Lizard Queen
Saga, written by Brian K. Vaughn is incredible and everyone should go pick a copy of it up now. The sweeping epic of a family composed of warring species, it manages to be funny and heart wrenching in a single page.

Anyone else a reader? What's your pull-list looking like?

I read Bleedman Comics. Grim Tales, Sugar Bits, and Power-Puff Girls D. The Story behind each character, the art of the comic itself, and Bleedman's jokes.

The art in Grim Tales is perfect cheesecake.

Spawn from the 90's is really good. Have you been reading Vadar Down/The Shattered Empire?

Saga is easily my most read comic.
Red Hood (both with the outlaws and arsenal) would be second.
Ah, it's so good! The writer's a genius. I don't think I've ever loved a comic more. I'm not a big DC gal, but I've just started to break in by reading mostly pre-New 52 stuff. The Dark Knight Returns gripped me (almost) as much as Saga did.

The illustrator, Fiona Staples, lives in the same city as me.

I have a couple, one is Noblesse by Son Jae Ho which I think is still on going but I haven't read it in a while and the other is Seven Soldiers of Victory by Grant Morrison. I read the New 52 Klarion comic but unfortunately, it fell kinda flat with me.

I haven't heard of that one, actually.

Is the Seven Soldiers of Victory the one with Zatanna? Klarion got cut after six issues, I think, which is a bummer. I'm sure he'll come back, now that Convergence broke the universe rules again.

Noblesse isn't really well heard of.

Yeah, it is. It's pretty good and I'm rereading it. I'm sure he will too, in just said that the Klarion books were such a disappointment with a lot of people.

I work at my local comic book store, I usually know these things! I'm gonna check it out now, I'm curious.

Do you have any other DC titles to recommend?

Nah, I'm catching up on the new Canon Novels right now, plus I've got the Dark Tower comic series to begin.

Not really, my sister really likes Suicide Squad but I haven't gotten to read it yet.

Sorry man, I kinda fell asleep.

Spock, or Spider man (with his mind taken over by Dr. Octopus), is one of the most interesting views of both character display and transition. I'll try to mitigate the spoilers, because I such that people should check out the series. Long story short, Peter's mind is taken over by the dying Dr. Octavius. What follows is not the terrifying ramp of a reckless Spider man that many would assume. The reader gets an opportunity to see the motivations and internal struggles of a character that many knew as a simple 'madman'. The final arc of the story is such a fantastic hook that I've re-read it a dozen or so times.

For anyone who is a fan of Spider man, Kaine (The Scarlet Spider), Ben Reilly, or even Spider-Gwen; I strongly suggest you check out the series.

There's a few I really like.

Garth Ennis: Jennifer Blood, The Boys, The Authority: Kev, More Kev, The Magnificent Kevin

Deadpool: Deadpool Max, Deadpool Max II, Deadpool Corps (and Prelude)

Batman: Lovers and Madmen, The Killing Joke

Mark Millar: The Chrononauts (Recently bought this gem for £3.99 and absolutely loved it.), Old Man Logan

Steven Niles: 30 Days of Night

Deadstar Publishing: Dexter's Half Dozen (Supernatural theme set during WWII.)

Special mention for
Stiffs!

Only recently have I started to read comics, so I can't name any titles in particular. Definitely a DC person for sure, preferably Batman and his group.

I'm a fan of Nova (Sam's version) and Red Robin. Not a fan of the New 52 because they destroyed my dear sweet Timmy in it. Also a fan of the Young Avengers. I really do have a soft spot for the depressing black haired characters..

I would say that my favorite comic/s would be the Johnny the Homicidal Maniac by Jhonen Vasquez. It's pretty much the first and only comic that I have ever read, but man was it entertaining.

Hopefully I won't even up with a giant list but right now these titles are my current favourite ones:

-Bitch Planet (This comic is just brutal, and dark and just rings so true)

-Avatar - The Last Airbender Comics (I'm a giant ATLA nerd and these comics have kept the story rolling beautifully)

-Saga (A lot of people have already mentioned this one so I'll just say: beautiful, funny, heartbreaking and deffinetly worth reading)

-Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan is a beautiful cinnamon roll and she deserves all the awards)

-Rat Queens (A badass crew of awesome ladies in a fantasy setting? Sign me the fuck up...also the humour in this comic just speaks to my soul)

-The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl (It sounds silly but it's not...it's perfect. Trust me, read it and then thank me later)

-The Mighty Thor (Yeah sure I appreciate the old Thor...but the new Thor? The new badass and fearless lady Thor? I'M ALL ABOUT THE NEW THOR)

-The Wicked + The Divine (Did you ever thought you needed a dark, trippy (beautifully drawn) comic about the lives of goddess and gods living in the bodies of teenagers? Neither did until I read this comic and never looked back)

-Silk (Who cares about Spiderman when Cindy Moon exists?)

-Limbo (Not gonna lie, so far this comic has only 2 issues and I'm not exactly loving the protagonist...but the lore, art and concept of this comics makes it all worth it)

-I Hate Fairyland (...yeah I have a thing for fantasy settings inhabited by badass girls)

I tend to read more online comics than anything else, my favorite being Goblins by Tarol Hunt. It's about a tribe of goblins (who'd have guessed?) that turn into adventurers, but the story is pretty entertaining and interesting. It's been running for a long time though, so the art style has changed significantly from the beginning.

Goblins

Those European donald ducks comics ,especially the Italian ones. I've been reading them before I can even read (my parent said I used to just make up stuff while looking at the images).

Out of all Duck comics, my favorite are the Life and Time of Scrooge McDuck series by Don Rosa.
