MECHANIX
Metagame
You are a lowly VARLOT if you peek on the other threads to gain an advantage. If you are someone that wants to join, but looked at them to get a feel for the RP, that is fine.
Combat
Nothing is that simple, is it? Make sure that you survey your surroundings, consult with your officers, and consider every possibility. Your armour should be able to offer a good deal of protection, since it's some of the best money can buy - but still, be wary. Good luck, my lord.
Food
If not in a siege or famine, your castle is automatically fed by its surrounding lands.
Someone eats around 3 loaves/pounds of food per day.
Nobles prefer more expensive food and drink such as wine, spices, meat, and white bread.
1 pound of salt will cure 25 pounds of meat or fish.
24 bushels of grain will feed someone for a year.
The larger a war party is, the more logistical issues you will be presented with.
Calendar
Each 'turn' is roughly a six-day week. Depending on how much is going on IC, you can play out one or multiple days before proceeding to the next turn - which happens once everybody has readied up.
Fifteen turns make up a season (90 days). and four seasons make year.
Noble Commands
[RETIRE]
When you want to end a character-level scene and go back to 'command mode'. This can't happen if your character is being attacked or something along those lines.
[→]
When you want to move the RP forward/timeskip ahead a little bit. Does not end turn, and can be anywhere from an hour to a few days.
[END TURN]
When you want to end your turn and go forward about six days.
[SEARCH]
When you want to check for something's existence. Mainly an IC action.
