Warbreaker/Mistborn/Way of Kings- since each series is a planet, it's sometimes annoying to decipher references to other books- I think Warbreaker would be best, with the least context needed- a decent Hoid Appearance, and Zahel

Charlie is small because of feywild mutation- he got the bunny ears, eyes, along with an extended youth. Also I liked the idea of instead of wise and ancient wizard there is a chaotic short wizard
