a notice of a ship looking for crew members, Reginald packed what little of his life had into a suitcase and set forth to join them, hoping they would fulfill that itch he needed.

Fighting Style: Versatile in swordsmanship primarily favors the use of a one handed or bastard sword compiled with a shield for balanced offense and defense. Can evoke fireballs and enchant his gear with fire damage/resistance

Appearance: average height, muscular build with red hair, matching red plate armor, and fair/pale skin

Personality: Calm and focused on achieving his tasks. A soldier at heart. Willing to protect those who need it or aggress those who would threaten him or his party. Speaks properly and with respect to his ally/adversary. Honest.

History: Began training at a young age and was among the few of prodigy squires. Raised under a family who bore the flame sigil, his destiny was laid out to become one of Belen’s greatest generals in their military. Silas, however, witnessed some of the cruelty and corruption displayed in the ranks he was involved with and refused to accept this was the way people should be treated. After almost succumbing to a similar abusive fate, he jumped at the nearest opportunity to leave and find a more virtuous purpose. He found the League or Free Captains in his travels and offered his services to train, protect, and provide for the airship in hopes to find the righteous path.
