Guidelines for Making a Character

The Basic Details
This should be the easy part. Build the character you’d like to play. What do they look like? What do they act like? Where do they come from? What’s their history? These are the basic questions many roleplayers are used to addressing in their character sheets and I’m looking for the basics to be covered. All the required basic information will be included in the character skeleton and you’re welcome to add more information at your leisure. You don’t need to give me a novel. If you give me a novel, it will take me longer to evaluate and accept the character. A certain level of detail is expected, though. Tell me the basics.

Power Levels
Things get trickier here. Obviously we cannot accept characters that will instantly defeat all the enemies we might ever create in a single shot. And naturally, there are some magical abilities that are and always will be more powerful than others. This is just how magic works, particularly in Fairy Tail and in fantasy things in general. The roleplay does not look for everyone to be at an equal level and the roleplay will not inhibit magic abilities that are already overpowered - such as dragon slayer magic, gravity magic, crash magic, etc. However, if you create a powerful character, you will be expected to play them in a manner that does not take the fun out of the story. There are certain antagonists you will encounter that you will not be allowed to beat on the first encounter no matter how much sense it makes for your character to emerge victorious. If you play your character as though they are an unbeatable god, then your character will end up dead because that’s not ok. This roleplay is a story, not a competition.

That being said, those that make characters with more room to grow rather than with less room to grow will be rewarded more as the story progresses. If your character starts out weaker and therefore has room to grow, then GMs are more likely to help create moments that help your character grow. If your character starts out extremely powerful, then it is harder and less likely that the GMs will provide much assistance in encouraging the growth of your character as the story progresses. Please keep this in mind as you’re making your character.

Each character is limited to two magic types.

Limited Positions
Because this is Fairy Tail, there are certain things that are limited and thus only available to a select number of people within the roleplay. These include dragon slayer spots and celestial keys.

There can only be one dragon slayer spot per element and the only acceptable elements have already been decided upon. This has been done to prevent too much overlap between the various dragon slayers and to make sure the elemental designations all make sense with one another. If you are making a dragon slayer, then slayer magic is the only magic they may possess because slayer magic already has a lot of potential to be extremely powerful.

Celestial keys are given a bit more liberty. Players are welcome to create their own keys/spirits. However, the most powerful spirits will still remain the zodiac spirits and these characters are some of the only canon characters allowed in the roleplay. Only one mage can hold a single zodiac key at a time and there are no copies of these keys. Unlike slayer magic, it is possible that zodiac keys can change hands throughout the course of the roleplay and if you have questions about the procedures behind this, feel free to message a GM or ask in the OOC.

On Backstory Details
This roleplay is hopefully going to be quite a sizable one and therefore, there’s going to be a lot of history among all of the characters. The goal is for things to be as consistent between each piece of history as possible. Therefore, if you would like to include another player character in your backstory or if you would like to involve a guildmaster in your backstory, please message the appropriate person before doing so. Also, please keep in mind that you may be asked to tweak minor details in your backstory for the sake of keeping things consistent between all the characters. Your cooperation with this is much appreciated.

Supplies: (Anything your character readily carries on their person most/all of the time?)

Notes:
  • If you post a WIP character skeleton, then it is your responsibility to tag Comet Lady in the OOC when it is completed. She will not keep checking the character skeleton to determine whether or not it is complete.

  • Any WIP character skeleton not completed within two weeks of being posted will be deleted.

  • Please delete all details in parenthesis from the skeleton before you post it. Those are details meant to describe how to fill the form out and are not meant to be part of the final character sheet.

  • You will receive a PM when your character evaluation has been completed letting you know if anything needs to be fixed and whether or not your character is accepted.

  • Please do not pester anyone about getting your character accepted. It will happen when it happens.

  • You are welcome to use code to make your character skeleton prettier. However, please note that if it is not mobile friendly, then it will take longer to be accepted because it cannot be viewed from mobile and therefore will have to wait until Comet Lady can view it on a computer.

Name:
Tsubaki Ra
Gender:
Female
Age:
18
Height:
Five feet, seven inches
Physical Description:
Tsubaki is fairly average in build. A neat hourglass figure that's toned, but not overly, and weighs around 147lbs. Her features are sharp and feminine, and nearly always set in a neutral expression. She has long dusty gray hair, which is normal down, or pulled into some form of updo for battle and training. Her eyes are a somber orange color, which she actually believes to be her best feature. She even styles her clothes to compliment them, favoring darker, edgier looks.
Personal Strengths:
- Tsubaki is a very loyal person, something she likes to joke about being from her dragon side and is willing to do just about anything for the people she's loyal to. And yes, that includes fighting until she can't physically stand

- She's a very open-minded person, and pretty much a doting of all walks of life, identities, and personal choices. There are a few though that are fight on sight for Tsubaki, whether it's verbally or physically

- Tsubaki is very hardworking despite her normally laid back presence, which makes her a great partner for jobs or to just ask for random tasks

- She may not be the best when it comes to actually comforting someone, but she is a good listener and will let you vent or talk for however long you need/want to. And she's not the type of person to spread your business around

- Tsubaki likes to bake and cook, and will often make large batches of something and bring to the guild to share. Her favorite thing go share is a spicy fried noodle dish

Personal Flaws:
- Tsubaki is dangerous secretive. She is able to keep her mouth shut no matter the situation. Which can be seen as a desirable trait, but not when she'd rather keep secrets than save a life

- Tsubaki often unintentionally hurts others and isn't too prone to handing out apologies. She's not to bothered by accidentally hurting someone's feelings either, though she never goes out of her way to do so. She just basically, has no filter

- She's apathetic and struggles a little getting in touch with her own emotions, which can make her hard to talk to sometimes. (This doesn't mean she's not caring though)

- She has a smoking vice, her favorite are small cigars, but she will try to smoke away from children and people who don't like the scent. She's at least trying to be considerate.

Personality:
At first, Tsubaki is seen as not extremely approachable. Her natural expression, darker clothing, and of course, a somewhat intimidating aura keep people away. At least for a bit. Tsubaki is a little more outgoing than you'd probably expect, it's easy for her to hold a conversation with people even though she's not a huge fan of small talk. It'll become clear that it's easy to talk to her, even if you don't necessarily get a response. When you do, she's mostly polite though if you've annoyed her by complaining about something stupid or repeating something she's heard 20 times that day, she's more likely to snap at you. Or just say something that's hurtful but she didn't exactly mean to.

Those who are privileged enough to carry on full and rather deep conversations with her, find she has a lot to say. These conversations are the best, and she loves talking about her interests and the fascinating things she knows. And she loves talking about what happened on jobs and other missions. She'll share recipes she likes, and maybe even give helpful advice. Only people close to her get to have these types of conversations with her...though if you catch her at the right time, anyone can pick her brain.

And then there's Tsubaki when she's angry. And I mean really angry. At first, she's reserved, quiet, observing you're reactions and what you say. Her words are harsh, and she makes it a point to be blunt. If she is pushed past that point before she calms down, Tsubaki is prone to yelling and occasionally, starting a fistfight. It can often lead to Tsubaki doing something she'll regret, but at the moment she is always past caring.

Magic 2:

Backstory:
Dragons aren't as bad as some people make them out to be. At least, in Tsubaki's opinion. Her earliest memory is a giant maw, a deep rumbling voice, and shiny scales telling her stories. She honestly doesn't know how she ended up there with him, she doesn't remember her real parents or where she came from but Tsubaki didn't mind. According to him, Tsubaki was found by someone else who knew of his existence and brought her to the dragon's lair. She was two, which was normally far too young for him to take in, but...she apparently threw a rock at him. Which Metalicana thought was hilarious. The dragon made sure she never wanted for anything. She was well-fed, rarely went cold, and despite his rather gruff nature, he was actually an amazing teacher and father.

He taught her how to read and write, basic math, how to hone her new senses and survival skills. And of course, as soon as she was old enough to handle magic and understand the basic concepts, he taught her dragon slayer magic. When they trained, he was more teacher than father. Tusbaki's training was harsh but nothing she couldn't handle at such a young age. And as she grew taller and stronger, training would increase. She was a talented mage, able to grasp the concepts and perform new spells easily, but Metalicana made sure that she didn't bite off more than she could chew at any given time.

It was a good life. Her and Metalicana were inseparable, the dragon was the only parent she had ever known, it was only natural. But one day, everything changed. She came back after gathering some firewood, and he was gone. Which wasn't the weirdest thing to ever happen, Metalicana would occasionally go off for small trips. Stretching his wings as he called it. So at first Tsubaki didn't realize anything was wrong. She waited for a week, going on about her daily life when it finally started to dawn on her. Metalicana wasn't coming back. It was something he had told her about the previous year, that if he didn't come back, she needed to leave. Find her own way.

Tsubaki took that to heart.

She was only 8 but determined. She was sad of course, but it wasn't like she hadn't been prepared for this. Tsubaki swore that one day they'd see each other again and that she would always carry his teachings in her heart. So off she went, trudging through the forest and down a mountain to a small town Tsubaki never learned the name of. What she did learn, however, was that she was in Fiore. As much as Metalicana taught her, there were a few things that he left out. But she was aware that there were other mages. Tsubaki was determined to find them and spent about a week in that town before she finally found some. Crow tattoos on their hands, she followed them along for a bit until they noticed her. There was then a small fight since they thought she was from a rival guild but once everything had calmed down, Tsubaki explained what was going on.

The mages decided to take her with them. They explained they were from a guild called Crow's Watch. It was a dark guild that operated under the Oreasion Seis. They only took on very specific contracts, most of which often helped the people they involved. But due to the dark nature of their operations, they were named a dark guild despite the fact that, surprisingly, they all seemed to be fairly decent people. Their guild hall was outside of down, down near a river, and housed in some old manor. It wasn't a very large guild, they only had about 20 members at the time, and when Tsubaki was brought in, more than half of them were off on other missions or tasks. Tsubaki was taken to their leaders, a couple named Kaiser and Zero.

They were husbands, and after a brief conversation with Tsubaki, they decided to adopt her. Like them, she would live there at the guildhall but, she was never made an official member. It was either to protect her or maybe she just wasn't old enough. Either way, she found a new family. They all loved Tsubaki, and each member would teach her something new. Her love of cooking, deepening her understanding of the world through history. They expanded on what Metalicana had taught her, giving Tsubaki the necessary training to perhaps eventually become a guild mage. Her new fathers' were proud, and just as loving as Metalicana had been. Once again, she never wanted for anything. She was never mistreated, though they didn't find the operations they had to carry out from her. Once again, they seemed to be preparing her for something.

That something happened when she was 13. She was training with Zero, sparring with non-magical options when they heard a horn. Zero and Kaiser went to investigate and found the Magic Council's soldiers. Crow's Watch was to be immediately disbanded, and most of the members were to be arrested for various contracts that went against the Council's laws. Kaiser and Zero, however, despite being the guild leaders were offered a deal. They were forbidden from using magic and had to move into a Council governed area in order to be watched. And they agreed. Tsubaki and her parents were moved to Magnolia soon after. For two years, she was only allowed to practice minor spells in the garden of their small home, but it wasn't exactly a bad time. It wasn't nearly as fun, but Tsubaki couldn't complain.

After two years of this, when she turned 15, Tsubaki announced she wanted to join a guild. The only one on the area though was Fairy Tail. And while her parents didn't like how the official guilds were run, they wanted her to follow her dreams. So, with their full support, Tsubaki marched into the Fairy Tail guild hall, and demanded to join. She didn't think it would be that easy, but she was certainly fucking surprised when she was given a guild mark and welcomed aboard with open arms. For the past 3 years, she's been a dedicated member of the guild, and is ready for any challenge that's thrown at her.
Supplies:
~ A pack of thin cigars, she smokes a fairly cheap brand after all, and always has some on her

~ Her famous orange sunglasses and a matching set of silver, rather small, hoop earrings

~ Escrima Sticks; She realized that she'd need something to use when magic wasn't an option. And while Tsubaki rarely needs to use them, she likes being prepared.

Name: Lowell Thrice

Nickname/Title: Volts

Appearance: Lowell has longer blonde hair that spikes outwards quite often and his piercing green eyes almost always carry the illusion of anger. He is usually seen wearing plain collared t-shirts and shorts with sneakers. His socks are always short enough to show off his Sabertooth tattoo.

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Height: 5’5”

Hair Color: Blonde

Eye Color: Green

Race: Human

Character Strengths:

Lowell is a fairly sociable and fun loving person so long as the things he is doing either don’t or minimally involve magic. He loves partying with his guildmates, he loves meeting new people, and he is also fairly athletic which contributes to his love of playing games.

Lowell makes friends fairly easy and he becomes very protective of them quickly once he gets to know them. Threats to his friends are one of the few things that can actually successfully draw out Lowell’s willingness to use his magic regardless of how much he hates its existence.

Around people outside of his guild, Lowell actually comes off as a very kind and gentle soul because in a way, that is who he originally should’ve turned out to be. However, life threw curve balls that kinda messed that actuality up. He is willing to help just about anyone if they just ask.

Character Flaws:

Lowell has a major temper and he is very easily angered especially when the conversation involves magic or his dragon, both of which he hates to the extreme degree. When he gets angry, Lowell becomes very loud and is also prone to running off quite often, failing to return for long periods of time.

Lowell has a hatred for magic which in and of itself can be a flaw. He often refuses to use his magic to fight back in situations where it wouldn’t be possible to win without magic which can be a major problem both for Lowell himself and for the people around him.

Lowell’s youth and inexperience can also be described as a flaw for the young lad. He can often be very naive and overly trusting.

The Lightning dragon slayer has also developed a bit of a drinking problem. In joining a guild, he was seeking a never ending party and even though his guild is not for that, he continues with this self-destructive behavior.

Personality:

Lowell is a very energetic young man. He enjoys expending that energy by playing games and training himself physically. His energy reaches such extremes at times that it becomes acceptable, and even perfectly normal, for him to be labelled annoying. He is also very social and enjoys striking up conversations with practically anyone he meets although he is always very careful to steer the conversation away from discussions about his own magic because then he knows his anger would end the conversation early.

Lowell has a sharp and quick temper that can be set off by very small things, and it is very difficult to calm him down once the fuse has been lit. When he is angry, Lowell becomes violent and very loud as well. Sometimes it even gets to a point where he has difficulty containing his magic in which case his anger gets even worse. Regardless of the severity, Lowell will storm out of wherever he happens to be in his anger and will likely destroy several things along the way.

Lowell can also be very impulsive and stupid when it comes to things that appear to require a quick decision. He is not the smartest in the bunch; in fact, he’s more of a jock than anything else. Despite this, he will follow the wisdom of his guildmates and anyone he respects if that wisdom is offered to him.

Biography:

Lowell was born into an extremely large family and out of everyone, he was the youngest. His mother and father were high standing citizens in Crocus, each of them being well known mages in their own right although neither had ever joined a guild or been a part of the magical body that occupies Fiore. Each of his nine older siblings had also taken up magic in turn, as was expected of them by their parents who believed that magic was a symbol of power within the world.

When Lowell was five years old, his parents rounded up all of the best magical teachers available, bringing them all into the family estate so that they could meet the youngest Thrice child and so that Lowell could finally choose a magic. However, things did not go quite as planned. Lowell was so overwhelmed by so many people trying to influence his choice - all of his siblings were trying to get him to learn their magic, and his parents were also offering multiple suggestions which would’ve pleased them greatly - that he ran away before ever meeting any of the prospective teachers, his short legs carrying him quickly out of Crocus and to the edge of the mountains nearby where he stumbled upon the most interesting creature. It was a dragon.

No. It wasn’t just a dragon; it was the lightning dragon Visarius, and when it first spoke to him, Lowell was so shocked he could barely reply although somehow he did manage to eventually. He said that his parents expected him to become a great mage and have a great teacher and he just didn’t feel like he could do it because it was too overwhelming and everyone seemed to expect something different from him. Visarius sympathized with Lowell and offered to teach him his own special magic because it was better than anything any other teacher could offer and Lowell couldn’t believe his luck. He accepted the offer and became the Lightning Dragon’s student.

His parents weren’t about to let their youngest child just run away. Two of his siblings followed him although they never approached once they saw the huge lightning dragon. Rather, they remained at a distance and observed their brother’s unique encounter with jealous eyes before returning to report the situation to their parents. Lowell’s family left him alone, his parents very pleased with the teacher their son had found although the boy was unaware of the expectations they now held for him.

Lowell spent two years with Visarius. In that time, the dragon taught him magic, but also knowledge. The dragon played with him without any expectations and Lowell was very much enjoying life being the center of attention, something he had never experienced back at home due to the massive size of his family. Lowell fell in love with Visarius and he loved learning everything Visarius had to teach him. That only served to make it that much worse when the dragon abandoned him. Lowell woke up one morning to see the dragon flying away. He waited in the mountains for two days before he finally began sulking and walking back to his family home.

Both his parents and all of his siblings were very surprised when he came home. They didn’t expect to see him so soon, expecting that a dragon would have so much to teach him that it would consume most of his young life. Nonetheless, Lowell was welcomed home with a feast of massive proportions to match the family of massive proportions and he thought it was going to be ok being home again. Then it was quickly ruined.

Everyone, his parents and his siblings, quickly demanded to see the power of a lightning dragon slayer as their expressions grew more and more anxious for him to unveil his new magic to them all. While Lowell did give them a small display of what he had learned, conjuring and manipulating lightning quite beautifully in the process, his family was far from impressed and began to yell at him. “How could you leave before your training was done?!” they yelled at him. “Was that all the idiot dragon had to offer?!” they scoffed. Slowly, the boy began to realize that coming home had been a mistake although oddly enough, his anger didn’t turn to his family immediately; rather, his anger turned to the dragon Visarius whom he blamed because the dragon had abandoned him. Having nowhere else to go, Lowell was forced to remain at home with the family he had disappointed.

Unbeknownst to him, Lowell’s parents had taken measures with their power and significant wealth. They went so far as to purchase a dragon lacrima from a travelling merchant whose price was so high, he didn’t think anyone would be able to afford it. When Lowell learned of his parents’ actions, he refused them; he didn’t see why magic should be so important that it required him to enhance what he had learned even further. That was what turned Lowell’s anger on his parents. To them though, without further magic power, Lowell would never be what they expected him to be. They took more extreme measures, implanting the lacrima in their son while he slept.

Upon waking from his slumber, Lowell quickly felt a new power coursing through him and it was easy to conclude what his parents had done. Lowell’s rage was such that electricity surged through the entire family home, blowing the circuits before it took to the house itself destroying the entire estate in the process. His parents were not angry though; they were in awe of the power they had given to their son. Seeing that his parents completely failed to care about his rage, Lowell once again fled his home and this time, he had a destination.

Visarius had told him about the many magical guilds that dotted Fiore and Lowell knew that his family would not follow him to a guild. Such an act would insight a challenge that they would not risk for it would wager the family’s status as one of great power and wealth, two things his parents valued above all other things. Soon Lowell found himself at the home of Sabertooth where he quickly became a member.

Lowell never unveiled to them his family origins or his true status as the lightning dragon slayer. They know he’s a lightning mage; he can’t really hide that. Lowell has since been a member for three years although his missions have been small due to his desire to remain hidden from his family along with his newfound hatred for magic due to the fact that his parents pushed it on him so hardly.

Guild: Sabertooth

Character Rank: B Rank

Guild Mark: Outside of his left ankle

Guild Tenure: 3 years

Magic Ability: Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic (3rd Generation)

Equipment:

Katana - Upon joining a guild and realizing he was going to have to go on missions to help people and whatnot, Lowell realized he needed some way to fight that didn’t require magic because he does not like using his magic. Therefore, Lowell has spent the past three years training to use a katana and he has become fairly skilled although he is by no means a master of the blade yet.

Lowell also carries a yellow dragon scale on his person.

Name: Elizabeth “Libby” Tuck

Nickname/Title: Wizard ‘O The Wisp

Appearance:
my-current-wallpaper-sailor_element-38139432-640-960.jpg

Age: 12

Gender: Female

Height: 4 feet 6 inches

Hair Color: Brown

Eye Color: Brown

Race: Human

Character Strengths: Friendly, gentle-hearted, outgoing, eager to learn, very accepting of all kinds of people

Character Flaws: Extremely innocent knowledge base, lack of control over her magic, slightly stubborn, she dazes out a lot, fear of spiders, lack of discipline, lack of any sense of stranger danger, can be overly dramatic at times

Personality:
Libby is extremely sociable and will strike up a conversation with anyone although if it is an adult, she probably doesn’t understand much of what they say. Her vocabulary is fairly small and simple. Libby wants to be powerful like all of the wizards she sees around her so when she makes mistakes she gets very depressed and her confidence drops. Pep talks work well with Libby though. Anyone who tries to cheer her up succeeds more often than not. Libby is also constantly moving whether it be tapping her feet or fidgeting in her seat because when she stands still for too long she finds herself slipping into the floor and that really embarrasses her.

Libby will literally approach anyone - she doesn’t realize that there are dangerous people in the world who may not find this to be the most amusing thing in the world and this often gets her into trouble. Libby is very much comforted by physical contact so she loves holding hands and giving and/or receiving hugs from just about anyone - she’s not picky. When these two aspects of her personality combine, you get a child who will hug a random stranger which could almost never be described as safe.

Despite her naivety, Libby does understand that she is part of something bigger. She’s a Lamia Scale wizard and no one is going to tell her otherwise. She even has the tattoo to prove it. Libby loves her guild and everyone in it meaning that regardless of whether they like her in return or not, they are stuck with her and her endless energy, joy and hugs - mostly hugs, though.

Libby is usually a very happy individual although there are some things that can put her into a state that even her own guildmates will struggle to help her recover from. She puts a lot of trust in other people - even in the random strangers she may happen to approach - and thus she is completely heartbroken when that trust is broken to one degree or another. Libby hates to be left alone and that hatred can turn to a clinginess when her trust in someone has been broken to a great degree.

Biography:
Libby was born to parents who were both mages themselves – both members of Lamia Scale, albeit for a rather short portion of their lives due to the guild being fairly new. Both of her parents were older when she was born. They actually didn’t think at that point it would’ve been possible to have a child, but they were both very happy on the day she was born. Because of their old age, Libby was an only child although Libby never quite realized this because she was raised in the Lamia Scale guild hall – everyone there was her brother or sister as far as she was concerned.

Libby’s parents were often gone on missions leaving Libby in the guild hall, but the child didn’t mind. She had plenty of friends and plenty of trouble to cause. Eventually, Libby discovered her own magic and began to cause even more trouble, although this time unintentionally. She would get stuck in walls or slide through the floor falling to the next level. It really was amusing for anyone who watched her grow up.

Eventually, Libby’s parents retired from the guild. They found a house across the lake and settled down to simply be husband and wife. They brought Libby with them of course, but they quickly noticed that their daughter was bored of them very easily. Eventually, they decided to send her back to the guild hall as a wizard herself. They figured she would fare better where she had friends and the members of the guild had always been more of a family to her than they had. Libby still goes home every once in a while to visit her parents, but she enjoys the freedom of the life she lives.

Guild: Lamia Scale

Mage Rank: D-Rank

Guild Mark: Lower right corner of her back

Guild Tenure: 12 years - her whole life

Magic Ability: Intangibility: Libby can walk through solid objects or allow solid objects to pass through her. She needs to be able to see or hear something coming in order to allow it to pass through her – if it is not visible or making a sound, it will hit her firmly. Also, the object has to be something you can touch. She couldn’t let lightning pass through her – for example.

He's usually got a tired expression on his face. He has a slim but muscular physique and usually dresses in leather pants, black boots and a tank top. He wears an adjustable metallic mask on the lower half of his face designed like the mouth of a grinning dragon. On his belt he cares a two pouches filed with poison and a short sword.

Personal Strengths:

Despite his appearance Gox is a very courteous and helpful young man

He's patient and understanding with most people he deals with

Not too confrontational would rather talk his way out of a fight than start one

He's a very open minded person which lets him get along with a verity of people

Has a morbid sense of humor

Very loyal to his friends ready and willing to fight for or with them.

Personal Flaws:
Very secretive when it comes to his past and personal life

Willing to lie in order to keep his own secrets

Not super talkative or much of a party person would much rather be among a small group friends than a large party with strangers

Tends to repress negative feelings or anger he only lets them out in stressful situations

Will usually try to kill enemies he see's a too much of a threat to live

Personality: Gox is a quite man that often keeps to himself. He's not the guy looking for attention and usually tries to stay out of the limelight. Life in the Nagina clan was very insular, he only had contact with his extended family and the dark guilds they worked with. He's awkward when it comes to social situations, but tries to be attentive and helpful to the people he needs. He mostly speaks when he has something to say and isn't that much into small talk. Bringing up topics related to poisons (animals/plants/fungi), parasites, and other morbid topics is a good way to get him talking. When it comes to romance he's just as ignorant he know's what the birds and bees are but doesn't know a thing when it comes to dating. His attempts a getting a girlfriend so far haven't led to any successes. He tends to like dark haired women with tattoos that wear black.

Due to the danger involved in using his magic Gox likes to keep coolhead in combat. He'd rather end a fight quickly with a few well placed jabs than drag things out. He's not what you would call an honorable fighter and with use every cheap trick to defeat an opponent. Gox's first response when it comes to situations or people that make him mad is to leave or not deal with it at all. He's good at shrugging off insults and it's actually hard to goad him into a fight. In the event that he gets mad and I mean MAD he's liable to kill someone. He uses his worst poisons and does everything he can to kill the source of his frustration. This part of him usually doesn't come out unless someone's threatening to kill the people he likes or some other extreme situation.

Magic 1: Poison Dragon Slayer

Magic 2:None

Abilities:

Stealthy: Being raised among the Nagina Clan Gox was trained in stealth and espionage as soon has he could walk. He can still his breath to the point its almost in audible and despite wearing boots his footfall are as quiet as a cats. He can blend in with crowds becoming almost untraceable among the masses in cities. He can also camouflage himself using his natural surroundings in the wild.
Expert level Swordsman: Gox is adept at using a variety of swords but favors his short sword.
Expert Poison Brewer: Gox has an intimate knowlegde on the various poison plants and animals that live throughout earthland. He's knows most of the effects of their poison and can craft deadly potions, powders and pills from them.
Physical Prowess: His years of training has gifted him a strong, robust, and flexible body.
Intermediate Hand to hand combat skills: Gox could hold his own against basic level and untrained unarmed fighters.

Backstory: Gox was born into a clan of Assassins that mainly used poison as a method of killing their targets. They were often paid to assist Dark guilds in taking down rival guilds (Dark and Light) by crippling their opponents with a verity of poisons and toxins. Gox was something of a genius among his clan and showed the potential to be a master poison brewer. He was also a capable swordsman a was proving to be an adept at the agile hit and run style used by his clan. But for all his potential he had yet to have actually been in real combat.

When he turned 13 the time came for him to become a fully fledged member of his clan. He was sent to assist in the destruction of a normal guild with a dark one. He knew his poisons inside out along with their effect on the human body. But seeing the effects in real time was another story. He caught a couple of low level mages off guard and poisoned them. In real time he saw them die. Their skin turned red and the inside of there throats swelled up like balloons. He saw them claw at their own throats out before seeing them die.

Horrified by what he did he fled the battle allowing the Dark Guild to be beaten back. Since then he's been wandering about Fiore keeping his head down and looking for away to do some good. During his travels he came across an extremely rare treasure in Fiore's black magic market. Poison Dragon Lacrima. Said to have been gathered from the body of the Great Poison Dragon Hanza herself. Daring to steal it almost got him killed but the risk was worth it. He could now take the first steps towards saving his own soul and maybe redeeming his clan. Recently he's found an odd looking egg. It's coloration and design don't match any egg laid by any species native to Fiore or Earthland in general. Also it's quite large and looks like it'll hatch soon.

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Height: 5’9”

Personal Strenghts:
  • Light’s life at this point is dedicated to helping other people. He doesn’t judge people and he is willing to help anyone with their problems.
  • Light is a very friendly person, He is easy to approach because of his pleasant expression that makes him an all-around likeable guy.
  • Light is also a very honest person. He’s not going to try to beat around the bush with anything, but at the same time, he will do what he can to soften the blow of something hard or difficult because he remembers how hard of a blow it was for him to find out about his father’s hidden evils.
  • Although Light does have a lot of power, it is not within his mindset to be cocky. He wouldn’t even understand the point of showing off which actually kind of lessens the sense other people might get of his true power.
Personal Flaws:
  • Light feels obligated to live a life of selflessness to make up for all the mistakes his father made - he tires himself out a lot in his pursuit of this goal which he has set so high it is almost unachievable.
  • Light also isn’t the most trusting person. On the outside, no one would guess that, but he will go out of his way to confirm the things other people tell him because he has been lied to in the past and it devastated him to a great degree.
  • Another problem Light can have comes in the way he views himself. It isn’t that he lacks confidence, per say, but he is very hard on himself when he makes a mistake or is unable to do something that seemed well within his capabilities at first.
Personality: Light is a very outwardly social person. He is talkative around other people and he doesn’t anger or sadden easily. Light is always willing to help anyone who asks for his help, granted they are truthful with him - and yes, he will confirm that they are truthful before actually helping them. Light is also kind of a ladies man - that is to say, he likes women and will not be shy about telling one that they are beautiful. He’s not about to go out acting like a stupid flirt though. When Light does get angry, no one can question it. The wind picks up and thunder resounds, quite literally.

Light also acts slightly differently around fellow wizards and mages. He is a very powerful wizard, and he knows it, yet he tries to conceal it at times leading others to believe he’s not quite as strong as he actually is. Light is also not a hothead. He usually isn't the one starting the fight and when the fight begins, he fights more defensively than offensively unless he is in a rush or really mad for whatever reason. Light turns offensive after he thinks he has seen all that his opponent has to throw at him.

All of this being said, Light is a good friend. He cares about people dearly once he gets to know them and he can be a very protective soul although he also places a lot of faith in his friends. Light is very good at believing a person can do so much more than they themselves think they are capable of which can be both a good thing and a bad thing at times. He will never let a friend stay down on themselves for long.

Magic 1: Air Manipulation Magic

Magic 2: Water Manipulation Magic

Bonus Magic Combination: By combining his knowledge of air and water magic as well as his high quality understanding of how the weather works, Light is able to produce and manipulate storms. He can create lightning by causing friction in the air, but once it is created, he has no control over what it does.

Backstory: Light spent the first 8 years of his life growing up with his father. He never knew what happened to his mother; his father never talked about her. Nevertheless, Light had a fairly happy childhood. His father worked 2 jobs, but it managed to make ends meet. Light went to public school where he had a couple close friends - that was really enough for him. When his father wasn’t working, he was always willing to spend time with Light. Then, when Light was 7, his father announced that Light was going to be beginning lessons in magic. There was an elderly couple in town who had been watching Light for a while and personally requested him as their student. Light really didn’t know what he was getting into at the time, but his father supported him as his lessons began. One of his teachers taught him water magic and the other taught him wind magic.

Then, at the age of eight he woke up to the sound of gunshots in his house and when he ran to investigate, he saw that his father had been shot after trying to run from police. He would live, but he was being arrested for 9 charges of rape and 1 charge of attempted murder. This news completely devastated Light who had loved his father as much as any young boy ever could and trusted him to the ends of the earth. It was arranged for Light to move in with the elderly wizards who had been teaching him magic and in an attempt to distract himself from the horrors of his father’s trial and execution, Light dove head first into learning magic.

He grew to care deeply for his two teachers as they trained him although Light had lost the ability to truly trust somebody. As Light’s skills improved, he also noticed that both of his teachers were slowing down in life more and more. During their last year of life, Light spent most of his time training on his own, creating his own style, since they had become so weak that their training no longer helped him. He also took care of them - guiding them through their transition into the next life. Both of them passed away on the same night.

The young storm mage discovered them the next morning and in his sadness, the storm mage proceeded to practically destroy the house they had lived in - a small cottage right on the beach. His high speed winds rendered the house unlivable and after returning to his senses, the boy was very angry with himself, shocked even to find that emotions could turn him into a monster. Light buried the couple together near the water because every night during their last year he had helped them get out to see the sunset, and then he left.

He quickly discovered magical guilds and he figured that that would be the easiest way for him to set about on his quest. His father had finally wandered back into his mind after being absent for so long. Light now assumes that he was the product of one of his father’s rape victims and his father had somehow gotten stuck with him. He feels that it is his responsibility to make up for all of his father’s mistakes and crimes. The best way to find work was through a guild, so Light joined Lamia Scale.

Supplies: Light carries a lightning rod that he also uses in a manner similar to a quarterstaff.

"Fairy Tail is a family. You mess with one of us, you messed with all of us."

    Name: Gurren Simon

    Nickname/Title: Dragneel

    Gender: Male

    Age: 33

    Height: 6 feet.

Physical Description: A muscle toned man with a mullet-like hair style and goatee. Has black hair and brown eyes. Has a scar that goes down the left side of his face. Black guild symbol on his left pectoral. Generally wears a black tank top, a jacket, jeans and boots.

    Personal Strengths:
    • Heroic: On one hand, a baddie can use this to their advantage, but Gurren tries to be a paragon of virtue and puts a lot of value in the lives of his friends/allies/innocents over his own. He's usually one of the first wizards that jump into action.
    • Kind-Hearted: He genuinely cares for his friends, family, and the citizens of Fiore; He tries to be as helpful as he can.
    • Never gives up: When things look the bleakest, Gurren burns brightly; inspiring his friends with speeches about what Fairy Tail is all about.
    • Mentor: He wants to see the younger generations succeed and makes himself available for any wizard that wants to train with him or just needs some advice. His mentorship role is clearly seen in his relationship with his adopted daughter, Skylar.

    Personal Flaws:
    • Impulsive: Gurren follows his instincts, especially when riled up. He's not very good at waiting for backup or the signal if something catches his attention, like the smell of hostages or a crying child. He also tends to butt in to other people's business, particularly when someone is being bullied and he doesn't back down from a fight.
    • Action-oriented: Gurren dislikes sitting around when there is stuff they should be doing. He knows why strategy meetings are important, but he's more of a big picture guy and gets board when meetings focus on the small, intricate details that probably are important, but are still boring.
    • Destructive: It's not purposeful, but his magic is inherently powerful and he tends to over do it. On one hand he does what he needs to do in order to protect his allies and seeing him beat up the bad guy can be inspiring, it just racks up a large amount of debt and apology letters in the process.
    • Very Trusting: Unless he knows you're a baddie that's "cruising for a bruising," he likes to see the good in people and can be tricked until ill-intent is known

    Personality:
Gurren is as loyal as they come. Through thick and thin, he'll stick by you, fight along side you. He's not one to back out of a bind unless the situation calls for it. He's an action-oriented wizard that gets antsy during long meetings and sometimes gets ahead of the plan, but he has a heart of gold and means well. He wants people to succeed in life and is a blazing source of positivity, wanting to see the good in people until it's obvious that there is no good there. Most of the time he's pretty laid-back, but when a fight is in the air, it's time to throw down. He's quick to confront bullies, even if they're attacking their own people, and can drop a "power of friendship" speech at the drop of a hat.

    Guild: Fairy Tail

    Guild Tenure: 15 years

    Rank: A-Rank

Magic: Fire Dragon Slayer (1st generation)

    Backstory:
Gurren was born in Kalba Village, a mining town on the outskirts of Fiore. Like the other kids, Gurren was taught how to help out around town, but he performed poorly compared to the others boys. The one thing he was good at was fighting. He'd protect himself and his small group of friends from the bigger boys; Eventually the bullies got sick of picking on them. He gained a reputation as a hot head and his reputation didn't improve when he was a teen. He was terrible at mining work and accidentally caused cave ins. His father chewed him out and he was thinking about leaving the village. His mother stopped him before he left and they had a chat; Sometime in the middle of their talk, the village was attacked by bandits.

Gurren tried to help the villagers fight back, but the bandits knew magic. Just when things looked bad, a woman showed up. She looked to be around his mother's age and had striking red hair. She fought of the bandits with fire magic. Once the town was saved, she introduced herself as a traveling hermit named Ryoko. As a reward for helping the village, she was given a house at the edge of town.

As she was moving in, Gurren went to Ryoko's new house and asked her to teach him magic. "Do you think you can handle it?" she asked the fifteen-year-old. "Hell ya!" he replied. Noticing the spark in his eyes, she agreed. Gurren lead her to a secluded spot that they could train. After making sure that they were alone, Ryoko revealed herself as Blaise, a fire dragon. She had been using transformation magic to pass herself off as a human. "Woah!" "Shhh! Keep your voice down." Blaise explained that she'd be teaching him Fire Dragon Slayer magic, but wanted to keep her true identity a secret. "Now would be the time to back down. If you still want to train, call me Sensei." "Aye Sensei"

Gurren trained for three years. During that time, Blaise became like a second mother. He stayed at her house, she feed him, and after training she'd let him rest in the shade under her wings. One time she accidentally called him Dragneel. Gurren asked who Dragneel was and it turned out to be the name of her dead son. It sounded like a cool wizard name and he was allowed to claim it after promising that he'd bring honor to the name.

As Gurren's training neared completion, Blaise encouraged him to look into joining a guild. The Fairy Tail guild looked the most appealing to him. When his training was over, Blaise had disappeared without a trace. He returned home feeling sad, but was still determined to join Fairy Tail. Over the years he has become a known name in the Fairy Tail guild.

When he was in his twenties, Blaise reappeared and explained that she had been inside him the whole time, making antibodies so he wouldn't transform into a dragon if he overused his magic. "I've been watching you this whole time, Dragneel. I'm proud of you, my son. But it's time for me to leave. You don't need my help anymore." After giving a heartfelt goodbye, she flew off into the wilderness, where she's been continuing her life as the human hermit Ryoko.

    • Can easily entertain herself: A good book or some music is all she really needs to entertain herself. She's also pretty content listening to her allies converse, even if she doesn't add much to the conversation; it just may look like she's not having fun sometimes.

    Personal Flaws:
    • Hesitant: Socially she has to work up the courage to talk to strangers, but when it comes to fights, she doesn't have the bravado that her father (Gurren) has and can be a bit slow listening to her instincts.
    • Lessens her accomplishments: A part of her may appreciate compliments, but she feels like she doesn't disserve them.
    • Haunted by past trauma: The sight of dead bodies reminds her of seeing the still bodies of her parents, opening emotional wounds and creating the need to pause to get a grip. She can get stressed when the fighting gets "too heated." She also worries about Gurren sharing the same fate as her birth father and not being able to save him.
    • Nearsighted: Without her glasses she can't see much in front of her clearly.

    Personality:
Skylar is a shy and quiet girl. She's friendly and polite, but overthinks how to communicate with others, causing her to stutter or pause while speaking. She doesn't like to seem rude and tends to wait for a point in a conversation to butt in because she doesn't like feeling like she's interrupted something. She has a few nervous tics, like pressing her index fingers together or fiddling with her hair. She has to force herself to make eye contact with others and feels like she thinks better when she's not looking someone in the eyes.

She's a kind-hearted girl and a lover of animals. She wants to help out as best as she can, but she struggles with doubt. If someone compliments her, she tends to brush it off by giving credit elsewhere. She's traumatized at the sight of death and can get overwhelmed when shit really starts hitting the fan. She knows what it is like to lose loved ones and would like to spare as many people as she can from feeling that.

    Guild: Fairy Tail

    Guild Tenure: 1 year

    Rank: C-Rank

    Magic: Animal Soul

    Backstory:
Born as Skylar Livre, she grew up in a cottage in the woods with her parents. She inherited Animal Soul Magic from her mother and traveled around to see different animals. Zoo visits and ice cream trips were frequent. She had a happy childhood, until one day...

Dark wizards attacked. They had found Skylar's home and decided it was the perfect target. Her parents tried to fight them off, but they were killed in the conflict. "Oi, you're ruining the merchandise!" a woman's voice said, clearly she was the boss. She placed an anti-magic choker on Skylar's neck and placed a bag over her head. When the bag was removed, Skylar found herself in a cage in a basement. She was down there for a couple days and was so scared that she periodically cried throughout the day.

She would have been sold off into slavery from the black market if it wasn't for the arrival of Guild wizards. The Magic Council put together a small task force to root out the dark wizards that were trafficking. Gurren Simon was one such wizard. His Dragon-like sense of smell picked up multiple scents, one being Skylar and her fresh tears. He was supposed to wait for a signal, but the scent of a scared little girl fueled the fire in his belly. He forced his way inside, beating up any dark wizard that tried to fight him.

Skylar heard the fighting. At first she only saw Gurren's silhouette and briefly forgot about her father's death. Obviously it wasn't her papa.

After being rescued, she was placed in the care of the Council's soldiers. Gurren stayed close, sitting beside her as she was wrapped in a blanket. "A...are you...g..going to be...i...in trouble?" she asked Gurren. It sounded like they were mad at him for breaking the plan. "They'll get over it. What's important is that you're safe now."

Skylar informed the soldiers that her parents were dead. They planned to take her to an orphanage. Gurren, on the other hand, proposed to bring her with him to Fairy Tail. "Fairy Tail is a family. She'll have no shortages of mothers, fathers, or siblings there. Hell, I'll adopt her myself. What do you say, kiddo?"

Skylar found the spark in Gurren's eyes to be comforting. In a way, they remined her of her father. "I...I...I want to...g..go with Mr. Gurren."

Skylar has been a part of Fairy Tail for the past year. She's been in the care of her adoptive father Gurren, though it took her a little while to get used to calling him "papa."

    Supplies:
    - A shoulder bag.
    - An extra pair of glasses in a case.
    - A couple books
    - A music player. (She likes Jazz and is a big fan of Anita Angelbright.)
    - A cat plush

Physical Description: This was a good close image to what I imagine Carmen looking like, especially the outfit, and the hair is very accurate. Her eyes however are purple instead of yellow.

Personal Strengths: For her age Carmen is smart and has a good understanding of the world around her. She’s probably one of the friendliest wizards you’ll ever meet making it so that she has a lot of friends who care for her. She has a lot of guild pride she is very proud of the guild she’s in, and will never let it die.

Personal Flaws: Carmen tends to put others first then herself making it so she rather someone else’s life then her own. She doesn’t have a lot of control over her magic, yet. She's accidentally hurt more than one of her guildmates when training or trying her best to fight alongside her comrades. She at times can be too friendly and find herself walking right up into a dangerous situation.

Personality: Carmen is probably the friendliest wizard you’ll ever meet. It's never a dull moment when she’s around. She is always running around the guild like a wild child even though she’s 14...She just tends to like to remain crazy. When she isn’t running around full of energy Carmen is reading stories of all the many different things in Fiore. Carmen loves books because she loves learning new things!

Guild: Fairy Tail

Guild Tenure: 14 years!

Rank: C

Magic 1: Poison Crystal Maker Magic

Magic 2: None

Backstory: Carmen was abandoned as a baby right in front of the Fairy Tail guild hall. She was put in a basket and left to either die or hoped to pick up by the current guildmaster at the time. From being a baby to now being 14 years old Carmen was raised by the guildhall meaning she’s seen plenty of wizards come and go as they please. When Carmen was 5 years old she found herself looking up to an S rank wizard named Ranae who specializes in Poison Smoke Make magic, and this where Carmen was determined to learn if not Poison Smoke Make Magic some type of maker magic similar to who she called her master’s. For the next 6 years of her life Carmen lived under Ranae’s shadows watching her and walking in her footsteps.

When Carmen turned 11 years the guildmaster had a sudden mission he had to send Ranae on. Although Carmen begged to go on her first mission with Ranae both the master and Rane denied her request because not only was she too young, but she didn’t have a lot of control of her magic power yet. Not even a week after Ranae was sent on the mission the master brought unfortunate news to Carmen that Ranae was killed on the mission she was sent off on. In utter distress, Carmen shut herself down until her master’s witches hat came back to the guild through civilians that found the cap in the garbage. They must have found the hat by seeing the Fairy Tail symbol on the side of the hat. Carmen was then given this hat in the memory of her master. From here on out she lives to be a better Fairy Tail wizard then Renae.

Supplies: Her Witches hat then she usually has a few spell books with her at all times too.

Name:
Kiran Whitegate
Gender:
Male
Age:
26
Height:
6 feet 4 inches
Physical Description:
Kiran Is a tall, somewhat toned young man who looks a little more intimidating than he really is. He has shaggy blonde hair and gray eyes, both of his ear lobes are pierced, and he had a lip ring as well. Kiran favors army green and black paired with leather bracelets and a choker which often give off a punk vibe. He just thinks it looks the best on him.
Personal Strengths:
- Respectful: Kiran always respects the people around him, whether it be a friend or stranger because he wants to be treated the same way. He will respect you until you prove to him you aren't worthy of said respect, such as you turn out to be a bully.
- Caring/Compassionate: It's easy for Kiran to empathize with others, which makes him more like to jump in to try and help. He wants to help others who need it and often goes out of his way to do so. It's why he carries treats with him and makes sure that he's always ready to hug someone of needed.
- Open-Minded: While sometimes limited, Kiran Is generally a very open-minded person. It doesn't matter what race you are or who you love, Kiran doesn't mind at all.
- Trusting: Kiran has no problem trusting people after they've proven themselves. And sometimes, even before that which can lead to trouble. But he a strong intuition about things like that and more often than not his trust pays off.
- Trustworthy: Just as he is quick to trust, Kiran does his best to present himself as a trustworthy person. And he is, whether of be a secret or to watch your back in battle, Kiran is always a solid choice.
Personal Flaws:
- Naive: It is easy to fool him despite everything else. He blindly trusts people and tends to ignore bad feelings and red flags because he just doesn't recognize what they are.
- Judgemental: As open-minded as he is, Kiran is a pretty judgemental person. He takes your past and your current actions all into consideration, will judge you for small mistakes, and is somewhat oblivious to the fact he does this.
- Picky: A picky eater, picky to what he hangs our with, picky about how he and others dress. The only thing he's not picky about are his keys since the more you have as a celestial wizard, the higher your status is.
- Slight Superiority Complex: He doesn't use himself above all others, but at the same time, there are a few people he does consider himself better than. Dark Guild current and former members, those who always cause an insane amount of damage, people who cuss a lot for no reason. There are few others, but you get the jist. He won't go out of his way to be ruse to them or make it obvious he seems himself as a better person, and he is trying to get better but those thoughts are still there.
Personality:
Kiran is a sweet young man with conflicting traits. His is, for the most part, a smiling guy who tends to try and put others above his own needs. Most of the time he succeeds. Charming, and patient, he will take as much time necessary to help calm someone down, be they stranger or guild mate. He's a good shoulder to use when you're upset, a great listener, and always seems to have the optimistic outlook on life and any situation no matter how grave. That's just how Kiran is. A bit naive sometimes which can get him into trouble, but it often doesn't end up too badly.

But not nobody is perfect, and Kiran is no exception. He is extremely judgemental when it comes to people with dark pasts. Such as an ex-criminal. It doesn't matter if they have tried to change or are no longer a threat, Kiran treats them all as if they're not worth the dirt on his shoes. He's also somewhat obsessed with his self image and tends to avoid those who would tarnish it. Not that he sees everyone as bad, but he certainly believes that some people are better than others. Kiran Is only truly open to celestial keys, taking any who are willing to make a contract with him. Like his guildmates and those he sees are okay to interact with, his keys are treated with the upmost respect and love.

Guild:
Blue Pegasus
Guild Tenure:
10 years
Rank:
A
Magic 1:
Celestial Magic
Magic 2:
Solid Script Magic
- Aquarius the Water Bearer
- Leo the Lion
- Aries the Ram
- Scorpio the Scorpion
- Corvus the Crow: A large crow spirit that helps with navigation and recon. He can be kept out of the spirit world as a pet every day except Saturday afternoons, and while a helpful spirit, Corvus is a bit un-agreeable.
- Suctum the Shield: Suctum the shield presents as a small man, only three feet six inches tall, carrying a shield. That shield, however, can change in size, growing up to 20 feet tall and 20 feet wide. It can also be duplicated up to three times, but each shield loses 5 feet to both height and width.
- Orion, the Hunter: Presenting as a tall man wearing animal skins, Orion is a quiet hunter. A tracking spirit who can be summoned only three days a week, he excels in finding targets and lost people. Meaning Kiran can almost always find who's he's looking for. Given it's on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
- Reticulum, The Net: A wiry creature that resembled a mass of tangled string or fishing line, Reticulum is a spirit great for capturing other parties. He can make nets of all variety of sizes, and from a few different materials such as metal, rope, or mesh. The net's can be broken, but a large number of them can be made in rapid succession though it uses a lot of magically energy. He can't be summoned on Sunday's.

Backstory:
There's not much Kiran remembers about his very early beginnings. Not because of amnesia or anything, but he banged his head pretty good a while ago so things are a little muddled. He knows that he came from a well off family in some small town. They were very supportive but a little overbearing. They're actually the ones who taught him how to use magic. Or at least the basics, and they gave him his first key and light pen. He also knows that they've passed on, which makes him feel less guilty about forgetting his hometown. Things get a little less fuzzy when he's about 12. Kiran, after the death of his parents, started living with his grandmother and her 2nd husband. There, he was exposed to even finer things in life, not questioning how his grandparents were able to do some of the things they were doing. He grew used to thag life, freely practicing his magic and making contracts with celestial spirits. It was a good life.

For a few years, three to be exactly, Kiran lived with his grandparents. Oblivious to the obviously sketchy reality of their line of work. It all came to light one day when a guild, Blue Pegasus, came knocking. They had accepted a quest, and at the end of a long trail of corruption and manipulation sat his grandparents. He was shocked. Devastated. Kiran didn't know what to do or what to tell the mages who came to collect their bounty. So they brought him with them. Kiran was just a co fused teenager, and obviously not a threat. Plus, he was a celestial wizard with two holden keys already. What was not to love?

When they brought him back to their guild hall, Kiran refused to join immediately. He was grieving, and still reeling from learning his grandparents were criminals. A part of him was convinced that they had been wrong, and so for the first few months he spent his time researching. And he unfortunately came to the same conclusion the mages had originally. So on his 16th birthday, Kiran asked if he could become a full fledged member. And the guild master at the time accepted. He was overjoyed, and finally felt like maybe things would ho his way. There have been ups and downs over the past ten years, but over all, Kiran has made a name for himself as a reliable and killed member of the guild, on the fast track to becoming an S-Class mage.

Supplies:
- His celestial keys, obviously

- A solid light pen, though he's been saving up for a new one

- A bo staff. He's self-taught and uses a rather unorthodox method when it comes to fighting with it. But he can still hold his own.

- Kiran always has a small bag of sweets and tissues to help cheer up people who are upset and distressed

Leviathan II "Levi"

Gender:
Female

Age:
17

Height:
4'2"

Image:
aada17cee7cd936ed7c1b89765070f65.png

Personal Strengths:
She is one who always ensures that she helps others.

Personal Flaws:
Her height complex.

Personality:
Levi is a polite little altruistic lass. She's always sure to greet everyone respectfully, be it friend or foe - yes, even if the end result is one side dying. She shows great sympathy for those uninvolved who would get affected, but goes through with things for the greater good anyways. One would think that someone with her personality would fight with fairness and honour, but any tactic under the sun is fair game for Leviathan II - she knows you'll pull it, so she will too.

Guild:
Fairy Tail

Guild Tenure:
3 years

Rank:
A

Magic 1: Water Dragon Slayer Magic
A type of Lost Magic. As a type of Dragon Slayer Magic, it grants Leviathan an immunity (or at least a very high resistance) to water-based magic and other water attacks, even allowing her to drain ice and steam to boost her own power. The transmogrificative properties of Dragon Slayer magic allows her to turn her body into that of water. At more advanced levels, she can spew even frigid blizzards and hot steam.

Backstory:
When her town destroyed when she was young, the one who would later be called Leviathan II was sought out by Leviathan, the great Water Dragon. Leviathan recognised the girl's potential, and thus took her in as an adoptive child and pupil. As a successor, Leviathan gave the girl a new name, naming her after herself - Leviathan II. This was due to how Leviathan knew that she had to go, so she wanted her name to be known via a successor. When Leviathan disappeared one fateful day, the girl, Leviathan II, sought out to train herself, which was when she found Fairy Tail, where she could train and fight to her heart's content. By training with the strongest, and by having some of the most powerful magic in the world, she easily rose in rank, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have anything else to learn.

Supplies:
A sword, a memoir from her original parents.

Name: Astrid Ceral "Shieldmaiden of Fairy Tail"

Gender: Female

Age: She’s somewhere in her 60s. A friend she met within her lifetime cast a spell upon her that grants her youth because who's ever seen an old shieldmaiden?

Height: 5’6”

Character Strengths:
  • Good at judging first impressions
  • Protects everyone she can
  • More defensive than offensive
  • Loyal to a fault
  • Follows her heart
Character Flaws:
  • Stubborn as a bull
  • Impatient
  • Loud enough to wake people in the building next door
  • Struggles letting go of broken friendships
  • Believes there is good in everyone which leads to recklessness at times
Personality: Astrid is a very motherly soul who protects each and every one of her guildmates and also every single innocent soul from anything that could tarnish it. She believes in simplicity where it is possible and sometimes simplicities involve overdoing things. After all, restraining oneself is a complicated business. As such, she is fully aware that her guild is one to go over the top with a lot of things and she’s not going to be the one to stop them even if it does make things more complicated for her at various points in her lifetime.

She is also the kind of person who usually manages to get good first impressions of new people that she meets. The heart is the soul of Fairy Tail, after all, and since she is it's shieldmaiden, she sees the hearts of everyone she guards. She is a very hard person to lie to, not because she is good at catching lies, but because she is simply so sincere herself that it can tear at another person’s heart when they try to tell her a lie.

Stubbornness and impatience are her main flaws, though. She’s loud in an argument - although not rude - and she doesn’t back down from anything, not even a screaming match with her own guildmate. She’s surprisingly restrained even then, though. None of her words ever seem to manage to cause lasting harm and that’s intentional. Furthermore, she is not one to let things happen slowly. She’s always egging on the inevitable, trying to get the world to “just get on with it already.”

Backstory: Somewhere between Dawn City and Crocus lies the Weaver’s Guild, suppliers of a majority of the popular clothing brands sold throughout Fiore. The members of the guild are proud of what they can do and they’re glad and happy to provide clothing for a large majority of the nation. Among the Weaver’s Guild were two members who fell in love and were married - in clothing they made, mind you. They became some of the most popular leaders within the guild as well because of their unique abilities. Marcus and Vianna Ceral had discovered a brand of magic that allowed them to weave things in a so much more efficient manner and they tried to pass it on to the rest of the guild, hoping to improve everything. However, they were soon disappointed to learn that very few others in their guild had any aptitude for magic at all; thus, they could not be taught.

The guild continued on as they were in that situation, and Marcus and Vianna kept their newly discovered magic running in the ways that they could. The couple also soon welcomed a new member into the guild when they had a child - a daughter who they named Astrid. Their excitement only grew as they wondered if she too could have their aptitude for magic and that excitement drove them throughout the time they spent raising her.

Their daughter grew up like they would’ve expected any child to, as well. She loved being around guild members and she was always fascinated by all the pretty things that the people around her could make. That became apparent as soon as she could walk. Her parents also discovered around then that she did have the aptitude for their magic and they started teaching her with great enthusiasm.

However, having aptitude for weaving was not enough. As soon as they started teaching her, Astrid quickly lost interest in it. What her parents did was cool, but the child was too impatient and didn’t have the will to keep pushing through how difficult it would be to master such a magic. She rebelled against their efforts. Around the same time, too, she started learning about the magical guilds of the world. Astrid told her parents that their magic was useless compared to what real wizards could do when she was only six years old and she said she wanted to be a real wizard, “unlike them.” Her words were harsh, but her parents decided to let her be what she wanted to be. They helped her to get to Magnolia and to Fairy Tail. Her mother even went with her for a time, but it wasn’t for her. Leaving Astrid at the guildhall after living with her for two months, Vianna left her daughter with a cloak she’d woven herself. Its qualities were things Astrid wouldn’t learn until years later, though.

What Astrid did learn was that she wanted a magic that could actually do something, that could show how powerful she was and that she could fight with. That was where her first guild friendship started growing. Royce Obertuck became a good teacher to the young girl and he gave her a shield that he said was imbued with all the power of all the fairies in the world. Of course, no one knows if fairies exist, but it sounded pretty cool to the six year old girl and she started learning to use it to defend everyone.

Her other guild members told her of a magic called requip and that if she wanted, she could collect many weapons and learn to use them all. Surprisingly, considering that she wanted to learn to fight, Astrid decided that she was only going to collect shields to defend everyone with and as she learned more and more, she collected more shields. Not only that, but she developed her own way of manipulating the requip so that each shield had it’s own unique properties that varied depending on who had gifted her the shield. She became the shieldmaiden of Fairy Tail. Times were happy.

Alas, that could not last. Astrid had been out on a mission when the Fairy Tail was attacked and wrapped up in a guild war. Though they had been outlawed by the magic council, it wasn’t enough to stop Raven Tail from trying to destroy their rival guild. Her friend and teacher, Royce, perished that day and Astrid blamed herself for not being there to protect him. Although it was a war that Fairy Tail ultimately won, leading to the disbanding of Raven Tail for a time, so much was destroyed. Their guildmaster at the time stepped down and succumbed to grief for all that had been lost. Stubbornness prevailed in Astrid, though. She rallied everyone together in an effort to rebuild and by the time she was sixteen, no one doubted that she had the largest heart of all that remained of Fairy Tail.

After a six year absence of any guildmaster at all, Astrid Ceral stepped up to the plate, as guildmaster and as shieldmaiden of Fairy Tail. Since her step-up, they have never lost a fight and Astrid doubts they ever will.

Mage Rank: Guildmaster

Tattoo Location: Right ankle

Guild Tenure: 40+ years

Opinion of Guild: They’re all behind the shield in her mind. And anyone behind her shield is someone she’ll protect.

Magic Abilities: Shield Requip Magic & Weaver’s Thread Magic

Advantages:
  • With this combination of magics, Astrid has both an offense and a defense. Her shields, naturally, are the defensive side of things and each shield has its own unique properties. Weaver’s Thread Magic is actually something she made offensive. She can use it to restrain opponents and she can even interlace the threads within an opponent's body doing terrifying damage.

  • Weaver’s thread is so thin that it is hard to see making it hard for opponents to defend against.

  • She can carry all of her shields at once with her requip magic without having to worry about their weight or having the space to hold them.
Disadvantages:
  • Shields can be broken and although hers are stronger than most, it is still possible to shatter them or attack around them.

  • Speed is hard for her to keep up with in quite a few different situations. A shield is only helpful if she can get it in front of the attack in time, after all. Her reflexes are quite high, but anyone with augmented speed will have an advantage.

  • Thread magic itself requires very heavy concentration when used in the ways that Astrid tends to use it which means that she is vulnerable when using it. Her first attack tends to involve restraining her opponent for this reason.
Level of Expertise: Expert in both - she’s actually taken the Weaver’s Thread Magic further than anyone else in history.

Battle Equipment: An extensive collection of shields, each with their own magic properties (will list as they are revealed)

Other Items: The cloak from her mother is capable of granting her invisibility if she wishes it.

Seth Quinton

  • Gender: Male

    Age: 16

Height: 5'11" (He will argue to round it up to 6 Feet)

    Image:
    DVw_HsSW4AARk34.png

Personal Strengths: Seth is extremely imaginative and creative, which helps very well for his Magic. He's also extremely friendly which makes it super easy for people to get along with him. He can be very protective of the people he grew up with and hates when somebody talks bad about whoever he considers his family.

Personal Flaws: The shortest attention span of almost any person you could ever meet, Seth can't stay focused one one thing for too long his mind is constantly wandering from one thing to another. Even more so if the thing he is supposed to be focused on doesn't interest him. Acts like a child

Personality: Goofball is the best way to summarize his personality, always cracking jokes or just being extremely sporadic in his actions. Will only act serious if he absolutely has to, if not he just wants to be the life of the party. Seth is also very kind only rarely getting mad over anything.

Guild: Sabertooth. Guild mark is on his left shoulder (Light blue)

    Guild Tenure: 16 Years

Rank: S (Just passed the S rank Exam)

Magic 1: Clay-make. Just like its molding magic siblings Clay-make allows Seth to mold or create clay by concentrating his Magic Power into his hands for different shapes or forms. Clay-make is versatile allowing itself to be an offensive/defensive type of magic.

Magic 2: Ignition magic. Seth can forcefully condense his magic power into one small point and letting it burst outward on command. These condensed points called Ignition Orbs can vary in size. The smaller the orb the more concentrated the magical power. He commonly uses this with his clay-make such as making exploding knives or other smaller objects, or even on a specific part of his clay creations one example is the boom hammer where the end of the hammer explodes on impact but no other part will explode. The clay combos well since it allows him to safely control where he places the Ignition Orbs.

Backstory: Seth was born and raised at the Sabertooth Guild, his parents were both mages at the guild so he's always been around magic. With an eye for being artistic Seth has always been seen drawing or painting while growing up which gave his parents the idea of teaching him molding magic so he could really utilize his creativity. By the time he was 8 Seth was already going on jobs with his parents learning as much as he possibly could. Seth also never went to school so some of the guild members as well as his parents would teach him anything he would need to know.
Seth was happy with his life up until he was 13, he was old enough that his parents would let him go on jobs on his own and because of that his parents would take their regular S-Rank quests. Eventually his parents thought they could take on a 100 Year Job since they believed Seth was old enough to take care of himself and he still had the guild watching over him. Everything seemed to be going well, Seth would get letters and Communication Lacrima calls every week or so but by the age of 15 they suddenly stopped. This put Seth in a state of depression since no-one knew what happened (Or at least wasn't telling him) And they wouldn't let him go on the job itself to find out what happened. He locked himself away from the rest of the guild and basically the world only speaking to his childhood friend. After a few months she finally managed to convince him to leave his room and give him the inspiration to get stronger so that one day he would be strong enough to find his parents. It was at that point he knew that his one magic wouldn't be enough so he began to learn his Ignition magic after watching a fireworks show in the city .

Supplies: He will always have at least one bag of chips or some kind of candy to snack on.

Kolten Luhren
Basic Information

5965778914548ad1c392d388344093b4--blonde-boys-blonde-hair.jpg
Name: Kolton Luhren

Gender: Male

Age: 29

Appearance: Although he is pictured to the right, there are a few other notes to Kolton’s appearance as well. He has a firm abdomen, and he knows quite well that he could have every girl in Fiore crawling after him. However, Kolton never puts his body on display and he is always wearing clothes that attempt to conceal how attractive he is.

Height: 6’3”

Hair Color: Blonde

Eye Color: Green

More Real Information
Personality: Kolton is not a man who believes in redemption or who believes that it’s possible to wipe negative aspects from one’s ledger. He believes that if anyone gets red on their ledger by intention or by mistake, then they have to work that much harder in order to overcome the red and then they need to sustain that new standard forever to be able to be in the right. That is how he has lived his life. He’s worked to make himself a better man after each and every mistake he’s ever made and as the Raven Tail Guildmaster, he’s been working to do that with the guild over the past seven years.

He’s a rather firm man. He makes decisions and he sticks with them, but he does think them through before he makes them. Very rarely will he change his mind on something and Kolton will also very rarely be out of the know on anything important. With a strict decisiveness, Kolton has either politely requested that anyone who supports what Royce was up to or that anyone who disagrees with him to leave the guild and he’s been keeping everyone who stayed on the Magic Council’s good side.

As much as he cares for his guild, he’s also not one to coddle them or to show too much sympathy towards them either. Kolton tells things as they are without really trying to soften anything much and he is rather blunt. The truth is that he does care. He’ll celebrate their victories with them. When his guildmates fail, though, Kolton will simply encourage them to move on and to take on the next job. That being said, he also knows the members in the guild who he can send other members to when they need more sympathy in their sorrows.

Biography:
Kolton was born in the war torn country of sin to a mother who wasn’t quite sure who his father was because times were hard and brutal and very very abusive.

Sin’s government is run by a small group of elite hoping to create weapons that can match the powers of magical users and to do that, they need to gather their own magical users. Decades ago, most of their magical population fled to Fiore so finding magical users isn’t an easy thing for them. The government has resorted to taking children when they’re young and hoping they can draw some magical potentials out of them. Kolton was taken from his mother when he was two. He barely knew the woman and to this day, all he knows for sure about her is that her name was Katherine.

As a young boy, he was taken to a camp. He was fed slop for food, he was kept in a cell and he was tormented on a daily basis. They were trying to unlock magic potential in anyone who had it and when he was eight, in a private session, Kolton unlocked his. It was chain magic first and it terrified him because chains were something they used - the guards and the people who tortured him used chains. Kolton wanted nothing to do with them. The guard reported him and then Kolton was beat brutally so that the magic could be shown to the superiors. Kolton restrained it with every bone in his body and the guard was killed for lying. No one believed that Kolton really had magic and while he wasn’t being watched, Kolton tried to figure out if he could do anything that wasn’t horrifying. It took him three years after that to discover his affinity for illusion magic when he was probably doing it all along without even realizing it. He was talking with a younger child who started seeing home whenever Kolton was trying to describe what he thought a home would look like.

He doesn’t remember his own home so home has always been something his imagination made up. The younger children always thought Kolton’s home was beautiful. They thought it was so pretty that they could actually see it, that they could hear it, that they could even taste the food. “It’s like magic when you describe it, Kolton,” someone had said to him. That’s when he realized that it was. What he was doing really was magic and then he started exploring it further. He wanted to see what else he could create so vividly that everyone thought it was real. And he did. Kolton started using this power to take away the pain of people who came back from being tortured.

Life got better, but the guards noticed that they were all more cheerful, that they feared things less. They knew that something was going on and the torture got worse. The guards hoped that someone would just give up who it was and what was going on. And people did, but Kolton was there when it happened. He hid it. He made it so that the guards heard something else instead and slowly, he learned just how far he could push his power. Finally, he decided to use it. Kolton made all the guards around them see absolute blackness and he let as many people as he could out. Kolton was the last to run, but his illusion faded towards the end. Everyone else was out, but the illusion faded before he could escape. Surrounded at fourteen, Kolton unleashed his chains for only the second time in his life and he whipped at everyone he could.

As he was running away, Kolton noticed that a child was dead. He’d killed them. Kolton got red on his ledger and ever since then, he’s been trying to wipe it clean. He ran to the one place he knew it was safe for mages to be and that was Fiore. Wanting a guild that wouldn’t ask many questions about who he was or where he came from, Kolton joined Raven Tail at age fifteen and he’s been trying to become so much stronger that it puts him above his sins. He’s also been trying to mold Raven Tail into the home that he imagined he would one day have when he was trapped in the camp.

Although Raven Tail was on probation at the time due to having an ongoing conflict with Fairy Tail, Kolton decided it was the place for him. He worked on improving his magic, getting stronger, and getting to know the people who called Raven Tail home. Eventually, when the Magic Council reinstated Raven Tail to full guild status, Kolton was selected as the new official guildmaster.

Name: Eira Einherjar

Personal Strengths:
Determined: She has a strong sense of resolve to perform her duties. Even if she doesn't think she is able she will do everything in her power to make it happen.
Altruistic: Eira is very much about putting the needs of others before herself. She will do what she can do to help out someone in need if she is able to.
Optimistic: Eira always to keep an optimistic outlook on everything even if dire times. Never give up hope no matter how bad things look!

Personal Flaws:
Self-doubt: Eira lacks self confidence doubting her own capabilities. She will often blame herself for her own shortcomings and situations outside her own control.
Poor Liar: She isn't capable of lying to save her life. This includes "white lies' to not hurt peoples feelings. She will often try and side step saying anything directly and come off very evasive.
Crybaby: Eira is horrible when it comes to holding back tears when it comes to seeing something sad or upsetting. Its a trait she was often teased about
Personality: Eira is a very kindhearted girl. She is incredibly altruistic seeing it her duty to help those in need who are unable to help themselves. She always tries to keep up a strong front wanting to show an air of confidence about herself despite in truth being not the most confident in her own abilities. Despite this, she is incredibly determined to complete her duty being unwilling to back away even if the task she knows might seem near impossible. She always tries to keep a more optimistic spin on things both internally as well as around others to try and keep a strong morale even if things might seem iffy.

Living in the shadow of her older sister for much of her life has caused her to have a lack of confidence in herself. She doesn't put much confidence in her own abilities even if she might be skilled at something and others might acknowledge it. Eira is rather horrible when it comes to lying. Often when someone asks for an opinion on something she doesn't want to let them down on she will fumble for words attempting to throw an incredibly unbelievable lie or more often attempt to evade or pivot the conversation in another direction. While Eira does her best to hide her emotions, she can have a good bit of trouble in stopping herself from tearing up or showing herself being upset.

Magic 1: Barrier Magic

Magic 2: ???

Backstory: Eira was born as the second daughter in her family after her older sister Kara. Sometime after her birth both her parents had died causing the two children to be taken in the care of a family friend who took them into hiding. The two siblings spent much of their time together being as close as siblings could be growing up. Eira idolized her sister seeing her being on a completely higher level then herself. She would often try and copy her sister only to have her fall apart or start to tear up electing for her sister to tease her for being a crybaby. Despite being sisters they were practically best friends growing up both out of choice as well as lacking many others their own age to interact with.

Eira learned to use her Barrier magic from one of her guardians mostly under the urging of Kara who seemed the most enthused by it. While Eira wanted to learn such magic seeing it as a way of providing protection for others. While stumbling a little at first she managed to take to it rather well and soon enough the two sisters worked on honing each other's talents. For them they wanted to learn to grow strong and get to use their magic for the sake of protecting others, a decree in part instilled into their family they wished to carry on the legacy of. As the years passed the two grew to be quite good even as youngsters, Eira often pushed by her sister to continue to train hard in part with what Eira viewed to give Kara someone to practice on though she would later learn it was in part due to Kara also wanting to make sure Eira improved herself rather then simply giving in thinking she wouldn't ever be good enough to help her out.

The two ended up parting ways now in their teens with their new guardian traveling some distance away by his urging to join a rather small no named Guild. It was through there the two quickly gained a name for themselves as young low ranking mages. As the years passed the two went up to rank with her sister always managing to stay above her though the two always electing to work together despite Eira always attempting to encourage Kara to partner up with someone better then her, often resulting in a firm scolding from her older sister. Where her sister always provided the 'firepower' she always provided the support in getting any job they had done. Being a small no name guild wasn't something that shot them up in popularity but it wasn't something either of them sought to begin with. Unfortunately even with lacking such popularity it doesn't stop those who might want to find them from doing so.

While undergoing another mission together an unknown Mage launched an ambush attacking the two sisters. While Eira was rather quickly knocked out of the fight Kara managed to hold her own fighting off the supposed Assassin even going so far as to greatly hurt and scar them. Before she could finish him off the Assassin attacked the then nearly unconscious Eira causing Kara to block it mortally wounding herself. The Assassin managed to barely escape as Kara carried Eira away to a home where she could find help before collapsing. The two sisters shared brief parting words with a crying Eira promising to take Kara's will and carry out the task she gave her no matter the cost to her.

Eira was ultimately treated still a bit injured she sent a message resigning from the small guild and journeying off keeping as secretive as possible traveling to a foreign land. It was there she sought to find a new guild away from any who might wish to upset her older sister's will seeking a place to make home and one whom she can entrust her will to.

Supplies:

Pendant: A gold and topaz encrusted amulet once held by her sister inherited from her mother. She holds a great deal of value in it as a family heirloom
Wooden Practice Sword: A rather simple wooden practice sword used primarily with training with her sister. She mostly keeps it for sentimental value holding little need for it now.

Leya is a kind, caring soul. Willing to go to great lengths to assist friends in any way she can. Strong-willed and stubborn. She is trusting and forgiving, always looking for people’s best qualities. Very clever and a quick thinker. Very thorough in her process of learning, making her a powerful tactician for what she lacks in physical strength.

Personal Flaws:
Can get too stubborn with her cause, often giving the wrong people the benefit of the doubt. Not a good judge of character, as she can be naive about people’s true intentions. Will put her own safety at risk to save others. Clumsy. Often underestimates her own powers and limits.
Not physically strong and takes longer to adapt to new skills as she attempts to perfect them as she goes.

Personality:
Leya is very joyful and emotional. She will laugh with her companions, comfort and cry with her friends and express happiness for others’ success. It is easy to read Leya as she often acts from emotion and speaks her mind. It takes a lot for her to get angry, but can easily get upset and emotional over struggles or self-doubt. Her body-language is very energetic and “loud”, stemming from her way of expressing her emotions. That being said, she is easy to get along with - though some find her childish and annoying being an energetic, joyful person. Leya keeps a close circle of friends, but it is ever expanding as she is very friendly by nature. A naive sweetheart, with a big spirit.

Guild: Lamia Scale

Guild Tenure: 2 years

Tattoo Location: On her right shoulder

Rank: C

Magic 1: Sky Dragon Slayer

Spells:
  • Heal: Heals a target by manipulating pure air. Cannot be cast on her own injuries, though she does heal fast. Depending on the fatality of the injuries, it takes different levels of strength to complete a healing-session. Can heal poison, fatal injuries, fatigue and bodily stress.
  • Armor: A supportive spell that allows the user to temporarily enhance the targets’ (or casters) defenses for an unspecified amount of time. Can be used in conjunction with Vernier, though Leya lacks the skills to perform such a spell at this time.
  • Vernier: A supportive spell that allows the user to temporarily enhance the targets’ movement speed, surrounding them with magical auras. Can be cast on multiple targets, including the caster, though Leya currently only possesses the skill to cast one spell at a time to one target.
  • Sky Dragon’s Cleanse: A supportive spell that negates any spell that has effect on their (or on a target’s) body.
  • Momentary Wind: A supportive spell that gathers wind at the users feet to use a speed boost.
  • Sky Dragon’s Roar: The user gathers and releases a large quantity of air, creating a quick and powerful tornado-like blast.
Backstory:
Leya couldn’t remember much of value from her early years. She had never known her mother and her father had been absent. Her first memories were from a shelter for orphans, though she could not quite seem to fit into any of the homes she was sent to. Being different from the other children, she was often left to her own devices and ended up taking matters into her own hands and explored the areas around the shelters and homes she was sent to. Being a curious child at heart, she often found herself wandering the areas of the forests close to the town, playing her own little game of adventurer.

One day, Leya strayed too far from her path and got lost in the forest. She went deeper than she had ever been before and got more scared, more hungry and more alone by the minute. Unable to find her way back to where she came from, she finally sat down by a large tree and cried. She was cold, hungry and scared. Out of nowhere, she felt a gust of wind above her and a voice echoing. Looking up, Leya saw a beautiful white creature look down on her with piercing blue eyes - similar to her own. The creature explained. It was a dragon. Grandeeney, a Sky Dragon. Leya was not scared - she was intrigued and curious. When the dragon asked if she wanted to learn her way of magic, Leya eagerly followed, leaving behind her town and starting a new chapter that would change her life forever.

The days with Grandeeney were full of joy and new experiences. Learning magic, slow, but thoroughly. Being given lectures about life and values, things she would only imagine being taught by her unknown parents. Grandeeney felt like a mother to Leya, and each day they grew closer. Four years was what she got with Grandeeney. Knowing Grandeeney would never leave without an explanation, Leya waited for a month for her to return. A child of 11 years old was once again left on her own.

Defeated and hurt, Leya once again started her own journey. She travelled from town to town, not knowing what her purpose would be. The lectures from Grandeeney still rang loud and true inside Leya, but how could she make use of this magic she had been taught to do good? She volunteered at hospitals throughout the towns she visited, making enough money to get by but also getting to use her powers for something good. Two months after Leya’s 15th birthday, she was visiting the town of Margaret Town. By pure chance, she stumbled upon the hall of Lamia Scale where she was greeted by members of the guild. When she explained her reasoning for visiting the town, about Grandeeney and her Sky Dragon Magic, she was offered a position in the guild by Patty.

Being a weaker combatant and only specializing in healing-magic, she started off as a D-rank member, often helping returning members from their quests and supporting them on their journeys. 1.5 years after joining Lamia Scale, she got approved for her C-rank position after gaining more skill within her field of magic from experience on Quests and practicing her magic, but still having a very long path before reaching her maximum potential.

Supplies:
Leya always carried a pendant she received from Grandeeney, a green emerald around her neck.

Jasmine Vekron
480
Name: Jasmine Vekron

Gender: Female

Age: 34

Height: 6’2”

Hair Color: Blue

Eye Color: Blue

Personality: Jasmine has a very dominant personality that takes over almost any room she steps into. She radiates power and ambition and that ambition is a great part of how she interacts with others. Although she automatically respects power and uses great caution around it, she also doesn’t back down from challenges and she does not take attitude from anyone at all. When people prove to her that they’re seeking to become stronger, that also gains them her respect so long as they don’t intend to use that power for destruction. Anyone who wants to use power for destruction is worse than scum in Jasmine’s book. Even when fighting enemies, she never seeks to cause unnecessary destruction.

One role Jasmine loves stepping into whenever she gets an opportunity to do so is the role of teacher. Helping people discover their true power is one of her favorite things to do and she does it whenever she can. As a teacher, Jasmine manages to be a very patient person who does her best to impart confidence into her students because confidence helps a person to learn more. She also believes in people who never give up. Jasmine does not allow her students or members of her guild to give up. It’s not an option and anyone who does it finds themselves automatically on her bad side.

To those she doesn’t like, Jasmine can quite honestly be a bitch. She tosses insults freely without a care in the world for what people think of hearing them and she’ll not hesitate to threaten, either, because she’s strong enough to carry out threats. Very rarely will she become hostile towards any member of Sabertooth, but she will teach people appropriate lessons if they give up or harm her guild’s reputation.

Character Strengths:
  • Strong and ambitious
  • A fabulous teacher
  • Charismatic

Character Flaws:
  • Easily becomes hostile
  • Lacks restraint when it comes to mercy
  • Holds long grudges

Biography:
Jasmine grew up on a family farm built into terraces on the mountains north of Crocus. There were a few other farms in the neighboring areas and those were some of the only people Jasmine was ever able to socialize with. Most of what she learned growing up was related to farming because both she and her older brother were meant to take over the farm someday. There was very little else for them to learn beyond things that related to farming because there wasn’t much that actually threatened their livelihoods either. Their farms were carved into the mountainsides using magic that few others could replicate and that no bandit was silly enough to try and destroy.

The terraces were created using magic. Earth magic ran in their veins and both Jasmine and her brother learned some of it, too. They learned enough to farm the land and that was really all that they learned about magic; it was enough for both her and her brother - Jameson - to be content. They were growing up just as they were supposed to and they were happy with that.

Things went wrong when Jasmine was twelve. Crocus was attacked by a man named Loren Uelain and he nearly destroyed the capital with a shadow demon weapon by his side. The man fought with shadow fire - a fire that cannot be seen, but that burns with a fury nonetheless. The fire wasn’t contained in Crocus and because no one could see it, the flames raged up into the mountains, melting ice-caps and sending endless rivers flooding down the stone while the fire continued to spread on and on. Their terraces were flooded and their crops were destroyed, and that wasn’t the end of it, either. Shadow fire spread through the mountains, destroyed their farm lands and started tearing through the homes of the neighbors.

Jasmine, Jameson, and both of their parents tried putting up walls against it, walls of solid earth and rock and mountain stone. None of it could stop the shadow fire, though. Flames that they couldn’t see still managed to maneuver around the walls and barricades and their homes were demolished. They kept trying to fight the fire and it resulted in casualties. Jameson, along with her mother, were both burned in the flames and Jasmine was left to run with her father. Even then, though, they didn’t make it far before the terrors followed them. Soldiers from Crocus came up into the mountains, wielding intense water magic to fight the shadow fires after Loren Uelain had been caught and they didn’t really have any liberties to be careful with their fight. A piece of the mountain cracked and broke. Jasmine’s father fell to her doom. She was orphaned at twelve and she hid in what remained of the farmland even though it couldn’t be called farmland anymore.

Days passed and people came up into the hills to clean up what had been destroyed, and to assess the damage. Jasmine blended in with what was around her and it took them two days before they found her. She was terrified and crying. No one quite knew what to do with her, but a mage from Sabertooth stepped forward. He offered to bring her to his guild until they found a better place for her to be - no one really knew who she was at the time or what she was capable of. Although she didn’t expect it, Jasmine found a home at the guild hall and she unveiled what little magic she knew. Instantly, she was invited to join, but she declined at first. She wasn’t sure she wanted to stay so close to where her home had been. However, she also had no intentions of leaving right away.

With nothing better to do, Jasmine immersed herself into magic and started working on developing her earth magic further. She wanted to be able to contain fire if she ever needed to do so again, and she quickly discovered so much more about what she was capable of. Somehow, she discovered another magic along the way as well. Jasmine learned that the soul of her brother had somehow followed her, that she could give it a home and keep it by her side if she really wanted to. She had soul magic as well as the earth magic her family had taught her.

Immersing herself in studies, two years past like nothing and Jasmine was learning more and more about magic every day. By that time, she did consent to joining Sabertooth. After all, they were the guild that had helped her learn so much. Followed by her brother’s soul, Jasmine sought vengeance for her family. Although Loren Uelain had been arrested and locked far away, the demon who’d helped him threaten Crocus and ravage her home still roamed free and Jasmine meant to catch the demon - Zajaar was his name. She sought him out on her own, and fought him again.

Once more, Jasmine didn’t stand a chance against shadow fire. She found the demon easily enough, but his fire was too strong. Her whole right arm was burned and she wound up cowering in the woods, once again blending in and becoming too difficult for the demon to find. With dirt over her skin, Jasmine was - and still is - very good at becoming a part of the earth. The now Sabertooth mage didn’t want to blend in and hide, though. She wanted to have to face him because she needed to know she had the courage. She needed a chance to actually be forced to remain in a fight even beyond the point where she thought she stood a chance.

After making it back alive - albeit injured - Jasmine dyed her hair blue when it had been brown for the longest time. She was determined that next time she fought the shadow fire demon, she would not be able to just hide from him anymore. She didn’t want to be that kind of coward because that never was what she believed Sabertooth was meant to stand for. She wants to adequately represent her home because she’s highly grateful to them.

It would be four more years before she would actually encounter him again, and in that time, Jasmine returned to working on strengthening herself so that if she encountered Zajaar again, she might be able to stand a better chance. Her guild members encouraged her and helped her to learn more about the world since her former knowledge had been more specific to farming and the knowledge that entailed. That level of education left a lot to be desired as far as knowledge about the world. While learning magic control and more in regards with the rest of the world, it was hard for Jasmine to really focus on too much else. She made friends in the guild and she went on missions and she helped to maintain Fiore in relative peace.

Jasmine also collected more souls along the way. She aided in the defeat of a dark guild, and she collected more souls along the way.

Finally, after so long of being unable to find him, Jasmine stumbled upon Zajaar for the third and final time. Using her earth magic to suffocate the fire he was made of, her souls surrounded the earth dome and sucked the soul out of the demon, returning it to the mages who could lock him back up. Zajaar was returned to the Book of Vongraw. Jasmine returned to Sabertooth with her goal completed and she wasn’t sure what to do then. The guildmaster suggested she devote the rest of her life to keeping people safe so that no one else ever went through it again and that became Jasmine’s new goal.

She worked her way up to the position of guildmaster and she works to ensure everyone in the guild works towards keeping the world safe and that no one is a coward. No one in Sabertooth is known to run away from a fight.

Guild: Sabertooth

Mage Rank: Guildmaster

Guild Tattoo Location: Back of right shoulder

Guild Tenure: 18 years

Opinion of Guild: Jasmine is eternally grateful to Sabertooth for saving her when she was lost in darkness, and she doesn’t believe she can ever repay that debt, even by acting as guildmaster and even by saving everyone in the guild more times than she can count.

Magic Ability: Earth Magic

Advantages: There is earth almost anywhere for her to manipulate so she very rarely is without supplies to work with. Sand is also encompassed within the element of earth as far as Jasmine’s magic is concerned. Earth magic can be used to build up strong defenses and to block a plethora of different brands of attacks. It can produce solid offensive attacks. Earth domes can suffocate fires and rocks can make formidable weapons when manipulated correctly.

Disadvantages: Oftentimes, to be effective, one needs to manipulate a large quantity of earth at once which can be energy consuming or distracting or both. In the water, there isn’t much to work with. Magic attacks can work around the earth barriers if there are any established.

Proficiency: Expert

Magic Ability: Soul Magic

Advantages: Souls can be stored in any type of object and when an object is destroyed, the mage is capable of moving the soul to a new object. Blasts of soul energy can also be quite powerful and the soul objects move around quite flexibly and quickly.

Disadvantages: The souls can’t meander too far from their mage. Each mage can only manipulate so many souls at once. They are often stored in objects that are too small to block large scale attacks and the objects can be destroyed.

Proficiency: Proficient

Amillia's Mother was a talented Swordsman/Blacksmith who never wanted to join a guild so went about her life as a mercenary doing random jobs that sometimes guilds wouldn't even take. Her mother was extremly overprotective of Amillia so she spent her days teaching her Self-Defense and weapon combat, She was also never allowed to enter a guild until she could prove herself against mages with no magic. Amillia also spent some time to learn blacksmithing from her mother. By the time Amillia was 16 she was proficient in multiple fighting styles and combat with hundreds of weapons. One day during the winter Amillia Discovered a box left for her by her father. Inside was a note that read,

"Amillia, I'm not going to be around for much longer. I wish I could've spent more time with you and seen you grow. In this box is the magic that I was raised under, it's not much but these keys have gotten me through tough times. Also they are the reason I met your mother, take good care of them.

P.S. Listen to your mother, and no boys.

    Love Dad~ "

After that Amillia talked to her mother about the note and her father. It was a very long night of stories about the man she never met. Amillia always looked up to her mother, a powerful swordwoman with no need for other people in her life except her daughter. Who would always go out of her way to help people in need. Now she looked up to her father as well, this champion of a mage who refused to take money for doing jobs and just would wander the continent to just help people. From 16 to 17 Amillia spent all that time learning magic that reminded her of both her parents, Reequip for her mother, Celestial for her Father. Her mother also helped her by crafting Armors and Weapons for her magic (With Amillias assistance for some) After the year was over, Amillia joined Mermaid Heel a female only guild. She has spent the last year mainly training since she is relatively new to magic, and just wants to Help as many people as she can.

Supplies: The Note from her father.
