So happy that all of the roles are now filled! I'll probably put the first post up tonight or tomorrow so we can get started !

Please keep in mind that all of the characters will know each other to a pretty solid degree (outside of Julien and Casper who are just moving in). They don't need to be best friends, or even friends for that matter, but they definitely will be acquainted with each other as they're all running in the same social group.

Additionally, feel free to check out info on their building here. The residences are the top 11 floors of the hotel, so floors 1-22 are hotel rooms, and the top 11 floors are purchased condos (where our characters live). The apartment # in the relationship thread corresponds to the floor they own. If you're stuck on ideas for why you're characters may have interacted, maybe they're at the hotel bar far too often .

On top of that, I'm making up that there's a private rooftop accessible to only the people who own residences (not hotel guests) so if nothing else, relationships certainly could have been formed in that shared space

So, the scene will start at Catalina and Reagan's apartment (your characters will probably just be arriving, maybe running fashionably late and getting ready or pregaming in their own apartments lol). It'll be more of a dinner party vibe (so just our characters really, not some big party with outside guests), with the purpose of introducing Julien and Casper into their little group.

They can obviously go out partying or do whatever afterwards, we can just see how things play out, but feel free to post whenever !

Also ^^ I assumed that a big part of the story is supposed to be that they're all part of the same friend group (whether they necessarily like each other or not), like they run in the same circle/crowd so I'd assume it would be instinctive that they'd all be invited.

Yup, the factor that’s tying the story together is that everyone is in the same social circle. Doesn’t necessarily have to be their primary social circle, but they all have enough mutual friends that if an event is happening, they’ll get an invite somehow.

Reagan and Catalina’s players have the backstory for the party prepared, I believe, but the purpose is really just a welcome to the scene for the two new faces.

Okay, okay! An announcement for the reasoning behind this dinner party!

Reagan wants to fix the relationship between Adeline and Julien, as it is quite estranged and taking care of people is kind of in her nature. Catalina, ever the crazy one, knows this, but she's also got a deep-seated dislike for Miss Adeline. What better way to enjoy herself than to throw a big ol' "Welcoming Party" for the two newest faces on the block, Julien and Casper. With this, Catalina gets to throw a party and annoy someone she's not fond of, all the while making everyone else uncomfortable and/or excited. How much fun!

This sets the scene for our beginning setting. Hope y'all enjoy!

I think everyone is in the same social circle, even if they are not in the same occupational circles from their bios.

copacetic YES! Julien's definitely going to hate him! XD he knows what it's like to be a commoner and he sympathizes.. but more than anything he always longed to be that powerful person who had money and he's had to work for it. He knows how hard it is to claw your way up but he's made a name for himself by gutting companies and telling people what to do and firing them. It's hard but he believes in trial by fire, and if you're not suited for something then you should leave. XD So yeah although he cares, he doesn't care enough, and he figures if they're worth it they can prove it. I also love how he's an asshole

They're not HIS guests of honor since they have no influence or power. But yes.. he's pretty single-minded in associating with people who have connections one way or another. But God I want to rip him apart and not in the clothes-off kind of way
