Momoka nodded and took the bacon and put it on a plate. She then turned to her friends and yelled at 100% volume. "BREAKFAST TIME!!!!! "

Shado fell off the rock she was sitting on due to surprise at Momoka's loud voice. She rubbed her head, "Ow! Geez Momoka, so loud.." She murmurs.

Haruto had to put up a soundproofing rune on anyone nearby Momoka when she yelled out, so their hearing would not be affected.


"You don't need to yell so loud... It might end up attracting monsters..." Haruto commented. "As for your other question, I'll answer later."


He whispered this last part as he went to get plates and cutlery for everyone.

 

[GirlyTurtle]

Momoka looked confused. "What are you talking about? If anything, I would have killed them off." She shrugged. "Anyway, I wanted to make sure you all could hear me."

"You didn't need to yell at such a dangerously loud level though... It could've affected my hearing..." Haruto noted as he filled his plate with some pancakes, plenty of bacon, and two slices of toast with enough egg to cover each slice. "Never mind that now. Thanks for the meal!"


And with those words, Haruto happily consumed the meal. He stopped for a moment to ask a very important question...


"Did we make coffee?"

Shado sheathes her sword and sits back down on her rock and plays with an orb of moon magic. "Should I scout the area again? And no Haruto we didn't."

 

[GirlyTurtle]

Momoka looked up. "No, and no. 1. Coffee stunts growth and can affect mana negatively. 2. Shado, come on, eat with us!"

 

[PyroHunter16]

"It doesn't seem to affect me all that much... I've had multiple times where I drank coffee and neither of those traits were affected in any way, shape, or form." Haruto pouted slightly, and just had to make do with drinking water from his canteen instead. "Momo's right, Shado. Come eat with us. You must be starving after what's been happening."

 

[GirlyTurtle]

Momoka hmphed. "Nothing wrong with water!" She took some bacon, eggs, toast, and pancakes from the serving plates and began eating.

 

[DaughterofShadows]

"I'm alright with the food, I don't eat much. I'll go scout the area," Shado says, and walks toward the forest once again.

 

[GirlyTurtle]

Momoka stood up. "No!" She dashed up to Shado and began dragging her to the food. "You are going to eat. Got that?!"

 

[DaughterofShadows]

Shado complains, "I am not eating food okay? I'm fine with what I've got."

 

[GirlyTurtle]

Momoka looked at Shado in the eye, all emotion gone from her face. "You are eating. That is final. I don't fucking care if you're not hungry. If you don't eat, some food will go to waste. I suggest you eat now otherwise bad things will happen to your body. Okay?" She smiled creepily when she finished talking.

Shado is unaffected by her smile. "I'm not eating."

 

[PercyJacks]

Natsuo walked through the forest and smelled the scent of bacon, eggs, toast, and pancakes. She decided that she would avoid them and only go there if she was really hungry, which she wasn't. Then a piercing cry echoed through the air which sounded like a new monster had appeared. Natsuo hurried towards the sound and found a manticore hovering just above the treeline. She smiled and unsheathed her sawblades, then jumped to slay the monster in the air.

"Do we need to force the food down your throat?" Haruto said casually to Shado in between bites of his meal.

 

[GirlyTurtle]

"Yes. You are." Momoka started running towards the food, dragging Shado with her before abruptly stopping and swinging her towards it. "Eat. Now." A monster cry pierced through the air. "Fuck." Momoka cursed. "Why now, of all times?"

 

[DaughterofShadows]

"I'm not eating okay? Why do you guys care anyway?"

 

[GirlyTurtle]

Momoka turned to Shado. "Because you're our friend. Friends don't let each other starve. While it's good to be selfless, you need to also take care of yourself. If you won't, we will."

Haruto heard a piercing cry echo through the forest, then set down his meal and summoned his katana.


"Well... Something else is here. Shado, let's go deal with it." Haruto commanded with absolute authority. "She can eat later, I'll just need to force the food down her throat if necessary."

 

[DaughterofShadows]

"Still not going to eat. This isn't part of my diet," Shado's eyes widened as she covered her mouth.


She then hears Haruto and takes off towards the sound, sword unsheathed.

 

[GirlyTurtle]

Momoka nodded. "Okay, let's go. If you don't like meat, Shado, we made pancakes, eggs, and toast..."

Haruto and Shado rushed off to find the source of the noise, only to find a blue-haired lady wielding sawblades and hacking up some unknown monster. Just to be safe, Haruto unsheathed his blade and held it up in an Iaido stance, prepared to strike in self-defense.

Natsuo knew she couldn't fly so she worked out a plan in her head to fight the manticore while in the air. The manticore was about twelve times her own size, so she decided that she need to either stay on the manticore or bring it down. The manticore's wings were made of tough lizard scales, which were very difficult to cut through, so Natsuo went with option A.

Shado summoned her moon magic to allow her to float and she also summoned moon magic to form in the shape of wings so the blue haired person could fly.
