The Enigma
(Ahhh....quantum physics. Such a confusing topic. Like the theory that says that if something is meant to happen, nothing you do in the past will change it. The river of time will always correct itself.)

((( Okay. Himeragi, if you're still confused, this should clear it up: The theory of Predestined Paradox is closely related to the ontological paradox in that something, in this case the reason for the trip in time, has no independent origin. The Paradox merely affirms a belief that time is immutable. The series of events can still simply be from causality rather than from some form of higher plan, such as: Event A. Mad Scientist meets Delusional Madman mumbling about time travel mechanics; Event B. Mad Scientist devotes his life to proving time travel, ignoring his wife and kids who leave him; Event C. Mad Scientist decides to travel back in time to prevent this; Event D. Time travel turns Mad Scientist into Delusional Madman. Predestined in the sense that causality is immutable. )))AriaTheWatcher said:The Watcher sighs, appearing in the second ring of hell. "First is gone, time for the second!" He says cheerfully, walking ahead and whistling cheerfully.
(Not yet, not yet)
(What's that one?)Metaphysics said:(Then there's also the Chaos Theory.)
(It is where the future can be predicted and it may happen for awhile but the future will eventually become random and stray away from the prediction)Metaphysics said:(If I remember correctly it's the one where if someone predicts the future perfectly that prediction is wrong. Or something like that. Dunno, still sleepy.)
((( Or the theory of there being multiple world lines. For instance, in one time line, your lover dies. You travel back in time. You then save your lover. That doesn't change the event in the future, it merely creates another branch from the main time line where your lover is still alive. This is known as the Attractor Field. An Attractor Field is a cluster of world lines that lead to a single converging point. While each strand may be slightly different, they're ultimately part of the same great structure and yield the same end result. To sum it up, the destruction of Heaven is the convergence, all world lines meet at the destruction of Heaven. If you were to travel back in time and attempt to prevent Heaven's destruction, you'd make a world line not converge with the rest, and you'll be stuck in that world. However, this is a fixed point in time. Meaning Heaven cannot be saved. It is destined to be devoured by Purgatory. )))AsongOfIceandFire said:(Ahhh....quantum physics. Such a confusing topic. Tasuke runs up behind him, he had been on his way here from Luna's house "WATCHER! What're you doing here?"AriaTheWatcher said:The Watcher smiles, appearing right outside of the throne room of the second room of Hell. "KNOCK KNOCK, ANYONE THERE?!" He yells, pretending to have innocent intentions.
"It's been a while. Still hiring murderers to kill your students?" He grins at him, "Hell suits you."AriaTheWatcher said:The Watcher glances at Tasuke. "Hello there Tasuke." He says calmly, refusing to answer Tasuke's question.
"Oh. That's interesting. Me too-ish." He looks at the door, "How long does it take for them to answer usually?"AriaTheWatcher said:The Watcher starts laughing. "Not anymore, and I'm not here permanently, I'm here for...business reasons..."
At that point Tasuke deduced why the Watcher was here, he definitely had something to do with the first ring. That or he still held a grudge, but he did ask him to leave, "Well can I talk with the dude before you do whatever you're gonna do? Won't get in your way after that, I promise. You know me, Chaos and all that."AriaTheWatcher said:The Watcher shrugs. "No clue, first time here..." He mumbles, getting tired of waiting. "You may want to leave, I'm probably gonna rip your soul into thousands of pieces otherwise."
