Haruto couldn't help but notice how plot-convenient both of their attacks were, but shrugged it off and maneuvered his way through the minefield at light speed. It seemed as though he teleported to the other side, but he had run through carefully at light speed. Amazingly, none of the mines were triggered.


"Whoa..." Haruto looked at Kagayaku, which was glowing faintly before fading away.

 

[PercyJacks]

"Oh," Natsuo said as she turned to Haruto. "Cool weapon."

 

[PyroHunter16]

"Thanks..." Haruto responded, then allowed the weapon to fade into its rune.

" I guess I should introduce myself then. " He said as he walked in front of them. " Terra Styx is my name. I'm a wanderer. The reason I helped was because of that rude girl. " He said pointing at Shado.

 

[PercyJacks]

"Why did you help her then if she was rude?"

 

[rennuelaw]

"Why did you help her then if she was rude?"

" She is interesting , for her to be helping you you must be pretty special so I decided to lend my services as well. " He said.

 

[PyroHunter16]

"Her reason for joining us was nothing too special, just a quest to kill the dragon." Haruto told Terra. At least I'm not the only male here anymore. Haruto thought.

 

[PercyJacks]

"Well, actually I'm the one helping them…"


Natsuo decided not to say anything more and proceeded carefully through the minefield, leaving the others behind.

Haruto began walking towards the volcano, having already passed through the minefield with Kagayaku's light-speed boost.

 

[PercyJacks]

"Okay now the super sensitive monsters are next. I'm not wrong this time."

 

[PyroHunter16]

"You're sure?" Haruto walked close to Natsuo, almost within hand-holding distance.

 

[PercyJacks]

"Definitely, definitely. Remember to have as little movement as possible."

 

[PyroHunter16]

"Right." As the group approached the sensitive monsters, everyone acted as natural as possible. The monsters ignored them all, and they managed to walk by with no interruptions. Once they were a safe distance away, everyone took a sigh of relief.


"Phew... That was pretty stressful..." Haruto said.

 

[PercyJacks]

"Don't complain, you got to slow down and relax your body after those plant monsters. And look, the volcano isn't too far from here."

 

[PyroHunter16]

"Very true." Haruto sighed, then walked closer to the volcano with the rest of the group. Eventually, the group was walking on volcanic rock, to which Haruto empowers an empty rune with. "Furue..."


The rune changed to match the earthen grounds it was empowered with, and left Haruto with a relatively large buckler shield colored black with silver detailing. Its rim had a silver blade-like circumference around it, which seemed to match perfectly with the shield's coloration.


"Two more left..." He murmured to himself as he allowed the shield to fade.

 

[PercyJacks]

Natsuo looked at Haruto questionably.


"Two more left…?"

Momoka looked towards the volcano, flashing back to the dreams she had, hoping they wouldn't happen.

 

[PyroHunter16]

"Elemental armaments I've acquired on the way to the dragon. There's two left, and I already have Zangetsu, Toketsu, Nagremasu, Kakku, Kagayaku, and Furue. There's eight in total, and I'll need all eight in this upcoming fight." Haruto responded to Natsuo.

 

[PercyJacks]

"Okay…" Natsuo continued on, and the ground started to slope upwards, indicating that she was on the volcano.

Terra looked at the volcano with narrowed eyes. " This is going to hard ...........but also fun. " He muttered with a small smirk

 

[Sizniche]

Unbeknownst to the group, another one was after the dragon in the volcano. They stood like a tower of white steel, wielding a sword from Mithril as pure as the kindest hearts. This was Hayden Alabaster.


Hayden had only recently heard about the dragon, and once more found themself rushing to continue the never ending fight. Hayden was miles away, traveling to the destination in his light-energy form with astounding speed...

An orb of light can be seen by the group, zipping to the ground in the distance. It dims when it makes contact with the ground, but the source of the light still appears to be there.

Hayden has heard of the behavior of the monsters here, and decides not to land directly on the mountain to avoid attracting undue attention, and so that Hayden's approach does not seem threatening. Hayden's sword hung like a loose weight on a strap.

Momoka began to climb up the volcano.

 

[EmyTheAngelNeko]

"WOOOOOOOO!!" Emy was flying on Leafa. Guess she must've caught up with them after accidentally went the wrong way. She stopped to the group,"Sorry I was off track, but anyone need a lift?"

"I think we're good, Emy. You must've taken a wrong turn somewhere..." Haruto spotted a large crystal embedded in the ground, then summoned an empty rune to use. Silver took over the rune's coloration as crystalline details filled it up, summoning forth a silver greatsword with various crystalline details and an overall crystalline shape.


"Welcome aboard, Hansha..." Haruto murmured as he continued his trek up the volcano.

Leafa had to fly by them. Emy was watching Haruto for a moment, slightly blushing. Leafa smirked and nudged Emy again, snickering. Emy's blush reddens, looking at Leafa,"H-Hey! S-Shut up!" Leaf does a small roar while snickering,"O-Oh come on Leafa! T-This isn't funny anymore!"
