Layla shrugged her shoulders, clearly evident she truly had no reason for asking herself, although, her interest regarding the one who carelessly approached her flames caused her to wuestiong their origin.

"Well. I haven't seen either of you around here before is all." Layla shifted her gaze to focus on the one questioning her, disregarding the masked mans response , although it was a decent response. Layla was interrupted from her conversation by the intense filling in her stomach. She was being watched. But who of all people would ah. That idiot Sav.

Arata nodded at her response. Something about it still seemed a bit off to him, but there was no point in dwelling on that hunch for too long. That wouldn't amount to anything good.

"Arata Takeshi, freshman." he said, giving a formal bow. Now that the panic was beginning to subside he could at least try to make himself appear a little less crude to the others. "I haven't been here for too long, so...stuff like that, well..." he trailed off, quickly becoming embarassed over the whole incident. "A-anyway! Nice to meet you two, I suppose."

"Cerin." He pointed to himself, looking at arata. His expression was unreadable from behind the mask, but his voice seemed up-beat next to his previous one. "Nice to meet you."

Sav sat against the tree, observing the scene in front of him. "I should get my job done." He laughed and shook his head. "I guess Shinji can wait." He put his hands behind his head and closed his eyes.

"Nice to meet you Arata, Cerin." She lifted the ends of her skirt, in a small courtsie. "First year? How do you like it so far?" Layla straightened her posture, releasing her hold on the ends of her skirt, going quiet for a few seconds, before realizing she neglected to provide her own name. "Oh! I'm Layla, forgive me for my tardiness."

"Ah, it's quite alright." Arata said softly, beginning to revert back to his usual self. With the unease setting back in he found himself idly shuffling his feet in an effort to remain engaged in the situation. Stuffing his hands back into the pockets of his jacket, the stinging sensation became noticable now that the adrenaline was starting to wear off. "It's...interesting to say the very least." Lifting his head upward he stared idly in the sky, collecting his thoughts. Ever since he came here things have been interesting in a lot of ways, but he couldn't say he's been happier at any other point in his life.

"I like it. Normalcy gets mundane too quickly, y'know?" He explained, shrugging a bit at his last comment. Part of it was intended as a joke, but still it wasn't an untrue statement. Lowering his focus back toward the others, his eyes fell on the now completely safe entrance to the cafeteria.

'Think I've lost my appetite for now.'

Sav eventually got bored of watching the unimpressive scene if front of him. He sighed and appeared back into his room. He waved at Elizabeth and a portal opened in the corner of the room. "You can go back to your mansion now." He sat down on the couch and summoned a book to read.

Elizabeth glanced over at the portal, not really wanting to be alone, but thinking that Han didn't want to be with her since she was so boring. She sighed and walked towards the portal, her tail drooping.

Sav closed his eyes as he felt a strong headache coming on. It lasted awhile before he looked up again, but this time with kind, yellow eyes. "Don't go." Han pleaded. "I don't know what got into me." He chuckled. "Come sit."

Elizabeth turned around to face Han and perked up a little bit. She walked over to the couch and sat down next to Han, wondering if Han was just trying to mess with her and wondering if Han really thought she was boring.

Cerin's stomach growled, and he looked at the cafeteria. A clawed finger scratched lightly at the skin beneath his red eye as he thought, releasing another puff of white smoke.

Han wrapped his arm around Elizabeth and sighed. "Sorry about calling you boring." He was planning on making Sav pay later on. "I'm pretty boring as well." He laughed and kissed her on the cheek.

Elizabeth smiled, staring at the ground. "It...it's fine, I am really boring, so you were kind of right to say it." She says, trying to think of anything exciting she ever does other than trying to kill people for money.

Upon hearing the sound of a grumbling stomach, Layla couldn't help but to giggle. " I suppose I should treat you both to some food?" Taking hold of both their hands, Layla didn't allow either of them time to back out or retaliate, before she dragged them into the cafeteria.

Han shook his head and pounced on Elizabeth. "I don't think you're boring. I mean, you did almost beat me in the marksman contest." He laughed and kissed her. "You did design a rocking obstacle course." He nodded. "That's doesn't seem so boring to me."

Elizabeth smiled, Han was starting to cheer her up. "I still can't believe you beat me in a marksmanship contest." She says, wondering how Han had such good aim. "I guess you're right..."

Han shrugged his shoulder and kissed her again, this time with more passion. "I told you that I don't lose." He laughed and rolled off of her. He snuggled against her side. "If I ever call you boring or anything mean again, and you know that I'm not joking, just call me by name and say 'Savor les reum' and I shall act normal." He nodded and chuckled.

Arata's face immediately turned a bright shade of red as Layla grabbed their hands and began leading them inside, followed by the realization that this place could be lit back up at any given moment. His new found acquaintances would surely be fine, but the very last thing he would want is to have to lock himself away as he healed a layer of roasted Chimera, assuming he could even make it out quick enough.

"That's r-really..." he began to protest as they made their way inside, his escort not wasting a moment's time. Whether he liked it or not, he was here now. "...kind of you. Thanks." Mumbling those words with a hint of defeat in his voice, he managed to force a faint smile toward the others. It seemed safe for now so it would be better to try and enjoy it.

Elizabeth gives Han a confused look, wondering if Han was trying to mess with her. "Alright." She says, kissing Han on the cheek. "I don't understand what that will do, but I'll remember to do it if you say something mean to me again." She says, memorizing those words perfectly, even the way Han had pronounced them.

Han nodded. "Good." He leaned his head directly below Elizabeth's chest. "You know, a neko is one of the few beings that I haven't dated. I never was really interested in them." He laughed. "But you changed that."

Elizabeth smiles. "And I never thought I would meet a demon that wouldn't kill me on sight...especially after... it's best I don't tell you about that." She says, shuddering as she remembers one of her jobs that she had taken.

Han laughed again. "I'm not a normal demon....especially now." He said, remembering that since he was infused with Sav, he was technically a deity. "I'm starting to think that us dating might actually work." He smiled and nodded. "Yep, just maybe."

Cerin was dragged inside without protest from him. However, he couldn't help notice the boy's unease. Unsure how exactly to put his words, he ended up grabbing Aratas shoulder as he spoke. "If it catches on fire, I will protect you." The nervousness from stepping out of his box is what caused him to grab the males shoulder, and his expression change to a determined one. "Im fireproof inside and out."

Layla halted in her tracks upon reaching the serving line. "I won't light it aflame anymore, an as Cerin said, he will protect you, as will I." With a small giggle, Layla releases both their hands, only after applying a reassuring squeeze to Arata's hand. "Go on and get your food while I go find a table, sounds good?" Layla waited patiently for their response, scanning them both with crystal blue irises.

Elizabeth smiles, wanting to be in a relationship with Han. "I hope us dating will work, I'm sure it will work!" She says cheerfully. "And of course you aren't a normal demon." She says, remembering the file The Watcher had given her.
