"Yeah! I bet he'd like to know what's going on." Nepeta kept her claws unsheathed. Jade was right. They needed to be prepared. "He's that away." She pointed in Wolverine's general scent direction. "His scent is odd.....Nya. We should stick close together."
 
Jade looked over to the direction of where the scent was coming from and nodded. With someone who sounds like that it's hard to tell what they're like or if they'd be an ally to them. "Let's go Nepeta!" She said to the troll girl. She had her rifle pointed out and ready to fire and began walking towards the given direction of the person.
 
Wolverine sniffed the air; two strange scents were approaching. He jumped off the fallen tree. Soon he saw the figures of two girls. What kind of mutants are these? He asked himself. He noticed Jade's rifle; he growled and unsheathed his metal claws. "I don't know who you are, but if you want me," he said, thinking that they were sent to hunt him down. "I'm not leaving without a fight."
 
"Wait mister! We don't want a fight mew!" Nepeta frowned a bit before smiling again. "Mew are lost like we are right?~ We're on our way to a village. We were wondering if mew wanted to join us. Jade's not gonna shoot. Nya."
 
Sonic looked at Tigress The Gamer and Shadow, "Alright you said that you sensed a few in the forest right and two others left with this so called guy named Mephiles...then here's the deal since me and Shadow are the fastest we will head back in the forest and gather them back here, you two run and grab those other two who left with Mephiles!" Sonic explained looking at the two to see if they agreed. Sonic then nodded at Shadow and looked toward the forest, "Now if anyone has any objections I suggest we go now!" Sonic said smirking.
 
"You say that like following Mephiles is going to be easy." The Gamer said to Sonic, "Mephiles disappeared into darkness with the other two. Unless someone else has darkness powers, there's a good chance we can't get to where they went. Also, I'd have to know where they went to follow them. I don't think we can get them back. We'll just have to wait for them to challenge us to a card battle."

Just as Sonic was about to speed off The Gamer threw a great point that made sense, "Your right...I sure hope that they'll be okay...and Card battle?! I'm sorry but we're not here to play poker or anything!" Sonic said chuckling "Don't get me wrong I do like a little competition!" Sonic said reminiscing when he had to collect a certain amount of rings get shaken by robotic arms and then climb the mountain of rings just to get a chaos emerald. Sonic shook from his thoughts and got serious again "Anyway let's get to that forest and grab our friends were worry about Mephiles and the two others later!" Sonic smirked and got ready to speed off to the forest.
 
Wolverine sheathed his claws, but still looked unhappy. Was it the way Nepeta pronounced 'you' as 'mew' or how she said 'nya' that annoyed him. Or maybe it was the travailing question; even though Wolverine helped the Avengers, he still is a bit of a loner. A village huh. That must mean natives. He turned. "If you're going to the village too, take another path," he grumbled, before walking off.


Tigress ran into the forest, though not as fast as Sonic, she was faster than a human as she ran on all fours. Using her animal sense of smell, she found Jade and Nepeta. "You must have been the friends Sonic was talking about," she said to them.


Wolverine hadn't walked off far and stopped when he noticed the group. With his animal empathy power, he could tell from the anthropomorphic animals that they weren't natives to this world and they weren't after him. He looked at the rest of the group as they walked into the forest. "Ran out of scarecrows and tin men?" he asked gruffly, making a reference to the Wizard of Oz, before continuing on his way.
 
Jade gave a sigh of relief that the strange and rather angry man had left them alone. What a jerk! I'm glad he didn't try to hurt us thought. She thought. She looked and saw an anthropomorphic tiger behind her and asked if they were with "Sonic". Was Sonic was one of the others Nepeta told her was there with her? The name sounded familiar. Jade figured they were, "Yup! Do you have any idea on where we should go Miss?" She said with a smile on her face. It was hard for her not to since animals that looked like her have always been something she found cool.

"Sonic? Oh mew mean that creature Karkitty called a pricklebeast." Nepeta nodded. "Yup, yup! But we have to find Karkitty first." She smiled sheepishly. "I....might've ran off on him....a few times. Heh.... And I don't remember where I left him at." She could zone out when she was tracking things and people.
 
Sonic stood beside Tigress and looked at the two,he only knew the strange girl named Nepeta he believed there with her was another lady mo doubt another who woke up here without a clue, "Nice to meet you miss if you'll follow Tigress here she should help you back to the village where everyone else is at...and he called me a Pricklebeast...anyway we should search for..Karkitty you called him right?" Sonic nodded remembering her calling the other strange boy that. "Well first things first.." Sonic said looking past the girls directly at the walking man, "Is that guy with us...he doesn't seem like he lives around here..though he seems..animal like?" Sonic shrugged saying that loud enough for the man hear.
 
Nepeta pouted slightly. "Only I can call him Karkity....." She quickly changed her demeanor as she smiled again. "No I think he's a loner. I don't think he lives around here though. He seems to be in the same boat we are."
 
Sonic nodded "That's just enough for me to help him out then..no weirdo left behind!" Sonic said chuckling as he sped toward Wolverine instantly catching up to him "Hey buddy..a little birdie told me that you were lost" Sonic said walking with the guy "So I'm here to help you out..me and some other people are meeting at the village it be good if you came..I got some info that may get us a way back home!" Sonic said smirking.
 
Wolverine ignored the others as he continued to walk away. He didn't want their help; he didn't think he needed it. He is the best at what he does after all."I don't need your help blue," he said gruffly. "I can find my own my back."


"We should find your friend." Tigress said to Nepeta. "Try to retrace your steps." She glanced at Wolverine. For a loner, he has some strange lingering scents. He must work with a team occasionally.
 
The Gamer was standing upside-down on a tree branch that was a ways out of the way of their conversation. Like most times, he wanted to watch how everything unfolded. Playing an omnipotent watcher was entertaining. He wondered if this was one of the Wolverines that could sniff him out. He really hated that ability; it makes it so hard to sneak around and do what he wanted behind the scenes. If only he could find a way to hide his scent...
 
Sonic looked up at the man and stood in front of him "Look buddy I know you don't know me or the others at all but I can assure you that their friendly were all here for the same reason to get home so why not help each other out it'd make things go a lot smoothly, besides I don't want you getting hurt out here!" Sonic said crossing his arms and smiling.
 
Wolverine sniffed the air, before looking right at Gamer. He turned his attention back to the hedgehog. "I don't need your protection bub," he growled. He grumbled to himself as he walked by Sonic.
 
Sonic sighed as he watched the man walk off he obviously was a little stubborn and really needed to fix that, though it couldn't be help, not now anyway besides he had a feeling he was gonna meet him pretty soon any way. Sonic walked back toward the girls shrugging "Well he obviously wants to be left alone..now then was there anybody else were missing..besides the obvious two that left with..Mephiles right" Sonic scratched his head at that name it felt so familiar but It was the first time he heard it.
 
Tigress nodded. "As far as I know, just Karkity," she replied. Her calm orange eyes glanced at Wolverine as he walked away. He looks like he has been through a lot of battles. He looks like he can handle himself, but I'm not sure how he'll fare against Mephiles. He probably wouldn't give in to him, but he wouldn't win either. "I'm going to try to talk to him," she said to Sonic. "Start the search without me. This may take awhile." She walked over to Wolverine.
 
The Gamer got out of the tree and walked to the rest of the group. "You're better off not knowing about Mephiles." he said to Sonic, "He basically killed you, but you were revived by the chaos emeralds and... true love's kiss." He seemed to have trouble saying those last three words as if it brought back uncomfortable memories. "But then you went back in time and prevented everything from happening. If only I could forget it too." After a slight pause, he said "I think I might have a way to get at least one of the two that joined the dark side to come to us. If I do it, however, we should be prepared for a fight. Anyone who plays duel monsters should get their decks ready." He clearly was being sarcastic on the last sentence.
 
Sonic looked at the gamer and scratched his head "True loves...kiss?" Sonic said to himself before shrugging "well if what you say is true I'm glad I did what I did for the sake of my friends...anyway let's get on finding your friend." Sonic said looking at Nepeta. "Do you remember where he was last that might help speed the process." Sonic added.
 
"Um....Somewhere thataway." Nepeta pointed in the direction she came in when she was chasing down Jade. "I hope Karkitty hasn't fallen in a hole or anything..." She had sensed a few dangers on the ground while jumping through the trees. Speaking of trees, she jumped into one and grinned. "Catch up if you can weird prickly creature~" She giggled softly as her hunting instincts kicked in and she started jumping through the trees again
 
Sonic smirked "Don't worry about me keeping up!" Sonic said hopping on a tree branch and jumping from branch to branch "Just speed it up I'll be right on your heels!" Sonic said chuckling no matter what the situation he always loved moving about especially chasing after others even though he was not going as fast if he were to pass her he wouldn't know where to go. Sonic chuckled again as he began doing random tricks as he hopped from tree to tree.
 
"Hey wait for me! I don't want to be left alone here!" Jade shouted as she looked above at the trees Sonic and Nepeta were jumping around in. She ran as fast as she could to catch up with them while carrying her rifle with her, which wasn't an easy thing to do.
 
Moments later Tigress appeared out of the forest. She was in the middle of fighting with Wolverine; she tried to convince him to join the group, but a friendly battle seemed the only way to sway him. Tigress moved fast as she dodged his claws. She quickly tapped pressure points and Wolverine became paralyzed. "Now will you join us?" she asked him, as she undid the chi block. Wolverine grunted and sheathed his claws. "I'll take that as a yes," she added, before the two of them followed the others.
